As the video ends, pyro shoots from the stage then the camera pans through the crowd before going to Darren Harvey and Johnny Chase at the commentators table Harvey: We are back, after two weeks. Welcome everyone to Thursday Night OVERDRIVE!!Chase: Two weeks ago, we had Qualifying match for the Test for the Best tournament. And Tonight, the people that qualify will wrestle in round 1 matches.Harvey: And tonight, we‘re kicking things off with giving 4 men a second chance to get back into the tournament in a LADDER MATCH!As the cameras cut to the ring, Nicky Paige can be heard speaking. Nicky Paige: Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight’s opening bout is a Second Chance Ladder Match! The winner will continue on in the Test for the Best tournament! The camera cuts to the briefcase hanging by a safety cable from the rafters. Nicky Paige: Introducing first, "This Means War" by Busta Rhymes plays out over the loud speaker as on the jumbo tron a giant video of Mark Mania's career highlights plays. Nicky Paige: From Melrose, Massachusetts, weighing in at 235 pounds, Mark Mania! Mark Mania walks out from behind the curtain with his arms in the air. He comes out in a full suit, as he is walking down the ramp he offers arrogant yet charming looks to crowd as he removes the suit coat, tie, and shirt while walking down the ramp and throws them into the crowd. Harvey: And here we go folks. Final chance to qualify for the annual Test for the Best tournament. Tonight these Mark Mania, Nick Watson, Slade Craven and AC Smith will brawl for it.Chase: And the winner must pull that briefcase, containing their Test for the Best slot paperwork, from the cable above to become victorious.Mark Mania slides in ring under the bottom rope and lifts his arms to the crowd before entering his corner. He looks up above. The lights in the area quickly cut out. The fans are abuzz, and the electricity in the air is met with one lyric. “ALL OF THE LIGHTS” Fireworks go off in time with the bass to the song as a large, dark silhouette appears on the stage. It stands still as a statue as the music continues and the capacity crowd cheers its collective heart out. Nicky Paige: “From New York City! Weighing 275 pounds...THE BIG APPLE ASSKICKER, A.C. SMITH!!!!!”The lights slowly come back on around the building, and only now does the big man move down the aisle. He confidently surveys the scene around him and touches the outstretched hands of fans as the chorus kicks in. “Turn up the lights in here, baby Extra bright, I want y'all to see this Turn up the lights in here, baby You know what I need Want you to see everything Want you to see all of the liiiiights” Harvey: Here is the biggest man in the match.Chase: Watson stated that Smith was too big to move in a match like this.Harvey: Or “The Sensational One” could be squashed under Smith’s huge boot. Smith soaks in the admiration as he pauses just for a moment at the ringside steps. However, the multiple-time world champion quickly pops up to the apron, runs to the opposite turnbuckle, and poses atop it to more cheers from the crowd. After a few seconds, Smith pivots and jumps down to the ring. He looks at Mark Mania then at the entryway, next to the ladders outside and finally at the briefcase above. "Smooth Criminal" by Alien Ant Farm hits the PA as the fans stand up as Nick Watson emerges on the entrance ramp with a girl on each of his arms. Nicky Paige: And their opponent, from Carson City, Nevada, weighing 198 pounds, “The Sensation One” Nick Watson!Chase: I don’t think “The Sensational One” could ever be squashed.Harvey: Yes, but last I recall you believe Garth Brooks and Chris Gaines are different people.Chase: They are!He grins widely as the fans let out cheers and whistles at him and for the two girls, he then asks both the girls to make their way down to the ring, which they promptly do, allowing Nick to look around the arena in a non-distracted fashion. Nick raises his fist to the sky and pumps it a few times, each time green and white pyrotechnics explode around the entrance ramp, after the third time he stops, and makes his way down to the ring. As he reaches the ring, the girls lower the ropes so that he can get inside the ring easily, he grins, and then does so, making sure to kiss the two girls, and then tell them to leave. They obey and make their way backstage. Nick then looks at the entrance ramp as he takes off his shirt, to the adoration of some of the women at ring side, and throws it out into the crowd, as he gazes at each opponent then up above. As the lights go out Slade's voice is heard screaming into the darkness. [glow=purple,2,300] "The Way you Like It!" [/glow] And then the chorus for "Just close your eyes begins with a burst of fire center stage. Slade walks out from backstage wearing the famous leather jacket and black sunglasses. Over his shoulder is a ten foot Fiberglass Werner Ladder with a price tag hanging from it: Lowes. Nicky Paige: And their final opponent, from Denton, Texas weighing 215 pounds, Slade “The Main Man” Craven!Harvey: He didn’t.Chase: He did! “The Main Man” struts to the ring with purpose, then turns, walks along the outside and sets his ladder on top of the others on the stack. Craven pivots and slides under the bottom rope. He breaks into a run and springs to the middle of the ropes on the opposite side, leaning over the ropes in his signature pose. The fans are screaming for it as He bounces back to the center of the ring, snaps his coat and shades off then looks at the others and waits for the bell. 2nd Chance Test for the Best Qualifying LADDER Match [/u] Mark Mania Vs AC Smith Vs Nick Watson Vs Slade Craven The four men both act like they will make a move and pause, then AC Smith bulldozes Slade Craven with a spear. The fans leap to their feet as Nick Watson and Mark Mania collide in the center of the ring while Smith starts hammering away at Slade. At the same time, Watson blocks a right from Mark and hits Mania with a big scoop slam followed by a shard leg drop. Craven tries to roll away from Smith but ends up rolling back to the corner. AC starts stomping away at Slade using the ropes to make that mudpit deeper. Mania breaks free of Watson in the center of the ring, and his a quick uppercut making Nick stumble back off the ropes he comes forward and catches a snap suplex! Harvey: Look at them go!Chase: They all want this.Harvey: Well it didn’t seem like Slade did.Chase: Come on you can’t tell me Slade doesn’t want to win the tournament. He wants it just as bad maybe worse than the others!Smith reaches down to snatch Slade, but he counters! Craven grabs Smith by the waist and pulls him into the corner spins him and starts lighting AC up with knife edge chops. On the other side of the ring, Mark Mania catches a counter snapmare from Watson followed up by a flip that slingshots Mania’s head back to the mat! Smith fights back with a right, but Slade block, right of his own, then a second he spits in his hand and nails AC Smith with it! Slade turns and Watson drops him with a leaping punch from across the ring. Smith stumbles out of the ring and catches an arm drag sending Smith to the other side of the ring. Mark seizes Smith’s Leg and synchs in a leglock. Chase: Submissions won’t get you anywhere in this match.Harvey: But if Smith can’t climb the ladder then I think a move like that will have a place here tonight. As this is going on, Slade is pinned in the corner while Nick Watson fires away with multiple martial arts combos. Craven blocks as many as he can but the flurry flies so fast he cannot catch them all and takes several hits before Watson grabs Slade whips him out to the center of the ring then back toward the corner. Slade runs up the ropes! Whisper in the Wind! Harvey: He just pulled that out of thin air!Chase: I think he pulled it from somewhere else if you know what I mean.Harvey: That’s his specialty. Craven’s unorthodox techniques and moves have always spontaneously appeared. Each man in this match has something they bring to the table. If you ask me, from what weve seen so far this match is going to explode later!Craven does not let him get up, he grabs Watson by the back of his head, and pulls him back then slams him face forward driving him to the ground. He holds his head and shakes the cob webs out of his own head, just in time to be caught with a snap German suplex from Mark Mania! Craven crumples on the mat as Mark gets up and goes out of the ring real quick grabbing a metal ladder from a stack beside the ring. He drags it into the ring as AC Smith rises to his feet. The fans begin to scream with delight the very moment Mark raises the ladder and drives it into Smith’s forehead! Slade rolls out of the ring as Mark starts to set the ladder up in the middle of the ring. He turns toward the rising Nick Watson. Chase: Mark goes for a roundhouse!Nick ducks the roundhouse kick from Mark Mania and counters with one of his own. Watson connects knocking Mark to the ropes. Outside, Slade losses something into the ring then grabs his ladder and leans it onto Mark’s face. Slade scrambles up the ladder, grabs the top rope, flips over and crashes down onto Mark’s body. The fans are leaping up and down. Nick is climbing the ladder as Slade springs back to his feet grabs him by the waist and slams Watson to the ground. Harvey: No sir not yet!Craven raises his arms high. He turns just in time to duck the chair swing from AC Smith! Slade rolls and grabs the green object in the ring he tumbles to his feet points the small colored stick out as Smith charges in chair raised high! Slade pushes a button on the handle and the front of the stick spings out extending to over a foot long! Harvey: He shot him in the face!Chase: With an…umbrella? The umbrella opens in Smiths face, it disorients him enough to take him off his feet. Slade tosses the umbrella out of the ring. Craven grabs the ladder in the middle of the ring, folds it up and drives it into Smith’s head! Chase: Second time!Slade goes to swing the ladder at Nick Watson, but he ducks it, springboards off the second rope into a spinning back elbow connecting with Slade’s face! Craven throws his arms up as he falls and the ladder comes down across him after he hits the mat. Watson flips into a splash onto the ladder! Harvey: Look at that! Beautiful!Chase: That looks more like rubble after an eartquake. Look at the bodies all over the ring.He grabs his back in pain as he rolls off Slade and the ladder. Again, Watson sets up the ladder, this time in the corner. Mania finally pulls himself out of the train wreck with the ropes and ladder. He pulls the fiberglass one into the ring through the ropes. Launching it like a battering ram at Watson, catching him in the gut. Mania watches as Nick falls face first on top of the ladder still caught between the top and second rope. Mark smiles as the fans egg him on, telling him to do it! Harvey: No, no, NO!Chase: Yes!Mark slingshots over the top, crossbodying the tip of the ladder slamming it up, launching Watson off it as Mark crashes down to the floor. He controls his fall but still takes the impact. Watson sails up and takes a huge back bump his body folding in half as he lands a second time. Again, Smith gets up this time he grabs the fiberglass ladder and pulls it into the ring. He grabs it and drives it down into Slade’s stomach. The he sets it up in the center of the ring and starts to climb away. He begins to make it half way as Watson uses the other ladder to pull himself up. He spots what is happening and begins to rapid climb, then springs off and turns landing onto the ladder with AC Smith as he reaches the top of the ladder. As Smith grabs the briefcase Watson catches him with a shot to the gut. Watson climbs, like a reptile up the wall. He sails up and drives his knee towards Smith’s face but AC catches him! He drives “The Sensational One” down! Watson crashes to the mat. Chase: It’s over! AC smith has it!Smith smiles he reaches up and lays his hand onto the briefcase! Slade dropkicks the ladder! Harvey: He’s coming down!Smith does not have a grip on the briefcase, he plummets to the mat, bouncing off the center ring! Craven avoids the falling ladder. Everyone is down! Chase: This is a warzone! Bodies are falling like meteorites! The fans are torn. They cheer for everyone! Mark Mania pulls himself up. Outside he barely has the strength left to set up a table. Everyone is dripping with sweat. He drags himself under the bottom rope and into the ring. Chase: Mania just set up that table![/center] Mark rises in the ring and observes the carnage around him. He grabs the nearest body, Nick Watson. Mark pulls Nick to his feet and shoves him into position.
