The Deli Tee Vee saga continues to grow stranger and stranger as reports are coming in from the "Something LOUD and OBNOXIOUS" HQ in Washington DC that the Overdrive Champion has suddenly fallen ill after apparently being bitten by a deranged, bloodthirsty bunny rabbit. The Deli Tee Vee crew is said to be caught up in the madness as well, as some of its ranks have been weakened from an alleged case of rabies that plagued the building and the surrounding environment. Stocks for Something LOUD and OBNOXIOUS have dropped considerably since this information became public. However, Internet searches for 'Delikado', 'rabies', and 'Does Delikado have rabies?' have been through the roof.
At the time this breaking news hit, Delikado and his crew had been merging his entertainment empire with the tabloid, which we have learned was not completely supportive of the idea of a "nutty Cuban" running their business. This begs the question if this shocking event was a mere coincidence...or something FAR more vicious.
Few additional details are available, but assurances have been made that the Overdrive Champion WILL be at the Overdrive event in Sweden, and that he WILL be competing against Keaton Saint as the original Overdrive card has portrayed. No one in the APW has made comments on the matter since, and it is unclear what condition "The Bawse" will be in come show time. Regardless, thoughts and prayers have been asked for by Delikado's top staffers to help them through this difficult, if not batshit crazy, time.
