"There's Always Gonna be Another Mountain. I'm Always Gonna Wanna Make it Move. Always Gonna be an Uphill Battle, sometimes I'm Gonna Have To Lose." - Miley Cyrus (The Climb)
With Every Challenge I've faced since being the APW World Champion, I've faced a Mountain of a Challenge. I've moved Mountains, defeated those who wanted to step into my success and take it from me. Since becoming Champion people have flocked to Asylum. Talent, Ratings, the names of the skill walking through the door are rising daily. Maybe it's because they see me and think I'm a walkthrough but with each Mountain, I've carved a Valley. I've done that my entire career. Making a mid card Title into the highest valued and most sought after belt on the show. Be it the Influence that runs through my veins or the fact that people see the Wrestling Violence that I bring to every match. I can lose, I have lost plenty but the path that has been carved is always an uphill battle and right now, I begin my climb to another peak, another Mountain to move...Mt. Promise.[/b]
{{St. Augustine, FL. The home of Anthony Bailey. A very beautiful townhouse. Sunshine lighting up the windows like light bulbs comes into view as the scene opens. APW World Champion, Jason Kash appears from the right of the building. Dressed in a black sleeved sweat shirt, black jeans and boots as he stops at the curb, looking up and down the street to make sure he clear to move in. Fiddling with the door knob, Kash finally unlocks the front door. He enters the home of Anthony Bailey and almost has a heart attack when he hears a shower turn on down the hallway.
Stunned and not moving a muscle, Kash looks down the hallway and can hear the Shower door or curtain slide slowly to a shut. When you open a shower it's a bit faster because you're finished. At least it was something Kash noticed about himself. He creeps into the kitchen and opens the Stainless Steel refrigerator. Pulling out a pitcher of some kind of Juice, Kash hacks up a loogie and lets it drop down into the pitcher. Placing it back into the frig, he takes out a bottle of water and unscrews the cap as he eyes out the rest of the kitchen.}}
Jason Kash: Not bad, not bad at all. I have to keep my voice down, wouldn't want the cops being called. Then again, do you really think you would press charges against me going into to your Title Opportunity? Doubtful. Here I am though, behind enemy lines! Very classy Bailey! Your Father would be prou..Oh my bad, I forget..Your Father abandoned you! That has to suck, I should know, mine wasn't around either. Difference being is that I manned up and learned to be the man I am on my own. From my own experiences. Those in which have led me to become the World Champ! May I sit down? Thanks..
{{Flopping down hard into the slick black couch that sits in front of a glass coffee table. Both expensive without question. His arms lift up and grip the back lining of the couch as his eyes roam the room. From the huge 40 Inch LED Flat Screen hanging on the wall to the shelves full of Trophies and other Achievements. Kash leans forward, setting his bottle of water onto the glass table surface. He pops up and walks over, grabbing an Award Plaque from a nearby shelve.}}
Jason Kash: This is just special! Your Certificate of Graduation from Flagler College! I never attended College, another thing we don't have in common. Of course if I played sports at a college nobody has heard of then I'd hide it far better than you have. Are you actually proud of this shit? All these trophies, awards and what the fuck?
{{Setting down the framed certificate, Kash reaches over on the same shelf and grabs another framed certificate. He tries to pronounce the three words but comes up with something complete off from what the certificate reads.}}
Jason Kash: Magma Cum Load? La-u-dee? What the secret society is this shit Bailey? What kind of stuff goes on down in this College you still live so close too? Do they train Alter Boys there? That actually makes sense...This is disgusting, you should burn this man, serious. Maybe I'm reading it wrong...
