I don't know what happened with the weird lettering. For pretty much every seg I recieved for this show, they replaced punctuations marks with a question mark in a diamond. I went through and corrected all of them, but there must be something funky going on with the boards.

I'll admit I skimmed the show, but a few things stood out to me:
-A few upsets. Farq beating Bailey and Chaz beating Callahan being the big ones that stood out to me, especially with Callahan being a favorite to win everything. I guess it goes to show just how crazy stacked the talent is on Asylum. People keep saying that Overdrive is tough, looking at Asylum, it's right on par, based on the toughness factor.
-Atken vs. Knuckles. I've wanted Atken to do something for awhile, and I like how the two of you took a tournament meeting and turned it into something bigger then just a knock out match. Well done on that front.
-I can see where Ingram getting the match against Callahan might seem odd, but since Callahan interfered and cost him his shot, it's kind like a redemption match, and since Reginald was playing on the TRI being involved when they shouldn't, it's almost like punishing Callahan for showing his face. Definitely some things to play off of in regards to RPs.
-Props to Mike Morrison. Definitely showing that he's got what it takes to hang with some of the best.
-SEXY TURKEY!
Congratulations to all the winners, and to the losers, I'm damn sure that it was some close voting on the winners. Everything is gearing up to make Asylum's participation on T4TB awesome.

First off, Congrats to Farquhar. A very fitting belt to the character, possibly the only Clean belt on Asylum. I think Bailey will be tough but I have a game plan and am ready for T4TB.
After talking with Jeff and realizing that there has been 3 Cage Matches this year alone. That kind of kills the match being made for Kash/Bailey. Maybe an updated announcement can be made to make the proper change. I'm sure Jeff and Biggs can discuss things and make something creative. Unless they go forward with the Cage and then I guess we'll do that.
Knuckles picking up a big win, good stuff. I'm sort of thinking Callahan laid down for his match with Chaz. Knowing what I know of Chaz, it's a surprise he is winning this and moving forward. Maybe storyline on this one, still surprising.
Ingram is cool but he can't touch Callahan but it could be an interesting attempt. That is for sure...
Overall a damn good show outside of the weird words and grammar spots. Funny forums!

I don't know if it's the nature of this time of year and with T4TB going on but this did feel like a mid-cycle show rather than a go-home one (that said I didn't even register it was the last Asylum before T4TB until a few days ago). I'm not saying it was a bad show, just not as good as some go-homers we've had in the past.
Anyway, here is my rundown.
- Opening segment. It was so cheesy, but I won't deny that I laughed out loud when I read that Knuckles/Tarzan spot. I wasn't surprised that its Bailey challenging Kash at T4TB, but I was a little surprised at the sudden violent direction this one took and the stipulation. Maybe it was the short turnaround that forced it, with no build something needed to be done to hype it. Anyway, this is a going to a very good Asylum main event at T4TB. Bailey offers a different kind of challenge to what Kash has faced this year.
- Ingram. Good to see Caine/Ingram putting in the hard yards to put his character over. The good thing about a segment like this is that for those, like me, who don't get around to reading every roleplay every week it tells you who Calvin Ingram is and what he is about, and therefore draws you to his RPs if it takes your fancy. I like also that there hasn't been a total split with the Caine character; there is still enough Donovan Caine in Calvin Ingram to make the transition coherent and believable. Good job!
- Chaz winning the BR no surprise, especially with Ingram still finding his feet and two no-shows. The T.R.I. interference was a nice link to what came later, and the post-match promo was a good way to sell the match later in the show.
- Atken/Knuckles. Simply brilliant. So glad to see Atken back full time (I think a re-match some time is in order), and this segment did a great job of making Atken a threat.
- Bailey/Sally. When are these two going to start making out? I always like these tidbits on every Asylum. Sally is a terrible flirt, ha!
- Mike Morrison giving Takagi the treatment. I take it Takagi no-showed, so this makes sense. Morrison quietly going about his business; if he hits form he will be the Asylum dark horse at T4TB.
- Sally beats Sykes. It's looking like T4TB may just be Sally's night of redemption, and her WT re-match has been long overdue.
-Knuckles beats Atken. Nevertheless, having read his RPs this week and with his segment Atken put in a really strong showing this week. I hope he keeps it up because he is an asset to the roster.
-Chaz beating Callahan would ordinarily be considered a shock. Callahan's RPs this week were definitely below par (for him), not sure if that is RL or storyline reasons, but it is what it is, I'm sure he will be back quicker than a rat up a drainpipe. Well done to Chaz for taking the opportunity and good luck at T4TB.
-I love these PPV hype segments that Biggs does. Good rundown.
-Main Event. Firstly, thanks to Anthony Bailey for the kind words. I didn't really consider this possibility, I just thought it was my job this week to give Bailey a stern test and give him a credible defense ahead of sterner challenges.
Cheers to Kash for the write-up, capturing The Farq well, and for including Manservant. Would have liked one or two spots including signature moves of both men, but I'm probably just being a bit pedantic there.
The only real drag were the no-shows, but I assume there will be a roster review after T4TB with some of those slackers moving down, and one or two hard-workers from Meltdown being offered promotion.

