As the scene opens up we are right behind Asylum’s interviewer, Shane West. He is walking down a long hall, until he comes across a door. The door says Shane Borderland on it. Shane knocks on the door and when he does, the door swings open from the impact of his knuckles. West decides to walk on in as he see’s Shane Borderland sitting on a bar stool, next to his mini bar. Borderland didnt hear the knock, probably because of the numerous beer cans on the bar. So West walks in a bit closer.
.:Shane West:.
Uhh, Shane?
.:Shane Borderland:.
JESUS!!!
Shane is frightened with West’s approach and he falls off the stool, spilling beer all over himself.

Sorry Shane, didnt mean to scare you like that.

Phew... Just glad to see its you West.

Because West. Didnt you see what i did at Shockwave? I interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match. Knocked Sally in the dome with a steel chair and i laughed in Bailey’s face, practically. So i know Bailey isnt too happy about me interfering and i know Sally wants to get some revenge. So im just waiting any minute for one of the two to sneak up behind me and knock me the hell out.
Borderland gets to his feet and takes off his beer soaked shirt that he has on and throws it onto a coffee table. He then picks the stool back up and places it next to the bar. He slides one out for West also.

Borderland pops open another tab from a Bud Light can.

Well to be honest, everyone thinks im trying to prove something here. I could really care less if i beat Bailey and win the title.

Well by doing that, i put myself in the main event picture. I didnt get anything “handed” to me, i saw the opportunity and i delivered. So why do i get hated on for that? Maybe its because i cracked Bailey’s secret wanna be girlfriend on the noggin? Who knows, all i know is that this match will be a good one. I know Bailey is one hell of a champion, so why should i get a chance? I see the other people in the back and they are mad because i got a shot before they did. Not my fault guys. I just was faster to pull the trigger than you. So me doing that on Shockwave, puts me in a chance of a lifetime moment.

I see Shane. So you came back onto Asylum and first thing you did was go after the Champion. So start strong and go to the weak?

Well i figured if i take out the best, then that means i am the best. When i first came back, Kash was the champion. Then he got beat by Bailey, so Bailey was the man at that point and time. Now, theres a new sheriff in town and im calling the shots. I have never in my entire career of professional wrestling had a World Championship Title shot. So im not going to beat around the bush West. If i win, that would be the best single greatest moment to ever happen to me in my life. If i lose, oh well. I will be going back after it in no time. But see everyone thinks my motive is to go around and try to beat the champion on every show i go to. Well that seems about right for any superstar wanting to do that, am i wrong? I dont think so, But see thats not entirely true. Before, when i first came into APW, thats all i wanted to do. I seen all these big names in here and i tried to become someone i wasnt.

I was scared West. For the first time that i can remember in my life, i was actually scared. I walked in the APW ready to have my ass handed to me on a silver platter. But i actually didnt do such a bad job. I held my own, but in doing that i became someone i wasnt. Someone who didnt give a shit about nothing besides hearing my theme music after a match, winning gold, and the fame. So everyone that truly knows me, still thinks that is what im about till this day.
Borderland tilts his head back and takes a big swig from the can of all glorious.

I actually do care somewhat about the game. I dont do this just for the fame and winning matches and collecting titles. I do it because i love it, its my life. I want to show people that im better than them in every aspect of the game.See Bailey thinks that all i want is his title. True, i wouldnt mind having that title wrapped around my waist. Being called the World Heavyweight Champion would sound damn good to me. But thats not the whole reason. See, competing with you Bailey, must mean i am one of the top dogs on the Asylum show now. I know that there is some hellacious competition such as Kash, Callahan, TJ, Knuckles, and many more. But for me to come right on in and get a shot, must mean something. No it doesnt mean i got it handed to me, i made that plain clear like the day is long. But another reason why i wouldnt mind taking that gold from your waist is to prove my biggest point. See, you beat Kash, so if i beat you, then that must mean i am better than Kash and why would i be his shadow? Doesnt make since now does it Bailey? So for this to happen, would make my whole statement about not being a shadow, would be so much clearer now. See this problem has been eating me alive for quite some time now. So here is my chance to destroy that feeling inside me and start over fresh. Your just the lucky one that gets to be apart of this Bailey.

Yes West. That has been a pain that i cannot get rid of, especially if i here it every match i go through. So after this match, whether i win or lose, i hope this proves my point. Bailey, it doesnt matter how much you want to keep that title, I want it more. Defending a Championship like that, match after match, takes a skill. A skill that most of us on Asylum lack. But for me, im willing to do anything and everything to get this point across and prove to everyone that i can overcome that skill. See, you want to trash talk me, say things that you really dont have a clue on what the hell your talking about? Thats good, i expect that coming from a champion. The problem is, the only thing you got on me is you beat my “old” partner. I have nothing on you that i can think of, besides that your number one on my list. But every superstar is gunning for you, so why would mine make a difference? Maybe its because its the devotion i have for the game. Maybe its because im sick and tired of hearing the same shit day by day. I really dont know, but what i do know is that i am coming for you and that title. Im going to show my true dominance of Asylum and then maybe i can get the respect that i finally deserve.

Maybe the kind of knowing who i am, but not the kind that i have been driving towards since the day i stepped foot into a APW ring. I have been up and down on that ladder to success, but still no recognition. The only thing that i am remembered for is being second runner up in the 2011 Test for the Best tourney and holding one half of the tag titles with Kash. So its time for me to put on my big boy shoes and run this place once and for all. I havent even held one singles championship in my whole time of being on the roster West. So what does that show? Exactly what people has been saying to me daily, i am the shadow of Jason Kash. So i think its time for people to say, Shane Borderland is the man that im after, he is first on my list. Thats what im looking for West. Its time for me to be the man on top, the number one man of Asylum. So this match against Bailey, just doesnt prove who can hold a championship. It proves that i am my own man and i will show my dominance. Bailey, if you come out of this ring alive and still holding that championship, then congrats to you. But somewhere, somehow, i just dont see that happening for you this time. You have been up against some of the best names on Asylum and still you have came out on top. This time, the tides have changed and the new, better improved Shane Borderland is going to be victorious. Its my time to stand up on that mountain and look down at all the peasants that want to stand where i am. So come Asylum, dont be thinking that the old Shane Borderland is going to be standing across from you in that ring. I want more than blood this time. As Shane gets done, he raises the beer can that has water dripping off the sides, to his mouth and downs the rest of the beer. West sits there with a shocking look on his face as Borderland crushes the can and lays it on the bar.
