He made this for the contestants of that little Contest Funk Volume held back in January. Level One had entered and those of us that weren't dicks and actually like his music, voted for our boy from the APDub. However the wack dudes who entered, this was put out for ya'll...haha, I'd say Frank Cannon but he already knows. One of the best ones. Top 3, IMO. I don't think I should have won... but I think I had enough for the top 25 solely based on what made it. Here are the other two, I'd place top 3. Streetlight: or Verbal Phantom: The winner was a joke. |

Yeah most people hadn't heard of him until that song. I heard about him through my little brother and then just got all his music and have been following it since.

Jokerr Killed it, did he win it? Totally took it if he did otherwise I'd want to see the winner. Streetlight is far too close to Cassidy or Corey Gunz to me. Dude got a good flow, lyrics dope but he ain't showcasing nothing not already milking off the industry. The white dude is cool but again, how many craft and witty white dudes rapping right now? It's not rare or original but still cool. Good music is hard make original and to my own opinion, L1 is original with his shit. Wordplay is dope and I'd buy an album if I seen it in stores. Or I'd download it illegally and just hope he'd be happy! Haha...Did Jokerr win this contest though?

I think they added it just for him - I'm pretty sure he won some cash money with that. 500 bucks or something, can't really remember. Lyrically, he wasn't the best but his production definitely blew everyone else out of the water. Very talented. That's for sure. The winner was this dude... |
