The Direction of APW. Please ALL READ AND REPLY

So Today I decided to take some of my long term future plans that I have for APW and write them down on paper, and then I figured that I would let you all know what my plans are and to show you guys just how serious I am about APW and that I'm in this for the long haul. Considering this is my last effort in the efedding world, I want to go out with a bang. So If I can get everyone's honest feedback on all of this, I don't care if you don't like an idea, let me know. It be much apprecated.

Now in no particular order.


1. I'd like to grow APW to the point that I'd need to start up another brand. Even 3 or 4. Maybe having one of a development brand, but more on that in a bit. This would require people to come the GM of the new Brands. Have full control of their roster, book matches, do up results and all that stuff.

2. Getting more staff members. Tis would only take effect if we can get more brands and the staff would have specific jobs like Match Voters, Match writers and whatever else. Each Brand would have its own set of Staff to help the GM out.

3. Phate is currently working on a website for APW, but eventually, I want it have to look like something massive, giving people the wow factor. And eventually getting our own domain name. And with the website, have it updated daily with news around the fed. Could be someone getting released or just made up stuff of a wrestler at an autograph signing. Maybe some Rumors as well. Is something that who ever is in charge of, can work with other wrestlers to make realistic news so people will want to come to the site daily, even hourly to see any news that may be going on

4. I like to see more activity on the boards. More discussion. Just make the boards look alive. If people see lots of post coming in daily, it makes the fed look alive and more people may join. I'm not sure how to go about doing that, but any ideas on what you guys would like on the boards that would make you guys come here all the time to have some funm let me know

5. Something I was thinking of the other day was affiliating us with a Wrestling News site. I know this one site where people write articles and reviews and stuff like that. Having an efed affiliated with something like that, one column about APW, what it is, what is efedding. It might get people interested and curious. Because as many efeddrs as there are out there, there's millions more who don't know what is it. And with that, those curious people would automatically check out APW. Which bring me to my next goal

6. Develoment brand. This is where the noobs/rookies of APW would first go to learn the ropes and what not. Eventually being called up the main Roster. This way, a noob won't end up fighting someone who's been efedding for 10 years and gonna get his ass kicked. One thing about efedding, if your new to it and you join a fed and you keep losing, chances are your gonna stop playing. Development brand would give that person wins and loses.

7. Increasing RP limits. People may not be joining APW cause they don't like the whole Limit thing to RP's. The Limit is mainly for the busy people who want to RP but don't have time to do more than 1 or 2 a week. But, If we can get more brands, maybe have one of the brands do a 3 RP limit weekly. Or maybe even a no RP limit. The development brand I think would work best with a no RP limit.

8. This one is more for myself. To make better video's. The video's now I know are good for what we're doing, but I'd like to make them better some how. Its hard when you can't have every clip that you want, or the clip that you want doesn't exist, but its something I want to work on. And if anyone want to make any video's for anything, be my guest.

9. Monthly APW Magazine. Right now its like 1 every 3 months or so. Mainly to keep the magazine fresh and not stale. But Monthly PPV would come obviously if the fed grows big with mroe brands and wrestlers. More people ='s more articles/


That's all for now. I think if we can pull a lot of these idea's off and make this fed huge, it could eliminate the non consistant RPers, meaning, the "A" show would pretty much have everyone RP, no no shows, everyone should show up for PPV's. Non consistant people would drop to a "B" show and someone from a lower show could take their spot.

I want this to be bigger than anyone has ever imagined. I want everything to look professional and as realistic as it can get. I want to make something so special that people are going to see APW and think "I need to be a part of this." I want people to see APW and be like "Wow, I never expected an efed to be something like this."


I been efedding for 7 years, and some of you guys have been doing it with me from the beginning and the stuff I'm doing here, detailed weekly results posted on time that's better than most feds PPV results. PPV results that could pass as a Wrestlemania type PPV every month. Video's, Realistic Magazine and other stuff, I never experience that in my career. I always thought it be cool to see video's, or better articles or read have my match written out every week. Nothing frusterates a writer more in efedding than spending a long time on an RP to have someone take 30 seconds to post the results of your match. Alot of this, its always something I wanted to see, but could never find, so I figured I just do it myself. I always wanted to make efedding as realistic as possiable and I still do.

So that's my long term goals guys. I want APW to last a very long time. And never know, if what I want to pull off can happen, this can turn into something bigger than what we never though could happen.

Please reply with your honest thoughts with ideas that you like, don't like. Even add anything. I can't get to where I want to go with this on my own, that's why I wanted to tell you guys so together we can get there and make this a memorable experience

Jeff, those plans sound awesome. I'm honestly a big fan of this fed, and sometimes I feel like returning, but I simply couldn't give the run this fed would deserve, while still rp'ing where I still feel most comfortable.

The roster is filled with talented writers, and I can only see everything getting better. I'm being honest here. When I first joined, I joined because I figured I could post RP's in which I didn't have to spend much time on, and still win. But I was proven wrong. The talent has improved immensely, since then, and is only going to get better. Part of the RP'S development, I think are in part of your leadership skills in running the fed. Your hardworking ethics, rub off on others.

