Shockwave is literally right around the corner. Thus far there have been quite a few people that have taken the time to be vocal about their matches and what exactly they feel will take place on that night. Two men that have been going quite harder than anyone else at the event would be Michael Harris and Nick Watson – after all there is some legit hatred between the two.
Harris ended up firing first out of the two of them, and he let it know that as soon as the two of them stepped into the ring with each other he was going to be aiming to put Watson out of action for good. In fact he promised to terminate Watson from APW and all of professional wrestling. That right there is without a doubt some pretty big words and quite the threat taking place.
As one could imagine that didn’t settle very well with Watson, thus causing him to have a few choice words for Harris himself. He basically told the world that Harris was a liar and nothing that he planned would actually take place. Then he went on to guarantee victory over Harris and promised that he was going to prove that his first win wasn’t a fluke in the least bit.
Now there was still sometime to hear from the two of them before the event rolled around. It was likely that more shots would be fired and more nerves were going to be rubbed the wrong way. At the end of the day, it wasn’t about who could talk the most trash. It wasn’t about who could be the most insulting and it wasn’t about who could say the most.
Instead it was about what could be done in the ring. Thus far the only one that has any true ground to stand on would be Watson seeing as he does have a victory over Harris. However Harris has been on a roll as of late and seems more focused that he has ever been. It very well could go in his favor. Either way though, it was going to be a damn good match and one that no one would want to miss.[/i]

[ RESPECT WILL BE GIVEN
[/u] ][/size][/b][/center]With tonight being the night of Shockwave and the show set to go live in a few hours. One could understand why things were rather busy in the Staples Center. People were setting up for the event. Wrestlers were getting themselves ready for their matches and so forth. At this current moment though, Michael Harris happened to be walking down the halls with what appeared to be some type of purpose. Moments later that purpose was made clear when he stopped in front of the office of President Jeff.
Harris didn’t even so much as knock. He grabbed a hold of the door handle and pushed it open heading right onside the office. There sat Jeff at his desk on the phone, but it didn’t take him long to hurry himself off the phone once he realized that Harris was there. After hanging up Jeff stood up and extended his hand towards Harris only to have the self-proclaimed Best To Ever Exist blow his handshake off.
Michael Harris: I heard that you wanted to see me, I could only imagine what I have done now.
President Jeff: Yes, I did request to see you but it has nothing to do with what you did. Why don’t you sit down and make yourself more comfortable? Then we’ll get down to the business that needs to be discussed.
Michael Harris: I’d rather not. Now why don’t you go ahead and cut to chase? I have a lot of things I need to take care of tonight. I don’t have the time to be wasted by you.
Harris clearly wasn’t going to be friendly and that was going to make this meeting just a wee bit difficult. Jeff proceeded to sit down as Harris just stood there glaring at him. It was time for them to discuss the point of Harris being here.
President Jeff: Alright then Harris, I am going to shoot straight with you. We haven’t exactly seen eye to eye on since you debuted here in APW, but I have decided to put that aside for now. Last week what Carmen Rivera did was out of line. I can’t even begin to imagine what went through your mind. I feel that I am obligated as a man that runs everything to ask how you are doing, and how your son is doing. I might not always see eye to eye with people but at the end of the day with situations like this I need to make sure that my superstars are mentally, emotionally, and physically okay to be here.
Michael Harris: Let me guess, here is the part where I am supposed to be grateful? And this is the part where we’re going to start becoming the best of pals? If that is what you are shooting for then you can go fuck yourself. I know damn well you aren’t doing this because you actually give a damn. You’re doing this to cover your own ass. You’re doing this to cover APW’s ass.
President Jeff: What are you talking about Harris? I am genuinely concerned about with what happened last week and wanted to make sure that everything was alright. I wanted to make sure you’ll be okay to compete tonight. Like I said what Carmen did was way out of line.
