Today had finally arrive. This was probably the greatest moment in his young life. Having been on this earth for twenty-two years, there was nothing that could have excited him more than this. He had recieved the oportunity of a lifetime. He began to think back to last week. Last week had changed his life forever. He had gotten a callback from the President of Action Packed Wrestling himself. Mr. Jeff had called him, and basically said, he'll provide the opportunity, but that it was really up to Dante himself to make the most of it. With that, he had been accepted in. Dante was now...a professional wrestler. As the memory slowly began to fade away into the back of his head, reality had slowly began to appear back. He was just outside of the arena now. It was time to make it into the building and enter the locker room.
As he stepped out of his car and into the parking lot, a rush of excitement and eagerness ran through here. Here is this twenty-two year kid, about to make a name for himself. Here is a kid, who was about to show everyone what he could do. Dante would then pick up his travel packs out of the trunk. It would take him a few minutes to reach the door that led into a hallway. From there, he would be able to see his locker room. Opening the door, he quickly made his way inside. Looking at his surroundings for a bit, he found that everything was as he imagined it would be. Inside the hall, he watched as different superstars had conversations, APW workcrew running around the place trying to get everything situated, and everything being all loud. As the picture began to settle in, he began moving again. This was going to be sweet.
When he had finally made it inside the locker room, he found a guest in a suit. It looked as though he was ready for an interview. He promptly called Dante over as the later was putting down his things. The man held a mic in his hand so his purpose for being here was obvious. It seems that Dante was going to have his first interview. The man would again call him over.
"Hey, your Dante right."
"Yeah"
"I'll be giving you an interview as soon as the other two arrive."
Just as soon as the other two that he mentioned arrived, they quickly got everything set up. The camera man would motion to the interviewer when to start. As they all communicated, Dante himself would just be waiting until the first question had been asked. After a minute of preparation, the camera man would give the signal to start. Following the cue, he began with the interviewing process.
"Hey everyone this is Shane West and I am here to introduce you all to Dante, a young upstart looking to make a name for himself here in Action Packed Wrestling."
"I'm here to make a huge impact on APW. I also have plans to capture the North American title while doing so."
"It seems you have a lot of confidence. Thats good. Now, lets get to the questions. You said you plan on capturing the North American Title, how do you plan on doing so?"
"I plan to do so by winning matches and giving my all each and everytime I wrestle out there. I want to show everyone what I can do. I believe I have what it takes to really make a name for myself."
"Cmon, those are pretty bland words don't you think. Have you thought about how many Megastars come in with the same words, and fail to achive such?"
"But there are Megastars that have achieved such feats. I believe you can do that by winning championships and showing the competitions that you are for real. When you show that you are for real, you prove to everyone that you have what it takes. When you show that you have what it takes, everyone respects you. That is how I am going to do it. Win until everyone respects me and say themselves, that Dante is for real."
"Nice. Now for the last question. Your going to have your debut match soon. I know you plan to win, but how are you going to prepare for it."
"I believe in what I can do. I can only watch their previous matches to sort of get an idea. It doesn't matter though, because in the end, the win gets awarded to the one who is able to get the 1...2...3."
"Well I wish you the best of luck. Alright everyone, this is Shane West along with Dante and we say...see ya."
With that, the interview was over. Shane would give Dante a friendly pat before he and his crew exit. With that, Dante was officially a APW wrestler. The first interview had went well. Now, it was time to get ready. Dante would be seen going back to his travel bag as the scene faded to black.
