~~Prologue~~
Why do we do this? Why do we put our bodies on the line every night. Living in the spot light. And why do you keep going after you’ve accomplished everything you’ve wanted to do. Those are the thoughts that go through the boss of APW’s head, Hurricane Jeff. He’s won thirty some titles, multiple awards. A 16 person inter-promotional tournament. Headlined the biggest events. Inducted into hall of fames Ran wrestling companies. Many friends. Is considered a legend and one of the best. But what is left to prove? Why step back into the ring when you don’t need to. Risking is life and for what? Seven years in the business and his career or life could be ended in a match that he doesn’t even need to fight in. A battle that in fueled by pride and ego.
For the first time, in a long time, Kenny Lambardo and Hurricane Jeff, the Kaotic-Storm team up once again. For the first time in a long time, Hurricane Jeff is back in the ring with Matt Metal and Trevor Blackwell. An epic battle this is does Hurricane Jeff still has what it takes. The legacy that Jeff left three years ago, people considered him one of the best. And time has past without them knowing what Jeff was going in the ring. And now, with a lot of old talent being reunited in APW, and the hype that some of the guys from the past gave Hurricane Jeff. The pressure is on Jeff now to show the newer guys that he was what everyone said he was and that now he isn’t washed up and that he can still play with the big boys and steal the show. I guess we’ll fight out this Sunday at Test for the Best.

The scene opens up on a Thursday morning at APW’s President Jeff’s house in Toronto Ontario Canada. Jeff Trying to enjoying any free time he has, which is something he doesn’t get much of anymore. You see Jeff sitting at his kitchen table with a cup of coffee to his right, a plate of toast to his left and a new paper in front of him. In the background, you can hear Jeff’s Nephew, Little Kenny in the background, in the living room playing with APW Action Figures. Jeff takes a sip of coffee as he looks at the sports page before folding it up and setting it a side. Jeff takes a bite of toast and as he’s chewing, the phone rings.

Jeff swallows his food and answers his phone, hitting the speaker phone button.
Jeff: Hello.
Kenny: He Jeff, Its Kenny Lambardo.
Jeff: Kenny, what’s up man?
Kenny: Nothing much. How pumped are you about our match this Sunday.
Jeff: I can’t wait for it.
Kenny: Me neither man. It’s the first time we’re gonna team up since like IWC and that was like four years ago.
Jeff: And that’s going to be our key of winning. The difference between us and Metal and Trevor is that we we’re a real tag team once. We we’re Tag Team Champions once. And we were working together for the past three months. Metal and Trevor, Metal hasn’t fought in who knows how long. Trevor is hurt. Those two, I don’t even know if they can put their ego’s aside long enough to work against us. As far as I’m concerned, we got this match in the bag.
Kenny: That’s why you’re the best man. A mind like yours in this business can accomplish anything. And with the World Champ by your side Jeff, we are unstoppable. No one has been able to stop us. Trevor couldn’t stop us at Sabotage. Couldn’t stop us at Mayhem, and he sure as hell won’t be stopping us at Test for the Best. No matter whom his partner is. Because at the end of the day, you and I Jeff, we will continue to rule APW and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
Jeff: That’s right Kenny. And as long as we don’t lose focus in that, we’ll be fine. Because right now, we have Matt and Trevor right where we want them. Right now, they are just focused on getting rid of us. Take us down, but there’s a bigger picture than all that. Their minds are on a one way track, and we will derail that track when the time comes. And that’s all there is to it. I invited Matt Metal to APW do make our lives easier. I hired him to help us beat Trevor at Mayhem and even though he didn’t do what he was suppose to, we still kept the belt. But now that he’s tricked me into making him into the Overdrive GM and he’s done nothing than try to screw with us. I made Matt Metal Famous. I brought him back to the spotlight, and this is how he repays me? We’re gonna teach that boy a lesson and trust me, he’s going to know why you don’t mess with Hurricane Jeff and Kenny Lambardo.
Kenny: You got that right man. But what about the secret? I mean, if Trevor reveals it, it could through us off our game plan.