Chase: Mania Madness!
But Nick Watson counters! He flips Mark over his back, then stands straight up. Cliq Kick!
Harvey: What a move from Slade out of nowhere!
Watson staggers for a second then falls flat on his face.
Chase: “The Main Man” just knocked out “The Sensational One!”
Craven wastes no time, he grabs Mark Mania from behind before he can pull himself up. He goes for a German Suplex! Mark fights it. Slade goes for it again. Second resist! Mania elbows Slade breaking free. He turns and takes the big boot from AC Smith! Slade rolls aside and gets to his feet charging the big man.
Harvey: Headscissors takedown!
Smith rolls to the ropes as Craven gets back up and sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring. AC is back up. Slade sees him, both men begin trading thunderous blows next to the ladder. Smith grabs Slade and smashes him into the ladder making it fall. It topples over and Mark Mania barely has time to roll out of the way. Smith, still holding Slade by the back of the head, points to the fans and yells “You want it!?” He bills Slade over the top rope to the outside.
Chase: Say goodbye!
Harvey: Tuck and roll! Slade look out!
The sound of exploding wood fills the arena as Craven shatters the table that Mark set up at ringside. Craven is motionless as Smith grabs the ladder and sets it up again. Mania is back on his feet. He charges but Smith catches him with a powerslam. The ladder bounces but doesn’t fall. Smith starts to climb the ladder.
Chase: AC Smith is all alone! He has it!
Harvey: No! Look!
He is a quarter of the way up when Nick Watson starts pulling himself up the ladder, blood leaking from the corner of his mouth. But Mark Mania grabs The SensationalOne from behind and slams Watson to the mat again before climbing the side of the ladder.
Harvey: Smith it at the top again!
Chase: Come on Mark! He is almost there!
AC Smith reaches for the belt. He pauses and blocks a shot from Mark Mania. Smith’s right hand locks around Mark’s throat! He lifts Mark Mania up. AC Smith starts to fall off the ladder as he lifts Mania over his head with both hands and tosses Mark to the ground into a huge Gorilla Press Slam. Before he falls Smith grabs the briefcase to steady himself. Mark’s body bounces off the mat and the ladder nearl topples but AC holds tight to keep it steady! He reaches up higher and unhooks it! Ding! Ding! Ding! Nicky Paige: Here is your winner, AC Smith, “The Big Apple Asskicker!”Smith’s music cues up as he remains at the top of the ladder. Harvey: AC Smith is going in the tournament!Chase: He nearly killed Mark Mania! Did you see that?Harvey: Yes I did. And that was beautiful. He holds the briefcase tight as the fans roar for him. Still at the top of the ladder AC raises the briefcase high in celebration. Finally as the music continues he slowly makes his way down the ladder where the referee raises his arm. The fans love it, the cheer for more. AC almost drops to his knees from the exhaustion, still trying to catch his breath. The camera pans around him and the briefcase as he continues to enjoy the moment before the camera fades away to commercial

"Shooting Star" by Black Stone Cherry begins to play and the fans get to their feet, cheering, as the former APW Undisputed champion C.J. Gates walks out from the back with his head held high. He stops at the top of the ramp, soaking in the cheers with a smile on his face before he begins to walk down the ramp tagging the hands of fans as he does.
Harvey: Last time out, C.J. suffered a hard luck loss against Terry Marvin thanks to a little interference from Stan Everdeen.
Chase: Thanks to interference? Gates would have lost anyways.
Gates slides into the ring under the bottom rope and bounds to his feet. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle and raises his arms in the air to even more cheers. Gates then climbs down and gets a microphone before looking out at all the fans.
Gates: Going into last week, I kept thinking how great it would be if I could win the Test for the Best tournament again, and go on to challenge for the Undisputed title at Shockwave for the second straight year. But unfortunately, someone didn't like that thought and unfortunately, someone had to ruin what would have been an excellent match otherwise. Not only did Biggs rob me of the opportunity to move on in the tournament, but he also robbed you, the fans, of an awesome match.
Gates walks around the ring, shaking his head.
Gates: Now Biggs and I, we never saw eye to eye. We never played nice with each other, even when we forced to for basic survival. In fact, he's one of a select few people that I can say day in and day out that I loath. And I know that the two of you are back there, patting yourselves on the back, but what you seem to have forgotten is that no matter what you do, it isn't going to break me. No matter what or who you throw at me, Biggs, it's not going to break me or my spirit. If anything, it is going to make me stronger. You might have derailed my plans by knocking me out of Test for the Best but--
Gates is cut off as “Spaceman” begins to play as the arena lights fade to black and blue laser lights shoot from the stage while strobe lights flash about the arena. Biggs makes his entrance to a chorus of boos, accompanied by his body guard, “Stunning” Stan Everdeen, and C.J. Gates just looks up the ramp annoyed. Biggs has his trademark smirk plastered across his face as he heads down the ramp with a dance in his step.
Harvey: Last week we found out that Biggs was medically cleared to compete once more, and that he is officially back as an active competitor in APW.
Chase: It was a glorious day for the sport of professional wrestling! It doesn't get any better than having Biggs back in action, like we'll see later tonight!
As they reach the ring, Biggs slingshots himself over the top rope, while Stan steps in through the ropes, and Stan makes it a point to stand between Biggs and C.J. as the Spaceman calls for a pair of mics. He hands one to Stan before beginning to speak himself.
Biggs: Hey Ceej, good to see you man. Really, I mean that! Actually, I don't, because quite frankly, C.J., if I had to name the person in this world whom I hated the most, well, that's an easy answer, it's you!
The fans boo Biggs as he gets right in C.J.'s face. For his part, C.J. keeps a serious look on his face.
Gates: Listen Biggs, I know where you are going with this. You're pissed off that you lost six months of your career, which rightfully so, you should be. And you're going to go on and on about how it's my fault and how I need to pay for actions. I'm not going to sugar coat anything, Biggs, what happened at Christmas Chaos was an accident, it was not my intent to put you out of action with a concussion, but it did happen, and there's nothing we can do to change that fact...
Biggs interrupts C.J., replying in a very flippant manner.
Biggs: You're right C.J., there is nothing that we can do to change the past, but what we can do is affect the future. Heck, Stan here did just that last week when he prevented you from moving on in the Test for the Best Tournament!
Biggs and Stan have a laugh and give each other congratulatory high-fives as the fans boo them.
Gates: Oh yeah, I bet you're real proud of yourself, Stan, being Biggs' lap dog and all. Let me ask you something, Stan, how does it feel to be a spineless creep who can't act or think for himself? How's that's working for you!?
Stan's demeanor goes from jovial to pissed off in a flash, and he shouts right back at C.J.!
Stan: Listen here, C.J. Gates! I am nobody's lap dog! I do what I want, when I want, and last week, I wanted to help my friend show you what's it like to have the very thing you love most taken away from you! I screwed you out of a shot at the APW Undisputed Championship because you cost my friend his chance as the APW Undisputed Championship for the past six months! I was only giving you what you deserve, C.J. Gates!
Biggs steps between C.J. and Stan, putting his hand on Stan's chest to push him back a bit.
Biggs: Whoa, whoa, calm down, killer. Let me do the talking. Yes C.J., you're right again. I asked Stan to attack you last week, and he was more than happy to oblige. The fact of the matter is, C.J., all I have been thinking about for the last six months, as I've suffered numerous headaches, endured countless doctor's appointments, with all sorts of scans, poking and prodding, examinations and the like, all I could think about during those times was how if I was ever cleared to compete again, that I would do absolutely everything I could in power to make you suffer even just a fraction as much as I've had to these past few months! You put me through hell, C.J., and quite frankly, I want to put you through hell too!
Gates: Blah, blah, blah, Biggs! You're all talk! If you really want to make me pay, you'll get your opportunity to try and do that tonight in the main event! Key word, try!
Biggs: Actually, C.J., no, I won't, because the fact of the matter is that tonight's match is far too small a stage for me to make my glorious return to the ring. You see, the fans here in Philadelphia don't deserve to get to see me in action. The fans at home haven't earned the privilege of getting to see me compete because let's face it, people should have to pay for the privilege of getting to see me wrestle! Don't get me wrong, C.J., there's nothing that I love more than competing in this ring, but I'm not going to share the spotlight in my return match with likes of Level-One, Johnny Rebel, Kurt Noble and Chris Hart. No, C.J., when I make my in-ring return, you know as well as I do that there's only one opponent that is appropriate, and only one kind match-up that fits the bill, and that is a one-fall to a finish, one-on-one match with you! So C.J. Gates, if you have the guts, if you have the integrity that you claim to have, then you will face me at Test for the Best!
C.J's response is immediate.
Gates: I accept!
The two men get right in each others faces, standing toe-to-toe, glaring at one another. The fans are going wild, as the two men continue to stand there, locked in an intense stand-off.
Harvey: What an announcement! C.J. Gates versus Biggs at Test for the Best!
Chase: A rematch six months in the making! Holy moly, I can't wait!
As the two men continue to posture with one another, Biggs suddenly flashes his trademark smirk, and takes a couple of steps back.
Biggs: As for the match tonight, C.J., allow me to announce my replacement for the match, none other than my associate, the man who cost you your opportunity to advance in the Test for the Best Tournament, “Stunning” Stan Everdeen!
The crowd boos as Biggs and Stan glad hand it a bit before backing up towards the ropes and exiting the ring, leaving C.J. standing there. C.J. just shakes his head a bit as he watches his rival back up the ramp, while Stan mocks him as they go along.
