''Have you come to a decision yet?''
A ghostly white man with dark spots around his eyes gingerly stepped into the frame before he greeted the client in his office with a smile.
''Oh, yes.''
The client replied in the process of lifting his head.
''I think I have found the perfect one...''
The client was none other then APW Mega Star, Level-One. He held up the catalog in front of the mans face.
Casket dealer: Are you sure? You know, we have far better options for your precious loved ones you may be able to afford, sir.
Level-One: No, this is perfect.
Casket dealer: This one tends to rot after a few months and is vulnerable to termites, sir. Your friend, I'm sure he deserves better than this.
Level-One shoved the catalog into the mans sternum knocking the wind out of him.
Level-One: I said it's perfect.
Pyro shoots from the stage as the camera pans across the sounds, highlighting the various signs, which include "TOMMY BARTLETT LIKE LITTLE BOYS" and "AMY NOBLE IS HOTTER THAN CHRIS HART". The camera snaps to Johnny Chase and Darren Harvey at the commentating table.
Harvey: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another explosive edition of Thursday night Overdrive!
Chase: Tonight Folks, its VIEWERS CHOICE! All matches seen tonight we're hand picked by YOU!
Harvey: We’ve got an exciting night laid out tonight for everyone here tonight. We will see a rematch from Test for the Best. Terry Marvin takes on AC Smith in a non title contest
Chase: Also tonight, we will see the #1 Contender for the overdrive title, Mark Mania take on a former Undisputed champion, CJ Gates!
Harvey: And in tonight’s Main Event, A Mix tag match, Kurt Noble and Ellie team up to take on Biggs and Amy Noble
Chase: What a interesting match that is. But lets talk about the opening match which is about to take place/color]
Harvey: Two weeks ago this match was announced and honestly, it’s really all that’s be talked about since outside of the Elimination Chamber.
Chase: Which is really a pity because Chris Hart has no business even being in this match. What has the kid done to make him deserving of carrying Level-One’s jockstrap let alone sharing a ring with him.
Harvey: I would imagine being a tag team champion?
Chase: And you deserve a hall of fame nod just because you’re partnered with the greatest colour man in wrestling history. That’s why you like Chris so much Darren, you’ve made your living mooching off of me!
‘Give It All’ by Rise Against fills the arena, interrupting the commentary team as the crowd rise to their feet and Level-One emerges from the back to Venue Shaking heat.
Paige: Ladies and gentleman the following contest is a Casket Match. Introducing first, from Toronto, Canada … he is a four time APW Undisputed Champion … Level-One!
Level-One slides into the ring and immediately goes to his corner. No acknowledging the crowd, no posturing, purely focused on the task at hand
Get up, get down, lose that sound …
Drop the Bass!
Drop the Bass!
The lights in the arena go down as the opening beat of Cinema hit’s the dark arena replacing ‘Give It All’. After a longer than usual time, the pink laser lights flash all around the arena and smoke begins to fill the entrance stage
Paige: And his opponent, from Calgary, Canada. He is one half of the APW Tag Team Champions … Chris Hart!
Finally Chris Hart emerges from the back behind Level-One, steal chair in hand. As opposed to slamming it into his skull however, Chris slams into in the ring post catching Level-One slightly off guard as he pinwheels around and glares at Chris who drops the steel chair only to raise his portion of the tag title belt in the air, rubbing a little more salt in the wound.
Harvey: Let the mind games begin!
Chase: Is he just trying to piss off Level-One more.
Level-One jumps out of the ring in an attempt to attack Chris Hart but Chris deftly evades him and slides into the ring as the lights in the arena come up. Frustrated, Level-One slams his fists on the canvas. Chris goes to his corner and removes the Djurgarden jersey he’s wearing before tossing it into the crowd as Level-One climbs back into the ring. Chris pins around and tries to goad him into a fight to put him on edge but Level-One refuses to take the bait, instead just staring across the ring at Chris.
Level-One vs. Chris Hart
Casket Match
As the bell sounds neither man moves, each man taking a moment to stare each other down. The crowd starts to chant as Chris looks around for a moment before finally the two come together in a ferocious clash. Locking up collar and elbow, Level-One looks to use his strength advantage to push Chris Hart back into the corner but the pugnacious Hart quickly switches out, taking the back of Level-One and throwing him to the ground with a perfect waistlock takedown.