Jeff: Kenny. Like I’ve been telling you. No need to worry about this secret. I can guarantee you that Trevor won’t be revealing any secret. Trevor has nothing to gain in revealing it. I mean, he’s played the Blackmail card, and look where that got him. A broken neck. If Trevor was smart, he’d just leave already and call it quits.
Kenny: But Trevor is too stupid to do that.
Jeff: I know.
Kenny: Anyways man, I gotta run, just wanted to see how you we’re going. See you in St. Louis.
Jeff: See ya there champ.
Jeff hands up the phone and then stands up, wearing a muscle shirt and shorts. Jeff slowly makes his way over to the living room with his coffee and sits on his couch. In front of him on the floor is little Kenny, still playing with APW action figures. In his hands is the Hurricane Jeff action figure and the Matt Metal action figure.
Little Kenny: Uncle Jeff look, this is what going to happen at Test for the Best.
Little Kenny takes the Jeff action figure and hits the Eye of the Hurricane on the Matt Metal action figure and then makes the cover and Little Kenny counts.
Little Kenny: One……Two……Three
Jeff: Good Job.
Little Kenny goes back to playing and then Jeff stops him.
Jeff: Kenny, come over here and sit next to me. I want to tell you about Matt Metal and Trevor Blackwell.
Little Kenny drops his toys and hops up on the couch and sits next to his favorite uncle.
Jeff: Kenny. There’s a lot you don’t know about these two guys. I mean, I’ve been at war with these two guys since before you we’re born. I was at war with these two guy in two other different companies before APW. A lot of history between us. And I know how much you love Wrestling Kenny, especially Action Packed Wrestling, so I think it would only be fair if I give you a little insight on some of its Wrestlers. So let’s start with Trevor Blackwell. The self proclaim career killer.
Jeff takes a sip of his hot coffee.
Jeff: Do you know why he calls himself the “Career Killer?” Yes, he may have ended some people’s careers, but whose careers exactly has he killed? Matt Metal’s? Nope. Twister? Nope. Dr. Matt’s? Nope. Mine? Nope. Spirit? Nope. What big names have had their career’s ended at the hands of Trevor. None one, that’s who. A few jobbers, that’s about it. See Kenny, Trevor only calls him self all these little nick names because he wants to feel special. He wants to look important. He wants people to see his nick names and say to themselves “This guy is crazy and must be awesome if he ended career’s.” And why would Trevor want people to think that? For the simple reason that Trevor is everything opposite of that. And everyone that knows Trevor like I do, knows it or has forgotten about it over time. See, Trevor is nothing but a glorified stuntman. If there’s no extreme rules in his matches. Then he’s screwed. If Trevor’s name is in the spotlight, in the main event, he chokes under pressure. It happened in CWF. And it happened in WWC. And it’s happened in APW.
Little Kenny: Why?
Jeff: I’s because Trevor is a mid card wrestler at best. And that’s why he ruled the Xtreme Title division in CWF and here in APW. Trevor is good enough to beat everyone who is beneath him and who wants to take that next step up, but Trevor isn’t good enough, and hasn’t been for the last five years to push himself to that next level to the top. And why is that? Only Trevor know’s that answer, but one can speculate that Trevor can’t handle the pressure. Can’t handle having a company on his shoulders. Knowing that if he fails at “The Man” that rating go down. But rates go down and the money goes down. And Trevor has been like that ever since I knew him. CWF, I tried to push him higher than the Xtreme Title and what does he go, choke. In WWC, after I killed my creation of Version one, in Version two, he was handed the title and a month later, lost it. And then here in APW, after he had a run with the Xtreme title, I give him a shot at the World Title and again, he blew it, couldn’t get the job done.
Little Kenny: That’s because you made him lose.
Jeff: If Trevor was any kind of wrestler that he claims he is. He could have won. But he didn’t. And now he has a broken neck. Trevor needs to learn and face the facts that he is over rated. It’s that Simple. Trevor hasn’t been able to beat Kenny in his last two tries. And Trevor has never beaten me, in singles matches or multi-man matches. The first time we fought, I wiped the floor with him and carried him to a match of the year match. And then I eliminated him in an elimination chambers match. Trevor is useless Little Kenny. And everyone needs to realize it. There’s nothing sadder that going down to the ring, or going to an autograph signing and seeing young children wearing Trevor Blackwell Merchandise. The minds of today’s youth have some how become corrupted. Somehow being brainwashed into believing that something as bad as Trevor Blackwell is good. And I can’t get my mind around it to understand. But you’re a smart boy Little Kenny. You know that Trevor is no good for nothing. You know that I represent everything that’s good in the world of Professional wrestling. Mayhem was the beginning of the end for Trevor’s career, and at Test for the Best, it gets ended once and for all.