Chase: What a couple of blockbuster announcements we've just heard! C.J. Gates and Biggs will meet at Test for the Best! And “Stunning” Stan Everdeen will join up with the Sindicate in the Main Event to take on C.J. Gates and Noble-Hart!
Biggs gives C.J. a mocking wave from the stage, while Gates just continues to look on in disgust as APW Overdrive cuts to commercial

We're backstage as the camera follows Cindy Shannon in her hopes to grab an interview with one of the Overdrive Megastars in the arena tonight. Keaton Saint begins to walk past as his match is up next but is caught off guard by the interviewer standing in front of him with a hopeful look in her eye. Cindy Shannon: Keaton Saint, any chance for a few words before your match with Assassin?Keaton Saint: You're really cutting this close y'know.Saint puts a hand on his chin and gives Cindy a wink. Keaton Saint: Guess I better make it quick.Cindy immediately gets into position. Cindy Shannon: We're only moments away from seeing Assassin take on the man standing right next to me in what promises to be an eventful match. Tell me Keaton, do you have any final words before you go to the ring tonight?Keaton Saint: You know that they call this the city of brotherly love, now that's all fine and good but tonight the very last thing I intend to wrestle is a brother. Tonight I'm taking on a man who is only my brother in one key area, he desires to be the best almost as much as I do. You see, Assassin is a damn good wrestler and he did something beyond the means of many wrestlers when he beat Blade, but tonight is a whole new story and it's one that sees no love between anyone in that ring, not even brothers.Saint pauses and cracks his knuckles. Keaton Saint: Assassin, you can throw your towel and pick it up again as many times as you want because it WILL NOT threaten me. You can talk about your ten years in the sport, you can tell the world you've seen a lot and I'll believe that completely. But don't expect your ten years in the sport to threaten me, don't expect to think that some passive-aggressive towel throwing is going to psyche me out because it won't. Ten years is a long time but I'll tell you something about my own time in professional wrestling, I came to APW in January and since then I can say with the utmost sincerity that I've seen just as much as you have in ten years because what I've seen, what I have FELT and what I have experienced has been action packed.Saint holds up three fingers. Keaton Saint: Let me tell you about three things, you've said a lot about me but allow me the chance to offer you a new perspective. Number one is who I am, I am Keaton Saint. You call that the future but I know for a fact that I am very real, I am very here and I am very now. The future is only seconds away but when the bell rings you'll see that I am a clear and present danger because of what I do. Number two is simple, I am a professional wrestler. I go out there and give it everything I have because that is what a real professional does, I know for a fact that after tonight I don't have to look back and ask myself if I gave it everything because the evidence will be there, in my blood and in my sweat. That is the heart of a professional wrestler.Saint puts a palm to his chest and slaps it twice to make his point, he then holds up one finger. Keaton Saint: And this is my last point. Number three, who I represent. You said a lot about me being a part of a generation and I have to agree with you in a small way. I am part of a generation, I'm part of a generation that remembers why they do this. We've seen a lot of wrestlers over the years lose their way and fall off the path because of false promises and so much more but I've held true to one aspect. I know who I represent, I represent myself and I represent the fans of professional wrestling. They know, each and every one them knows that I am Keaton Saint, I am a professional wrestler and I do this for the fans. You talk about me being part of a generation as if that generation will be lost but I know, I know you're wrong. That is why when the bell rings I'm going to give it my all, because of those three things. You're the Assassin, you're a damn good wrestler to be able to do what you have done but you can't kill the Patron Saint of Professional Wrestling!Saint exchanges a final nod to Cindy Shannon as he begins to walk off in the direction of his match. As soon as Saint takes his first step he walks straight into the path of John Dionysus. Saint motions to move out of the way but is met by Dionysus shaking his head. Saint and Dionysus then begin to stare each other down as Cindy coughs to get their attention. Saint breaks the staredown to motion Cindy away and as he returns to face Dionysus he is met with an extended hand. Keaton Saint: For this?Saint meets Dionysus' eye again and shakes his hand. Keaton Saint: If it happens, you know...Saint cuts himself off as he notices the knowing nod from Dionysus. They release hands and Dionysus motions to let Saint pass but not before giving him a quick slap on the back of the shoulder. Saint nods in response and walks off in the direction of his match as we head back to ringside. Harvey: Welcome back to ringside ladies and gentlemen. The Test For The Best tournament is in full swing, and it’s time for our next contest to determine who will be going to Chicago on July 8th.“America” starts as Assassin makes his way out to the ramp stopping at the top of the ramp as he flexes for a moment before walking down the ramp towards the ring. Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a Test For The Best First Round Match. Introducing first: from Dallas, Texas; he weighs 265lbs...ASSASSIN! Assassin reaches the bottom of the ramp and climbs up onto the apron stepping through the ropes and entering the ring Assassin walks to the other side of the ring grabbing the top rope as he shakes it before flexing once more and turning back towards the middle of the ring. Harvey: Assassin probably pulled off the shock of the qualifying round by defeating Blade. Chase: I think we may just be beginning to see Assassin show off his true potential; I was very impressed that he put away such a mainstay as Blade. The melody of "Cold War" by Janelle Monae signals the arrival of Keaton Saint, who makes his presence known as the song begins to pick up tempo. Saint makes his way to the ring high-fiving some of the fans in the attendance before entering the ring and preparing himself for the match ahead. Paige: His opponent: from London, England; weighing in at 248lbs, he is ‘The Patron Saint of Wrestling’...KEATON SAINT! Harvey: Listen to this reception for Keaton Saint. He really has become a keen favourite of the APW fans. Chase: There’s no accounting for taste. Test For The Best: First Round Match Keaton Saint vs. Assassin
The bell sounds and both meet centre ring in a test of strength. After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing that lasts up to ten seconds, Assassin’s extra weight and strength enable him to push Keaton down onto one knee, and Assassin lifting a knee into Keaton’s exposed ribs knocks Saint tumbling backwards. Through the backwards roll Keaton is quickly back to his feet but he doesn’t see the express train that is the bouldering mass of Assassin, the momentum of a bounce against the ropes concentrated into his outstretched arm and knocking Saint clean off his feet with a clothesline.
Harvey: Wow! Sickening impact on that clothesline from Assassin. Like an uncontrolled wrecking ball he looks out to do some damage tonight.
Chase: I haven’t seen Keaton Saint folded up like an accordion like that since...uh...well since the last time Tmarv kicked his ass.
Keaton is a little more slower in getting to his feet, but Assassin wastes no time in wrapping his arms around the body of his opponent and launching him across the ring with a belly to belly suplex. Assassin plays to the crowd and there is a heated response from the vocal males and a boos from the infatuated young women. Saint gets into a seated position, favouring his back, but Assassin charges in, 265lbs of unbridled power, and delivers a stiff knee to the back of the head. Keaton rolls away clutching the back of his head, Assassin pushes him down and flops his body over Keaton, pressing the Englishman’s shoulders to the mat...
1 . . . 2 . . KICK OUT!
Harvey: You can just see the confidence oozing out of Assassin; he really has some wind behind his sails right now.
Chase: If you’d beaten a man like Blade just a fortnight ago I’m sure you’d be feeling like a million bucks, Harvey. I really feel Assassin has turned the corner on Overdrive, this could be his year.
Assassin has Keaton trapped in a corner and has jammed his boot into Saint’s throat, choking him out. The ref gives a four count and Assassin smartly releases, delivering a few body shots to Saint, before stomping him down into a seated position, then jamming his knee under Saint’s throat and using the middle turnbuckle to increase the pressure on Saint’s windpipe. Again the ref steps in and only with another four count does Assassin relent, dragging Saint away from the corner and dropping down over him for the cover, but again Keaton kicks out on two.
Harvey: Another cover, another two count and near fall. This is complete and total domination by Assassin.
Chase: I won’t lie, I always thought Keaton Saint was overrated.
Harvey: He certainly looks a shadow of himself here tonight; I wonder whether the turmoil of his feud with Terry Marvin, and his frustration at not capturing the Overdrive Title is affecting him mentally.
Chase: Everyone has to bite the bullet sometime, and there is no shame admitting you’re inferior to a guy like Terry Marvin.
Harvey: I’m sure Keaton Saint acknowledges the staying power of Terry Marvin, but I think Hell will freeze over before a man like Keaton Saint gives up or concedes defeat.
In the ring Assassin still has firm control of Saint, courtesy of a hip toss, which was quickly followed by a Polish hammer. Assassin contemplated another cover attempt, but instead lifted Saint up and leaned him against the ropes, a few stiff open palm strikes to the chest pushing the air out of Saint’s lungs. Assassin begins to circle around the ring, again playing to the crowd, and charges in full speed at Saint, but The Patron Saint shows great match awareness to drop down at the last second and pulling the top rope with him, Assassin’s unstoppable momentum sending him right over the top and crashing to the arena floor at a rate of knots. The crowd finally has something to cheer and start to get behind Keaton. Using this energy he leaps onto the top rope as Assassin gets to his feet and lets fly with a majestic cross body that connects with Assassin on the outside, sending both men tumbling to the arena floor. A “Keaton Saint” chant starts up.
Harvey: And that is why he is known as The Patron Saint of Wrestling. There isn’t a smarter exponent of this noble sport anywhere else in the business.
Chase: I think Assassin got a little bit carried away with himself in there; he made a basic mistake.
Harvey: Are you not going to give Keaton Saint any credit for turning the momentum in this match?
Chase: In a word...NO!
Keaton lifts Assassin to his feet and drives a knee into his gut to maintain control, then rolling him back into the ring. Keaton follows and stalks Assassin into a cobra clutch, which he transitions into a reverse face lock and plants Assassin with a reverse DDT, hooking back a leg...
1 . . . 2 . . KICK OUT!
Harvey: Smart wrestling by Saint, but a powerful surge out of that cover by Assassin.
Chase: If it’s a battle of strength I’m backing Assassin, but the further this match goes the more it favours Saint’s stamina and technical prowess.
Keaton lifts Assassin to his feet and delivers several knife edge chops that knock him back onto the ropes. A whip across the ring into the ropes is followed up with a shoulder charge knocking Assassin down. Assassin is straight back to his feet, but Saint, enthusiastic and determined, lunges in and connects with a forearm smash. The crowd are right behind Keaton and he takes up a position near Assassin, stalking the bigger man. Slowly Assassin starts getting to his feet, all the while Keaton shifting his position so that he remains behind Assassin.
Harvey: I think this situation spells danger for Assassin.