{{His eyes stray over to Bailey's replica TapOut Championship. Something all Champions get for when their reign is over and the real thing is gone. Kash's memory of being TapOut Champion come back to him. He thinks of his own belt being on the line. How he lost the TapOut to become Tag Champion and how he lost the Tag Titles and became World Champion in the same night. He attitude changes from fun to serious as his eyebrows show it to the cameras.}}
Jason Kash: The next APW Pay-Per-View is called Test For The Best. That's no coincidence that you and I are meeting at this said Event. With a number of Megastars standing outside the ring, keeping the action inside the ring and interference outside of it. It's just you and I in there, so this becomes more than just a match for the World Heavyweight Championship. This has become a true Test For The Best between us, who is the better man? Who will take Asylum from this moment and carry it into the future? A Test to see who belongs at the top, headlining shows and Main Eventing the PPVs. Who belongs.
I've done it since November, and who can argue that Asylum hasn't made headlines since I took the throne. I've competed in Triple Threats, Dog Collar, and now a Lumberjack Match and I've done it not only for my career but for the brand I represent. Asylum is the show I represent, I belong on. I can go to Overdrive and see how much Influence I can have with all the "Big Names" but those Big names haven't been here and done it big. Who's to say they could? So this event is perfectly named for a match involving you and I. It's ripe for the pickings and it's about time we see who truly is the Poster Boy for what Asylum stands for.
Speaking of Posters? Look at these walls man, they are bare. Do you not have any pictures? You're a very lonely person here in this house that you hermit yourself in almost everytime people see you. Now I'm here, now I'm living in the shoes of Anthony Bailey. Seeing just who he is and feeling the depths of his personal space because that's how real this has become between us. You are a threat, that is not argued. You're not Chris Hart kind of threat but really, who is? That guy puts the Aw in Awesome! However big of a threat you are though, I've got to be THAT much more vile in how I pick you apart. I'm among the best at doing this Bailey and to think your educated words and Black History speeches all the while sitting at home on your couch will beat me for MY belt...You have a reality that will set in come Test For The Best.
{{Moving to one of the windows against the far wall of the room, Kash fingers the blinds and watches a car pass by. He lets go of the blinds, they slap against the wall as Kash turns and moves past the Glass Coffee table. Kash smiles and picks up the laptop that Anthony Bailey is often seen glued too which is sitting on the table. Flopping back into the black leather couch, he pushes the fold screen up. He rubs the mouse pad and the screen pops onto the Desktop Screen.
A few clicks and Kash reads some irrelevant information. He comes across the screen play Bailey had written about Lou Pearlman. Kash has a good quiet laugh about that but decides quickly not to mention that and make the connection to the Magna Cum Load certificate. Instead he stumbles across Bailey's Email Account and notices an email from Sally. He doesn't open the message but instead shuts the screen and places the laptop back on the coffee table.}}
Jason Kash: You know Bailey, if I can enter your home. If I can sit on your cough and look at your personal belongings or see things on your laptop that might be confidential then how intelligent do you have to be to know I'm not the guy you want to push. I push back, in fact when I'm pushed as you've pushed me, I take pleasure from hurting someone. I've done it before, I've ended careers because I was told I couldn't win. People love this business for the action and I give them Wrestling Violence. The love they give me is appreciated and as APW World Champion, I've been one of the favorites. Maybe not against you but..
Let's not fret though, today I'm living in your shoes. So to be speak of course, I don't want your athletes foot. When you realize I'm in here will it offend you? Will that be crossing the line? Does this look like a face that cares how you feel? There is another difference Bailey. You come from this pretty world, college, wealth, and success that you have even as a kid, when you weren't losing Championship Games in school. Me though? I am from a world where Money is the root of all evil and that evil is poured onto the streets in various forms.
Drugs, crime, rape, sex trade, Murder. I've done and been around it all Bailey so what happens when you've threaten my well being, my reign as Champion to where even my fans might cheer for you louder? I go back to that place where I was raised. I bring back the things in my head I had to settle as being right in order to stay afloat and survive. I'm not gonna rape you of course, but there will be a crime committed, well more than the one I'm technically doing now. Heh. I'm bored now, time to see what you're up too...