Chaz definitely earned his stripes this week. Well done mate.

First off, I'd like to start by publicly congratulating Farquhar on his title win. Losing to a worthy opponent who stepped it up and pulled out some heavy punches this past week is nothing to be ashamed of. Around the time I first started here Johnny Rebel told me that I should consider feuding with Farquhar and now I can see why. The guy is amazing and his RP's were very entertaining. So once again, congratulations my brother.
Plus Farquhar's show rundowns are always so in depth and detailed. I always enjoy reading them.
I love the new direction of Chip Ingram. As Caine, he never really found his place but now, he's getting put against the likes of Michael Callahan, one of Asylum's greatest talents ever. He's obviously doing something right and my advice to him would be to keep doing what he's doing. But he's going to have to really raise the bar to a whole new level if he wants to become the next Pro Life Champion.
Dillinger winning definitely caught me by surprise because outside of a few people on Asylum, everybody is an underdog when facing Callahan. I didn't read his or Callahan's RP's this week so I will go back and do so but it seems like Dillinger is beginning to get the long awaited shine that he deserves. And rightfully so because the guy is extremely talented.
So who's ready for AB and ST to become APW's next top couple? lol. Once again, hats off to Sally for always coming through on the segments. It's all her folks and she impresses me each and everytime with them. They are a good balance of mentorship with subtle undertones of harmless flirting. Congrats to her on the win too. Sykes, you have nothing to be ashamed of bro. Winning is always great (That's why we all work so hard to come up 2,000 entertaining words for our RP''s) but Sally is one tough cookie.
Sucks that Takagi no showed, but real life situtations happen that we can't plan for at times. I hope all is well with him.
Good to see Knuckles redeem himself after that horribly failed Tarzan tidbit during the opening segment lol. Knuckles is the silent threat on Asylum hands down.
And Kash, your matches are always great. I like the fact that they aren't predictable and keep the reader engaged from start to finish.
Well that's about all folks. Now I must go lock myself away in my imaginary labratory and start brainstorming on how to put away Kash at T4TB.

