The scene opens up backstage at Monday’s Overdrive. It’s about half hour after the show went off the air. Most of the wrestlers have already showered up and left the arena. As part of a actionpackedwrestling.tk exclusive video, you see the video come on with a shot of a door opening. The camera man walks in where The Hardcore Kid is sitting on a chair, still in his ring gear. All bloodied from an attack by Tony Blackwell and Sabur earlier, An EMT is standing over The Kid, and is putting stitches on the top of his head.
THK: Ouch!
EMT: I’m almost done.
THK: Those guys are going to pay for what they did to me.
EMT: You should just be lucky that you don’t have a concussion.
The kid winces in pain as the EMT pulls the thread through the cut, closing it shut and then snips the thread with scissors.
EMT: Not bad, six stitches. Just take it easy, you don’t want to reopen that up.
THK: Don’t worry Doc, I’ll be resting up so I can be ready to go for Sunday in the Table’s match.
EMT: I don’t think that’s a good idea.
THK: Then do you want to take my place in the match.
EMT: I can’t stop you from wrestling in the match. I can only advise you not to.
THK: We’ll, I’m one half of the tag team champions and I’m defending my title at Apocalypse.
EMT: If you say so. I’m done with you now. Good luck.
The EMT leaves as the Kid takes a water bottle and splashes his face and wipes off some of the dried up blood off his face. The Kid turns and stares into the camera.
THK: Look at my face. Look at the stitched up cut on the top of my head. Tonight was an Roller Coaster ride for me. I started the night fighting my boss. A legend in this business, one of the best and even though Kenny Lambardo helped me, I walked out with the victory. The biggest victory of my career, even in my life. But then, it turned for the worst, I was backstage, minding my own business, watching my partner, Jason Royce’s match against Steve Hawkens and I get blind sided from behind. Two thugs, Tony Blackwell and Sabur. A two on one attack. A six foot seven, two hundred fifty five pound Xtremist and a six foot two, two hundred and ninety seven pound Irish hammer beating up on a rookie kid. Yah, you guys are real tough. You guys are cowards for all attacks on Jason and I. But right now, I have no idea what I got hit with that ripped open my flesh to make the blood pour out, because most of the attack to me was a blur, and before I knew it, I was getting picked up from being put through a table. You guys think bullying Royce and I is going to help you beat us. Sure we’re weak right now. Sure, we’re sore as hell, but I for one am sick and tired of always getting my ass kicked. I’m fed up with being considered a joke. What you guys did was wake up a sleeping dragon. You casted the first stone and lit a fire under my ass. You boys want a war, well, get ready because your going to get one.
The Kid pulls his hair back and shows the camera the stitches.
THK: Six stitches in my head because of you cowards. Its one thing to bleed in the ring, but it’s another to make someone bleed in efforts to gain an advantage. You boys may thing that your just going to walk into this match and put us through a few tables and that’s gonna be it. You think we’re gonna be a walk in the park, but you guys are in for a rude awakening. I’m going into this match with the same intensity I had last Month at Test for the Best. No one though we could pull out the win against “That Team” of Spirit and Diana Steel Lambardo, may god rest her soul. But we beat them and we shocked the world. No one thought I was going to beat President Jeff. People were telling me that it was pointless for me to bother fighting back and that I should just lay down. But the records show that I hold a victory over the boss.
The Kid smiles over the achievement
THK:Everyone keeps thinking that Jason and I don’t deserve to beat wearing these titles and that our win was a fluke. Well, we’re now here to prove that wasn’t a fluke and that we are worthy of holding such a prestigest title. At Apocalypse, Tables match, many tables will be broken, and when it’s all over, Jason and I are walking out still the champs. One way or another boy’s, these two Underdogs are here to stay. And nothing, nothing is going to make this victory sweeter than winning this match in my home town, in front of my fans and family. And to beat you Sabur, in your home town in front of YOUR friends and family. You may have beaten me once already Sabur, but it’s different this time around. I’ve been going to the MGM Grand Garden arena since I was a kid. Every since I went to see all five WCW Halloween Havocs at that arena, it was in 1996 when I watch the amazing match between Dean Malenko and Rey Mysterio Jr, that I realized that I wanted to be a wrestler and that when I achieved that dream, I wanted to wrestle in Vegas. The time now, and I’m going to do what ever I can to make sure, Jason and I win this Sunday. Don’t under estimate us boys, because when you do, we bring you STRAIGHT TO HELL!
The Kid throws his bloody towel at the camera then walks past the camera as it fades out.
