No feedback? You bunch of slackers! The show was segment heavy. Very heavy. I don't know if that's an entirely good thing or an entirely bad thing. It's the 'go home' show, so I guess that can be expected and, therefore, forgiven. It would be hypocritical to start slagging everyone off on it as I'm in, like 3 segments myself. That's not to say they were bad. Far from it: They all really served a purpose. Farquhar's character is coming along nicely - so much so that he's really become a presence on the show. I mean, I was keeping tabs when I was not really on Asylum, but of late Farquhar has really, like, matured as a character. Keep up the great work! The matches were all nicely done; short, sweet, and to the point. This is the style of match-writing that I prefer to read, and I can't really fault anyone for a bad match here. The main event was extremely good - and well done to whoever wrote that. And kudos for the bonus points I got for the ending The AKA stuff was interesting. I saw them running amuck on OverDrive and enjoyed it for the most part. I guess they are pseduo-hired guns now. Which is a great gimmick. And the whole Visa-style segment was actually really well done. Better than many, many other attempts I've seen. So congrats to you guys. I find it strange that no one has snatched you guys up for some sort of stable/protection gimmick yet. Sykes digging out a win was something I was happy to see. Alonso is such a great heel in every aspect of the game that I was truly rooting for Sykes to get up. Sooner or later Sykes will be somewhere around the main event - I just can't imagine this guy settling for anything less. Atken's talk spot? Great. Classic. Awesome. Suzuki was a great guest for that spot too. You have a great knack for these things, Atken. Do more stuff like this for everything! And do more podcasts like this! The ending with Caine/Suzuki was actually really interesting. I'll be honest and say that I didn't know they had anything going on this good. But as I read this, it's a really good match-up. And both of you guys will really do something with your match. Overall, a solid Asylum. Not the best between Mania and Mayhem, but definitely solid. I've got a feeling though that post-Mayhem, going towards TftB is going to be some of the best Asylum of the year! Great job everyone, Keep up the strong work! And, of course, thanks to our great GM Biggs for slaving away and doing all the real work by putting it all together. We'd all be lost in the woods without you!

Farquhar's character is coming along nicely - so much so that he's really become a presence on the show. I mean, I was keeping tabs when I was not really on Asylum, but of late Farquhar has really, like, matured as a character. Keep up the great work! That's high praise indeed. In all honesty, Farquhar is really just a TV character for me - that guy as a fan you pay to see getting beat up. Whether he wins or loses is neither here nor there, but I think he is a good presence on the shows. I'm glad to see I'm not the only that thinks that. On to the show. I agree with Sally that it suffered a bit like Overdrive for being segment-heavy, but when you consider Asylum was really struggling for segments a couple of months ago I think this is a much better situation. It's really good to see so many people invested in their characters and putting in the work rate. Until Blade mentioned it on the OD feedback I didn't even know segments contributed to ranking points, maybe that influences things, but I have never written a segment because it gives ranking points. Anyway, plenty of good stuff this week. I'm glad to see Bailey is more of a presence on the shows. This is important because his 'wrestling' is fast-tracking him rightly to the main event, but he did need to be a greater presence on the shows to get fully over. I like the ongoing dynamic with Sally. I thought the opening segment was great for selling the main event. I wasn't really that into this match until I read the show, but that segment made it feel like a big deal. Well done to whoever put that together. The Callahan/Sally segment was good in terms of the dialogue, but if I may make a small critique there was way too much 'white text' description. It was almost like a roleplay within the show. My preference is for TV segments to focus on dialogue with the white description serving merely as stage directions pointing out key actions etc. But to reiterate: good segment, should be a good match at Mayhem. The Mayhem promo was brilliant. I assume Biggs was responsible for that and it was a really good overview of the Asylum card at the PPV. So, a solid go-home show, nice build for the Mayhem matches, but also a continuation of some angles that are on the slow-burn.