Michael Harris: Oh what the hell ever Jeff. You’re only checking in because you know that I could easily sue the fuck out of APW for what happened on Overdrive. Not a single one of your security staff stepped in to help me. Not a single person called the police to help with the situation. You and your entire company basically allowed a six year old child to be in danger and not a single one of you gave a shit then, but now you do when you realize I could own APW just like that. Well don’t fret Jeff; I’m not going to sue. You’re just lucky that my son is okay and not a single hair on his head was truly harmed.
There was no real way of telling if Jeff was legit concerned or just covering his ass. One man could say one thing but think completely different. Besides it isn’t like Harris trusted very many people in this world as it is, and he damn sure didn’t trust anyone in the wrestling business.
President Jeff: Well then I am glad to hear that your son is okay. However I think that you yourself will be glad to hear that I have been doing some thinking and I very well might draft Carmen from Meltdown to Overdrive. I am also thinking about giving the two of you a match in order to solve things among yourselves. I figured it was the best way to go seeing as things have gone the way they have between the two of you.
Michael Harris: Yeah, well you thought wrong. You’re just being like everyone else and you are giving Carmen exactly what you want. You don’t understand her thinking and neither does anyone else, but I do and I know that she is doing all of this to get attention. She is doing all of this to get what she wants.
President Jeff: Exactly, what do you mean?
Michael Harris: Carmen is sick of being on the C Show. She is sick of being down there with the rest of the losers. I was her meal ticket and I was the person she needed to get off of Meltdown. That’s why she was my manager before I cut her loose. Once I did that she knew that she was going to be forever stuck down on Meltdown because she isn’t good enough to make the transition up. Therefore she thought starting a war with me was actually going to get her somewhere and that it was going to be the thing that got her off that show. If you draft her to Overdrive, you’re just giving her what she wants and then you’ve got an even bigger problem with me.
President Jeff: Are you telling me then that you aren’t going to do anything about what she did last week? You just got done throwing a big fit and talking about suing the company, but you’re just going to let her off scot-free? It makes no sense.
Michael Harris: There you go jumping to conclusions and proving that you aren’t as smart as you play yourself off to be. Don’t you worry with time I am going to get Carmen back for what she did, even if that means that I have to lower my standards and compete on the Meltdown brand just to kick the ever living shit out of her. One way or another, I’ll get my payback but there’s no fucking way in hell I am going to let her progress here in APW. There is no way in hell that I am going to allow her to get what she wants and there is no way in hell I am going to allow her on my brand.
Of course it wasn’t really Harris’s brand, but there was no real way of getting him to see otherwise. Not to mention Jeff was in control and if he wanted to bring her to Overdrive then that’s exactly what he was going to do and there was no ifs, ands, or buts about it.
President Jeff: I guess if that’s how you want to go about things then more power to you. I can only assume that you’ll be going forward with tonight’s match then.
Michael Harris: Of course, I might not like Carmen but I hate Nick Watson with a passion. I am going to make sure that I take advantage of this match. After all that sorry son of a bitch has something coming his way then too.
President Jeff: Well then should I go ahead and put a ban on Carmen from appearing out there tonight? I think we both know that she’d do anything now and one of those things would be costing you a match that you have wanted so badly.
Michael Harris: Why would you go and do something like that? You act as if I need that and act as if I’m scared of Carmen or that this match is going to end some other way than what I want it to because of her. Let’s get something straight right here and now. I’m not afraid of anyone especially not some fat psychotic Mexican. Let the bitch come out there and attempt to screw me out of the match. I fucking dare her too, because the moment she is anywhere near ringside. I’ll put the bitch out of her misery. I’m not playing games anymore with her or anyone else for that matter.
President Jeff: Alright then Harris, if that’s how you want things then that’s how it is going to be. I am going to say this much right here and now. If Carmen makes her way to ringside, if Carmen manages to cost you a win, and if Nick Watson is the victor tonight. Then don’t come bitching to me about it later. Don’t bitch about it at all. I gave you a way out and you didn’t take it.
