The APW universe is at all time highs as more and more entertaining matches are taking over the wrestling world. The three shows that make up Action Packed Wrestling are consistently providing entertainment for people all over the world. What could make this place any better you ask? Well if rumors are to believed then this one is important. Rumor has it that a well accomplished independent wrestler has been in contact with President Jeff for some time now and that the two parties have finally been able to strike a deal. If this is correct and the man whos name is being thrown around is proven to be true, the quality of wrestling in APW has gone up a notch when it looked like it could go no further. This man is known for his in ring ability and if finally given the chance to shine on a big stage, who knows what he is capable of! When will we the news? Action Packed Wrestling are holding a press conference at 12 noon tomorrow. If rumors are true, a new age could be upon us in the wrestling business. The next big thing may have finally arrived.
Scene 1: Press Conference
The APW camera vans are just arriving along with news channels around the world at APW HQ for supposedly an announcement to do with the recent rumors surrounding one of it’s newest superstars. Rumor upon rumor has been surrounding the dirt sheets in the last two days and we are finally going to find out the truth about a recent signing. The doors are still shut with at least five large security guards all wearing a blue suit at the door. The media crews arrive one by one whom have all been given the word to get down here for a very large moment in a wrestlers career. The crew’s converse with each other mingling amongst themselves curious and anxious to find out what is going on? A man dressed in a full black suit with a white shirt underneath appears from behind the doors. The man is holding three sheets off paper on top of each other in his right hand as he begins to speak to the media present in the mighty large car park.

Ladies and Gentlemen present, my name is Marc Berry and I would firstly like to thank you all for attending today on slightly short notice. However I am confident the news will not disappoint.

APW is sure you will enjoy your time here at HQ but if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Now the press conference is all set up and you may place one and only one of your microphones on the front table and we will place it at the front of the press conference. We have a maximum of two reporters for each channel/paper so please keep your tags on at all times so we can recognize whom you represent. Now can you please follow me as I will take you in and get you seated.
The APW Camera crew kick into gear and take out a remaining cable from the van before making their way to the other crews in pursuit of Mr. Berry. The cameras are not yet running but the media crews are anxiously awaiting what lies ahead. The doors are opened for Mr. Berry to head back into the building with the following media closely behind. The first step into APW HQ and the scent of Vanilla is evident as the pale blue walls over shadow a very large building. The crowd of media follows Mr. Berry through down the main hallway of the building before taking a right at the end of the hall. Still continuing to follow the media crews begin to chat amongst themselves once again. With the chatter intensifying Mr. Berry begins to speak.

Quiet please……. QUIET! Thank you, well this is the end of my part of the conference. The door on he left allows you into the press conference. On behalf of Action Packed Wrestling I’d once again like to thank you for coming out and please be quiet when entering. Thank you.
As Marc Berry leaves the camera crews led by an APW staff member open the doors to the press conference. The front table is set with a microphone from each channel placed firmly in a holder and twenty chairs are set up for the media to sit in. The room is also a pale blue with a tinge of yellow. The APW staff are still getting a few things in order for the conference as the media begin to take their seat. One by one the media begin to sit down only leaving the cameramen form each channel standing together at the back of the room. The doors are shut and the conference is set to begin as one man begins to make his way up the stairs onto the stage. The man is dressed in a charcoal suit with light grey shirt underneath. The man sits in a seat on the stage placing a white document on the table in front of him. However the man does not look like a wrestler as he is quite old potentially in his early 40’s.

Ladies and Gentlemen I would like to thank you all for coming out here today on such short notice. My name is Liam Hall and I am the manager of the man whom I strongly believe can carry this company into the future and beyond. My client has been wrestling for five years on the independent circuit since moving over here from his homeland of Australia. I have been in contact with Action Packed Wrestling for some time now about potentially coming across and wrestling here. This looked very doubtful for some time however as we have finally reached an agreement, my client known as The Australian Messiah will be competing for APW. Now as you can probably see my client is not here today for reasons that do not need to be discussed but has left me this statement that he wished for the APW universe to hear.
’Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of the APW universe I would firstly like to welcome you to the era of The Australian Messiah. The era where I finally get my chance that I left home to achieve. The era where I get my shot at glory. Rumors and rumors and rumors have been flying around this week and if you don’t know me you will. You will get to know me very soon and so will each and every opponent I face starting this Monday Night on Meltdown. Yet don’t worry I will not be seen on Meltdown very often as it will be only a matter of time before I am headlining Overdrive. The times ahead are looking brighter and brighter for an already powerful company. Love me, hate me I don’t care, however the work I do in the ring..you will be impressed. That’s a promise. I do not claim to be the best in the world however I will go toe to toe with whoever you put up against me. I will rise through the ranks of Action Packed Wrestling and you will remember the day you heard about The Australian Messiah. Change is coming, Miles is coming.’