{{Up from the couch, Kash moves slowly into the hallway. The floors are nicer than some of the shit Kash has in his house. Wondering to himself why anyone wants to live above their means as he listens for the shower spraying water. He questions if Bailey has silk sheets, he'd check but if he did they might come up missing. Kash likes the silk. He rubs his shoulder against the door frame of the bathroom at the end of the hall. The orange glow of the room keeps most corners darkened.}}
Jason Kash: Shhh...
{{A finger pressed to his mouth as the hiss comes to quiet down things. He peeks into the bathroom and almost thanks his lucky stars that Bailey's shower is covered at the lower half of the body. Bailey shampooing his hair lets the water fall over his face as he washes his short black hair. A squeak jolts Kash out of the doorway and back into the hallway. He steps in tip toe and leaps up onto the kitchen counter, sitting and laughing. He reaches and grabs an Apple from the fruit basket that he's sure Tasha had placed. He rubs it against his black sweater before taking a bit crisp and juicy bite from the red fruit.}}
Jason Kash: I think you farted in the shower Bailey. To quote AdventureTime, "You've got a Nasty Booty Mister!" haha! This apple tastes amazing, is it because it's a B&E apple? Heh, I'ma put it back in the basket. I hope Tasha pegs it at you for putting it back now...That'd be justice!
{{He jumps down off the counter after placing his half eaten apple where he had found it. He begins to think about Tasha and that reminds him of Sally Talfourd. Someone Jason Kash knows very well (Hi Sally) and as he reenters the living room, he once again plops onto the couch. He grabs the laptop, opens it and sits Indian style with the laptop propped up on his crossed legs.}}
Jason Kash: Who do I look like right now? Haha! I know, I'm spot on for a Anthony Bailey! I mentioned something about Justice didn't I? Poor Tasha having to watch you on television with Sally as of late. The flirting, the soft touches, it's outright disgusting! That's like kissing every dude in the bar on a given night. So congrats on that but let me tell you how well a Power Couple works when the female is someone like Sally. Look at her past, look at the men she keeps as company. Shane, her puppet is a weak man. He takes orders and smiles, he probably makes her Period Mixes when she goes on the rag. Weakness. Look at her old partner, Nathaniel Havok. You've said some stuff about that guy yourself so you KNOW of his Da-Oushness and how weak of a man he was and eventually retired as being.
So now she is latching her claws into "The Promise"! In Wrestling years, she is Grandmother Old. You could call her the Cougar of Wrestling and you are becoming the innocent young man who will be swallowed up by her black hole of a twat. She plays it sweet and you're far too dumb smart and don't notice her setup. Why do you think she hasn't made a move at me? I'm not a weak man, I'm not one to fall for cheap Magic tricks. Heh. For that same reason she dislikes me. So what makes you think you aren't being suckered by that bitch? What happens if you do win the belt? She is knocking on the door to get another shot at being on the top. You think her flirting will continue if it's you in that spot? Keep thinking that way Bailey and I won't be the last person to kill your spirits....Trust that I will do just that though! It's just too bad the Promise has to also be a pawn....Wait, did the shower just turn off?
{{He sits and listens as the room goes silent. No water spraying and the sound of the Sliding door opening has Kash on his feet. Leaving the laptop on the couch where he was sitting, he creeps towards the door and listens. Not hearing anything, Kash waves for the camera to come closer.}}
Jason Kash: I think he's getting dressed, shh...I can't hear shit anymore. I'm gonna have to cut this short, seems like my time in your shoes has come to an end. Maybe next time I'll pay a visit to Tasha, she seems to need a real man in her life....Heh, Until Next Time! Shh...
{{He's careful about opening the front door but as he exits, he leaves the cameraman inside the Townhouse. He also makes it a point to shut the door loud enough for it to echo inside the house. As the scene begins to fade, Anthony Bailey's voice is heard.}}
Anthony Bailey: Hello? Is that you Tasha?