Floating across his back, he locks him in a front facelock as Level-One tries to push himself up to his knees but eats a vicious knee right to the skull from Chris Hart that stuns him. Chris takes the moment to grab hold of the arm and rolls through with it – looking for a quick crucifix armbar. He locks it in as Level-One roars in pain as the crowd looks on.
Chase: Of course Chris Hart would look to score with a submission victory in a casket match. There’s a reason he hasn’t won since Pence Weatherlight was actually significant.
Harvey: Yes but if he breaks the arm of Level-One he’s going to make it a lot easier to walk out victorious.
Chris wrenches the arm as Level-One slams his hand on the mat, before quickly pushing his hands apart and rolling into the hold and ending up nearly in the guard of Chris Hart before pushing right through into a mount and unleashing absolute bombs from the top, mercilessly slamming his fist into the face of Chris Hart who has seemingly no where to go.
As Level-One looks to throw another haymaker Chris throws his hand up in self-defence before deftly snatching the arm of Level-One and pulling him into him – before throwing his hips off and rolling right into a poor Kimura. It serves it’s purpose though as Level-One quickly rolls off of Hart in order to alleviate the pressure on his arm, allowing Chris to roll off the other way and quickly pop up to his feet. A minute in and the match essentially in the same position it started.
The two come together again and this time Hart decides to shoot for a double leg takedown but Level-One sprawls to block it, before working up to his feet and tossing Chris into the ropes. On the rebound he looks to take his head off with a lariat but Chris ducks underneath and jumps into the ropes, coming off and looking to connect with a hurricanrana – wasting no time in pulling out the stops. Level-One however catches him and manages to stay on his feet. Stuck in no man’s land, Chris begins to rain down punches to the skull of Level-One but they have little effect on the larger man – who sends Chris thundering down, his neck snapping against the turnbuckle in the corner.
Harvey: You have to think the neck of Chris Hart is going to be the target of Level-One – less than three weeks after that devastating Level-Advance from atop the ladder left Chris in the hospital.
Chase: And that’s where he should have stayed. Level-One gave him a chance but tonight he’s not going to be so lucky. Kill One! Kill!
Level-One doesn’t waste any time on Chris Hart, grabbing hold of him as he grimaces holding onto his neck and pulls him out of the corner, only to toss him back into it – sending Chris slamming shoulder first into the turnbuckle. Level-One quickly ducks out of the ring and charges along the ring apron – looking to connect with a Yakuza kick on Chris Hart and send his skull into the ring post but Chris pulls out of the way just at the nick of time, sending Level-One jumping off the ring apron to the floor below.
Chris uses the ropes to pull himself up straight as Level-One re-enters the ring. Chris fires a big right hand that partially scores before Level-One connects with a knee lift and tosses Chris into the ropes. On the rebound he takes him down with a big clothesline – then hits the ropes himself and connects with a yakuza kick on Chris as he tries to get to his feet.
Chris is sprawled out on the canvas and Level-One looks at the canvas for a moment before waving his hand at it dismissively and pulling Chris to his feet – who fires a punch right into the midsection which stuns him – allowing Chris to connect with a jawbreaker that opens Level-One up. Hitting the ropes hard Chris comes off and connects with a busaiku knee kick which knocks Level-One down to the canvas as the crowd roars.
Harvey: Level-One decided to get a little cocky there and showboat and it cost him.
Chase: Cost him? Let’s be honest here Darren, you’ve got a better chance of getting laid tonight than Chris does of putting Level-One in that casket.
Chris picks Level-One up and tosses him into the corner before following him in with a big clothesline. Pulling him out he flips him with an arm drag before getting to his feet and charging with another busaiku knee kick attempt but Level-One ducks out of the way of this one. Chris hits the ropes and Level-One looks to back body drop him but Chris counters it and tosses him with another armdrag. Rolling to his feet he flips Level-One again – and again – and again, before finally the big man gives up as Chris looks at him lying flat on his back after the fourth one in succession. Level-One slowly drags himself to the ropes as the crowd roars as Chris nods his head in agreement.
