To put it simply, you can not be killed at night during the odd numbered nights. I highly suggest that you use this gift as the juggernaut Jason truly is.

Callahan - one of the top guys to play mafia, was given the BEST ROLE in the game and lets it all go to waste. WTF? lol such a shame, so much more chaos could have happened but didnt cuz of his boner actions. playing it safe may have won the town the victory but at wat cost?

anybody who i modkilled or asked me to modkill them - WTF?!! i can totally understand people being busy but how hard is it really to make a simple post? it takes less than a minute. i wont name names but i really worked hard to put together this game and make it usable and its stuff like this that really takes away the fun of it.


FINAL THOUGHTS:

this is obviously my first game and i hoped it was enjoyable for u guys. perhaps some shuffling around would have made things better but after a tons of reviews i feel that this game was fairly balanced in terms of abilities but thats more for u guys to decide. how did i do as a mod for my first time? im sorry if i seemed a lil bossy with some of u but i feel like i shouldnt of had to chase people down for night actions. maybe thats just me being new to being a mod. there were times i felt frustrated but i sucked it up anyways. all in all id like to think i did a decent job of making this game exciting and enjoyable. all roles I SWEAR were at random using random.org and i thought it was pretty funny that Kash got Lauri when he could have easily gotten Michael Myers which would have been way too obvious but that again is luck of the draw. Envi was stoked as HELL to get it tho so dont feel bad LOL. Oh, and Terry, AC SMITH sent u that message and had NOTHING to do with the game. he was replying to u calling him a dick lol so he said ur welcome.

What? No way.

You give me a number of one shot powers and I choose to use them conservatively, so that earns me the Branden Harvey award?

The ones I did use (I believe) were constructive to the game. My NK attempt on Noble was able to successfully pinpoint him as Krueger and my nano suit possibly saved my ass. I couldn't think of constructive ways to use my other powers which would've benefit the town.

I completely disagree with this procedure.

Although vague, you can make accurate guesses as to who has night actions when night phase suddenly ends. Although vague, you can make accurate guesses as to who has night actions when night phase suddenly ends. If everyone sends their night actions in in the first couple of hours and there is just one person who rides out the 48 hours because they dont want to use it, kinda slows things up.

All it is is courtesy yo say 'Hey I dont want to use my action'

Im not saying that the night phase only lasts 2 hours.

What I am saying is that if everything is wrapped up in 24 and someone doesnt want to use there action, they are the one holding up the game.

To me, if someone has a night action and fails to send something in, that is the same as day time activity and warrants a prod and a warning

Night Actions shouldn't have to take more than twenty four hours anyway.

Surely not sending in a PM for night action is the same as saying "I don't want to use a night action"? What difference does it make that you politely get informed? Not only that, but this rule is difficult to enforce without seriously mucking up your game. I tried to do it last game and nobody bothered because it's tedious having to say what simply saying nothing will achieve.

I agree with Blade.

Nonetheless, it was a good game. Very interesting set up and I'd definitely play another moded by Knuckles game in the future.

The game stalled in some places but I think it's because there was no Mafia so the serial killers stayed as quiet as possible and those who didn't want to be killed also kept their posts to a minimum.

Of course I died early on so I couldn't enjoy it the same way others did but it was definitely fun while it lasted. Manic is definitely the MVP of this game without a doubt but I am glad my game play early on didn't go unnoticed, thanks Knuckles!

Dominate performance by the Town on this one. I don't think we ever broke a sweat.

See when you guys decide not to play because you didn't get it the first time around it hurts future games. I mean, Kash was the only one in this game to ask questions, which is the only way your gonna get better at understanding the game.

Mafia is basically a who dunnit game. You use your power to figure out people's alignment. Sometimes you get a good role, (Roleblocker, Cop, Watcher/Tracker, Doctors) sometimes you get shitty roles (Messenger, Bomb, Vanilla), but you gotta use them to figure out whose against you and get them before they get you.

I mean, what, we had 3/4 noobs this game and Raab last game, that's 5 new players for future games. I mean there is a FAQ in the mafia forum that has all the basic info in a game and your questions get the more advanced info.

That said, try to play another game of Mafia with this. I mean, I didn't know what the fuck I was doing in Justified mafia, just try to contribute and shit. I mean, i normally make it close to the end of the game so I think I must be doing something good right?

On topic, great game Knuckles, I'm not gonna lie when I was told that Bacon had come up with all the set up, I was worried about the game really and the whole "I dont wanna play anymore" killed the game a bit early. Fun game tho and I loved the write ups. If anyone reads the limbo QT you can see how pissed I was.

Clearly. I'm talking it super personally. What're you talking about?

And yes, I guess not but you underestimate how lazy people are. It's far more cumbersome to say "No, I'm not doing anything" when simply saying nothing at all will suffice. You'll know the person isn't using night powers when they don't report to say they're using it.

It's a difficult and silly rule to try and enforce and impossible to justify punishing.

Yea, when I saw that night actions had 48 hours to be given, I thought it was a bit long, I understood though, but 24 hours is a lot, i mean, if you go an entire day phase, which was 72 hours, and the entire 48 hours for night phase, that's 5 days. I mean, this game was extended by a good half week because of the 48 hours rule.

Again, I understood though since Knucks just opened the store up, at least, that was my thinking why 48 hours was chosen.
