Show's up! Thanks to Kash, Julius, and Evan for writing matches, and Yarmouth, Raab, Bailey, Borderland, Sally, Kash, Knuckles, Callahan, and Julius for segs.
TJ, if you helped collab with any segs with Julius, please post here.
Feel free to discuss the show.
Also, with One Night in Hell being on October 28th, we can fit in two more Asylums. The next one will be October 7th, but we could either do one Oct 14th or 21st. I'll get a poll up tomorrow to see what you guys would rather do.

Hey Biggs, not to be a stickler or anything because I know how hard you work to piece the show together, but the J-Hop/Sykes match got posted twice by accident.

It was with different results dude. Real good match write up Jason for the Stefan/Jason match. The better RPer won so congrats dude. I also have to thank Jeff for giving me ideas with the segment as I didn't have an idea with one this week. The segment I did is going to show the newer side of Stefan of him being so arrogant to a point where he will piss off every wrestler in APW to become the most hated wrestler in the company.
I am interested to know how that Japanese Death Match is going to work as I really am thinking about putting Stefan in that regarding if anything comes up first. I really enjoyed the show as it's the first ever time I literately read through the whole show. I like this Asylum brand a lot already.

Fixed. It's due to Kash's routine of sending me the results both coded and in full form, which I love. I got sloppy. But on that note, if you guys could at the code tags [/ code], obviously without the space between /code, that really helps me get the show up quicker.

Solid show. I thought it was really tight and helped to set the stage for the Asylum part of the pay per view. It was the sort of show that if you missed it, you wouldn't have the whole understanding of what's happening when the ppv was coming around. That may be a little self-indulgent as the show really focused around the participants in the chamber match and then, at the end, furthering Bailey/Sally/Borderland. But we were also able to get some insight into where some of the others are going - Knuckles and Julius, Kash. There will be some strong storylines coming to a head with two more Asylums to go too.
First match caught me by surprise. I had no idea who was going to win that given all the no shows and the different judging style. Anyway, good win there for the bad guys - gives us heroes something to work towards next week! Well written and about as long as it should have been.
Raab and Kash. I'll admit that the match had slipped my mind when I first read the card. But then when I read both your promos I got excited for it. It's not every day you see a new guy to the show go up against the former standard bearer of the company. The match should give both guys something to work with as it was well written. The Kash heel turn is still one of my favourite things going on our show. Makes so much sense.
The Julius/Knuckles segment was good for what it was. Seemed to give us some ideas about the dynamics between the two. The best part about it was that it got me interested in the match. If your segment isn't building towards a storyline, your next option is to get the readers here interested in the match. Take a cue from this segment.
But your segments (imo) should be working towards a storyline - and that's best shown in Kash's segment. Mr. Dangerous and Kash reuniting? Heck yes! And it's got me hooked for the next couple of weeks to see what unfolds here. Well written and, really, well timed.
Good win there for TJ. Definitely someone who is making the most of his promotion to the bigger shows. Seems like it was a close match A lot of action in it, which makes it better to read. Unfortunately, TJ's victory isn't as enjoyable. But again, keeps the ideas flowing, keeps the readers interested and hooked for next week. There's how you make a match count with a fall out like that.
Knuckles and Farq's match seemed a bit short. Maybe because it came after the more substantial match of the card? Not sure. It wasn't poorly written or anything but I thought it could have been drawn out some more considering the build to it. Then again, that's juts me.
Ahhh, but the fall out. Yeah, I guess that makes up for it. TJ's revenge, let's call it. Knuckles gets in on it too. It makes up for the brevity of the match.
The main event was one hell of a match. But the problem was that it seemed to be too long. The length and 'big-ness' of that match ... it needs to be saved for the ppvs to make them more special. I get that it was for a #1 contendership and that it was the main event. Maybe I'm in the minority on that though.
Then there's the main event segment.
All in all, a solid match. Very informative and stage-setting. Great job to all involved! Be proud and go Asylum!