Chris waits for Level-One to get to his feet before charging and connecting with a flying forearm that sends both men flying over the top rope and crashing to the floor around ringside. It takes a moment before both are able to get to their feet and when they do Chris looks to slam Level-One’s face into the ring post but the much larger man manages to arrest his momentum and save himself, before countering and slamming Chris face first into the steel ring steps.
Chris’ neck whips up before it gets slammed into it again as Level-One watches sadistically. Pulling Chris away from the ring steps, he feigns tossing him over the guard railing into the stands before pin-wheeling and firing him into the steel ring steps, dislodging them from their base.
Harvey: Chris Hart had the momentum there but the brute strength advantage of Level-One allowed him to turn the tables in his favour.
Level-One flips up the ring apron and grabs hold of an a-frame ladder. Smiling for a moment he puts one half on the edge of the ring apron, the other all the way across so it rests on the barricade between the ring and fans. Turning around to face Chris Hart, he eats a blow from a metal skillet he’s pulled out from under the ring, stunning him long enough for Chris to get to his feet and grab hold of him in a three quarters face lock.
Leaping up into the air, he pushes off of the ring post and looks to float over top with a Hart Break but Level-One manages to push him off as he floats over. Chris completes the flip however, landing on his feet and when Level-One turns around he gets caught by another busaiku knee kick that sends him crumpling into the ring steps.
Chris looks to take advantage of the opportunity as he pulls Level-One to his feet and drags him towards the casket, attempting to toss him in. He gets a portion of Level-One in before he fights back, managing to push himself out and slide back into the ring. Chris doesn’t give him any reprieve though, grabbing hold and unleash another devastating knee to the downed opponent. With Level-One rocked, Chris presses him into the ropes before looking to whip him across the ring. He stops halfway through though and flips Level-One around and sends him back into the near ropes, allowing Chris to connect with a modified scoop slam using Level-One’s own momentum against him. Level-One arches his back in pain as Chris delivers a stiff kick to the back of the neck.
Harvey: There’s been a frenetic pace to this match. Neither man is giving the other an inch of breathing room.
Chase: Which is surprising because I would’ve thought that Chris would’ve ran away scared by now like he did at Shockwave.
Harvey: Conveniently forgetting it was a tactical manoeuvre that allowed him to gain the upper hand.
Chase: Since when is cowardice a ‘tactical’ manoeuvre?
Chris pulls Level-One to his feet and looks to connect with a Hart Break but once again Level-One blocks it and again Chris manages to stick the landing. When Level-One turns around Chris hits him with a huge roundhouse kick that sends him stumbling into the ropes. Chris immediately goes back on the attack, grabbing hold of a stunned Level-One as he ducks out of the ring. Pulling Level-One out so his legs rest on the ring ropes – Chris stands perched on the very edge of the ring apron at about a ten degree angle.
Holding him up for a second, Chris drops down, sending himself tumbling back first onto the floor at ringside – in the process however he connects with a dragon screw neck whip, snapping the neck of Level-One rapidly and sending it unprotected into the edge of the ring apron, before he tumbles down to the floor next to Chris as the crowd roar!
Chris gathers his breath as Level-One kicks the ground in pain, holding onto his neck as he thrashes about. When Chris gets to his feet he looks at the casket around the other side, then at Level-One before he reaches under the ring apron and pulls out two tables. Setting them up, Chris keeps a close watch on Level-One who finally begins to his feet. Chris hits him with a stop sign he pulls out from underneath the ring, staggering him slightly which allows Chris to get him into position, pulling him up onto the ring apron before perching him on the top rope.
Checking the alignment between the tables and Level-One, Chris scales the top rope himself, pulling Level-One to his feet before locking him into a three quarters facelock. With one last look at the tables, Chris launches himself over top of Level-One – but that last look costs him as Level-One wraps his legs around the ring post, hanging on while at the same time pushing Chris off, over top of the tables and landing split legged on the barricade as every male member of the audience grimaces with him!
Harvey: You have to sympathize with Chris Hart for the absolutely terrible landing.
Chase: If he had anything I would but look at him; you’ve got be kidding if you think he’s not rocking a camel toe in those board shorts.
