Pretty bad when the only guy to leave feedback is a guy who isn't even on the brand

I don't normally post feedback on shows because I never have the time to, but considering the low output of feedback, I thought I'd throw in my thoughts on this week's Overdrive.
-The opening segment was written in a way that made it very easy to visualize what was going on, so big ups to TMarv for that. Good heel promo as well.
-I'll be honest, I don't really dig the Michael Harris character all that much. I enjoy Johnny Sykes so much more. It might be unfair to the character to compare him to his handler's other character, but Sykes is just so much more fun and interesting that I find Harris boring. That being said, I found myself rooting for Keaton Saint, even though I normally root for the heels!
-Also going against my tendency to like heels over faces, I like AC Smith. If things continue between him and Evan, I could see a potential double cross from Sienna down the line! That being said, I also love Evan Envi, so if they're feud continues, it would certainly be a positive in my book!
-So Kurt and I decided to do the dissolving marriage storylines at about the same time. Granted, Noble's wife was actually victimized in the ring, so I could see why she would be sore about that. I, for one, hope they can figure out how to stay together.
-As for my match with AC, I wrote it, I just hope that he, and everyone else for that matter, likes it. Like I said earlier, I am a fan of AC Smith, and wouldn't mind running a program with him in the future.
-Delikado is a character, plain and simple. Hugely entertaining. Also, it looks like Ceej and Deli were thinking about continuing their feud, but considering Jeff's announcement at the end of the show, that'll probably have to be put on hold for a bit.
-Enjoyed the match between Ceej and Deli, especially the finish with the Market Crash. CJ normally has to rely on his aerial attacks to finish matches, so putting over the Market Crash as a match ender helps to show that he's not a one trick pony. Deli's been on such a roll as of late that a loss to CJ won't hurt him.
-Love the line, "You suck, Shane. I like Hannah better!"
-Level-One vs. Mark Mania would have been a PPV Headlining match at one point, and it's great to see that the roster is so stacked at the moment that it's a midcard match! Love the dirty heel tactics from Lester to finish the match.
-I didn't like Chris Hart speaking french, although I understand why he did it, seeing as we were in France. What I would suggest next time is saying the French word, and then playfully insulting your opponent by saying it again in English, insinuating that you're more intellegent than your opponent, but also making sure that your readers don't have to open Babelfish.com in another tab! Otherwise, rock solid promo from Hart and Lester here. Also, a casket match in the lead up to One Night in Hell, that's just awesome!
-As a fan of the heels, I liked the no-finish for the Xtreme Title Match. It put Evan Envi over as the coward that he is, while also protecting Watson from taking a loss. I've been hard on Pence for all of his other characters over the years, but I'll say this much, Nick Watson is probably the most realistic, least annoying character he's run so far. (Never a fan of Pence being a wrestling mercenary who had a kid at 13 or 14...) Keep it up, dude!
-As for Jeff's announcement, I already knew going in that it was going to a be an Elimination Chamber, but I didn't know the participants. Simply put, I am looking forward to this match! Getting to go up against Terry Marvin, Kurt Noble, Level-One, Chris Hart, and my all time greatest nemesis CJ Gates is going to be a blast! But for the segment itself, good back and forth between TMarv and Noble, although I would have liked a little bit more talk of how dangerous of an environment the Chamber itself is. Granted, we have a few weeks to build, and I'm sure we'll get a great build going!
Overall, a solid, if unremarkable, show, and with the big announcement out of the way, I'm sure that next week we'll start to see the undercard of ONiH start to take shape.

That show was great!
Loved the segs, especially with Delikado and Gates. Great Stuff.
I really thought Saint had it in the back this week, but Harris pulled it out. Congrats man.
Kind of figured that Biggs would have won, mans a TANK!
Delikado vs Gates was a hard match for me to decide. Delikado is becoming a great around here, but Gates is one of my all time favs. So congrats Gates on a job well done.
Level One and.... Do i need to say more?
Evan flipped me out when he ran away with the title for some reason. STAY AND FIGHT MAN, lol. You are the Xtreme champion for a reason...
Now for the big announcement. I pictured in my mind for Noble getting a redemption shot, but when Jeff added Hart, Gates, Biggs, and L1. Totally blew my mind. That match is going to win Match of The Year Award!

Baw, pull my rubber leg will ya Jeff.
I'm not going to go into the depths that Biggs did. Instead I'm simply going to make a few mentions.
-Big Announcement: Absolutely stunned to get to be involved with this. I mentioned it in the chat but in the three years I've been running Chris Hart, this is the first time I've ever had a World Title shot. I'm hoping to send out a PM to a couple of the people involved to work on a few things in the next week - so check your PM boxes occasionally. In addition I think it speaks to the depth of APW that really five of the six in that match could win it because they're the past five Undisputed Champions. I don't think there's any other fed who can claim that in all honesty.
Envi is a fucking cock sucker and I love it. His segments are absolutely brilliant with A.C. Smith and the bitch move in the main event was classic. I'm absolutely thrilled to have him on Overdrive and I'm excited to see what happens going forward. I'd not forget about A.C. Smith as well - I mentioned a few months ago about the character slipping in my mind after a hyped debut and he's done a ton of work as of late and opened some eyes. The work with Envi I think could set up a long running feud as the two work up the card in APW. I'm glad it's not being rushed either as I think it has some legs to it. Let it ride through the Xtreme title, the Overdrive title, and I can see that being a potential Undisputed Title match in due course.
Gates/Delikado: Loved the segment, the way the match was setup and I'm kind of gutted that CJ is in the Elimination Chamber. I'm happy for CJ's handler (Lord knows I can remember his name at the moment - I want to say Mark but that doesn't stick) but think that a feud between CJ Gates and Delikado would have been an absolute blast to see and probably the time was right.
I will say that the one complaint I did have with the show was that more people didn't try and build off of Terry's segment even remotely. I think it was probably a function of time on some people's part but I think that a guy like Harris should have been talking about how the big thing coming out of Shockwave was his destruction of Carmen Rivera. I felt it could've been added in to the Envi/AC segment as well - not as a focus but a mention because it's such a changing event in the landscape of APW.
As a response to Biggs: Understandable - I just speak a little bit of french myself and often forget that most people won't be able to do the rudimentary translation.

