"This is what I'm suppose to be doing..This was my calling..Always has been.."
He had lost the chance at becoming #1 Contender. He didn't seem to care. To him, he accomplished something during that Fatal Four way match. To him, sending Michael Callahan down those stairs was plenty achieving to him. It was the first time since Callahan had come to APW that the two actually traded blows. Kash had tried to get things started but Callahan never came. Now he was getting a chance to get Callahan inside the ring but first comes another roadblock. Another passage to the maze that he has to find a way through. Johnny Sykes and Jair Hopkins. Newer talent to APW, Hopkins brand new to the Asylum Roster.
He wasn't without worry though. He had lost the World Title and now the Number One Contender spot which he had in the bag before it was taken right out from under him by the one person he claimed earlier in the night would not "beat" him unless it was backstage and sexual. Did he ever feel more like a jackass now? He has been angry since Sunday Night. Even with the weed burning he has been pissed off. For many things but mainly because he seen the finishing line, he was seconds away from victory and somehow forgot about someone like Sally. Somehow allowed himself to continue the bad Season that had started in July.
Tidus Howe: At least Breaking Bad returned to Television, that's a plus right? Love that show..
Agreeing to meet with Mr. Howe wasn't something Kash wanted to do but he wanted to know more about this Season of J.A.S.O.N. and what he can do to fix this horrible start. He continues to recall last year's Season and how he predicted a World Title Reign, Tag Title Reign, and a Nasty 8 Tournament Win and all of them came true, he was riding in success and now anew this current Season has gone to shit. Sitting in this cheaply High Profiled Office makes Kash sick, it looks like it was inspired by Tony Montana's office but still not as cool.
Tidus Howe: You have a shotgun and a hammer. You have to use use them both. Jair Hopkins and Johnny Sykes, who gets got with what?
Jason Kash: What? A hammer and a shotgun? So I'm killing them both but which goes out a certain way? Is this a Serial Killers trivia game? (Sighs) Fuck it, I'd bash Sykes with the Hammer and use the Shotgun on "I'm So Hood" Jair Jair Binks...
Tidus Howe: Haha! Jair Jair Binks! That's pretty good. I'm sure he was worried about you calling him a "Thug" as he seemed to worry about that with Morrison. I think he used the term "Gang Banger" as well. Is it typical for the majority of young black males to play onto the "Thug" image?
Jason Kash: Doesn't matter, he rolls with Anthony Bailey and is probably getting all the advice that Bailey can give him. Maybe he'll wear an ear piece and go word for word on what Bailey tells him. Problem is I was raised in Atlanta, A-Town is that city of Constant Survival, fuck where he from. New York always over exaggerated. One flood and all the rats are gone...I need to flood this punk of any hope of success in a match against me. He's not the only one though..
Tidus Howe: Speaking of matches, win the Suicidal Championship..Win the Pro Life and replace that noise with the original Suicidal Championship and you become the only man to win every belt on a given show. If that's not Hall Of Fame worthy then someone is just not very nice! Haha!
Jason Kash: Pro Life. MAN it felt good putting Callahan down those stairs like that! What a rush! I felt...I felt...I felt a RAGE!! RRRRAAARRRR!!!
Up to his feet, Kash pops out of his chair. With one arm he slides everything off of Mr. Howe's desk. Papers, paper weights, picture frames of all sorts go flying around the room. Launching the chair he was sitting in, Kash roars out in anger at his bad Season. Pissed because he knows it in himself that he's better than his performance has shown. The wall thuds as Kash drills his fist into it and hurts himself. He dented the wall but he bends over clutching his own hand as Tidus slowly moves towards him.
Tidus Howe: That's right, let out the rage..What happened to you, what changed in the time between last season and this current one? What changed in who you are?
Jason Kash: Changed? Nothing, I became a World Champion on two different occasions.
Tidus Howe: Exactly. Before World Titles what was your purpose? When you've been World Champion, there has always been a bad season to follow that reign. Correct me if I'm wrong but your true success in the past has been when you've focused on the Violence. Asylum has been the Violence you've bragged about but you have lost your touch when it comes to actual Wrestling Violence. This is who you are...The man you entered this business as is the same man who will change this Season into an Awakening..
Standing up straight, Kash looks deep into Mr. Howe's eyes. He knows what Howe is commenting towards. Kash wipes his mouth with his good hand and looks down at the floor. Without saying another word, Kash leaves the office and Tidus Howe looks offended and confused as he remains in his trashed Office. Kash cuts into the hallway before bursting into the bathroom down the hall. Standing at the sink, he turns on the water and leans forward to splash his face with the cool liquid. Looking into the mirror Kash has thoughts swimming around at tremendous speeds. Pros and Cons to going back to how he was. Would it even be worth the effort? Wiping some rogue drips of water thats building at the tip of his chin, he flings it against the mirror.