Level-One takes a few moments to gather himself on the top rope as Chris slowly teeters off the barricade to ringside floor. Content with his stamina, Level-One looks down at Chris as he’s just barely pushing himself up and waits for a moment until he’s almost straight before flying off the ropes and connecting with a vicious clothesline that knocks Chris down. Level-One looks at the casket and at Chris getting back to his feet slowly and shrugs his shoulders before heads towards the announce table area – yelling at Nicky Paige to get out of his way.
Grabbing the steel chair Level-One goes back to Chris, now to his feet and uses the blunt edge as a weapon, slamming it into his stomach doubling him over, before flipping it around and cracking him in the back three times, finally sending him to the ground. Looking down he raises the chair over his head before he lowers it, smiling to himself as he opens it up and sticks it right in front of Chris Hart. Taking a seat on it for a moment he slaps Chris in the face a couple of times as he talks shit – before Chris defiantly reaches up and smacks Level-One a single time, bringing a smile to Level One’s face.
As he turns back around he unleashes a vicious right hand that rocks Chris long enough, allowing Level-One to get up out of the chair and grab hold of Chris’s arms. Pulling them all the way back, Level-One lines Chris jaw up with the steel chair and places his boot right into the back of Chris’ skull. Chris tries to fight but it’s futile with his position as Level-One pauses a moment, knowing he’s in full control before rearing back once and then sending his foot plunging into Chris head so forcefully that the steel chair breaks from the impact of the curb stomp.
Harvey: Jesus Christ! That may have just shattered the jaw of Chris Hart.
Chase: Level-One said he was going to shut Chris up once and for all; he’s simply a man of his word.
Level-One lets go of Chris and smiles as he sees the blood pouring from his mouth and lifts him up to his feet. Walking towards the casket he tries to throw Chris into it but the fight from the young charge comes in as he begins to fight back. With half his body in the casket, he starts wildly throwing punches and kicks at Level-One before he’s finally able to wrestle himself free and roll into the ring.
Level-One follows him in and doesn’t let Chris get to his feet as he delivers a swift kick to the midsection that causes Chris to gasp for air and spit up more blood in the process. Once again Chris tries to get to his feet and this time Level-One helps him out, pulling him up and flinging him off the ropes. On the rebound he looks to connect with a big Yakuza kick but Chris ducks it and stops on a dime. When Level-One turns around Chris looks to connect with an overhead kick but Level-One steps into it and catches the smaller Hart on his shoulder.
Level-One looks at the casket again before he turns away from it and marches towards the ladder he had set up earlier. Swinging Chris, he looks to put him into position for a Darkness Shines but Chris manages to counter it, swinging Level-One around and looking for a tilt-a-whirl DDT but Level-One manages to reverse that as well and sends Chris into the canvas with a vicious side slam, all his weight being sent down right into the chest of Chris who immediately rolls away clutching his ribs in pain as blood continues to pour from his mouth.
Chase: And now look at Chris. Once again he’s running away. He’d have been better off locking himself in the loony bin and bum Kurt Noble than accepting Level-One’s challenge.
Harvey: You’ve got to admire the fight in Chris Hart though. He wasn’t simply going to let Level-One bully him around any longer.
Chase: It wasn’t bullying Darren. It was flat out Level-One doing Chris a favour and showing him that he doesn’t belong in the big leagues.
Level-One appears content to allow Chris to relax against the ropes, taking a moment to gather his own breath before simply staring at him – the crowd beginning to grow restless at the lack of action. As soon as Chris gets to his feet though Level-One charges him full bore, looking to take his head off with a clothesline but Chris pulls the ropes down and Level-One goes tumbling to the outside.
Chris looks to take advantage of Level-One being downed as he gets to his feet he waits for Level-One to rise before leaping onto the top rope, looking to connect with a springboard hurricanrana. It doesn’t work out so well for Chris though as Level-One reaches out and shoves the ropes, knocking Chris off balance as he once again is stuck riding the horse, clutching his loins in pain. He doesn’t stay that way long though as Level-One steps onto the apron and picks Chris up, putting him onto his shoulders before throwing him off the apron, through the tables Chris had set up earlier with a vicious Darkness Shines, the wooden tops snapping on impact as the crowd can’t help but pop for the action.