Michael Harris: Let me make this clear Jeff, Watson doesn’t have an ice cube’s chance in hell at beating me. He got lucky a month ago. That’s all that it was, it was pure luck and now his luck has run out. Now he has to get in the ring with a man that would love nothing more than to completely destroy him. Nothing is going to stop me. It doesn’t matter if Carmen goes out there. It doesn’t matter if you go out there, the entire roster, or a fucking swat team. Nothing and no one is going to save Watson tonight. He will not defeat me and I will have my hand raised in victory.
He just sneered while looking at Jeff. He had it all planned out in his hand and tonight failure wouldn’t be an option for him. It would be interesting to see how it all turned out especially considering the fact that Watson isn’t going to go down without a fight and is going to be looking for a little retribution of his own due to Harris’s attack a few weeks ago.
Michael Harris: Once I have taken one of your golden children and I have gotten rid of them for good around here in APW. You’re going to have no other choice than to start giving me the things I want and that I deserve around here. There is no more sticking me in pointless matches. There is no more trying to keep me out of title pictures. No more keeping me off the posters, out of opening videos for Overdrive, and so on and so forth. You are going to have no other option but to do what I say and give me what I deserve because I am the future of APW and I deserve some damn respect!
President Jeff: You know for a man that has been in this sport as long as you have. You would have figured by now that you know how respect works. In order to get respect you have to give respect. Respect isn’t given it is earned. You don’t respect me, therefore I won’t respect you. You don’t respect APW so therefore I won’t respect you and neither will anyone in the back and neither will any of those fans. You are digging your own grave around here and you are almost to the point you can’t pull yourself. You can’t intimidate me into giving you what you want. Been around this business along time myself and many have tried the same stunt you are but they all failed. You’ll get something if you deserve other than that, you’re out of luck kid.
Michael Harris: Obviously you don’t know me very well, and that happens to be one of your biggest mistakes. I’m never going to respect you, I’ll never respect this company, or anyone that works for it. I damn sure won’t respect any of those fans. You all made it clear how I was going to be treated when I stepped foot in this company. I’ll never forgive or forget, and there is no turning back now. You all caused this, and you think whatever Jeff. One way or another, I am going to get exactly what I want. All it takes is me terminating your golden child and then you can never deny me again.
With that being said, Harris turned around and walked right on out of the office of President Jeff slamming the door shut behind him. Everything that he wanted to say and everything that he felt needed to be said had been put out there in the open on the table. Harris had something to prove and he had been making that clear over the last couple weeks. It was just a matter of seeing if he could actually get the job done after all the trash talking. One way or another though, things would come to a head.

[/u] ][/size][/b][/center]By now Shockwave was under way thus why the cameras proceeded to open up to the backstage area. Upon doing so the audience got to see Shane West standing there with Michael Harris. As one could imagine the fans started to boo with all their might seeing as they weren’t very impressed with the sight of Harris. Of course it wasn’t like it bothered Harris in the slightest bit. With that being said though, West lifted up his microphone and jumped right on into things.
Shane West: Ladies and gentlemen, I am Shane West and as you can see. I am standing next to the Untouchable One himself, Michael Harris. First and foremost, I wanted to say thanks for offering me a few moments of your time.
Michael Harris: Yeah, one thing you should already know about me is I am not one that puts up with brown nosing. Let’s get this little interview under way, before you end up not having one take place period.
Shane West: Alright then, I don’t think it is much of a secret to anyone that tonight you are set to go up against Nick Watson. It has been a long time coming after all the two of you have been at each other’s throats for little over a month now and it finally all comes to a head which I could imagine is a bit weight lifted off your shoulders and Watson’s shoulders as well. Anyway, could you tell us how this entire thing started between the two of you?
