Thanks to Yarmouth and Evan Envi for picking up matches this week.
Segment points go to Level-One, Michael Lively, Tommy Bartlett, M&M, Evan Envi, and Vincent Pennington.
Sorry for the late results this evening but they are out. Feel free to leave feedback, both positive and negative, on this thread. I should have next weeks card out sometime tomorrow.

Lively continues to MURDER everything he touches as far as segments go. I must say, he is becoming my favorite guy on the entire roster and understand completely how he's HoF and Grand like me. Haha just saying that feels big headed..
Shadow beating Streets wasn't a surprise to me, good match, the rps for this were decent as well. I'd like to see more from Shadow though, he just seems to go under the radar for me since his return. I'd like to like the character but I'm waiting for a spark to give that attention and become a fan.
Krunk! Very cool that you got the victory man, I knew you could put forth the effort to get a big win. Congratulations man! I'm glad you used the advice I gave you and see that you can improve from that. Anytime you need some help man, I'll give you what I can. Good win, another big test next week so I'm excited for you. Good luck.
I'd say with 2 losses now, The European Invasion has fallen off the ladder they had risen too getting the #1 Contendership. Good, bad, and now it's getting ugly so I hope to see both of them pick up the missing pieces and bounce back. Hopefully it's after Raab and Kash tangle and get mangled. I like Meltdown and people need to quit sleeping on this shit. Level One appearing is fine and dandy but if Megastars aren't competing, helping promote talent then it can never really be given the respect it deserves as a start up brand for APW.

First off Level One, great for THE MAN to make an appearance. Now I will be the first maybe second behind LO to let you know that he and I have butted heads in the past and will forever be locked together in one of Lively's most dastardly actions EVER. It doesn't need to be rehashed, and all water has passed under the bridge. I only mention it because I still feel bad, but none the less. With that being said, I respect this dudes abilities as a writer like a mark ass bitch. I read his shit, then read it again, then I say...fuck me why didn't I think of that. Anyways I have coddled his balls long enough. Simply put I love LO Lively jabs. And like I said before bring back Justin Job!!!
Next up tag team match, well written. I love the tag teams jumping on board here. M&M good job.
Evan Envi, another masterful son of a bitch. Building stories all over APW. Well done my friend I am intrigued.
Next the Collins, Andrews, Bartlett. Three solid RP's, three solid characters. A great written match, good RP's and looking forward to seeing more from each.
Now, the segment in which my name was tossed around in the mud. I must say, I read that and laughed. That was a lot of adjectives, and mostly all fitting. MOSTLY! I love this, makes sense to me if a wrestler wants to jump up, why not call out the champ. Hell Mannie hit me up about a segment and I'm down for anyone poking Lively in the chest. Lord knows if I was on another show (Asylum, eh-hmm) I would sure as shit walk up to a champion over there (Jason Kash, eh-hmm) and poke him in the chest. It's only fitting, hell who knows maybe Lively will jump over there when a young buck, or Doe relieves me of the 12 pounds of North American greatness, business could pick up as they say. Grand slam sounded cool until someone else Kashed it in, maybe Lively could finish off the Holy Grail and like a Pokemon Master Catch Em All.
Well way off topic, my bad I do that, and too fucking bad get used to it.
Streets Wilson, Shadow...I loved the match. I know there are a shit load of Marks here for one Another but before marking out for each other was cool, I was a fan of Streets Wilson. His RP's are simply comedic gold for me. Anyways close match congrats Shadow.
Next the main event. Great read, had me in the match the whole time. Congrats to Krunk, I seriously over looked you as did Salieri and you snuck it out, but in all honesty you EARNED it!!! Job well done...now all I say is the belt is dangling between my legs...COME GET YOU SOME SUNSHINE!
The finish was great, I love getting laid out. Im not being sarcastic either, felt genuine when I said that. Anyways it was a realistic finish to me, and sold Salieri as a bad ass. Put him over and I'm pumped for the triple threat next week. If you ask Lively he would say give them all a shot, hell line up the whole roster. Great show guys. Match writing superb, segments perfection, participation excellent. DDP self high fives for all of you involved!!!!

It's because we love each other as close to the gay but still straight line as a straight man can go without being gay. Make sense?

Glad you liked the main event that was my first even main event i have written, I tried to make everyone long strong in that match and it showed i think anyway. Like the level one appearance but made no seance if he's not competing but it was a great segment all the matches were well written and segments too like I always say segments make the show what it is. Fantastic job Rebel Meltdown just gets better and better each week and also I think M&M are the next tag team to go places in APW I like these guys a lot.