Chase: That’ll be it for Chris Hart; look at him!
Amongst the wreckage Chris Hart isn’t moving, blood starting to dry at the corner of his mouth and his arm looks to rest at a weird angle in relation to the rest of his body. Level-One surveys the carnage beneath him before he shrugs his shoulders in indifference. Leaping off the apron, he picks Chris out of the wreckage and drags him along the floor towards the casket. Reaching it, he finally bends over and picks Chris up and pins him against it for a moment – looking at him, before he delivers one more swift blow that turns Chris around so that he faces the casket – easily allowing Level-One to dump him in.
Level-One pushes Chris’ legs into the casket, having his entire body in and gets onto the apron. He grabs hold of the casket lid and looks down at Chris for a moment, mocking him with his gaze before looking at the fans once more and then with a smile slams the casket shut
.

.
.
.
.
Right onto the leg of Chris Hart!
Chase: What! No!
The crowd roars as Chris pushes the casket lid open and sits up in it. Level-One reaches out to grab hold of Chris but he gets swatted away as Chris reaches out and rakes him in the eyes, allowing him to have enough time to stand up in the casket and grab hold of Level-One in a three-quarters face lock before leaping over top of him and connecting with an inventive Hart Break, floating into the ring himself while snapping Level-One against the ropes and as his backward momentum is finally arrested, the entire transfer of energy sends him propelling face first into the lid of the casket before tumbling to the floor as the crowd pops once again.
Harvey: You can never count Chris Hart out in any match.
Chris waits for Level-One to slowly get to his feet before hitting the far ring ropes and coming back and leaping over them, latching on and then flinging Level-One into the steel ring steps with a hurricanrana. With the momentum on his side, Chris continues the onslaught, grabbing hold of Level-One and tossing him into the barricade. As he grimaces Chris keeps the attack going, reigning right hands into the skull of Level-One before dragging him along the top of the barricade and pausing in front of a young fan in the front row. Pulling Level-One’s arms behind him, Chris eggs the kid on and the free shot is too much to pass up as the crowd roars at the blow from the kid sends Level-One tumbling to the ground.
Chris doesn’t give Level-One a chance to escape, stalking him as he crawls towards the announce table. As he gets in front of Nicky Paige, Chris grabs a hold of the bell from ringside and raises it above his head before slamming it down into the skull of Level-One, flattening him out as Chris appears to have taken control of the match. Chris ditches the ring bell as he delivers a swift kick to the ribs of Level-One before turning his attention way from him and roots goes to root underneath the ring apron.
Not finding what he’s looking for in front of the announce table he checks another side of the ring as Level-One slowly gets to his feet. Chris emerges from underneath the ring apron and slides a fluorescent light tube into the ring before he sticks a couple in his arms and turns towards Level-One, just barely to his feet. He tries to deliver a massive blow to the face of Chris Hart, already swollen to nearly double the size from the curb stomp, but instead he takes a blow from the tube, it shattering across his head. Chris drops the broken half, stares at the other one for a moment, before breaking the other one across Level-One’s head too as the crowd roars – and grows even louder as the camera zooms in and reveals that the second blow has split Level-One all the way across his forehead.
Chase: What the hell does Chris think he’s doing? He’s going to put someone’s eye out with those.
Harvey: But it was okay for One to make him eat a steel chair?
Chase: It’s a little bit different when it’s my eye that he’ll put out!
As Level-One pushes himself up Chris smiles as he holds the third and final light tube in his hands like a baseball bat, before he slams it across the face of Level-One who isn’t able to get his hands up to partially deflect the blow. It shatters into thousands of pieces on impact as Level-One flops onto the announce table as Chris makes a ‘two minutes for slashing gesture’ causing the Swedish crowd to let out a massive pop.
Chris looks at the casket for a moment, debating whether to attempt to drag Level-One into it and eventually decides against it. Instead grabbing hold of one of the steel steps dislodged earlier in the match and placing it onto the announce table in front of Level-One, who attempts to use it to pull himself up. Chris allows him to slightly as he clambers onto the announce table himself before grabbing hold of Level-One in position for another Hart Break. Climbing up the stairs to get himself into position with Level-One up to his feet, Chris raises a single hand into the air before leaping up and over, sending both he and Level-One crashing through the announce table with a Hart Break as the crowd roars!
