It's been quite a while since I asked for any feedback, but I've recently changed a few aspects of Noble's character in the last 2-3 months, so I'm wondering how the character is coming along. I'm trying to develop Noble as bloated with fame while still barely walking on the face line, essentially. So if anyone has any suggestions/thoughts/criticisms for the Noble character and how I could perhaps continue to push his egomaniac behavior (or if you don't like it!), or you just want to comment on the RP itself, please let me know! As expected, I return any feedback I receive! apwprez.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=odrp2012&action=display&thread=11147

You know, I never saw this until you mentioned it in the Overdrive Feedback thread yesterday. I do have plenty of feedback for the Noble character in general but I'd like to read the actual RP you linked us before I leave a detailed response in here so expect one in the morning. ;D

I blame James for not mentioning this to me.
I'm gonna go back and read like 4-5 of Noble prior RPs before this one and get an idea of the character and then compare it to this one.
That said if you think I only need to read specific ones that would work better.

I'm kinda torn on the Kurt Noble character here.
1. I think the direction it's going is amazing. YOu seem to get better every single week and your new egomaniac/aggressive/Kylie manipulated Kurt Noble is one of the best characters i've ever seen. I would caution though that there is a line that would make Kurt Noble a less believable Face....but it seems like part of the character is walking that line so kudos.
2. YOu're getting better (and you're already the best) so STOP IT! Stop it now.
I don't have any feedback on your specific roleplays. I find it REALLY hard to feedback somebody that I'm feuding with only because I can't be objective. Everything I read is great and makes me feel inferior.

I've definitely been trying to tip-toe along that line while trying to keep Noble a face, and I think I may have crossed a little too much into heel territory with this last RP...but I it was at least justified because of the last Overdrive's ending, ha. I'll be more careful about that line. Thanks bud! As for TJ, if I had to request an RP (I'm not gonna ask you to read multiple because I know that can be time consuming), the RP I did against Envi two weeks ago ("Demons") sums up some of the changes pretty well, I think, as does "Revenge." Any thoughts are appreciated!

I was trying to get to this but TMarv beat me to it.
If there is any criticism that I can give to the Noble character it's that you are getting dangerously close to the tweener line. I enjoyed the fact that Noble would always have people tugging him different ways and he'd always kind of go there mentally but at the last possible second...he'd prove why he was a true hero.
However, you prove time and time again why you're the best in the game right now.

It's taken me awhile to get to this, because I think it's harder to find something to pick out as something to work on. I don't usually want to leave feedback that doesn't have something to it on the critiquing side of things. Writing wise, you're one of the best, so it's not like you need to change anything there.
The only thing that I might be able to point at would be what is already said. Toeing the line is fine, playing the over famed superstar whose drifting around tweener with a face is great, but you don't want to get to the point where Noble is coming off like a heel. HOWEVER, there are circumstances that can arise that can allow a major leap over the line to happen and wouldn't lose the face-ness of the character (such as the ending to Overdrive). If I were looking at that as something on TV, and saw one of the hero's wives get hit and he went off on the next broadcast, I'd say it would be justified.
I like how you've used Kylie to help the Noble...shall we call it a transition? Seems like a rough way to say it, but I like it. I also like how you've still got hints of the older characters that helped Noble get to where he is, which is a great tool to show the emotional toll it's all taking on Noble without actually showing Noble.
I actually hate that I can't find something more to pick apart right now. Your writing is fantastic from a reading standpoint, so there's nothing to worry about there. The character of Noble is a great characters right now, and the way you toe the line kind of draws out anticipation of possibly turning, yet not.
I'd say that if you keep on the path you're going, you probably can't do any wrong. The ONLY thing I might keep in mind would be that the tweener/toeing the line thing might possibly get old at some point and you might have to choose one or the other...I don't know if that makes sense at all lol.