Chase: Watch out! He’s behind you!
Harvey: Saint moves in....KEATON CLUTCH! If he gets this locked in Assassin will have to tap.
Although caught by surprise Assassin is doing a good job and not allowing Keaton Saint to fully lock in his submission manoeuvre, and after much wriggling he eventually counters with an elbow to the solar plexus, followed by a hammerfist to thigh, doubling Keaton over. Assassin runs to the rope, bounces off and charges back at Keaton like a runaway train, trying to decapitate him with a clothesline, but Saint ducks and counters with a release Aztec suplex. The crowd pops for the signature move and Keaton dives across the body of Assassin, pulling back his legs...
1 . . . 2 . . . KICK OUT!
Harvey: Saint folded Assassin like a cheap piece of paper with that incredible suplex.
Chase: But Assassin still had the heart and the desire to kick out.
Both men are on their feet again, a couple of elbow smashes to the side of the head giving Saint control. He whips Assassin across the ring again, and expecting Assassin to bounce back attempts a dropkick, but he gets nothing but thin air as Assassin holds onto the ropes to stop himself. Keaton gets to his feet and Assassin explodes likes a pistol and this time connects with a clothesline that seems to have the power of an 18-wheeler at top speed behind, the impact spinning Saint a full 180 degrees through the air. Not done there, Assassin grabs two handfuls of Saint’s hair, dragging him to his feet. A kick to the gut doubles Saint over and Assassin plants Saint’s head between his (Assassin’s legs), lifting Saint onto his shoulders and delivering a powerbomb.
Harvey: Thunderous powerbomb by Assassin...I felt the impact over here.
Chase: And now the cover...this one is over!
Harvey: Two count...NO! Somehow Keaton Saint has found something to kick out with.
Running out of ideas Assassin cuts a frustrated figure and so goes to his best play – Lights Out. Dragging Keaton into a sitting position Assassin applies the rear naked choke and immediately Keaton feels the energy sapping pressure on his windpipe. Assassin tries to wrap his legs around Saint, but latter struggles away and begins to push himself up onto his feet, but Assassin isn’t letting go, and the weight of a man 20lbs heavier on the back isn’t good for Keaton, but he musters the effort to push himself and Assassin backwards against the ropes. But Assassin is still holding on and Keaton drops to his knees and tries to relieve the pressure by tugging at Assassin’s arm.
Harvey: Keaton Saint is really having to dig deep out there...
Chase: But Assassin has him firmly where he wants him....it’s tap or be choked out I’m afraid....just look at all these Keaton Saint darlings sobbing in the front row.
As if he heard Chase’ mocking Saint explodes into action with what might be a final effort to break the hold, driving himself backwards into the turnbuckle, Assassin’s body the buffer between the two and therefore taking all of the impact. This winds Assassin and he does release the hold; Keaton slumps forward onto his hands and knees, gasping for breath. Assassin though wastes no time, he climbs to the second rope in search of a falling elbow, but Saint rolls away and Assassin slams his elbow into the mat, rolling away clutching it in agony.
Both men rise to their feet, but Keaton is ready first and he plants a toe kick into the midsection of Assassin, planting him with the Paragon DDT, which he quickly transition from neck lock to the Keaton Clutch, wrapping his legs around Assassin’s torso and rolling him onto his side. The crowd are cheering madly and Assassin’ loose arm is flailing about madly; he knows he has nowhere to go and is forced to tap out!
Winner: Keaton Saint Paige: The winner of this match, and advancing to the Test For The Best Finals...KEATON SAINT! There is a huge pop for Saint as he gets to his feet and the ref raises his arm in victory. Harvey: We know now that Keaton Saint is going to Chicago, but that was a spirited effort by Assassin. Chase: Where is Terry Marvin when you need him? Harvey: We could well see that re-match at Test For The Best, but that rests on how Marvin gets on later on the show. But this is Keaton Saint’s moment, he’s going to Test For The Best – could this be the year of The Saint’s March to the Undisputed Championship. The segment ends with a camera close-up of Keaton Saint celebrating his victory on a turnbuckle. Overdrive cuts to a commercial.

Paige: The following contest is a round 1 Test for the Best tournament match up!”This just in: Wrestling is finally COOL again. Delikado…IS…HEEEEEEERE!” With this epically deep-throated narration, a nuclear explosion is heard going off as Delikado walks out and stands in place just a few inches from the curtain. As “Hurricane 2000” by Scorpions starts playing, the Cuban looks out to the ring and points to it with his left index finger before holding out his open right hand and slowly clenching it into a fist of pain--for everyone else. Paige: Introducing first, from Pinar del Río, Cuba, weighing in at 169 pounds, he is DELIKADOMister Cuba begins walking until he is at the outside of the ring. He looks at another camera, raising an eyebrow, and fakes a punch to it before jumping up and standing on the side of the ring with his hands on the ropes. Entering the ring, Delikado now waits for the match to start as he lazily leans over the top rope and stares out at the crowd, a highly amused smirk of superiority on his face. Chase: Last week Delikado qualified for the Test for the Best tournament by defeating AC SmithHarvey: And Delikado may have his hands full tonight with his round 1 opponent!Darkness. There is the sound of a bell being tolled. “For Whom the Bell Tolls” begins to play. The song plays for one minute and 43 seconds before the main riff of the song kicks in and John Dionysus walks from behind the curtain – it is the only ostentatious event in the whole entrance. Paige: And his opponent, from Boston Massachusetts, weighing in at 255 pounds, he is JOHN DIONYSUS He takes a few steps forward and soaks in the response from the crowd, rotating his arms around his body and limbering up for the in-ring action. After about ten seconds Dionysus walks towards the ring. Dionysus stops as he reaches the end of the gangway, skips on his toes for a few seconds and then slides under the bottom rope into the ring. Harvey: John defeated Nick Watson last week to qualify for the tournament. And with the size difference here between these two, John could very well advance, or even win this whole tournamentChase: Don’t let Delikado’s size fool you. He may be small, but he’s dangerous!TEST FOR THE BEST ROUND 1 MATCH [/u] Delikado Vs John Dionysus The bell rings and both men circle each other in the ring. They go for a lock up, but Delikado backs away and then rolls out of the ring. The crowd boo’s as Delikado walks around the ring. John is not sure why he’s doing this and the ref starts counting Delikado out 1...2.…3. John is done waiting and he exit’s the ring behind Delikado and starts chasing him. They run around the ring and Delikado slides into the ring. John slides in behind him and Delikado goes for an elbow drop, but John slides back out and Delikado elbow drops the mat. John gets into the ring and chops Delikado to the corner then irish whips him into the opposite corner. John runs at him and crushes him in the corner with a clothesline. Delikado pulls himself up in the corner and John goes over and unloads a series of body punches and then finishes off with an uppercut. Delikado drops to the mat. Harvey: John hit him so fast that Delikado didn’t know what hit him. John picks Delikado up, throws him into the ropes, giving him a back body drop. Delikado gets to his feet and John takes him down with a clothesline and then another. Delikado slowly gets up and John grabs him from behind and gives him a backdrop suplex. Harvey: What a match that was and John heads to the next round in the Test for the Best tournament. Chase: Delikado came so close numerous times. Tonight I guess just wasn’t his night.John continues to celebrate as we go backstage Backstage, C.J. Gates is in his locker room, preparing for the huge Six-Man Tag Team Match later tonight, when he hears a knock on the door. C.J.: Come in.The door opens, and Biggs' wife, Ellie, comes into view. C.J. immediately gets up to his feet, and seems suspicious of his visitor. She has a very worried look on her face, and seems to be on the verge of tears as she talks. Ellie: C.J., I'm not here to cause any trouble. Actually, I need somebody to talk to, and you're the only person that I feel like I could turn to.C.J.: We've hardly ever interacted, nothing being simple hellos and good-byes. Why would you come to me to talk?Ellie: It's about Biggs, and your match with him at Test for the Best. C.J. please, you have to call off the match!C.J.: Why should I? He's the one who asked for it.Ellie's eyes start to water up, and she blurts out her response. Ellie: Because Biggs is lying about being medically cleared to compete! That's why Stan is taking his place in the match tonight! He just wants to get back at you, and thinks that he can get away with doing one more match!By this point, Ellie is crying her eyes out, and C.J. being the gentleman that he is, instinctively tries to comfort the crying woman. He hugs her and strokes her hair. C.J.: There, there, Ellie. Listen, I can see why this would be a difficult situation for you...C.J. let's go of Ellie and pushes himself back a bit. C.J.: But you should be able to see why I would have a difficult time buying what you're saying to me. I mean, the wife of the guy who says I'm his biggest enemy comes in trying to garner sympathy for him. This is exactly the kind of thing Biggs would do to try and get the advantage, to try and make me go easy on him.Ellie starts to cry even harder. She pouts as she speaks. Ellie: You don't ...*sob*...believe me!? I thought you were supposed to be one of the good guys here in APW!C.J.: Believe me, Ellie, I would want to help you if I knew that I could trust you, but your husband has made himself a reputation for stooping to any and every low to try and get an edge. If you really want to prevent this match from happening, I would suggest that you bring this up with President Jeff. He's the one who has the authority to cancel the match if Biggs is not fit to compete.Ellie stops to think about what C.J. has just said, and her crying subsides. Ellie: You know, C.J., you're right. I'm going to go talk with Jeff this instant. Thanks! She pops over and gives C.J. an unexpected kiss on the cheek! C.J.'s face turns red with embarrassment and Ellie giggles a bit as she makes her way to the door. She opens it, and appears to exit, but turns back and says one last thing to C.J. Ellie: You are one of the good guys, C.J., and a cute one at that! She quickly leaves before C.J. can respond, and he stands there, flustered with what has just happened. Chase: What the hell just happened there!? It looks like C.J. Gates is becoming a home wrecker!Harvey: No! Ellie's the one who came on to him! But if what Ellie said is true, about Biggs not being medically cleared to compete, then that will change things big time for their match at Test for the Best! What a bizarre situation!Overdrive goes to commercial

SHOWTIME PRODUCTIONS PRESENTS: GET REAL With your host…..THE REAL SHOW TERRY MARVIN! The scene opens up on the Get Real stage, looking much the same it did last week, only instead of being at the arena, we see that Terry is now sitting in a very large trailer off the arena property and he doesn’t look very happy about it. ”Ladies and Gentlemen…It brings me great pleasure to bring back the most talked about new show that the APW is so overly lucky to have representing it. However, today I am brought to you in secrecy and with a great deal of complication because the man who controls the strings here has done everything in his power to keep you from hearing the truth!”Terry just shakes his head. He lets out a loud sigh before he continues. ”That’s right. You see president Jeff doesn’t want informed masses out there because if people actually know what the facts are then he can’t use them as his puppets anymore. So that’s why this show’s topic this week will be the dreaded C word….And before the monkeys in the booth try to censor me as I know they’re just dying to do….I’m not referring to that part of the Female body that every lady in the arena is wishing I would fill with great pleasure….I am referring to the one thing that runs ramped in APW….CORRUPTION!Terry smirks at the Camera. ”I’ve been saying it for months. The Syndicate has been saying it for months, and finally you brain dead peons will have no choice but to accept that there is a governing body here in APW that is purpousfully and deliberately attempting to make sure that certain outcomes of certain matches end in a certain way. If the fact that Keaton Saint got 3 shots at a title that he didn’t EARN isn’t enough proof, then try this on for size…..”Terry takes a deep breath before continuing. ”President Jeff can see the trouble coming in the future. See, he’s done everything in the last year and a half to keep me out of the spotlight of a World title shot…or an Undisputed Title shot in this instance. Even though I pinned the champion Sally Talfourd in Survive and Conquer, an event I finished as the runner up in. Said winner, Ryan Ruckus…went on to be HANDED a title shot. Yet the runner up was FORCED to do time in the tag team ranks…just another way to hold me down. But he can no longer hold me down without risking the exposure of his dastardly plan…because once I WIN test for the best, then that title shot is mine and he is POWERLESS to stop me.”Terry smiles a sickening smile. ”And ever since that thought has crossed his mind and TERRIFIED him to no end, he’s been trying to stop me. First, he scheduled my qualifying….I REPEAT, QUALIFING match against CJ Gates, last years winner. While Keaton Saint and John Dionysus were handed the softest of soft opponents, spoon fed a spot in the top 16, I had the deck stacked against me. But then everything Jeff tried to do blew up in his face! Not only did I EASILY disperse of a former world champion and earn a spot….I’ve picked up a train of momentum that is virtually unstoppable. But don’t think for one second that Jeff has given up all hope of derailing me. However, I’m sure he’ll be less obvious this time…for he’s so closed to being exposed as the slimeball politician that he truly is. I’m sure he’s having dinner with Mitt Romney right now, plotting my demise in a way that only a cowardly politician possibly could.Terry shakes his head with a resolve on his face. ”But it doesn’t matter what evil plot Jeff cooks up. No matter what he has planned for my match against Michael Harris, I will prevail because it is simply MY DESTINY to become the Undisputed Champion, a journey a year and a half in the making. And if Jeff sticks his nose in my match this week, not only will you people be forced to face the truth of my words, but I will single handed rip away the very fabric that this company is based on and send it into oblivion with me. After all, there’s one thing american’s cant stand is an outted corrupt politician. They prefer that kind of thing happens behind closed doors. But it’s time to OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE!