Harvey: This could be the opportunity Chris Hart needs. He’s just got to get to his feet and drag Level-One to the casket.
Chase: But the nimrod didn’t think that he’d be putting himself through the table with that Hart Break, did he!
It takes a few moments before Chris finally starts to stir, eventually getting to his feet from amidst the rubble and beginning to drag Level-One towards the casket. After what seems like a grievous amount of time, Chris finally is able to get the still seemingly lifeless body of Level-One next to the casket. Using as much strength as possible, Chris manages to push him partially up and into the casket, leaving his legs dangling over the edge. Rolling into the ring, Chris begins to pull him towards the other end of the casket before finally Level-One manages to fight back, pulling Chris Hart towards the ring ropes until both men are nearly in the casket brawling.
A fury of blows are exchanged with each man seemingly getting the advantage for a moment and attempting to slam the casket lid shut on each other before eventually they end up on the edge of apron, as Level-One scores with a big elbow to the skull of Chris that renders him stunned for a moment, long enough for Level-One to score with a kick to the sternum that doubles Chris over, and then power bomb him right onto the casket lid as Chris immediately arches his back in agony. The force of the blow however causes the hinges to break as the casket drops until it lies open at a perfect one hundred and eighty degree angle with Chris lying perpendicularly across it.
Harvey: I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anything like that before. Level-One just slammed Chris Hart so hard he broke the brass hinges on that casket.
Chase: That’s the brute strength of Level-One on display.
The punishment isn’t over for Chris though as Level-One, unable to close the casket with Chris in the way goes right back onto the attack. Stepping into the casket, he grabs hold of Chris and lifting him up to his feet on top of the casket and looking to put him into position for the Level Advance. Realizing the dire straits he finds himself in, Chris fights with all his might to escape the predicament, eventually succeeding as he manages to end up with Level-One in position for a Hart Break and looks to score with one onto the casket but as Chris leaps over Level-One pushes him off, sending him sailing into the ring.
Level-One steps into the ring as Chris Hart charges him with a forearm, knocking him into the ropes away from the casket. Chris connects with a couple of punches that connect square but they’re unable to knock Level-One over before he manages to reverse the position and score with a number of blows of his own. Eventually backing away and charging Chris and looking to take him out of the ring but Chris ducks it and backdrops Level-One to the outside but he manages to stick the landing on the apron.
Chris looks to take a moments rest, stumbling away from the ropes but when he turns around he’s met by another stiff right hand from Level-One who then hooks him into position for a suplex and looks to bring him over the top with it on the ladder still spanning the ring apron and barricade. Chris blocks the suplex attempt but is unable to stay in the ring as he’s brought to the outside and Level-One looks to take him down with a clothesline but Chris ducks it and when Level-One turns around scores with a toe kick. Chris immedatiely goes for a Hart Break onto the ladder, but gets blocked by Level-One and finds himself in perfect position for a Level-Advance in the blink of an eye. Level-One lifts Chris up and wastes no time in stepping out onto the ladder before dropping down and sending Chris thundering down neck first onto it!
Harvey: Oh my science!
Chase: It’s over ladies and gentleman. Level-One has officially killed Chris Hart.
It takes a few moments for Level-One to get to his feet but when he does he looks at the carnage next to him, Chris Hart lying next to the ring apron, his hand underneath it. As Level-One slowly gets to his feet, the amount of damage inflicted by both men on each other already having taken it’s toll, he gingerly walks over to Chris before pulling him away from the ring apron and lifts him up, or at least attempts too before foregoing the idea and dragging Chris along the floor towards the casket.
Upon reaching in, Level-One bends over and flips Chris into the casket lying face up with his arm outside of it. Level-One begins to fight with the lid, trying to force it to shut but the hinge appears to be warped. After a minute of agonizing frustration, Level-One kicks the casket before giving it one final heave that does absolutely nothing. Turning around, Level-One shakes his head before a sick smile comes to his face and he starts waving towards the back. The crowd look towards the entrance ramp and wait a few moments before a sick smile comes across the face of Level-One
.

