Welcome back aboard Callahan's Pool Party Awesome Boat for this undeniably correct observation. People IRL know me for being irrationally furious anytime anyone says something positive about the new Star Wars films. Going off the subject of worst films ever, how about worst actors ever? I have a deeply entrenched and irrational hatred of Liam Neeson in literally any film he does. I don't know why but he seems to find a way to ruin whatever it is that he's in, I can't even enjoy Taken because of him. Nicolas Cage is a horrific actor in about 95% of his movies and is only good when he's unintentionally hilarious for being the weird and creepy guy that he is. I've only ever seen one Jim Carrey film that I can genuinely say I found him funny and that's Mr. Popper's Penguins. When he's actually trying to subdue my "LOL I'M SO RANDOM" personality under the guise of a heartless, detatched yuppie scumbag it's actually quite good. I found that film to be like a sterile version of American Psycho and it was absolutely brilliant because of it.

I'd lump all Star Wars movies in one. I'm not a sci-fi fan so it doesn't have that appeal to me, and take that away and they're not very good films. But apart from Indiana Jones there isn't a Lucas-backed film I enjoy.
As for actors...
- Russell Crowe is pretty terrible. He peaked in Romper Stomper.
- I'd not hugely enamored with De Niro's post-Heat career. I don't think he has done anything that wasn't instantly forgettable in the last 15 years.
- Ben Affleck is another I've never warmed to.
- Hopkins, because he's become this awful caricature that is a mixture of Burton and Hannibal Lector.
- Angelina Jolie.
- John Cusack, because he is John Cusack in every film.
- Ewan McGregor.
- John Malkovich, because he is incredibly over-rated.

This argument ends with three words (four for color): JAR JAR FUCKING BINKS Lucas should Kill himself for that one.

Really Sally? Fucking Independence Day!? Oh wait, you live in Australia, you don't get it. American's only.
Also I enjoyed Donnie Darko, great movie to watch as a teenager who just read "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance".
Never saw Black Swan.
Also, DOA Dead or Alive a fucking God awful movie. It was on HBO last week and it was on in the background while I was writing an RP, and goodness gracious was it a horrible piece of work.

If you're going to put any Halloween movies on there, it has to be Halloween III. It doesn't include Michael Myers in it at all! Want to know who the villain is? The damn TV! Now that I think about it, I'm going to have to rethink my list so it has a spot for Halloween III.

Halloween 3 doesn't count as a movie. It is merely a figment of ones imagination that never really happened.

I mentioned Halloween III in my description for the II remake. I only hate the II Remake more because it made him speak and see dead people...Like a fucked off version of Jason and I hate that more than Halloween III.
The original intent was to do new horror stories for each Halloween movie. They flopped III and decided to return Michael Myers. So I usually ignore III in my Yearly Halloween Movie Party but I will not play Halloween II the Remake ever..
EDIT: Also I liked the entire StarWars Series. The originals best sure but the Prequels have better fight scenes, better overall visuals. I'm just a sucker for a Lightsaber and would cut everything with one if I had one. My question for StarWars is if you're a Jedi can you have sex? Love is a weak emotion to Jedi so is sex a great No No? I think I'd be Sith..

- The Day After Tomorrow - Just about every Tom Hanks, Russell Crowe, and Tom Cruise film The Day After Tomorrow: I forgot about this film, it needs to now go onto my list. But Tom Hanks did Toy Story :'[

full metal jacket was awesome, the fact that u didnt really get it disappoints me.
and how dare u compare mac and me with the shitty likes of not another teen movie.
if anything belongs on these lists, it would be the CHILD'S PLAY series. although, i was generally HORRIFIED when these came out thanks to my cousin torturing me with the "my buddy doll" that i got when these movies came out. freaked me the FUCK out

I agree Black Swan was terrible. It was two hours of Natalie Portman bleeding and crying ... that was the only reason I saw it, since I can't stand Portman as an actress. None of her characters have a personality. EVER. I find her incredibly intolerable.
There are plenty of other worse movies, sure. But, when it comes to movies, I'm more of a cultist. I really don't tend to like the bigger movies that other people like -- like, for whatever reason, Black Swan -- and I couldn't be arsed to sit through Titanic. I attempted on multiple occasions -- even had the FOUR VHS-es that it came on. Just couldn't do it. It's four hours of me waiting for it to end.
And Fantasia puts me to sleep. Yet for some reason, most people like it.
Those are just a few examples. I'm not attempting to be argumentative, maybe it's just my short attention span. Lol, but yeah. I digress. Black Swan was horrible. The end.

When they got rid of Andy or I'm sorry, he grew up then it went a bit dumb. They're planning or were planning to remake the original. The original writer is said to have been disappointed with the original script because they didn't allow him to do certain things that he can add back into it now. And I loved my My Buddy Doll, remember I had Kash get someone one in RWF? (Directed to Knuckles) Fun Side Fact: The guy who plays Sheriff Lee Brackett in the remakes of Halloween also did the voice for Chucky during the entire series. Brad Dourif is his name. I had to look up how to spell it, I like this dude though. Also Fun Fact: The Leprechaun Series might have one more made. WWE Studios is going to produce a Prequel to the first movie. Possibly starring Hornswoggle. Could be good, could be shit. Who knows...Probably shit.

Hey anyone remember when WCW had Chucky feud with Rick Steiner.

Super Hornio Bros is a far far far worse movie. And that, in and of itself, is very depressing.

I think Brodus Clay resembles the Goombas from the Super Mario Bro Movies. Goombas Brodus Another movie to add to this list though? Power Rangers, special effects SUCKED and I was so excited for that back in the day. Secret of the Ooz. Could have been better, It's Morphing Time!

For what it was though (the Power Rangers movie) I thought it was alright. It was nothing more than an extended TV episode - and it fulfilled that.

I certainly agree with Carmen that Titanic is one of the worst movies ever! The characters are unlikable and bland, the plot boring, and the whole thing is an overlong bloated mess. By the time anything cool happens, (ie the ship sinking), I was so checked out that it didn't matter. Same thing happened with me for Avatar.
Also, the 1990 version of Captain America pissed me off! They changed way too much about Cap, and none of it was for the better. They had Steve Rodger have polio instead of being a 98 pound weakling, they made Red Skull an Italian when he's actually German, and Cap gets put on ice after his first mission during WWII. They made it a secret mission at that. There was absolutely no way for him to be considered a legend of WWII with the way that they played it out. Also, the costumes were crap, the dialogue atrocious, and it was like they weren't even trying to do Cap justice.
Another movie that sucked was Jurassic Park III. I can't remember the last time I looked so forward to a movie to be disappointed that much by it. (I actually enjoy the Star Wars prequels, if only because the lightsaber fights are so awesome. Are they not as good as the originals? Yes. Are they deeply flawed films? Sure. But I had fun with them, and I could get past the atrociousness of Jar Jar Binks.)

I think a good majority of you should step back, think of the standard you believe in, reflect on movies you do like and compare/contrast with these 'bad' films.
e.g. someone likes black swan but doesn't like full metal jacket. what
side-note: i like power rangers but no way a movie about them is any way good.
