Tag Team Division

Just throwin it out there...

We're trying to instill the Tag team division around these parts... And we want it to be more less on an equal running with the solo belts right? If this is such the case, why then is it that we lessen our expectations of Tag team competitors and champions. Anyone else for PPVs are expected to write 2 rps... Any title match period are to write 2 rps... But the tag team divison no matter what or when is always one per person... Why is that? Its not like its 1 person writing for 2 characters so they in turn have to write 4 rps...

If we want the tag division to really excel, I think we have to up the ante, and bring them up to the rest of our levels. Just Twister's two cents! Pay up!

Well, in my opinion, a good tag team writes both RPs together. That's what gives it that team value. Forcing them to do 4 RPs could be a little much.


But, if everybody's just doing their own thing, then I guess we could bump it up.

I agree with that. Last year I was a multiple-time Tag Team Champion, even holding two different sets of Tag Titles at the same time, and we worked together as a team to do RPs. One RP per tag team member equals two RPs in my opinion. A tag team performs as a single entity, IMHO, and two RPs per team sounds like enough to me.

The problem I'm seeing is that the Tag Titles haven't been looked upon as equal to the singles titles. There's a lack of competition for the most part which has nothing to do with the actual Tag Team Titles and moreso to do with the idea that most people like to do their own thing and don't thrive well as a team. I think that maybe there should be a random pairing tournament to spark the Tag Team Division possibly after Shockwave. I think if we make a concerted effort to woo Tag Teams here plus do the Random Pairing Tournament that the Tag Division would be exciting again.

What I mean by Random Pairing Tournament is that we have management pair anyone not holding a singles title off into random teams and have a tournament with the winner facing the champs at September's PPV. this would add new levels to people's RPs ("Can I trust my partner?") as well as spice up the division.

With that said I think we need a Tag Team Application as well, mainly to make it easier for tag teams to join.

I never thought of it that way - but good points guys. Im not convicned our tag teams work together on their rp's though I could be wrong... But I can see where your coming from.

I don't have a problem as I'm in control of both of my member's and will be the next Tag Champions it true cause I say so!!!!

Good luck with that.....because whether or not the APW World Title stays on my shoulder going into Shockwave and afterwards....I'm coming for the APW World Tag Team Titles next - and I've been scouting potential partners for about a week now.

Oh have you if I had know that I would of gone in hideing not lol You can keep comeing for them but when I'm undefeated and Tag Champion you have no chance at all lol.