.
.
.
.
As Terry Marvin emerges from the back wheeling a second casket out to the top of the entrance ramp!
Chase: Ha! This is awesome.
Harvey: You’ve got to be kidding me!
Level-One waves him down and when Terry reaches the bottom he places the second casket next to the first in a straight line. Level-One reaches into the broken casket and pulls Chris up and with the assistance of Terry Marvin throw him into the fixed one. Level-One smiles to himself as Terry looks at him before getting a dismissive wave. The crowd loudly boo, some chanting for Kurt Noble to make an appearance which only causes the smile on Terry’s face to grow larger. As soon as Terry disappears through the back Level-One stands over top of Chris Hart, one hand on the casket lid as he stares him down – Chris still having shown no signs of movement following the devastating Level-Advance. Level-One leans over and whispers something in Chris’ ear before he looks to slam the lid shut on Chris …

.
Only to fall backwards on top of the broken casket, knocked almost unconscious as the right fist of Chris Hart pauses for a moment where Level-One’s head used to be, the brass knuckles on his hand glistening in the light the same way his blue eyes sparkle as he forces them open.
Chase: That’s cheating! He can’t use Brass Knuckles in a casket match! Level-One had this one. He’s been robbed I tell you! Robbed!
Harvey: After tables, ladders, chairs, frying Pans and light tubes we’re drawing the line at Brass Knuckles? That was ingenious by Chris Hart. He was looking in that exact spot earlier in the match for a weapon and when push came to shove new exactly where they were and used it for his advantage.
Chris takes a moment before he hauls himself out of the new casket and looks at Level-One, sprawled on top of the broken casket.
Harvey: Finish him Chris! You can do it!
He pauses for a moment as he stares at the fixed casket and then at Level-One before grabbing the broken casket

And begins pushing it up the entrance ramp.
Chase: Where the hell is he going?
As Chris labours to get Level-One up the ramp, the arch-foe begins to stir. As Chris reaches the top he pushes the casket towards the edge. Shades of Shockwave coming to mind as Chris sent both men plummeting down twenty feet to the equipment below. Level-One has no inclination to take a similar ride though as he sits up and slams a fist into Chris’ head, arresting his forward momentum. As he tries to get up from the casket though, Chris delivers a vicious step up enziguri, using the gurney the casket is on to elevate and strike Level-One in the head. Rocked, Level-One is in no position to defend the secondary assault of Chris Hart as he scores with a Busaiku Knee Kick that knocks him flat on his back, nearly unconscious. Chris grabs hold of the casket and looks to take a step towards the edge before he stops on a dime as he looks at the massive stage set – and immediately his eyes go skyward.
Hoping into the casket, Chris doesn’t wait for Level-One before he picks him up and then demolishes him with another Hart Break, landing on his feet on the outside but snapping Level-One’s neck against the oak finish – rendering him unconscious. With a quick check, Chris walks towards the stage set as the crowd immediately begins to roar.
Chase: WHERE THE HELL IS HE GOING!
Harvey: I’ve got an idea …
Chris begins to scale the stage set, ending up on top of the large video boards as he looks down at Level-One, still motionless before he turns to the crowd for a moment, and continues higher until he reaches the very top of the stage set, standing in the middle of the P that juts out, about forty feet in the air.
Harvey: No! Chris! Don’t do this!
Chase: WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING!
Taking one final look at Level-One and making sure he’s still in place Chris takes his leap of faith out of the P, soaring through the air, before finally coming down and landing on Level-One, the bottom of the casket breaking, the hinges blowing out from the impact and the crowd in the Globe Arena going absolutely mental!
Harvey: My God! My Word! DANGEROUS!!!
Chase: WHAT THE HELL DID HE JUST DO!
Both men are out of it for a minute – neither moving as the referee checks on them, trying to make a decision as to whether to get aid from the medics or not. As soon as he begins waving from the back though Chris Hart springs to life and grabs hold of the referee, stopping him from calling the match as he pulls himself up to his feet. Grabbing hold of Level-One, he places him on the gurney the coffin had rested on, the frame warped but still alleviating some of the stress on Chris as he slowly wheels Level-One towards the entrance ramp – before letting him slide down it, reaching about halfway before he tumbles off.
