Well, here we go!
Loved all the build up for the feuds. I think I said it before, and I know others have said it, but it's great when feuds intertwine and overlap. Admittedly, that overlap has kind of faded in recent weeks but it still works wonders. Especially when you tie in things that occurred months ago, with the whole Sindicate business (or at least when Felipe mentions how Kurt could have joined them). Also some nice work carrying it all through the show to the final payoff at the end. Some great work done by Terry and Kurt to set everything up for this Main Event at Shockwave. I'm definitely looking forward to this match.
I also enjoyed how the opening segment worked. It might not have rolled out the way it was originally intended, but I think it still did what needed to be done to promote the scramble. Props to Delikado for getting that going and putting it together for the show.
Even the smaller feuds (and by smaller I don't mean their less important) are getting their time. Definitely gives each match something to build off of going into Shockwave. Interesting Atken/Knuckles stip added, and while it seems a bit over the top, it fits with their feud, so no qualms here. I'm also a fan of the Biggs dynamic that is going on. With Stan around, he's able to continue to play up Biggs' current state and place Stan in his place while doing so.
As for the matches...what can be said? They were all well written. My only gripe might have been the Main Event, and that would have ONLY been because Delikado seemed to be playing by the rules. I know it's probably easier to write a basic match, but I would have suspected Delikado to get more involved or at least have more interaction with the participants. Nice little twist to the ending there, so I guess that will have to do lol.
As for the other matches, well done to the writers and congratulations to the winners. There have been some great RPs thrown out each week, and it's getting to the point where matches could go either way. Definitely makes for some interesting possibilities at Shockwave since things could go either way.
Definitely some good build tonight, seems like the segments were out in full force. Can't wait to see how things unfold at the PPV!

Just finished my CWC RP, so I've got some feedback to rattle off. I won't hit everything, mainly just wanted to hit on the major themes of the show.
I think this was definitely the heaviest segment to match ratio I've seen in the year I've been here. Not to say the matches got over-shadowed, but the segments definitely drove this show home. What I definitely feel separates this Shockwave build-up from other PPV build-up is that almost every match has received a string amount of build-up. Envi/Smith, the Scramble match, and hopefully Marvin/Noble have all gotten lots of segments to build them up, and this show really demonstrates that.
The opening segment was a little long, but definitely highlighted all the different personalities and pushed the match forward. If the match needed hype, there it was.
The LeWinter segment was hilarious. Definitely like the overlap of feuds/ideas that we've seen happen a lot lately, and this is a nice segment that doesn't exactly focus on one feud, but hypes a few slightly.
Wow, big win for Harris. Congrats!
There's a lot of personal stakes in these feuds: Harris/Carmen definitely is a reminder of that. A lot of these feuds haven't been focused on titles, but really have an organic rivalry or hatred attached to them, if that makes any sense.
Always nice to get a little Asylum presence!
There were one or two segments that felt unnecessary, but overall, most of them served a point. I guess at this late in the feuds, single-person segments don't quite have the impact that face-offs or multiple character segments do.
I wanna give props to Tmarv for all the work he's put into this feud. For me, this is the most personal rivalry I've had in the past year story-line wise, and definitely a top one for the character. Tmarv also saved my ass when I couldn't finish one of the segments. Thanks for all the help bud, and hopefully Shockwave isn't the end!
When I look at the roster, it's easy to see that such a *huge* portion of it was involved in this show. Segments, angles, the whole picture. This is what every fed-head wants: activity. Really a night that makes you proud to be in APW, because it puts us as a whole on a grand scale.

I get the reasoning for it, I do, though it's one of those situations where if you say one thing, at least don't be a hypocrite (not you, yourself Mania, just used your post as the reference).

Gatesy, I have no idea what you're talking about haha. I know you didn't mean me, but who is the hypocrite and about what in this situation?

I'm gonna KICK START this sad display of feedback. From beginning to finish... The show was what a Go Home show should be. There wasn't a single weak moment from matches to segments. With the exception of the Harris/Carmen stuff, every segment promoted every faucet of story line going into Shockwave. The show seemed to flow together VERY nicely....segment heavy, but what do you expect for a go home show? I can't wait for the OD title scramble! This match has the potential to not only be a MOTN theif, but so MANY story-lines/feuds can come out of it regardless of who wins. I can see a Heel turn in there too somewhere . I thought the opening segment went off without a hitch. IMO! Stryker and Shadow certainly built up pretty decently given their short time frame. Level One / Chris Hart seems to have a lack of build, but does it really need one? That angle writes itself. Overdrive is going in to Shockwave SUPER DUPER strong! Awesome work everyone. Super special shout out to Kurt.... This has been one hell of a ride.