Tonight, I will walk to that ring and take out the trash by disposing of Michael Harris and moving on to the top 8 of the Test for the Best tournament. Then, no longer will Jeff be able to silence me. No longer will he be able to secretly plot my demise. He will be uncovered….and like most girls usually are when that happens….you people will be forever BLINDED by the truth.
I am The Real Show Terry Marvin, and I approve this message. I’m not being political…I’m simply stating THE TRUTH.
It’s Showtime”The Masterpiece theatre music plays as the scene fades to black!

APW backstage interviewer Cindy Shannon is on scene accompanied by Level-One and Johnny Rebel who stand on both the left and the right of her. Cindy Shannon: Hi, I'm Cindy Shannon and tonight I'm here with...Cindy Shannon quickly loses her train of thought as she felt a hand squeeze her butt. She blushes and coyly looks at Level-One who points to Johnny Rebel as the culprit. Johnny Rebel holds his hands up in-front of him as if he had nothing to do with it. That's when Cindy Shannon finds her microphone snatched out of her hands by Kia LeWinter! Kia LeWinter: Seriously, Cindy? You're supposed to be hear interviewing the Sindicate which currently posses the APW world tag team championships yet you're here flirting with the professionals? You make me sick.Cindy Shannon: I was just...Violet slithers up behind Cindy Shannon wrapping an arm around her neck as if they were good friends – while the tag team champions just shine their title belts and watch. Violet: That's fine, Cindy. I understand. Not everyone is cut out for this job, after all. We knew when we accepted this interview you probably wouldn't ask the questions we wanted to answer, anyways. So, we'll do it for you sweetheart.Violet shoves Cindy Shannon off screen as Kia takes her spot with grace and finesse. Kia LeWinter: First of all let me say that your performance at Mayhem was something special. How did you guys overcome the odds with both teams out to get you? How did you make it look so EASY and EFFORTLESS!?Johnny Rebel shrugged his shoulders. Johnny Rebel: I don't know. All we had to do was show up and it pretty much was enough to take those tag team titles home. Kia LeWinter: AMAZING! How does it feel to be known as the great APW tag team in APW history, after just being champions for a short two weeks?Level-One smiled. Level-One: Well, you know Kia – some say, it's a testament to how weak this division really is but I'd argue that it's more of a testament to just how great we truly are. I mean, the feats we have accomplished just by lifting these titles out of the grasps of lesser men is worthy of the praise from the entire world. Kia LeWinter: Wow. What an act of courage, heart and all the sacrifice you two men have given to the APW is truly heart warming. Johnny Rebel: That's right, Kia. As you are well aware me and Level-One are modern day main even men. We are a title shot away from becoming undisputed champions, yet we hold the tag team championships just so we can give back to all those little people watching at home. We do this for the men that will come after us after when we finally decide to move onto bigger and better things.Kia LeWinter: I commend you both on the behalf of the APW audience for such a inspirational story! Thank you!Level-One winks at the camera. Level-One: No need to thank us, Kia. Amazing is just what we do naturally, you know? The Sindicate has repaired the tag division! To all the people who said we couldn't do it and our tag team partnership would never last the test of time – where are you now!? We are still here but the AKA and the Studmuffins are no more merely because we showed them what a REAL tag team looks like.Kia LeWinter: What is next for the Sindicate!? Recently, Kurt Noble and Chris Hart have made their ill informed decision to target the Sindicate and while surely their efforts will fail, I assume you are ready to entertain them?Johnny Rebel looks at Level-One who rolls his eyes. Johnny Rebel: Absolutely! In fact, we are ready to do so tonight!Level-One: Though, I must interject and raise the point that there is no indication that Chris Hart and Kurt Noble are even a real tag team. I mean – I recall Kurt Noble and CJ Gates teaming up with each other and failing miserably against the Sindicate but the name Chris Hart doesn't really ring a bell.Johnny Rebel points at the camera. Johnny Rebel: And don't you all forget how hard the Sindicate had to work to get where we are right now – as the greatest tag team ever! Kurt Noble and Chris Hart can call us out during any day of the week but we expect them to have to prove themselves the same way we had too.Kia LeWinter: Personally, I don't think this will be the case. The APW has never been a promotion that supports equality and is obviously biased! With that said is there anything you want to tell the world before we end this AMAZING interview?Level-One knocks on Johnny Rebel's belt resting on his shoulder. Level-One: We are the GREATEST tag team, ever!Johnny Rebel: Simply F'N put!The Sindicate gets ready to leave when Biggs walks down the hall way and wraps both of his arms around Level-One and Johnny Rebel who look at Biggs unimpressed. Biggs: Come on guys, we're a team!At that point, Level-One has heard enough as he shoves Biggs away from them violently. Level-One: No, WE are a team!Level-One and Johnny Rebel clang their title belts together like they would a glass of wine before walking off and leaving Biggs behind with Kia and Violet LeWinter. Kia shoves a microphone in front of Biggs face, posturing for a question. Kia LeWinter: So how does it feel to share the ring with the GREATEST tag team, EVER!?Violet nudges Biggs shoulder playfully. Violet: No offence, you studd.Overdrive goes back to ringside Paige: The Following contest is scheduled for one fallThe lights suddenly go out and the APW screen comes on only to show a graphic featuring the letters “MH” wrapped in barbed wire. It’s about that time “Tear it up” begins to blare over the arena’s speakers and there’s an instant reaction from the crowd. Some cheered and some booed for the simple fact they knew who was about to appear. A single spotlight shines down on the entrance way as Michael Harris stepped out from behind the curtains and onto the stage where the spotlight shines down on him. He is dressed in his ring gear with a beanie on his head. Harris simply looked around at the crowd before smirking all cocky like. He is joined by Carmen Rivera as they make their way down to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and gets to his feet. He climbs the nearest turnbuckle and gives his signature “Bow to me” taunt. He tells Carmen to take off his beanie and she tosses it into the crowd. He then leans in the corner waiting for his opponent. Paige: Introducing First from Chicago Illionis…..MICHAEL HARRISHarvey: Here comes a man who’s hungry for victory and proved his point last week when he qualified for this tournament. Chase: He’s not going to impress anyone by beating Chris Hart. All that proves is that he’s not a simplistic Vegetable on the last leg of his life. This man failed to win the Extreme title….twice. He’s just not Test for the Best material. The lights dim as blue and silver lights illuminate the entrance ramp as fog rolls through. The voice over of “Hate Me Now” begins to play as the crowd is already booing and jeering. The music begins and The Real Show Terry Marvin bursts through the curtain to fireworks, holding his Overdrive Title on his shoulder. He stands there with a cocky smirk on his face while the crowd showers him in boos and jeers. Paige: And his opponent…. From Las Vegas Nevada, the Overdrive champion….TERRY MARVINTerry runs and rolls into the ring, telling the ref to keep Harris back as he hops on each turnbuckle holding his arms out allowing the fans to worship him. He then hops down, kisses the title before folding it up and handing it to the ref. He then stares at Harris while the ref gives instructions. Chase: LADIES AND GENTELEMEN…. The GREATEST APW Overdrive Champion EVER…And here is your winner of the Test for the Best tournament….as long as the corrupt establishment doesn’t continue to hold him down!Harvey: Yeah…keep drinking that Kool-Aid ChaseTest for the Best First Round Match Terry Marvin vs. Michael Harris
Marvin and Harris meet in the middle of the ring and are running their mouths at each other. Harris says something that makes Marvin laugh and he claps his hands at him in a mocking manner. Marvin extends his hand for Harris to shake as the fans all boo. Harris hesitates as Marvin points to the fans and says something to Harris about ignoring the morons. He then extends his hand again. Harris scoffs and throws a right hand at Terry who was waiting for it and ducks under and hits Harris with an Edge-a-matic and hooks the leg for the pin.
