I hit the Twitter Feed for this. It was a surprise for me, didn't know he had been sick and in the hospital before now.

I am hearing about this a lot but I have no idea who this guy was. RIP to him anyway. He was in The Green Mile, most notably, as well as movies like Armageddon, Talladega Nights and Sin City among many, many others. RIP. Definitely a sad one to hear about.

I will always remember as Kingpin in Daredevil because he was the only tolerable character in that movie.
RIP MCD, they took his hands.

A Black Kingpin...I didn't understand that move. I guess no white dude could have appeared that BAWSE other than Delikado and he couldn't put on the proper amount of weight. Green Mile, I seen it in the theaters and at the end he tells Hanks he scared of the dark and doesn't want the hood. This dude turned and looked at me, he was crying HARD as hell, snot hanging from his nose. It ruined the movie at that point, GREAT movie, dude has had some decent roles.

I'm not sure but the original kingpin was black Uhhh..No...How many blacks do you know as the Right Hand of a Crime Boss? Kingpin first appeared in Daredevil as a White Fat Man in a White Suit. I knew not just because of Wikipedia but because my Gay Uncle loved Daredevil. YEAH...Sad but true. Like Catwoman, they changed the race of a Marvel Character. Not saying it's unfair cause there is a HUGE lack of Black or even Minority characters. Just no sense in confusing the lines as it clearly has been confused with TJ in this situation. This was the one role where it still fit but still didn't.

ya i think its bullshit that originality changes to suit the needs of those who complain about race. WHO CARES? its a fucking comic. wats next? a black superman? a white falcon? PFFT!!
theres alot more to complain about in this country than the race, sexuality, or gender of some comic book character......

He was a good spot on Two and a Half Men, wait you said Three and a Half Men? And Knuckles, they have a Black Superman. In a weird way I can see Batman as a Black guy and it fitting so well. I think they need a more balanced approach to comic book movies. While the average comic fan at any point in the history of comics have been white nerdy kids, black heros need to be used and promoted. The Rock signed on to play a Black Super Hero/Villain. A Intergalactic Bounty Hunter from Marvel. Dude is cool and it could be good if we don't all perish at the end of the year.

Batman is a poor black security guard. Superman is a weapon for America. Good shit

I think that is badass, I'd so read the Batman one. Also the Robin one, him working for a Villain and going after the Black Batman seems cool and could have worked. I know one of the Robins became a villain, I think the Jason Robin. Red Skull, Red Mask, can't remember what he went by when he went villain.