Chris gingerly walks down the ramp as Level-One rolls down – almost to the bottom of the ramp before he stops. Chris finally reaches him and feebly kicks at him to start his momentum again. As Level-One reaches the ringside apron, Chris looks at Level-One and then at the new casket at ringside. Grabbing him, he tries to left him up but is completely out of strength – barely able to lift him up to his waist.
Pausing for a moment, Chris turns and looks at the casket before finally a moment of ingenuity strikes. Walking to the other side of it, Chris releases the latch tying the casket to the gurney and begins to push, eventually knocking it right off and sending it crashing to the floor below. Working back towards Level-One, Chris opens the lid of the casket and attempts to throw him, at first getting his torso in, then his waist before walking around to the other side and pulling until finally his entire body slides into the casket as Chris slumps back against the apron, absolutely exhausted. He pauses for a moment before stumbling towards it and placing both hands on the canvas and slamming it shut …

Or at least attempting to as with all his might Level-One reaches up and barely stops the casket from latching shut. Chris tries in vain to force it shut but Level-One shows off his resolve as he’s eventually able to pop the casket open.
Chase: Yes! Yes! Yes!
Harvey: Chris Hart appears to have possibly crashed and burned – throwing away an assured victory to connect with that breath taking leap from atop the stage setting.
Resigned to the facts, Chris pulls Level-One out of the casket and tosses him into the ring before following him in in due time, fatigue long past set in as both men are running on nothing but pure loathing for the other. As Chris gets into the ring, Level-One has managed to use the ropes to pull himself up to his feet. Both men stare across at each other for a moment, the tension setting in, before finally the two lock horns, each man exchange a flurry of punches before it’s Chris Hart who gets the advantage. Tossing Level-One into the corner, Chris follows him in and looks to connect with another busaiku knee kick but Level-One catches him in mid air. He looks to lift Chris up to connect with a powerbomb but Hart fights back, raining down bombs from the top and forcing Level-One backwards until he’s able to latch onto the ropes.
Penned in the corner with no place to go but up, Level-One scales the ropes until he’s even with Chris and begins slugging it out. Level-One appears to get the advantage until he looks to put Chris into position for a Level-Advance but Chris spins out of it and right into position for a Hart Break. Leaping up, Chris almost gets over top before Level-One is able to grab hold of the ring post to maintain his position on the ropes as Chris floats over top and lands on his feet. Chris immediately goes back onto the attack, leaping onto the second rope and grabbing hold of before again going for a Hart Break but this time Level-One is able to reverse it as he manages to drop Chris onto the apron – still in position for a Hart Break.
As he leaps into the air one final time, looking to connect with the final Hart Break to put the match away, Level-One uses his momentum against him and throws himself off. Changing the direction the two go as they soar towards the casket, Level-One eventually turns in mid air before they come crashing down, his leg across the neck of Chris Hart before he plummets into the casket.
Chase: DARKNESS SHINES!
Harvey: That’s it for Chris. There is no getting up after that.
Level-One takes a few moments to gather himself before he pushes himself up to his feet. Looking down at Chris Hart for a moment, Level-One waves goodbye before he places two hands on the casket door, slamming it shut …

Before punctuating it by placing his right foot on top of the shut lid, as the resounding thud fills the Globe Arena along with the ring bell and ‘Give It All’ once again filling the arena.
Paige: Ladies and Gentleman, your winner, Level-One!

The crowd jeer vociferously but it has no impact on Level-One as he’s not content with simply placing a foot on top of the casket. Instead climbing up on top of it and standing as the referee raises his arm in victory.
Chase: The better man won this evening.
Harvey: In what way is Level-One a ‘better man’?
Chase: ‘cause he won. He sent a message to each and every person in that locker room, especially those who are going to be in the Elimination Chamber that the Summer of Showtime could very well turn into the Winter of One.
‘Give It All’ continues to play as Level-One remains atop the casket, his arm raised in victory as we cut away to commercial break