Jeff takes another sip of his coffee and then continues on ranting to Little Kenny.
Jeff: And now Matt Metal. The man I made. The man I created. I gave Matt Metal the opportunity one day to be the best and he took that ball and ran with it. Five years later, and here we are again. Matt and I headlined Test for the Best in CWF five hears ago, and who would have thought that Five Years later we’d be in the main event of the same event again. One thing about Wrestling Kenny is that History seems to repeat itself. Well, not this time around. Matt Metal may have beat me Five years ago, but a lots have changed in five years. I mean, five years ago, I wasn’t a thirteen time world champion. Five years ago, Matt Metal didn’t break his neck. And five years ago, I wasn’t as good as I am today. This business, its in my blood. I’ve been in this business for Seven years. And in those Seven years, I might have taken eight months in total of breaks. And in those seven years, I’ve established myself all over the world. And what has Matt Metal done in the Seven years that I’ve been in this business. Well, I can tell you what he’s done with out me around him. He’s done squat. Without me, Matt Metal is nothing. And this Sunday, no titles involved. No special stipulations. We’re going to find out just how good Matt Metal really is and if he can still hang with the big boys. Because at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter who you beat, or how many titles you won. It comes down to how good we’re you in your last match. And really, who remembers Matt Metals last match? Do you remember his last match Little Kenny?
Little Kenny shakes his head no
Jeff: Exactly. Matt Metal, he’s a thing of the past. And what really grinds my gears is that I brought back Matt Metal. No one ever thought it would happen. And the same with Twister. And when I bright them both back, I gave them a simple task. Twister, I told him to stop the secret from being revealed, but what does he do along with stopping it, attacks my best friend. And Metal. All he had to do was do what I told him to do at Mayhem and make my life easier as a boss by making him the GM of Overdrive, and what happens? Metal screws me over. Metal wants to play hero and do the right thing. And Matt is going to lean that the only right way, is Hurricane Jeff’s way. Metal may think he has some sort of authority around here, but at the end of the day, he needs to remember, I’m the boss and what I say goes. And he has two options. He can like it, or he can love it. And if he thinks, going around, making jokes about Kenny and mines family he’s not a comedian. He’s not funny. The only Joke is Matt Metal. His claim to fame happened in the past and that’s where it’s going to stay.
Jeff pauses for a slight second
Jeff: So at Test for the Best, The Career Killer will finally have his career killed and be put to rest. Nu Metal on the Block, will come to a halt. If there’s anyone who’s going to but an end to those two clowns is Kenny Lambardo, The Ego Crusher, the APW World Champion. And myself, Hurricane Jeff. I’ve done it all in my career, and there’s one thing left to do, and that’s put an end to Trevor and Matt Metal. The final nail on the coffin. And once that’s done, I can go back to living a normal life as an owner of a wrestling company. And I can stop investing my time and money into those pieces garbage. And This Sunday, when it’s all said and done and all the smoke is cleared. After Metal and Trevor get their ego’s crushed in the biggest storm of their lives, in the Eye of the Hurricane. And while their both lying in the middle of the ring, looking up at the heavens and they hear the sweet whispers in the wind saying “YOUR WINNERS KENNY LAMBARDO AND HURRICANE JEFF.” Little Kenny, trust me, it will be at that very moment that Matt Metal and Trevor Blackwell, Thru Howling Winds….And Pouring Rain, They Will Fear Kenny Lambardo And….The Hurricane!
Jeff rubs his hand in Little Kenny’s hair
Jeff: Go start packing for Test for the Best, We have to leave soon.
Little Kenny runs off as Jeff looks at the ground and the scene goes down to the floor and it fades out with a view of the Hurricane Jeff action Figure pinning Matt Metal’s action figure.