Your goals are all realistic and acheivable, as long as you don't rush them too much. For example I don't see another brand coming in here, for at least another year. Well, that's my opinion at least.

Your weekly shows are bar none, the best I've seen in any efed so far. The work you and the other guys put into them, is highly impressive. Another reason, why you guys are still growing today.

I think the main thing for you guys, is to get the word out. I talk on forums on interfeds, and what not, and APW has never came up. It's a shame; because you guys are one of the best out here right now.

Regarding your plans, Jeff. I don't think a 3 RP limit is needed. From what I see, people are into the 1-2 RP limits these days, and people tend to be in more than one fed. I tried it, but it didn't work out

But yeah, I'm ranting to much. Just know that you guys are headed in the right direction, and I'll continue to check out this place. Hurricane Jeff, you are doing an amazing job man. As long as you keep it up, APW is going places. Simple as that.

Wow. Lemme see here....

1) Another brand? Wow. That would possibly make this more of a chore than a hobby for someone if they were GM. If someone's up for that more power to you; I've been manager, GM, and everything in between and it can be a massive amount of work.

2) Your idea for the website and purchasing a domain name is, well, a bit grandiose for e-fedding in my opinion. This IS just an e-fed and, while having a site is nice, the site should just be concise with up-to-date roster info, news and the like. I like the news idea, and anyone who has news to be posted on the website can ALWAYS drop me a PM and I'll post it in no time flat. But going for a website on the TNA/WWE scale is a bit much for an e-fed in my opinion. People aren't gonna join us because our website looks cool. Another thing with TNA and WWE's websites is the fact that they don't load for everyone very fast. I feel that a website should have a look but not be so graphic-heavy or content-heavy on each page that they struggle to load. An e-fed with a long-loading website might actually deter people if the website is a selling tool. I patterned my makeup of the APW website after Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, whose website is nice and neat and to the point.

THAT is what I consider a good wrestling fed website. Easy to navigate, no long load times. That was my aim for the APW website. Just my opinion, of course. I've done countless sites for e-feds and various other things and simple always sells. I will halt production until you guys know what you want to do with things.

3) Developmental system makes sense but it would have to be run by someone who's willing to basically GM the whole thing. But, I must confess, getting my ass handed to me when I first started actually gave me the drive to get my imagination working. Without a true challenge one can get an over-inflated ego, get called up to the big leagues, get beat in their debut, get an attitude, then leave. I've seen it done before. I think a guest wrestler in developmental every now and then will truly gauge how a person is coming along.

4) Increasing the RP limit would probably run me off. I'm not being an asshole or anything - I'm just being truthful. I can manage doing one RP a week (my life is busy) and I can even pull out two for PPVs but multiple RPs regularly and weekly I just couldn't do. The thing about a no RP limit would be the fact that someone could win off of posting four subpar RPs to one person's one great RP. Quantity would win over quality at times, making the experience frustrating for people.

5) Monthly APW Magazine?!?! Well, I guess I'm off of that project. There's no way I could put together a monthly mag. And, seeing how we barely got articles in time for the last issue and I had to change formats at the last minute hoping for people to write articles and get them to me before deadline will be trying, especially if RP limits increase and the mag goes monthly. Once again, my opinion.

6) I post on the boards many times a day. Most feds I've been in that have lots of OOC activity often times end up with bickering over silly things constantly. It becomes a flame war. I believe in activity on the boards but I also believe that you shouldn't say anything if you don't have anything to bring to the show that's positive. My opinion.

Hello one and all. I've ben AWOL for a few months, but I'm back now to help out with things - yay

Ok, concerning your ideas:

1) I was in an efed where there was a development brand, and I was part of it, and when I finaly got the chance to work my way up to the main shows, it felt great. On saying that, the roster there was MASSIVE (Something like 30 active rpers on each show - there was 2 - plus the 20 actve rpers in the development brand) and there was about 20 staff all in all, so you can imagine the amount of work needed on a project like that - especialy if you want 3, possibly even four brands one day. It's a nice dream, but I personaly think that we should walk before we run and just concentrate on things as they are.

2) Staff members are a random bunch lol. I've always liked the idea of having a dedicated writing team for each show, and also an overall creative team that meet up once a week to discuss storylines for the roster members etc etc.

3) If you want to pay for a domain name etc then go nuts - it's your money. At the end of the day, the site does it's job as it is, but if you feel that you want to take things to the next level then more power to you.

4) Can't think of anything that would make things better here.

5) When the roster is bogger then yes, wrestling news sites are the way forward. I especialy like the wrestler review thing, and am hoping to start that myself very soon.

6) See point 1

7) 2 rps is fine, seriously.

8) Videos is your thing - the fact that they are even there is awesome, so don't stress yourself out to much.