Michael Harris: It should be simple seeing as I have only gone over this a million times in the last month. It all started when Watson had lady luck on his side and got lucky enough to beat me in the middle of the ring. Right then and there is when it all started. From that point things have gotten worse and worse. From that point I promised that I wouldn’t rest until I get some form of revenge. From that point on I promised myself I wouldn’t rest until I have gotten rid of Watson and I promised myself that I wouldn’t rest until I made it clear I was better than that sorry son of a bitch.
From the look on Harris’s face, it was clear that just mentioning the name Watson pissed him off. It was clear now more than ever just how much hatred Harris had for Watson. It was bound to make for an entertaining match when the two of them did lock up in the middle of the ring but the fact still remained that only one of them could be leaving with the victory.
Michael Harris: And believe me Shane, I have heard what these idiotic people have said. They all seem to think that I am going too far with things. They seem to disagree with the fact that I am blaming Watson for the downfall my career has suffered. They seem to be against me and want nothing more than to see Watson defeat me a second time. That just proves how stupid they are, it proves how disrespectful they are, and it just adds fuel to my fire. Those fans are just as much at fault for things going sour as Watson is seeing as they actually support someone like that. It is all good though, tonight they are all going to suffer and in the end they are all going to see things for how they truly are.
Shane West: Well then Harris, it isn’t uncommon for the fans to have an opinion and it doesn’t exactly make them wrong. It just means that they prefer something that you yourself don’t prefer. Like I said there is nothing wrong with that, but you clearly have a strong opinion on how things are truly meant to be, so how are they meant to be?
Michael Harris: It is supposed to be like it has always been in the past Shane. I am meant to be the one on top of things. I am meant to be the King of the Mountain. I’m meant to be the one with all eyes on him and I am meant to bulldoze right through people like Nick Watson. That is what I am known for doing. That is how damn good I am but because one fluke. Because of one night based on luck. Because of Nick Watson all of that has been taken away from me and now everyone sees Watson for what they should be seeing me as. I cannot and I will not allow that to happen. I cannot and I will not allow that continue and over my dead body with Watson ever accomplish those things before me. Tonight is the night balance is restored. Tonight is the night where things go back to the way they were and the way they were meant to be. Tonight is the night I put an end to Watson once and for all.
Shane West: That’s all fine and dandy Harris. I understand that is how you see things for how they are, but I also think it is important for you to keep in mind. That is not how Watson sees it and considering the history between the two of you. You should also keep in mind that Watson is going to enter this match with the goal of putting you down as well. Just a little bit advice that very well could help you in the end.
Michael Harris: Do you really think I give two fucks what Watson wants? Or better yet what he plans to do tonight? If I did then this match wouldn’t even be happening. In fact Watson and I would likely be the best of friends – but this is reality and not fantasy land. I could care less about what he wants, how he feels, and what he has planned for tonight. Truth be told it isn’t going to make a difference. I have made up my mind and Watson has to pay for what happened. Tonight, I am not going to rest until Watson is laying in that ring unable to stand on his own two feet. I will not rest until Watson is laying in that ring face down in a pool of his own blood. I will not rest until I am standing over Watson’s motionless with body with my hand raised in victory. Most importantly, I will not rest and I will not leave here until I have proven that I am without a shadow of a doubt better than Watson. Mark my words, it is going to happen!
No sooner than those words came out of his mouth. Both Shane and Harris heard what appeared to be sarcastic clapping coming from behind them. The two of them turned around and sure enough their suspicions were right. Person being this sarcastic clapping happened to be none other than Carmen Rivera. It didn’t take long for Harris to start glaring in her direction and Carmen was quick to return the favor back.
About that time Carmen proceeded to take a couple steps forwards Harris. It was clear that neither one of them were going to back down from the other, they were standing their ground. However the same couldn’t be said for Shane as Carmen gave him one dirty look that sent him quickly walking off down the hall. For a moment or two there was just this silence between the two of them, but soon enough a twisted little grin formed over Carmen’s lips as she spoke to her former boo.