1 . . . 2 . KICKOUT!
Chase: And Marvin with a quick one upper on Harris there, proving once again that he’s always one step ahead.
Harvey: But Michael Harris is no idiot. He knows what to expect of this match…he won’t be fooled much today.
Marvin pulls Harris to his feet, but Harris breaks out of Marvin’s grasp and kicks him in the gut. He lifts him up on his shoulders fo a Spiral Bomb, but Marvin slides off spins Harris around and grabs him for a side effect. Harris blocks it, Hooks marvin and lifts him vertical for a brainbuster but Marvin keeps going and flips on his feet…lifts Harris up on his shoulders but Harris falls behind Marvin and grabs him with a waistlock. Marvin throws a elbow up at Harris’ head, but he ducks underneath. He hooks marvin’s head again and goes for a swinging neckbreaker. Marvin swings through and has Harris for a swinging neckbreaker of his own, but Harris breaks out and grabs Marvin from behind for a Backcracker….Marvin holds the ropes and Harris lands on the mat. Marvin launches as he rises for a superkick to the head of Harris who ducks underneath it and goes for one of his own. Marvin catches the foot and spits in Harris’ face. He hooks him for a belly to belly, but Harris stomps on Marvin’s foot and rakes his eyes forcing him to break the hold. Marvin stumbles, turning his back on Harris who hits a HUGE back cracker and tries the cover!
1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT!!!!
Marvin quickly rolls out of the ring and stands there looking at Harris who has the crowd behind him a little bit. Marvin swears at him while Harris just stands there calling for him to get back in the ring.
Chase: And it’s a clinic in chain wrestling there as both men have cranked WAY up on the defense.
Harvey: Both of these men have obviously done their homework and have the other scouted perfectly.
The referee has a count up to five on Marvin who rolls into the ring, but seeing Harris coming right for him quickly rolls out again. Marvin and Harris scream at each other some more before Marvin goes to roll in again. But he sees Harris coming after him and quickly stops, grabs Harris by the leg and pulls him to the outside. He hits him with a quick Low Blow, grabs his head and DRIVES it into the floor on the outside with a MASSIVE DDT that could have knocked Harris out. The referee has counted out to 3, but Marvin. Rolls in the ring and out again to break the count. When he goes back to Harris, Carmen Rivera is there to stand in between Marvin and Harris. Marvin smiles at Carmen while she warns him to back off. He keeps approaching and she throws a hard kick to Marvin’s balls, but Marvin catches it and plants a HUGE kiss on Carmen. She flips out in anger and rage! She tries throwing lefts and rights at Terry who ducks them all as the ref has to come to the outside to pull Carmen off of him. He literally has to pick her up to move her back. While the ref is occupied, Marvin grabs a Steel Chair from under the ring and NAILS Harris in the head with it. Carmen yells loudly as Marvin smacks him again as he’s laying flat on the ground. Marvin then hides the chair and rolls back into the ring calling the ref back in.
Chase: And look what Carmen Rivera DID! Michael Harris is not going to be happy about that! .
Harvey: What Carmen did? She’s not the one who just caved Michael’s head in with a chair. .
Chase: Marvin simply took advantage of a situation CAUSED by Carmen Rivera who has NO place in this match!!!
Harvey: Either way, Harris is seconds away from being counted out.
The Referee has already begun his count and Harris hasn’t moved. Carmen is there to try to pull him up.
5 . . 6 . . Carmen manages to get Michael stiring. 7 . . 8 . . Carmen pulls him to his feet and drags him toward the ring . 9 . . Carmen leans him on the apron and tries to roll him in the ring. Harris comes too, but it’s too late. . . 10!!!! COUNTOUT!
Harris rolls in the ring finally and argues with the Ref who argues back and raises Marvin’s hand. Harris charges at him but Terry ducks behind the Ref and then rolls out of the ring with his arms raised in victory.
Paige: Winner of this Match by COUNTOUT…..
But before she can finish…. She is interrupted by President Jeff!!!
President Jeff: WAIT WAIT WAIT! Terry, for the past 3 months, you have made a mockery out of me and out of this business with bullcrap like this. I will NOT let you make a mockery out of Test for the BEST. This match will NOT end by countout…. IT CONTINUES NOW!
Chase: WHAT? He can’t do this… HE CANT DO THIS!
Harvey: Oh, I think he just did!!!
Test for the Best Round 1 Terry Marvin vs. Michael Harris – Restart
Marvin Screams at Jeff as the match is forced to continue to the delight of the crowd and of Michael Harris who rolls to the outside and grabs Marvin instantly and whips him hard into the ring post. Marvin falls to the floor in a lump and Harris smiles. He pulls Marvin to his feet and rolls him into the ring, following quickly. Harris has Marvin in the middle of the ring now and hits him with a spiral Bomb and makes a quick cover.
1 . . 2 . . KICKOUT.
Harris quickly tells the Referre that it was THREE and to do his job better. He hits a rising Marvin with a Fameasser putting him on the mat. He climbs the turnbuckle and DIVES OFF WITH A FLYING ELBOW DROP! The collision is loud and high impact causing the fans to cheer loudly. He makes the cover again.
1 . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . KICKOUT!!!
Harris then begins arguing with the referee, telling him over and over that it was THREE, and tells him to do the right thing. The ref shakes his head. But behind the ref, Carmen slides a chair into the ring and then gets up on the Apron and pulls the referee’s attention away from Harris who picks up the steel chair and stalks a rising Marvin. Marvin gets to his feet and Harris swings, but Marvin dodges out of the way and GLARES at Harris, almost seething at him. Harris sees that Carmen is DESPERATELY attempting to hold on to the Ref as he attempts to turn back to the action. Harris then slams the Chair on the MAT and quickly tosses it at Marvin who catches it surprised. Harris then falls to the mat just as the Ref turns around.
Harvey: What the? What just happened there?.
Chase: HAHAHA. I just gained a whole lot of new respect for Michael Harris there as he gaveMarvin a piece of his own medicine.
The ref sees Terry with the Chair and Marvin drops it immediately. He shakes his head and pleeds with the ref who is having none of it. He immediately calls for the bell. Terry keeps trying to plea with the ref as this goes on.
Paige: Winner of this match, as the result of a DISQUALIFICATION….
Marvin rolls to the outside and snatches the microphone out of her mouth as Harris is being “tended to” by Car men who is acting very concerned.
Terry Marvin: NO! HELL NO! This is not {BLEEPING} Happening to me. {BLEEP} that! Jeff, you get your ass out here and correct this injustice or I promise you I will RUIN this company!!!!
Harris is now rolled to the outside and has his arm raised in victory as they start to move to the back. But suddenly Jeff appears on the entrance ramp again.
President Jeff: You should know by now Terry… I DON’T RESPOND TO THREATS.
The crowd cheers loudly as Marvin throws a fit on the outside.
President Jeff: HOWEVER! I am out to prove that there is NO Corruption in the APW, contrary to very popular belief. And since the two of you seem destined to break every single rule in the book on the way to RUINING this match….I’m just going to take them all away.
Harvey: What? What does that mean?
President Jeff: This match WILL continue….with NO DISQUALIFICATIONS!
Test for the Best 1st Round Match Terry Marvin vs. Michael Harris – No Disqualifications
The crowd goes crazy as Both Marvin and Harris look at the steel chair in the ring and roll in after it. Terry reaches it first and picks it up. Harris is quick to dropkick the chair right into Marvin’s head. Marvin drops the chair and stumbles right into Harris who hits a BIG Double A spinebuster. Harris is back to his feet and waits for Marvin to get to his head. He then explodes with a superkick right to Marvin’s throat. He makes a quick cover on him.
. 1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT
Harris pulls Marvin up again and hits a stalling brainbuster. He stomps away at Marvin and drops a couple knees across his chest and head. He then goes to the turnbuckle and climbs to the top. Marvin rises and Harris launches hitting him with a Diving Spear. He covers again.
1 . . . 2 . . KICKOUT.
Chase: WHOO, that was extremely close. The Overdrive Champion almost fell to the man who failed at winning the Xtreme Belt not once but twice.
Harvey: It’s not over yet, Harris has a nasty look in his eyes.
Harris pounds the mat in frustration. He calls for the Harris Effect. He grabs Marvin and sets him up. But Marvin manages to roll out of it, grabs Harris and HITS A SIDE EFECT!
Chase: YES!!!! That’s more like it. Now it’s time for the Champion to deliver a wrestling lesson. .
Marvin runs over and KICKs Harris in the head hard. He stomps away on his throat until the referee pulls him off. Marvin then seeths at the mouth as he holds his back and head suffering the effects from Harris’ assult. He drops a Knee across Harris’ shoulder, then grabs his left arm and pulls up on it in a modified arm bar. Harris screams in pain but manages to get to the ropes. The ref counts to four before Marvin lets go of the hold… stands up and kicks his arm HARD. He yanks him up by the Arm. He wrenches it and hops up to the top rope and leaps off toward the outside, yanking Harris’s shoulder down on the rope and sending him to the ground writhing in pain. Marvin quickly rolls back in and hits a SINGLE ARM DDT! He makes a cover.
1 . . . 2 . . KICKOUT!
Marvin pulls him up, puts Harris in a hammer lock, hooks him and drops him with a modified version of the YOUR CANCELLED. Harris’s arm hangs limply. Marvin covers.
1 . . . 2 . . . KICKOUT.
Chase: Marvin so close to putting this thing away and moving on to the Test for the BEST PPV.
Harvey: Harris’ arm does not look good! I’m pretty sure it may be broken!
Marvin stalks Harris as he gets to his feet. He Grabs the arm and is going for the Show’s Over Crossface. Before he can get it locked in, here comes Carmen Rivera…. But Marvin sees her coming and catches her immediately, pulling back on her hair and screaming at her. Here comes Harris charging at him but Marvin Recovers and tosses him out of the ring. Carmen slaps him hard in the face. Then again. He just laughs saying he’s not going to hit a girl until SHE SPITS IN HIS FACE. The crowd cheers loudly, but the cheers soon turn to boos as Terry grabs her and DROPS HER WITH A QUICK WHIPLASH!