MEIN OWN THOUGHTS FROM MY HEAD:
- Kash and Bailey got pretty violent very quickly. It was so much a gradual ramp up between the two as launch from 0 to 100. Knuckles appearance is a funny one in both ways you could read that. It's quite the change from Knuckles during the rest of the show. It's kind of hard to get a read on Knuckles sometimes with how quickly he changes around but hey, it's his strength.
- Bailey and Kash will be a great match for T4TB and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all pans out. I didn't realise this was our pre-T4TB show until reading through the show so I kind of understand why the booking felt a little rushed on Bailey/Kash's feud ramping up. Should still be an excellent match though.
- Ingram is an odd duck in a way, some of the narration felt more suited to an RP than an on-show type thing although I could be being entirely hypocritical here because I've been known to play about with narration. There's certainly an edge to the guy though and I think that once Ingram finds his feet he'll start picking up some well deserved victories. I think there does need to be a little bit of a clear up on what the war is though, still seems muddled there. Once that's done, we're swinging.
- Good win for Dillinger, it's a shame about the no shows but sometimes that's just what happens in this thar hobby of ours. Ingram deserved to look strong in the bout, he really put a lot of effort into his RPs this week, Dillinger did too. Especially considering the tricky circumstances. This match was fair to all.
- The TRI powers kinda explode! BUT MAYBE NOT! I really enjoy the TRI gimmick at the moment, it's really a far more powerful version of what I was arsing around with back at Survive and Conquer and done a lot better to boot.
- Happy with the segment between me and Knuckles. Knuckles hit me up when we found out we were booked up against each other and said he wanted to make sure the match was to both our benefits. I think we both put in strong RP efforts and really enjoyed working with him, it was good to really give the match itself more meaning and background as well. Phil got to prove he's not a push-over when he has a manbeast to hold back his enemy.
I got a bad cold over the weekend so I think some of my stuff RP wise and on show may have needed a bit more of a tidy but I was trying to make sure I didn't let down Knuckles effort wise and pretty much collapsed asleep after finishing up stuff so just fired it away.
- Bailey and Sally sitting in a tree. With everyone running around attacking or hating each other it's pretty cool to see two characters who actually like each other. It's almost unique in this day and age.
- Sykes has a great energy to him. He's been really strong on Asylum since his debut and even with the loss later in the night, I don't think that's gonna derail him for too long.
- Shame there was another no show on the card but a great win for Morrison. The guy is a workhorse just hiding out on the Asylum RPs boards, I agree with others that he's certainly worth a punt to take the whole T4TB as stacked as it is.
- If Morrison is a dark horse, Sally is certainly a front runner. Big win here over Sykes and I look forward to seeing how she does on the PPV.
- As I said earlier in the week, I really do heart me some Farquey. There's a great relationship between Julius and Reggie and clearly Reggie has a thing for Farq getting dressed all sexily. In terms of pure character, I'd have to say Farq is the best character on the brand.
- Gutted to be out of the tournament but I hardly say I was surprised. Great job by Knuckles who justly got his revenge by completely destroying Atken. Poor guy was just at a loss without backup.
- Big surprise win here, Callahan has been a top contender on the show since his debut. That's not to take anything away from Dillinger though. Think it's a bit unfair for Kash to say this must've been storyline, Chaz worked hard on his RPs this week from what I saw and Callahan due to exams and what not just couldn't push himself over the top on this one. Certainly changes my and I'm sure others predictions for the PPV.
- Have to agree with Farq, Biggs does a great hype job for the PPV. Given Callahan is out of T4TB, it'll be interesting to see how the bout between Ingram and Callahan. Shame it couldn't have been built more but that was just the time frame and unique situation we were under. Atken will be watching the PPV in his pants while eating cereal.
- Awesome to see a title finally around Farq's waist. Not to take anything away from Bailey, as for him he's almost onwards and upwards with his WHC shot at the PPV. Still I think Farq himself may have done himself out of title glory a few times now because he wished to feud with idiots like moi and it's great to see him finally get some gold on Asylum. Even doing so while dressed as the sexiest of turkeys.
Overall, I think if we had an extra show before the PPV we would've had some excellent build for some of the matches that may be slightly lacking now.
Matches were great, everyone done a spiffy job. Good show.

@atkens:
I said that because I've talked with Chaz and from what he's said, I had reasons for saying it. I wasn't at all meaning it as a shit on the lips diss...
@the Farq:
Kash/Bailey has been more than built up over the last two PPVs. He beat Kash before Meltdown. Kash talked to Reginald and gave Bailey the FIRST Title shot on Asylum after Meltdown. That match got crashed after they had some major spots against one another. So the segment involving Brawling (and Knuckles!) was more both of them being fed up with each other and ready to clear the air as to who deserves the spot on Asylum.
I think we've built it up slowly but on Asylum, things tend to go a bit slower...

I'm just going to leave a little comment here that I was really, really impressed with the work on the show. I've not followed Asylum as much as I should have however I was extremely entertained by this show heading into Test for the Best after reading the feedback to get caught up on what I've missed. I think there's going to be some stellar matches on that card but I also thinking heading forward there's some pretty damn good story progression. I like the idea of Ingram vs. Callahan for a period of time as opposed to a one shot given the parallel's of the characters, in addition to a sustainable Kash vs. Bailey feud - with potential cameo's from Ms. Talfourd as well.
All in all keep up the good work.