Jason Kash: Is it me or does this game have more whack black dudes than a Slave owner's basement? Can we play into anymore stereotypes there Jair Jair? Anthony Bailey pretended to be "Down" too but the only down he does is when Tasha tells him he can stop jumping high on demand. But you both come from the School of Haha-Knocks don't you? Both have respect for Juan Ramirez which by the standards of time he was in APW, I ask you why? He blew more chunks than a virgin deep throating for the first time. He was Adam Young terrible and yet you both give him praise like he's his own religion. Maybe he's a better teacher than he was a competitor?
He doesn't matter, what matters is this match. See I know the foundation of Asylum might have gone under a slight change as of late. Bailey becoming World Champion sort of took the Violence out of Asylum altogether. Along with Farquhar and Callahan, there isn't a man of violence as Champion on this entire Show. That's unacceptable. Should I add to who I am now, bring back the old me who didn't care to end someone's career because that Jason Kash didn't have Bad Seasons. Not when I wasn't out to please the fans or please the Management backstage.
I never before cared if when I got to the back, the stage manager patted me on the shoulder giving me props for doing a good job...Now all of a sudden I need that? I have to clean up who I am? These last few weeks, the anger of being this cleaner cut version of myself has begun to drain. Little by little I can feel than anger, I can feel that rage that wants to end careers and butt fuck fat chicks just to say I've done it. Folks forgetting what I've been since stepping into this fucking organization? I'M HERE!!
The same hand as he used before. Glass from the mirror hitting and shattering on the floor around his feet. His clinched fist now dripping blood, he steps to the next sink and turns on the cold water. His eyes look up into the new mirror and he stares at his own reflection as he pulls a shard from in between his knuckles. From the outside of the bathroom door comes Tidus Howe's voice. He could easily push the door open but doesn't to protect himself.
Tidus Howe: Hey, you alright in there? Did you slip and fall? I try to hit the toilet bowl but sometimes I'm on the bluetooth and it happens to us all! You alright? Jason?
Jason Kash: Go away..I'm fine..I'm fine, I just need a minute..
He hears the sound of Mr. Howe leaving the door to the bathroom and returning to his nearby Office. To calm himself, he takes a few deep breaths. His voice comes and carries from a low to normal tone.
Jason Kash: I'm glad that Jair Jair is in this match. I'm glad that I get someone close to our new World Champion to make a statement with. With his background he must be dangerous but like most Modern Day "Gangsters" you're only tough with a gun in your hand or a crew of 20 right with you swinging. See me? I'm a solo dude and never rolled with more than 2 other dudes on the streets and that setup has been used in this business since day one when with a crew to ride the roads with from show to show. Now this little Ramirez Crew seems to be full of confidence and with Bailey bringing the belt back to his lair, I'm sure you all hugged and cried at being so happy...Fuck your whole crew and that mexican guy who molested you all at one of those Group Getaways. Now who else..Oh yeah...
Flippity Flop, Flippity Flop..Johnny Sykes has done a Flippity Flop with his time in APW. All the talent in the world but the lack of motivation, the lack of taking something serious just kills your chances. You've been the talk of the town, the rumored top Challenger for the Poo Life Championship before but then you faded away. You've gotten to be as good as gossip and that's all you've been. You've been talked about but nothing ever came from that because you're a cruiser. Someone like Mike Morrison who just sits on the roster because he doesn't care enough to really matter.
Someone who slacks off because he takes the easy road each and every time a fork comes into your path. Well jump around all you want but like your Theme Song artists entitle, You are on a Lonely Island. One where becoming a Champion comes second to playing your XBOX 360. Well good for you, play those video games and soak up all your free time. I hope you save your paychecks because you're career will be a short one, much like your chances to win this match.
I'm tired of this Rassling bullshit that has begun to take over Asylum. Farquhar as TapOut Champion, Anthony Bailey as World Champion, and Michael Callahan who changes the face of the Suicidal Championship. He defaced this brand, this show and someone like Sykes, someone who likes to dance around, flip forward and springboard but never showcase violence is the guy to reinstate violence? Pah-LEASE!!
Your mother should have Da-Oushed right after sex. Now she birthed a Da-Oush for a Professional Wrestler, hows that for the over use of a word Sykes? You win...SYKE...See that play on name? Nice right? Not as nice as the markings, the wounds and blood pouring gashes I'm going to open on you once this match begins. The violence inside of me has seen many terrible things inside this business and it's about time to change up this BAD Season and make it a Violent One...
Punching yet another Mirror, Walking out of the bathroom, leaving it's floor full of glass and questions about what is still to come for Jason Kash. The scene flickers and hits a solid black screen.