Harvey: OH COME ON! That is uncalled for here! She didn’t deserve that!!!
Chase: Of course she does. She inserted herself in this match and she deserves EVERYTHING SHE GETS!
While the parametics run out to check on Carmen, Harris is right in the ring and rolls Marvin up.
Harris grabs the ropes right in front of the ref who can’t do anything about it.
1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . . . . . . THRE – NO!
Marvin manages to roll the shoulder up at the last second. Harris grabs Marvin as he rises, but Marvin shoves him into the corner and hits a HARD superkick RIGHT to the shoulder. Harris stumbles till Marvin grabs him with the SHOWS OVER CROSSFACE! Marvin has it locked in, and there is nothing Harris can do about it. Harris manages to get to the ropes with his feet to cheers from the crowd, but The ref doesn’t call for the break this being a no DQ match. Marvin pulls back on that injured Shoulder and Harris has NO CHOICE but to Tap out!
DING DING DING!
Winner: Terry Marvin Paige: Winner of this match by SUBMISSION… The Real Show Terry Marvin.Chase: THAT’S IT! Marvin moves on and my pick to win the TEST FOR THE BEST is alive and kicking. Harvey: Yes, but he did it in HARDLY convincing fashion in this messy, messy MATCH.Overdrive goes to commercial

Paige: The following contest is a Six-Man Tag Team Match scheduled for one fall, and is your APW Overdrive Main Event! The fans cheer loudly, but the cheers soon turn to boos as "The World is Not Enough" begins to play as the lights go dark and white spotlights flash around the arena. Stan Everdeen steps out onto the stage, accompanied by Biggs, and a single spotlight focuses on him as he glares out at the crowd from behind his shades. Paige: Making his way to the ring first, accompanied by Biggs, weighing in at 265 pounds, from Tampa, Florida, “Stunning” Stan Everdeen!Harvey: “Stunning” Stan is a replacement for Biggs in tonight's contest, although the reasons for which are quite muddled. If you talk to Biggs, it's because apparently he's too good to have his return on anything but pay per view, but according to his wife, Ellie, Biggs isn't actually cleared to compete yet!Chase: I think it's definitely the former, and not the latter! Biggs is ready to go, but he's right, he shouldn't have to share the spotlight in his return match! As the chorus starts, he tosses off his jacket, and heads down the ramp, flexing and showing off his physique as he goes along, hitting on the women as he does so. As they reach the ring, Biggs holds the ropes open for Stan as he steps through, and he heads to the center of the ring, with the spotlight still focused on him, and flexes again. The music dies down as the lights come back on. Stan hands his shades and bow-tie to Biggs before heading towards the corner to stretch for the match. #SIMPLY F'N PUT! A recorded voice comes over the loud speaker and "Smoke on the Water" by Deep Purple blasts over the PA. Johnny Rebel comes out in a gold robe shimmering in the lights. "SIMPLY PUT" is written in silver on the back. His blonde goatee is neatly trimmed and blonde hair is freshly cut; his eyes hidden behind dark sunglasses. Paige: And his partners, first, weighing in at 234 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois, he is one half of the APW Tag Team Champions, “Simply Put” Johnny Rebel!Harvey: The Sindicate has been on a absolute tear through APW every since they formed, and a big part of that is Johnny Rebel!Chase: A lot of folks knock Rebel for not winning the big one, but I'm confident that it's not a matter of if, but when he'll hold the top prize here in APW!#IT'S TIME TO PRAY THE PRICE! The crowd has come unglued in their hatred for Rebel. He gets to the ring and pulls a camera man down to the ground and on all fours as Rebel uses him as a stepping stone to get in the ring. He takes off his robe to reveal his gold tights and tasseled white boots, as well as one of the APW Tag Team Title Belts. He poses on the second turnbuckle with both hands held high. Put You On Game- By Lupe Fiasco blasts the PA system, as Level-One steps up on-top of the ramp. Red smoke swirls beneath him, and a string of red and blue pyro shoots up into the air he raises his APW Tag Team Championship belt high in the air. Paige: And their partner, weighing in at 273 pounds, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada, he is the other half of the APW Tag Team Champions, Level-One!Chase: Have you ever seen such a dominating trio of Mega Stars assembled!? We know that the Sindicate are a great team, and considering that Stan Everdeen is a tag team specialist, well, my money has to be on these guys!Harvey: Smart money rarely ever bets against Level-One, no matter what the match is!Level-One puts his title on his shoulder and slowly begins to walk down the ramp, being booed loudly by the crowd. Level-One stops before eying down a fan, mocking the fan in the process. Level-One turns, and climbs up onto the apron. He climbs up turn-buckle, hoisting his title high in the air. Level-One hops down, and awaits for the fight in-front of him. Both J-Reb and Level-One give Biggs dirty looks as he stands on the outside, mockingly clapping for them. Stan extends his hand out for handshakes, but the Sindicate just ignore him, mounting the turnbuckles again and raising their titles high in the air once more! Harvey: I think we're seeing some dissension in the ranks here!Chase: They'll work it out before the match!Get up, get down, lose that sound … Drop the Bass! The lights in the arena are down as the opening beat of Cinema hit’s the dark arena as Chris Hart emerges from the back with pink laser lights flashing all around the arena. The pulsing beat and laser lights show continue as he walks down the ring and slides into the ring. Going to the far corner, Chris climbs the turnbuckle and throws one arm up in the air and looks out at the cheering crowd. Paige: And their opponents, first, weighing in at 190 pounds, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Chris Hart!Harvey: A reoccurring knock against Hart that we heard this week from his opponents is that he's the odd man out in this equation of Main Event level Mega Stars. I think they're wrong! Chris Hart deserves to be here!Chase: He's still a pretty boy...Chris flips off the rope and stares down his opponent, waiting for the bell to start the match. “Shooting Star” by Black Stone Cherry begins to play as the fans cheer loudly. C.J. Gates quickly makes his way out of the back wearing his trademark cowboy hat and his“Go Big or Go Home” T-shirt. He bounces around at the entrance a bit before moving towards the ring, bouncing to the beat. Paige: And his partners, first, weighing in at 215 pounds, from Fargo, North Dakota, C.J. Gates!Chase: You were talking about how there was dissension amongst the Sindicate and Stan Everdeen, but I think there's got to be just as much on the other side of the ring, if not more! C.J. Gates himself said that he doesn't trust Kurt Noble, and called Chris Hart Kurt's little lap dog!Harvey: You're right. The bonds holding either of these two teams together are tumultuous at best!Gates reaches the ring and slides in under the bottom rope before springing to his feet and climbing the nearest turnbuckle. He looks out at the fans before he raises his arms up in the air to a loud chorus of cheers from the fans. He climbs back down and removes his cowboy hat and carefully hands it off, before removing his t-shirt. The lights in the arena shut off, as the chorus to "Labrinth" blasts through the speakers. After a few moments, out steps Kurt Noble, eliciting a huge cheer from the crowd! Noble raises the APW Undisputed Championship into the air, and begins to limp down to the ring. Paige: And their partner, weighing in at 235 pounds, from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, he is the APW Undisputed Champion, Kurt Noble!Harvey: Just listen to the ovation the champion is receiving here in Philadelphia! The Philly fans appreciate great wrestling, and Kurt gives them just that!Chase: You know what I want to see? I want to see Kurt Noble and C.J. Gates pick a fight with each other here tonight!Harvey: You just want to see that happen so that the team you're rooting for will win!Chase: I'll be honest, you're right!Upon reaching it, Noble slowly walks up the stairs to the ring. He enters the ring, and climbs up on the turnbuckle, posing with the Undisputed title in the air as the cameras go off. Noble moves off it, as the lights return to normal and the music dies down. All six men glare at one another, with Kurt getting a brunt of the dirty looks. Finally, Level-One, Stan Everdeen, Kurt Noble and Chris Hart make their way to their respective corners, and the ref calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Kurt Noble, C.J. Gates, & Chris Hart vs. The Sindicate & Stan Everdeen
C.J. and Rebel start off the match by circling the ring a bit before tying up! Rebel tries to utilize his strength advantage to pull C.J. in, but Gates uses his speed to quickly get behind the tag champ. From behind him, Gates quickly throws a Spinning Heel Kick, which nails Rebel in the back of the head! Rebel stumbles a bit and falls face first into the ropes, getting caught up on the middle one! C.J. is quick to run up and go for a Short Cross Body, nailing Rebel in the back! C.J. pulls Rebel up by the head and goes to whip him into the opposite ropes, but Rebel reverses it, catching C.J. between the eyes with a Double Axe-Handle Smash, taking him off of his feet! Rebel is quick stomp his downed opponent, hoping to ground the high flier by just suffocating him with boots. He pulls C.J. up by the head and drags him by the head to his corner, ramming his head into the turnbuckle while tagging in Level-One!
Harvey: C.J. looks to be in trouble early, as it looks like the Sindicate intends to isolate him from the rest of his team and work him over!
Chase: That's tag team wrestling 101 right there!
Level-One is quick to enter the ring, and he and Rebel give C.J. some hard shots to the back, absolutely clubbing the living daylights out of him! Rebel leaves the ring at the count of four, raising his hands to claim innocence as Level-One continues to beat down C.J. from behind. He holds his hand up, and Stan tags himself in, climbing the turnbuckle from the outside. Level-One shoves C.J. up to the top rope, allowing Stan to hoist him up into a Power bomb position, and Stan just tosses C.J. to the mat with a vicious Top Rope Release Powerbomb! Stan follows up with a Body Splash from the top and hooks the leg, 1 . . . 2 . . . C.J. rolls his shoulder up! Stan gives him a few punches to the side of the head before going for another cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Another kick out from C.J.!
Harvey: It's going to take more than that to put C.J. Gates away!
Stan pulls C.J. up by the head and drags him to the corner. Stan climbs up the turnbuckle while keeping a hold of C.J.'s arm, calling for Level-One to tag himself back in. Level-One lifts C.J. up again so that Stan can get him in a Powerbomb position on the top once more, but this time, C.J. counters with a Hurricanrana off the top, sending Stan crashing into the mat! Level-One is right on him, though, attacking C.J. with vicious knees and elbows as he makes his way up!
Chase: Level-One is just like a pitbull! Gates pulled off that impressive Hurricanrana, but it wasn't on the legal man, and Level-One was right there to make him pay for it!