9) The magazine is the best thing I've seen in an efed, but to have it every month would be a MASSIVE task in itself and would be far to much work. Personaly, 4 a year is more than enough, because people will REALLY look forward to each one.

You are the best GM that I ever worked under Jeff, so relax a little and just keep doing what you do best.

1=Another brand thing is cool, seems like a great idea when the time is needed.

2=goes hand and hand with the growth of the fed, more staff would come along as well

3= I think a website thing is cool like Phate is doing, but the boards are great as well. If this is the main page, that gets the traffic, then maybe it should be set up in some sort of way like that looking like a website, with the links taking to to the RP, PPV, Monday night show, forums etc.

4= seems that a lot of people are busy as shit these day's. In the times of a tough economy, it seems you have to work twice as hard to stretch the ever so weak American dollar. Then life brings it's twists, turns, and all around bullshit to go with it. GOD is funny that way...fucking Kenny.....HA! but yeah I try to post comment on topics, sometimes it's just enough to get on a read something that I haven't read yet, before rushing out of the house, or having to separate two fighting little boy's from beating the snot out of each other. I agree though when I was looking to get back into e fedding I searched the top sites list. Checked boards out, to see activity and such. I found APW..saw it hadn't had it's first show yet, and jumped aboard.

5=Sounds good either way...present day, or down the line, more publicity, or exposure to spark interest for possible noobs to come through would be awesome

6=Developmental brand things is cool. Florida Championship wrestling, or Ohio Valley Wrestling is always fun to watch on the INTERNET. The future of the business, all full of life, waiting to sharpen their game, then WAMMO....new stars...cool idea...maybe I could have worked off my 9 year ring rust off a bit, before moving up had we had a place like that...no had to do it the hard way running the Blackwell gamete, then meeting the Ego Crusher, and his clan...fuck off topic again. Developmental is awesome for self confidence, and reassurance...we all can't be perfect, but coming in and loosing every time doesn't make you want to continue like you said, so great idea there.

7=I like RP deal, the first fed I was in had no limit. I mean this dick wad would post a RP for a match, then you would post yours.....this fucking guy would pretty much just sit at home doing re-post after re-post RP's just to litter the board. They had no substance...mostly song lyrics, with bullshit chatter in between versus. He just through as much shit at the wall hoping some would stick. Plenty did...he won all the time, and I felt like here I sat down and really thought of something fun and creative, and this job master general is excelling by copying and pasting the fucking lyrics to all his favorite rap songs, while in between saying shit like "I can't be beat", and "Your falling at the hands of the Gentlemen" Well fuck you pal. Ok again I'm rambling...the limit is great...presents quality, and gives realistic time to put up one or two.

8=you need to go easy on your elf with criticism, your videos rock, and if I have to plaster the board with kiss ass comments each time you post one to re-enforces that I will, cause they rule. I started e fedding like 9 years ago, it sounds lame, but we didn't have videos, pic bases, or magazines...and we had to walk to school in ten feet of snow, uphill as well. Ok...the videos are solid fucking gold...I sat back in anticipation for the first PPV. Being new to the fed, and pretty much being a rookie all over again. So the New Years PPV got posted. I scampered to the computer like a teenager wanting to check their my space, and their it was an opening video. MY eyes grew, along with a smile...hell I probably had a semi hard water dog as well (ok too far on that one)...anyway I had never seen anything like it ever. Signatures, and avatars...you talk about making the whole game feel realistic...amazing, and keep up the good job.

9=The magazine every three months or so is cool for me, I know it's a ton of work, and by the way looks great..if your haven't read it yet there is a kick ass article about a certain wrestler trying to make major moves...you should check it out.

In all, this place is the shit, I have checked out other feds, even while on the roster here, and I think everyone else's shit sucks compared to APW. The people here on the roster are fucking awesome, the staff is great, the boss is cool.....for a Canadian Lol, anyways I have tried to help out with what ever I can. My computer skills aren't on the levels of many, but what ever is needed within my capabilities I will do to help grow the place, and put in some work. I love this place, the escape from reality is the best, and the game portion is better then mastering some video game...I mean you have to be creative, and try to bring other people into your world , make them feel like they are kicking it with your character. Then post it out there for the whole world to see. Then other people are in control of whether or not you did the job right...fucking awesome...brings suspense..and unpredictability to the game...which makes it fun...you really don't know what can happen any match...any PPV. Trevor told me this story about Kenny getting a title shot on a weekday show. Pretty much every one didn't think he would beat the current champion, let alone on a weekday show. Trevor said when he logged back on the board after the show, and saw Kenny as the champ he was shocked. That to me was amazing, a true testament to E Fedding. You bring everything you have...and wam....you shock the world...I don't know I just love this place. I know people will come and go in the E fed world, but if their is anything I can do to help make this place better, or keep running till the end of time, let me know. Like I have said before in the past I appreciate every person that helps make this place what it is...from the bottom of my heart thank all of you. When I thanks the fans in my RP's...that is my way of saying thank you to the staff...and every opponent...every active roster member.
