Thanks to Kash, Slade, Envi, and TJ for writing matches.
Points to Yarmouth, A.C. Smith, Evan Envi, and Steve Stryker for writing segments.
As always, feedback is welcome. The show was rushed this week due to time constraints and was a few minutes late but it was up. I realize there was a lack of transitions but I'll take any other feedback!

Uhh... Benny VS Cameron was a little one sided. And by a little, I mean extremely in terms of the match summary. Not that it matters particularly because Benny is chiefly an aid to help people get over on Meltdown for future progression, but even still. He's supposed to be fairly tough. Yeesh. EDIT: In saying that, well done Cam. Your RP was shit good. You impressed me. I'm surprised you didn't outright win. Other than that? Show was awesome if segment light and like you say, lacking in transitions. Main event was very good.

Very good show as per, But like Jeff said last week with the segments you did have it would have been better if they were at the beginning of there respective matches, Apart from that great show.

The matches I did read were very good. Just like everyone else was saying, light segments. But that is pretty much up to the RPers to provide segments. I would love to do some Kyle Goodburn segments, but i'm just very pressed for time lately, sooner or later I'll pump out some Goodburn segments.
I really enjoyed the tag match I was in. I really had no clue who was going to win that one, I was a bit shocked that me and Yarmouth won. Great job to everyone that roleplayed though! Great effort on everyone's part.

A Sunset Driver's a pinning move anyway (usually) so it seemed odd for my character to roll the opponent over for the pin, but that's just a minor nitpick on my part, other than that I thoroughly enjoyed reading the results. Though I do agree with Callahan that his match was slightly one sided.

I apologize for that match guys. I'm new to both characters and started to write a full match but remembered it was summerized and just went with what I did. I will not slip up again, I promise.

Well. I personally thought Meltdown was good from top-to-bottom. It was a nice little read and reminds me of the ECW or NXT-style of programming...
It may be segment-lite and the commentary may not be the main focus, but it's a work in progress and unfortunately, Meltdown is doing exactly what it's supposed to do right now-- weeding out the people who no-show and basically deciding who can cut it, and who can't in APW. When your show has that kind of a purpose attached to it, you can't be surprised when the results are incomparable to Asylum and Overdrive which have several active competitors because they have to.
So for what it is, I think Meltdown's doing a pretty decent job and would definitely benefit more from several bigger names giving the show a read and adding their two cents to develop the newer talent. Including myself-- I would love to know what some of the APW vets think about the show as a whole, instead of just their particular match, their particular segment, etc. It helps eliminate problems like people not knowing what to write in a segment, or what they can add to the show.
Kudos to Stryker for a very entertaining backstage promo that I think did wonders in getting him over as a heel and establishing his personality. And a great RP to boot.
And ultra kudos to whoever wrote the main event, since it was suspenseful and definitely fun to read.
Sucks to see Rogaine go since I thought that character had comic potential, even if only short-term lol. Also, I can see how Horrowitz vs Wolves was one-sided, but given Jason's explanation I can also see how it happened. It's unfortunate at first when these slips are made, but when it's already been written, all you can do is turn a negative into a positive. Perhaps this can become a unique storyline? Hmm? Or not, whichever.
But yeah. Good show. Solid 7.

I think the New Class of Talent coming into APW as apart of the Meltdown Show has been very impressive. I wouldn't call myself a veteran but I just recently got into the show and started following it thanks to Evan Envi character. Now I see Cameron Wolves, Benny Horrowitz who is Asian! I have been shocked, awed, and surprised at things and pulled in by some of the writing going on at Meltdown.
Some vets should put over these new guys because they are the possible futures of APW. I applaud all currently on the roster on every show but Meltdown is like the little brother nobody seen coming and it's skyrocketing. Again, very sorry about the match guys. Do you want to bum kick Jason Kash in a segment? He can faceplant right into the concrete, that's fair?
I remember one time I think Rebel wrote a Rico Casteel Vs Jason Kash (Before the feud or my World Title reign) and I had like one move before Casteel walked through my character completely. I thought APW wanted me gone but it was just a mishap and I moved on from it and used that to help motivate me for when we "Fought" again. (Thanks Casteel for selling Kash!)

It's already been noted numerous times, so it's redundant at this point, but one sided bout for my match. Not that I'M complaining, haha but no, it is understandable man. Great match Callahan. It's unfortunate that neither of us could pick up the win, but it made from a great competition between our RPs. Hopefully we face off again sometime. The main event was written wonderfully. And I mean, wonderfully. Very suspenseful! I also agree that it'd be nice of "APW Vets" to chime in on how they felt about the RPs, segments, matches etc. Just for the fact that, this IS a brand for newer talent in APW. The input of well established RPers goes a substantially long way. Also, when does the next card go up? I'm itching to start my next RP.

Here the kicker though for that Wolves/Horrowitz match. I wrote two endings and neither ended in a No Contest. So maybe that was done to save some face from the weak match written. Again, very sorry.
@anselm: I used the Sunset Driver and I should have watched the move first on Youtube. Opening bout, short and it was like 3 AM. Also I used the Driver because using your elbow makes me sad...Haha!!

It's fine, not holding the pin kind of seems cocky which would fit with the Character, haha.
I forgot about my elbow making you sad (only because it's better than your 'bow) ;P

Nah, don't worry about it Kash. It's just a game after all. I have pretty substantial doubts that I got paired to face Horrowitz again due to the result writing. But, in the event where this WAS the cause, I would just like to thank you. I really loved RPing against Callahan last week, and this gives my character some form of story arch to build upon. If anything, I love that I tied with him. I feel like I could face him 100 times over, and not be bored with it.

I think it was a pretty damn solid show. I've got no arguments with the matches outside of the aforementioned Horrowitz match, some decent action for sure. AC Smith's segment was great and it was good to see him working something with a character as I'd mentioned about Overdrive and I think that's the one thing I'll say as far as feedback for people. Role playing is one thing however I think you can push your character even further with segments and that's what I'd like to see coming in from the guys on Meltdown is more segments because if you look at the top guys on Overdrive (I don't know about Asylum) but they're all heavily involved on the shows and I can't help but imagine that's reflected in their positioning.
