So, considering that we're only a half-an-hour out from deadline, and I have all the matches in, I'm going to start posting the show. Any segs that come in between now and 4 pm Pacific will be later in the show.
Quick thanks to Jason Kash, Michael Callahan, Phil Atken, Sally Talfourd, Julius Farquhar & Anthony Bailey for helping out with matches.
Thanks also to Kash, Callahan, Atken, Jules, Knuckles and Chaz for segs so far.

Like you said, show was surprisingly light on segs but I think it's to do with us all still being dead from Mayhem.
Good show otherwise. Interesting to see how the rest of the tournament pans out and what storylines emerge in its wake.

aside from that, could have used a few more segs. really shocked to see the return of LIL' JIMMAY!!
kinda shocked at the ending tho, thought id be getting a piece of "TRY"

Reaver: You do know the "Return of Chambers" was just a tease so TRI could slid in right? I thought it fit TRI or at least Callahan perfectly. He's show us that surprises come in the best of times. As for Frank Cannon? I think he's done with the character so that would explain why he half assed that. Me giving him something other than a diss? I must be getting sick..

Instead of the typical feedback, I will post things I notice that make me laugh.
The beginning of the Phil Atkens match:
Not sure if it's meant to be PHIL! AT! KEN! but that made me laugh a bit.

My Segment:
I laughed pretty hard when I wrote this. Also to be noted, I suddenly realize I have a hidden fetish with Poo Segments. I will be moving away from that from now on. Just kind of funny, Poo...heh

Chaz Dillinger Segment:
Is this a Sally is a dude reference? Cause from what I've seen, that is ONE PRETTY DUDE if so. Chaz is funny, he probably has no idea she gave him some love in her promos.

The fact that nobody gives feedback to Asylum but Meltdown and Overdrive get plenty shows that people ignore us on Asylum. Sort of makes me feel like we waste our time. Fucking haters..Haha

PPVs are the Shows who get the most feedback, our normal shows getting it shouldn't be a big deal regardless of the show. I guess it's up to that given show's roster to feedback the show their on. PPVs are everyone so for Asylum guys, SHOW SOME SUPPORT!

Oh I know you weren't hating. I just thought you were saying don't complain about something you don't usually do anyways. Which is something I should have thought about before opening my mouth. I just think Asylum gets overlooked enough BEFORE Meltdown came along and something new is always so cute and awesome so that doesn't help Asylum's "Ratings" that's just me overthinking shit. Naw, dawg. You already feedbacked Asylum and I think you do every show from what I've checked and that's more than enough. Personally, I think once someone's been here for a month or so they should be leaving it on every show that they're on letting people know what's up and what can be improved upon. Then when they're asking for it on there role plays they should do the same for others. Personally, I think you're perfect with the feedback board J-K ... wish more people would be like ya although I'm sure Knuck's would disagree.

Theres 2 points for the feedback/discussion of the shows.
1. To give feedback on other people's segments/storylines.
2. To give feedback on the match written that you we're in.
If your storyline isn't liked by other people, wouldn't you like to know? And as someone who writes a lot of matches here, I personally would love to hear any thoughts on the match that I've written (mainly from the people in the match).

Well my match was fine in terms of action. Commentary wasn't to my liking and should be more play-by-play and building both competitors up instead of heavily selling the tournament, saying both Isamu and Gubayama 'need' relevance and so forth. Yes the tournament is important however it's the level of skill, the headstrong determination that makes the tournament as such. At least, it should be viewed that way. So what I'd have done is said, "Did you see how Isamu just forearm smashed the shit out of Gubayama? You know why? Because it's Test 4 The Best season, baby. And for the next five (or so) weeks, you tune in to Asylum to see the best action in the business, such as Isamu Suzuki and Gubayama Takagi. Bah Gawd, look how Takagi just turned Isamu inside out via spinning heel kick!!" in short, commentary needs to be electric. the whole purpose of it is to not only sell the action but hype the wrestlers for all their positives and doing the best to cover their cons, and most importantly make the reader give a damn what's happening and why. Go on youtube and watch Jim Ross, Mike Tenay, Joey Styles, Matt Styker & Josh Matthew commentary vids and see how necessary it is to have such. but the match was fine per se. Also, Biggs, i like how you bring the room together.  you're a good man, Biggs. stay nice. |

I didn't mind this Asylum being sparse in segments because there were already a lot of matches due to the tournament. More segments would've made the show much longer and most likely drag IMO. Is it safe to say that T.R.I. is Asylum's Sindicate? Obviously T.R.I. is good enough to stand on their own feet and don't need the comparisons to anyone, but I see them continuing to make a big splash on the brand in the coming weeks and months. Just don't cost me any more matches okay guys? But it was a good show overall. Great kickoff to the T4TB tournament qualifications. |