Level-One continues to beat down on C.J. as he gets back to a vertical base, and he gives C.J. a couple of hard shots to the face before whipping him into the ropes! C.J. ducks the attempted clothesline, and springs off the opposite ropes, catching Level-One with a Springboard Crossbody! C.J. is starting to gain momentum, and he pops up, running to the ropes and catching Level-One with the Shining Wizard as he tries to get up! Gates goes for the cover, 1 . . . Lester kicks out! C.J. doesn't try to press his luck, and despite his disdain for his partners, he heads over to his corner to tag in Kurt Noble! Level-One is to his feet as Noble enters the ring, and the fans are to their feet as both men begin to throw hard shots at one another, Noble eventually getting the advantage!
Harvey: These two went at it in our Main Event two weeks ago, and it looks like they're going to pick up right where they left off!
Chase: That was some match, which Kurt won by DQ due to Johnny Rebel's interference. But that won't be an issue this week, because Rebel's a part of the match!
Noble uses the opening to get behind Level-One and pull him over with a German Suplex! As both men get back up, Noble grabs him for another German Suplex! As they come up once more, Kurt gets in front of Level-One and delivers an Overhead Belly to Belly, going for a cover after the last Suplex, 1 . . . 2 . . . Kick Out from Level-One! With Lester still down, Noble rolls him onto his belly, and grabs a hold of his legs, going for the Cross Legged STF! Rebel and Stan are in there quick to break it up, which prompts C.J. and Chris Hart to enter the ring as well! Both Gates and Hart catch Stan and Johnny with Running Hurrincanranas, sending the bad guys through the ropes to the floor! The fans are cheering loudly as C.J. motions to Hart and Hart nods back, and as Stan and Rebel make their way back up to their feet, C.J. and Chris get running starts and pull off tandem Suicide Dives through the ropes, taking them back down!
Harvey: Even though C.J. and Hart don't see eye to eye normally, they're able to wow the fans with that!
By this point, Level-One has exited the ring, and Noble goes over to the ropes, grabbing the top rope and teasing a Plancha of his own, but Level-One quickly scurries out of the way, and Kurt just laughs at him, pointing to his knee and yelling out, ”Fooled ya!” before quickly rolling under the ropes and joining Level-One outside the ring! The two meet up and get right back to fisticuffs as the ref begins the mandatory 10 count! Level-One gets the advantage on the outside and bounces Noble's face off the barricade, stunning him long enough for L1 to pull off the Orton Back Breaker on the outside! The ref is to six as Level-One runs back into the ring, and distracts the ref, acting like he's got something in his eye! Hart, Gates, Rebel, and Stan are on the opposite side of the ring, with C.J. and Hart making their way back onto the apron while Rebel and Stan are still recovering. This leaves just Biggs with Kurt Noble, and while Level-One maintains the ref's attention and Kurt uses the barricade to pull himself back up, Biggs runs in and gives him a sharp Chop Block to the bad knee of Kurt Noble! The fans boo loudly and C.J. and Hart try to point out to the ref what's being done, but Biggs just throws his hands up, feigning innocence! The ref motions for Biggs to back away from Noble, and he does so, turning his back on him while he does so. Level-One exits the ring and pulls Noble back up, rolling him into the ring before sliding in himself. Level-One focuses his attack on Noble's leg, stomping the knee joint repeatedly before dragging him towards the hostile corner! Lester positions himself between Kurt and the corner before turning Noble over into a Boston Crab!
Harvey: What a vicious maneuver by Level-One! He's racking the knee of Kurt Noble!
Chase: And look at the expert ring positioning from Level-One here! There's no possible way for Kurt to have a further trip towards his corner than he has now, and since Level-One is so close to his corner, if C.J. and Hart try to come in to break it up, Johnny Rebel and “Stunning” Stan will have no trouble cutting them off!
C.J. and Chris Hart look on nervously from the apron, while Lester continues to torque the knee joints and lower back of Kurt! The fans are clapping in unison to try and will their hero on, but as Kurt tries to push himself up, Stan uses his long arms to tag himself in and quickly steps in, giving Kurt a Standing Elbow Drop to the back of the head as Level-One waits until the count of four to let go of the hold and exit the ring! Stan keeps with the theme of focusing on Kurt's leg, applying a Grapevine Leg Lock. As the ref gets down to one knee to check to see if Kurt wants to give up, Stan reaches up with his free arm to grab a hold of the Rebel's hand, gaining even more leverage on the hold! The fans are booing loudly, but whenever the ref looks up, Stan and Rebel let go, and the ref doesn't catch them! C.J. and Chris are crying foul on the apron, but since the ref doesn't see it, he can't enforce it! He checks on Noble again, and again, Rebel reaches out to grab Stan's hand, drawing more boos from the crowd! Finally, C.J. and Hart have had enough, and they both enter the ring! However, the ref responds by going over to try and restrain them, which only exacerbates Kurt's problem, allowing Stan and J-Reb to cheat even more! As Gates and Hart finally begrudgingly exit the ring, the ref turns around to catch Stan and Rebel in the act, and orders them to let go! They let go of each others hands, but Stan keeps the leg lock on, despite the ref telling him to release the hold! The ref begins the five count, and Stan lets go on four!
Chase: “Stunning” Stan better be careful to not get his team disqualified here!
Harvey: Kurt's in a bad way right now!
Stan is up to his feet, attacking Kurt's knew with some more vicious stomps before he pulls him up and tosses him right into the corner. He makes a tag to Rebel, who also makes a quick tag to Level-One. The three set Kurt up on the top rope and Rebel follows up, hooking him in position for the Superpose. Stan and L1 get J-Reb on their shoulders, and they all fall backwards, drilling Kurt into the mat! Level-One is up in a flash, mounting Kurt and beating him some more as his partners exit the ring. L1 pulls Kurt up and takes him back into the corner, tagging Rebel back in. The Sindicate and Stan keep up the tactic of quick tags, double teaming Kurt in the corner, and tagging in a new man at the count of four, to keep reseting the count. This goes on for the better part of a minute, until Johnny Rebel yanks Kurt out of the corner, giving him a Snap Suplex! He goes for a cover, 1 . . . Kick out from Noble!
Harvey: Kurt Noble desperately needs to make a tag. I don't know how much longer he can withstand the kind of assualt he's been receiving from the Sindicate and “Stunning” Stan Everdeen here tonight!
Chase: Like I said earlier, this is tag team wrestling 101. They've successfully isolated Kurt Noble, and if they can maintain this, they'll achieve victory for sure!
Rebel continues to wear down Noble, mounting him and punching him right in the mouth again and again! He then rolls Kurt over, and applies a Chin Lock! On the apron, Chris Hart begins to clap, prompting the fans to join in, trying to will Kurt Noble on! While J-Reb rides the Chin Lock, Noble begins to push himself up. Johnny realizes that Kurt's getting a second wind, and he releases the hold, clubbing Kurt right in the back of the head, sending him back down to mat! The fans boo loudly as Johnny goes right back to the Chin Lock, mocking Kurt as he does so! He has a satisfied grin on his face and leans back further, torquing the back even more! Kurt grits his teeth and digs down deep, and pushes himself up, with Rebel still on his back! Once he reaches a vertical base, Kurt falls straight back, sending Rebel into the mat! The fans explode with cheers as both men begin to crawl to their respective corners!
Harvey: Kurt needs to make the tag here!
Chase: This could be the turning point of the match! If Johnny can get his corner first and they cut Kurt off, then it's only a matter of time before they defeat him. But if Kurt can make it to his corner, then it essentially resets the match!
The fans are on their feet, chanting “KURT! KURT! KURT! KURT!” as he makes his way to his corner. Johnny Rebel makes the tag to “Stunning” Stan right as Kurt makes the hot tag to Chris Hart! Hart is in like a house of fire, and he runs up, taking Stan down with a Running Crossbody Block! As Stan is up, he gets taken over with a deep Arm Drag! Stan is back up, only to receive another Arm Drag! As Stan is up again, Hart nails him with a quick combination of punches and kicks before running towards the ropes and jumping up to nail him with the Busaiku Knee Kick! Stan is dazed, which allows Chris to pull him up, hook his head in a ¾ headlock, and run up the ropes to deliver the Hart Attack! Biggs is pissed off on the outside as Hart hooks both legs, 1 . . . 2 . . . Biggs reaches up and puts Stan's foot on the ropes! The ref sees the foot and stops the count! The fans boo, but C.J. runs on the apron and leaps off, taking Biggs down with a Flying Tackle! He begins to beat the living daylights out of his opponent for Test for the Best, and the fans are cheering wildly!
Chase: The ref needs to get in there and stop this! Biggs is not a participant of this match! C.J. should not be able to get away with attacking him like this!
Harvey: The same thing could be said for Biggs putting Stan's foot on the rope! He stuck his nose in this match, and now he's paying for it!
The Sindicate and Kurt Noble hop off the apron to join in the brawl at ringside! Inside the ring, Chris Hart motions for Stan to get back up, and when he does, Hart grabs a hold of his head again, running up the ropes and going for another Hart Attack! However, Stan counters as Hart is in mid-air, tossing him hard into the corner, causing him to get crotched on the top turnbuckle! Hart cries out in pain as Stan pulls him off of the top turnbuckle and pulls him in position for a Powerbomb, delivering the Powerbomb of Manliness! He makes the cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING!
Winners: Level-One, Johnny Rebel, and “Stunning” Stan Everdeen Paige: Here are your winners, by pinfall, “Stunning” Stan Everdeen, Johnny Rebel, and Level-One!Level-One grabs a hold of Kurt and tosses him head first into the barricade, while J-Reb gives C.J. a shot to the jollies! They help Biggs up and roll him into the ring as Stan get's his hand raised by the ref. “The World is Not Enough” blares over the speakers as the Sindicate gets their arms raised as well, and they just glare at Biggs and Stan before leaving the ring and heading up the ramp. Biggs and Stan just shrug them off, and begin to celebrate, glad-handing it in the ring. Chase: I don't think the Sindicate has resolved any of their issues with Biggs here tonight, but they were able to coopoerate with Stan long enough for their team to get the win!Harvey: I can't say that I'm too happy with the result, but to quote former APW Mega Star Captain Klapton, it is what it is. Well folks, that's all the time we have for tonight! We'll see you next week for the final Overdrive before Test for the Best! See you then!