Carmen Rivera: I see that you have become quite confident lately Harebear. Don’t you wish that confident was actually going to get you somewhere though? I mean let’s face it shall we? You might be able to fool this people into believing the shit that’s coming out of your mouth but at the end of the night you won’t back a single word up. Once again you’ll choke and once again you’ll look like a fool.
Michael Harris: You got a lot of balls showing up like this considering what you pulled last week, but it just proves my point when it comes to how crazy you truly are. I also love the trash talk, especially coming from someone who is still stuck on the C Show and happens to be doing jobber duty tonight when it comes to opening up the show. It is what it is though, I expected this from you Carmen. You have gotten to the point where you are just that predictable, and as far as your comments go? Think whatever you want baby girl. You can be pro-Nick Watson all you want. You can beat Anti-Michael all you want. You can hope and pray for the outcome to end badly for me all you want. In the end, it doesn’t change anything.
Carmen Rivera: Awww there it is that confidence that you are using as a front. You’re so cute when you get so worked up and when you think that you have everything all figured out. But you still don’t understand the concept that you are no longer in charge. You are no longer in control of things. Your words and your opinions don’t matter much like your wants, needs, and desires don’t matter either. You see the moment you decided to drop me like I didn’t matter anymore and the moment you decided that you weren’t going to need me anymore is when you officially screwed yourself career wise.
She looked at Harris shaking her head a little bit. It is almost like she herself had it all figured out and that she had a plan for him tonight. However with the face that Harris was giving clearly the two of them didn’t share the same views on the situation at hand.
Carmen Rivera: Of course it didn’t help matters any when you took away the one thing that mattered to me. Now I am going to make sure that you never achieve anything here in APW. Granted you aren’t talented enough to achieve anything in the first place and I am pretty sure that you couldn’t beat Nick Watson if your life depended on it. But just in case ‘lady luck’ as you would call it decides to show you. You can bet your sweet ass that you’re going to see me at ringside at some point tonight. Listen to me now so it doesn’t sting so much later, tonight you will not leave with a victory.
Michael Harris: Am I supposed to be afraid or something Carmen? If that’s what you’re looking for then you’re looking for the wrong thing. I’m not an idiot kiddo. I have been around the block quite a few times and I know what to expect. I knew you’d show up in fact I welcome you showing up tonight. The more odds against me the better, because that means when I prove you wrong and when I prove Watson wrong, by virtually beating two on one odds. I’m the one that looks good and you two both look like shit. Though I should go ahead and warn you right now. I have done made it clear that Watson is leaving tonight in the back of an ambulance. I have done made it clear that I am going to rid him of APW. I have done made it clear that tonight his career is going to come to an end.
It didn’t appear that the self-proclaimed Queen of North America cared about anything that was coming out of his mouth. She didn’t seem impressed or anything of that nature. However it wasn’t going to stop the Untouchable One from putting it all out there because this was a message that he was going to drive home for everyone to finally grasp and understand.
Michael Harris: So if you come out there tonight then you’re going to suffer the same fate. Consider it a two for one offer of some sorts. I’ll end two careers and not a single fuck will be given when I do, so if you want to take that chance by all means go for it. That is clearly up to you, but either way though tonight I win. You lose and so does Watson, there is no changing what is destined to happen. So remember these words that were spoken by Nas… You can hate me now, but I won’t stop!
For a few seconds the two of them just stood there glaring at each other. Their hatred for each other had grown to an unbelievable level. It had gotten to the point where people would actually pay to see the two of them compete against one another. In fact it was probably what the two of them needed to get everything out of their system. However that was going to be a match that had to wait for a little while.
On that note though, Harris proceeded to shove his way past Carmen and headed on down the hall to head to the gorilla position. All night long Harris had heard from three different people there was a chance that things didn’t go the way he wanted. He thrived off being doubted and he loved having the odds against him because that only motivated him to go the distance just a little bit more. As he continued on down the hall the cameras faded on out to static as Shockwave was about to experience on hell of a match.