I was waiting until I had time to pop up the feedback, since school and work have been kicking my butt. Poor time planning on my part. But here we go!
Per the norm with APW lately, Overdrive (and Asylum for that matter) seem to be getting PPV quality matches on regular shows. Not that it's a bad thing at all, it's just a huge credit to the amount of good talent we have in this fed.
With that said, there were some great matches this week. I'll echo the comments sent out by a few people above. The ending to the Xtreme title match was great, since it really helped push a few things forward, and also gave Envi more to his character. The way the Gates/Delikado match ended was good, in my eyes because, like Biggs said, I enjoyed the ending coming with something that wasn't the aerial attack. That was the big reason for the Market Crash, I wanted a finisher that could be hit out of no where and/or could end a match. Glad to see it's being used as such.
Big props to Delikado on the segment idea. He fired it over to me and it was too good an idea to pass up. Sure, the payoff at ONIH might not be on the horizon, but who knows what's to come down the line! After all, the Gates/Noble match at Rasslemania/Mayhem really started being built at Shockwave when Noble debuted.
There was just a lot of good that came from the show as a come down from the PPV. The opening segment was a great sell for the title and the new champion, and I enjoyed the interactions with each person. A lot of character stuff was put out by other guys, negative or positive, but I think that there's a lot of good things coming from what we're seeing.
The announcement at the end was a shock to me, since I figured there were a few others that might get chosen but, hey, I'm not going to complain. Honored and looking forward to the match since there are a lot of big time names in it that I've been looking forward to working with. And not to worry, I think there's plenty of time for each of us to sell the chamber for what it is.
Good job to everyone this week! Let's keep it rolling!
(Side Note: Yes Chris, my name IS Mark lol)

I'll have a full review once I reach my computer. I will say though, I feel that this episode accomplished exactly what a post-PPV show was supposed to.

My review would pretty much echo the rest of the voices on this. So I'll just skip to the "ANNOUNCEMENT"
I thought the build up was done very well and everything leading up to it was a real suspense builder. The announcement itself (though suspected) still knocked me on my ass due to the PEOPLE included. That is one CRAZY match and I expect some of the best rps of the decade to come out of that. I'm scared. Very scared.
But I thought that whole segment was done awesomely. Kudos to Jeff for that as he pretty much nailed My character (he asked for feedback and I had no changes)

I know what you mean about being scared. I got to admit that even I am scared about this week's tag team title match alone but I am going to try my best and I think you will too dude. Congrats to six people that are going to be in the match at the Pay Per View.

A little late, but here goes: First of all, I absolutely loved the opening segment. It was something that I'd expect from Terry and the live band was a nice touch. I love the fact that he was able to acknowledge everyone and sell their characters but still manage to put himself over in a heelish, but yet humanizing fashion. Hell-- it doubled as an amazing entrance to the international episode! It's one of those things that I'm able to read and then imagine vividly in my head, which is always a treat. I'm hoping this is the beginning of a long, healthy Marvin reign. Good back-and-forth action in the Saint vs Harris match. It was good for an opening contest and did a good job at featuring several near-falls and building suspense. Good matchwriting on display here. But I tip my hat to Harris for pulling off a much-needed victory. It's about time he starts working toward getting taken seriously. I'd like to see a bit more out of Keaton Saint though, especially since he was so close to becoming something big after his feud with Marvin. As usual, good work from Smith and I'm glad I was able to work with him and Pennington on the segment. The segment with Amy Noble afterward was nice to see, and gives us something to look forward to for next week. That's a confrontation I can legitimately say I'm interested in. Smith vs Biggs was one of the most well-written things of the evening. I'd like to see the series between the two continue at some capacity. Good display of ring psychology by Biggs, and I dug the false comeback at the end. I legitimately thought Biggs was about to get destroyed. I absolutely loved the Delikado/Gates/Delikado and Gates' mothers segments even though I didn't entirely understand it at first. I'll admit, I'm a little over seeing so many family members and in-laws brought into the mix on Overdrive-- but I have no room to talk. Good piece though, that will undoubtedly lead to a great payoff. The match afterward was a good little read, and gave Gates a deserved win over the champ. Surprised there were no post-match shenanigans but considering the length of the preceding segment, it makes sense. My segment came afterward and kudos to Jeff for spacing these all out perfectly-- Level One vs Mark Mania was a good read too. Congrats to L1, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't pulling for Mania in the "underdog" role. Would've shaken things up to see him pull it off. Normally Mania's not necessarily an underdog, but... It's L1. After this, there was an entertaining, if not predictable segment between Hart and L1. These two play off of each other very well, so the predictability can be ignored since we knew damn-well these two would be having a rematch. If it's anything near the level of the last one, I'm pumped. This feud has definitely put me behind the Chris Hart character. I'm quite proud of the Xtreme Title match, and I thank Watson for working with me on a lot of the spots. The no-finish was a last-minute surprise (for me anyway), but I like how things played out here. Honestly I'm not sure what to say that hasn't already been said about the announcement. Every man played his role in that segment very well, and Jeff picked the perfect times to speak-- and not to speak. I found myself more on Marvin's side throughout the argument with Noble, but that could just be my inner-heel. I look forward to the match though, but I look more forward to seeing how everyone (especially Noble-Hart) RPs for the match.