- At First I was like 'WTF is L-1 doing on Meltdown' Is there any real need for it? Surely he is too big for a brand liek Meltdown...
and then it sinks in. Actually he is there to encourage people to step up there game and fight for a place because eventually you can get to overdrive.
Nicely done because ti builds up heat for him and Asylum and the 'stars' of Meltdown get to hear advice from a legend.
- Tag Match. Whoever wrote this (envi I think) deserves a pat on the back, top notch work. Its hard to see a new team come in and there is always a doubt as to whether they will show or not, but the didnt have that feel to it. It was evenly matched, put both teams over and the loss did ComiKaze no harm here. Congrats to M&M I will be back. Although its hard to go up against two talented writers, let alone one.
- Really long segment with Storm/Lively/Bartlett. Lost me half way through, I felt it just didnt have that final 'punch'
Also, I know t wont change anything but Storms colour Purple is really hard to read, especially against lighter colours.
***** Lively: Listen I'm not sure what your question was, kind of sounded like a statement.
Storm: Well it has been reported that Sabur and an unknown gentlemen equally as massive and devastating were the culprits. *****
I just find that really hard to read.
- M&M looking like they were getting their title shot. Good segment, not overly long and hits the point. More interaction instead of huge blocks of text. They deserve this match though, I mean they have defeated European Invasion and Comikaze. From what i have read they coudl give Hart-Noble a run for their money
- Two segments and amatch revolving around Envi/Pennington/Tek. From thsi I take it Pennington is moving up to Overdrive to challenge for the Xtreme title right?
Although it was a good segment, if the above isnt happening then I dont understand why it happened? I know ther is history there, but with L-1 already making an appearance, did Envi need to return?
- Must have been ahrd to pick a winner in the Collins/Andrews/bartlett Match. All worthy winners, Great match
- Great Main Event with the guys involved, thats what a Main Event should entail, great work on the RPs guys
*****
Ok, so I am new to meltdown, but a couple of things that stood out for me..
- There was a conversation in the match writing thread about the matches
"Summarized results for Meltdown. "The main event is written in full however. "Thanks for clarifying that Envi, completely forgot.
Yet the Main event was actually shorter than the opening tag match.
Although it seems like a complaint, I actually loved the opening match but the Main Event needed more in it. I understand it was yarmouths first attempt at a main event, but it was lacking. Triple threats are hard to write, I always stay away from them. DOnt give up, I jsut think this needs to be looked at when the matches are being written. All Summarized and Main Event in Full, or All summarized.
Bear in mind this is the first Meltdown I have read, so other weeks may very well be different.
or i could be totally wrong and that convo was wrong.
- The show seemed segment heavy in places and a little unbalanced at times. For example
Open Show - Segment - Match - Segment - Segment - Segment - Match - Segment - Match - Segment - Match - Match
Again, I dont know if this is the 'norm' because its the first Meltdown I have read. But these are just thiongs I picked up on.
- Alot of crossover with L-1 and Envi taking 3 out of 6 segments. SI this down to Meltdown guys not submitting anything? Because if that is the case, I knwo where I need to go now and segments will start flowing.
- Of the other three segments, 2 were M&M and one Lively.
^^^^ Nothing wrong with this, but as a kick in teh balls to the rest of us, we really need to get some things going so we make meltdown stand out for being about Meltdown!!
^^^ So to follow that up, Not sure where Rebel is heading with the team, so if anyone wants to run with something, hit me up.
Sorry if this is all a bit 'IN YOUR FACE' buts its honest feedback and not jsut 'oh yeah it was great'

- I approached Leve-One when I decided to book Meltdown from Toronto, where his character called home. He wasn't initially going to do, instead posting a house show RP, but I'm glad he changed his mind. Folks, there are few that can write like Level-One, and his spot in efedding is unrivaled, IMO.
If you're looking to motivation, he gave it to you, IMO.
- The match writing thing is often an issue, as we seem to get a mixed bag. Sometimes we have people write full on matches and some who summarize. You're correct in that we have to start working on that part of the results.
and
- I agree with you on the flow of the shows. I tend to place everything at the beginning of the card and the momentum begins to slow. I'll admit this week, opening the show with Level-One was a last minute addition, so that messed a little up from the way I had it skeletoned out. However, thanks for the feedback...and will work to adjust accordingly.
