I'm not going to say this was an Overdrive I didn't enjoy (far from it), but I definitely enjoyed last 2-3 shows more. The thing is I can't quite put my finger on why. There was some really good segments, and I think we saw some real focus on one or two of the Mayhem feuds, the matches were well written as always, but I got to the end I just wasn't as psyched as I felt last week and the week before. Could be a mood thing.
Anyway, here is some of the stuff I really liked.
- The opening segment really advanced the tag title match at Mayhem; glad to see that. I thought the mayor stuff was a bit so-so, but I think I understand why it was there. The AKA's interruption did elevate the segment though and gave us a raucous start to the evening.
- Biggs' promo after The STUDS was great; I love all the subtext with Biggs' involvement with the tag champs.
- The show's climax was good. I have been curious about what Gates/Noble would do next to keep this feud interesting, but those guys did it this week with a nice bit of poor eaves-dropping, a bit of the old switcheroo, and a nice cliff-hanger that needs a resolution next week. Solid stuff.
- And that despicable Tmarv is at it again. What a villain! If this were for real I would already be paying to see Keaton Saint murder that sumbitch at Mayhem... ;D Great booking gents!

First bit of feedback for a while, Not going to be great, but using a format they use elsewhere encourages people to give a little feedback so going to use something along those lines.
First things first though....
Bad Slade!
or
Bad Jeff!
Its the RaZorblade, not the razorback. Shame on you guys, shame on you ;D
Favourite Segment
Delikado/Hart
Humorous from start to finish, always manages to put a smile on my face
Quote of the Week
Harvey: Oh god! This is horrible! On the behalf of Level-One the Sindicate has the key to this city – they'll be lucky if it isn't burning quicker then Rome! Folks, hide your children and hide your wife's because the Sindicate is on the loose!
Match of the Night
Main Event (L-1/Rebel vs CJ/Noble)
Exactly what I would expect for a main event so close to Mayhem. It shows L-1 and Rebel's dominance, and it showed Cj can look after himself when it comes to it, its him that matters. A little Heelish as I am still expecting CJ to be the face of the company, but I feel the way it was written Cj will come back bouncing and will only lead to a better main event at Mayhem
MVP of the week
Slade Craven
Just missed this guy first time round, but a solid segment and a great match with Hart, I am liking the character right now and he deserves it this week
Negative points
The show from start to finish was VERY segment heavy, somewhat so it kind of defelcted from the matches themselves. Not a bad thing, and I know people want to get segments in for the rankings and to make the show more interesting, but this week I feel there were way too many, so kinda glad I didnt submit what I wanted to.

I honestly liked the show. Unfortunately I don't think I liked it as well as the last two. I can't quite put my finger on why.
Syndicate's key to the city was AWESOME and so good to see L1 get the pin.
Loving that PResident Jeff brought CJ and Noble together...for a second at least.
Anyone else notice that Jeff was EVERYWHERE this week? lmao.
I'll have more later.

LOL
What you all felt was missing was probably the REAL show opener. We all forgot to send it to Jeff apparently, fail!

Lol, that opener is in the show just later on...so I guess that attributed to it's different vibe. I had anticipated someone sending it along later on . I'll leave more feedback later though.

Was just about to add this. Shit, at least it was posted. I went to read the show and saw my segment with AKA first so I assumed it wasn't sent all together.

Few notes - I do think Jeff opening the show with my segment still worked really well. I just don't want any flak from anyone - so I am glad I had nothing to do with it. ;D - I like the Kurt and Chris Dynamic that has been going on for quite sometime and the way CJ overheard him was a very nice touch. Love it. - Biggs part of the studds was stand out quality work right there. I am looking forward to working with him this week if we can make something happen - very good heel work. - Terry Marvin continues with his brilliant heel work as well. I know I am running the entire Sindicate angle - but he's my favourite and probably the best heel in the APW right now. Loved his sketch with Cindy. Funny as hell too. I have MAJOR ADD right now so that's all for feedback. I'll finish reading the show by Monday.

A lot of good stuff happened this week, and while there might feel like there is something missing, I think that can be overlooked when the number of stories that were furthers is added up. The one thing I think might have been a bit irksome is the amount of segments. With only 6-7 matches, tons of segments will overshadow the matches, and while it's great to further stories, it might be best to maybe take a look at what everyone is planning to send in (I'm not excluding myself here) and maybe try and work the 2-3 segments people are sending in for their feuds into 1 larger one. But, in all honesty, the amount of segments isn't that big a deal that it makes the show horrible. At least to me. The only other thing I'd say is...use the mayors name next time! A lot of good matches this week, though, and a lot of good RPs. It's always a plus having so many great roleplayers on the brand to the point when you aren't sure who you're going to get put against, but know it's going to be a challenging matches. All in all, I think a lot of the stories are in good order for next weeks show and then Mayhem beyond that.