I enjoyed the opening segment of the show greatly. From what I understand, the Knuckles character is synonymous with gimmick matches on the big event shows, so to have him be the first entrant and deemed inspiration for the match is great to see. It makes the match look huge by having Reginald introduce it at the top of the show. I already like Bambi and she held her own I'm a segment with two very entertaining well-known characters. I can't wait to see who's in it. Maybe Raab will win the whole thing LOL Callahan continues to be the most must-see person on Asylum. I love the continuity of the story between Callahan and Bailey. I long to see the two in a one on one feud... The Raab segment. It did a good job a building Raab as a prick-ish heel and hyped the match, while at the same time, killing any chance Raab had at hyping many future matches. It hurts to say that the only reason you went to Twitter War with a guy was to hype your match-- yeah, that's the motive, but you don't SAY that. Also, it does you no favors to downplay a champion's success. It makes Raab look delusional and maleducated. But maybe that's on purpose? The six man tag was a little shorter than expected but the preceding events filled up that space, and it seemed so contrived at times, but it worked. I think it was meant to be chaotic and that's what we got. I like the story that was told between Sally and Bailey, and the dirty finish kept the champ looking strong while showing how much danger be could be in at ONIH. The Yarmouth segment was much more believable and well-structured than his partner's. Yarmouth may have been on a losing streak but be continuously delivers passionate promos and forces his opponents to RP passionately as well. He sold his team without making himself look entirely delusional. He speaks with conviction instead of just throwing a bunch of rude sentences together... And while I wish there was more story behind his sudden hatred for America, it made me excited for his match against TJ, a guy who represents just that. Loved Raab v Kash. Great job, and if Kash is supposed to be a heel, him teasing the UTI then hitting something else was a damn nice touch. Borderland seems to be in danger of losing steam after so much hype but its too early to tell. I'm used to seeing his character angsty and frustrated but maybe this new creepy sadist Shane can work... I enjoyed the Farquhar and Knuckles segment here too. Good to see Farquhar showing desperation and it was a brilliant contrast of personas and style. When I saw the Kash segment I was afraid it was just to put Mr. Dangerous over... But I see it builds to Kash's character's newfound looniness. It also hyped up Meltdown and makes me excited to read tomorrow, so no complaints here! Yay tag teams. TJ v Yarmouth was good but my only complaint was the commentary acknowledging Asylum being referred to as the B show. What happened afterward sold TJ as an impregnable monster. This is the exact kind of angle these two wanna run headed into an "I Quit" match. Also nice to see Yarmouth didn't get cast aside after the match. Farq vs Knux afterward was great at turning people onto Knuckles as an unfortunate Face, but something about the placement of this directly after TJ's match seemed weird. Maybe this is where a string of multiple segments in a row would've benefited? Beautiful main event and it's cool to see Kash getting involved, instead of leaving the arena before finding out who the NOC is. Unfortunately, the no-finish seemed very predictable. I would rather see a decisive winner than yet another multi-man match at ONIH, so I hope these two get a rematch on the next Asylum instead of a triple threat. The PPVs should feature the best of the best in high-profile matchups instead of trying to cram the whole roster somewhere on the card. This doesn't take away from the match or the RPers (though I didn't understand J-Hop's RP). The only thing that stood out was the abrupt change in writing style toward the end, but I understand why that was necessary. EDIT: I didn't realize there was a segment after that! The decision for the Suicidal Title satisfies me Aaaand I retract my statement regarding Borderland losing steam. Good segment, good show!

This Audrey chick is pretty fucking cool in my book. Is she single cause Kash is, Holla! Haha. Biggs, you blame me but love me for my routine? Haha. Glad I could help man.
I am a big fan of Asylum, have been for the last 2 years I've been here. After losing the World Title I felt a bit misguided, wasn't sure where I wanted to go with Kash. Him going through this "Bad" Season, him no longer smoking weed, his heel turn which is still having it's growth. With Dangerous, Kash feels a bit face at times, and I want to keep that and hope it shows but I want his mental to show as well. Enough about MY character now though. Oh real quick before I forget. Raab, in your segment with the interviewer you had him say I was TapOut Champion and I'm Suicidal Champ. No biggie but Farquhar might bite your nose off for that misstep.
I'll start from the bottom now. The end segment, very nice. It's good to see Borderland being used and given his chance to be among the bigger names on Asylum. I think it's an experience he needs and surely wanted when he was Kash's "Shadow" haha. He's a dork. For him to be laying out folks though is a pleasant sight and I look at this Extreme Elimination Chamber match to be the best one yet for Asylum. Sally being in it now two years in a row. (Hi Sally)
The Sykes/Hopkins was my idea, I didn't know the match would be no contest. I thought the winner would win and then I'd come down and interrupt, piss Reginald off and get another opponent before ONIH. I know EXACTLY what I want for the Sykes match and it's the reason this angle has been done. I just hope other people enjoy it. Good job from both guys though, I was itching to see what was said in both your 2nd rps and there were none so I wanted to give you a virus. Just saying...
TJ and Yarmouth I wrote. I wanted that match before I wanted my own against Raab because it was Big Man Vs. Big Man and I've always been a fan of athletic big men in Wrestling. Most were raised on big beastly dudes bombing and slamming each other around. I kind of half way through wished and found myself disappointed it was only Summarized because I could have gone longer, SHOULD have gone longer. I didn't want to be that guy who wrote a longer mid card match than the Main Event might have been. I like writing for both characters though, TJ more recently (I like his moveset, really helps me understand the character) and hope I didn't disappoint.
Knuckles and Farquhar. That got me thinking, wondering if Knuckles was going to take up Farq's offer. Then Bailey and Callahan, those two would fit so well together and yet I'd want to rip their nose hairs out before the torturing them for putting Asylum through that if it happened. I'd have to team with Sally or Rebel or...Hey, you two get together and make that happen!! (Picks booger) Proud of you..
So where does that leave me? Oh yeah, the big ass 6 Man Tag Opener. It was big, it was loud but it had so much really missing from it rp wise that it hurt the outcome and hype for me. Big matches like that usually annoy me on Real Wrestling but here it could have been a bunch more interesting. Hey Audrey, whats up girl? Kash is seriously single, a bit off his rocker but that can only lead to crazy good times...Huh...Huh? Hellrr..haha

There has been lots of feedback, and Aubrey was pretty thorough, so I'll stick to short comments.
-Agree that the Jap Deathmatch should be insane (especially if Biggs writes it), and good that Knuckle gets the push through that announcement.
-Raab and Yarmouth. Two stand alone segments that I thought would have worked better as one, especially as you are a team. Just required a bit of forethought. Also, as it has been pointed out, if you're going to no-sell, think about how you're going to do it. It has to be credible, repeating that someone is lucky is not.
-Borderland segment 1. It was okay for what it was, but I thought with the spotlight he got in the ME segment this felt like a segment for the sake of a segment, especially as the stuff in this could have been incorporated into the ME. Also, a bit of a gripe for me is the inconsistency with capitalised/non-capitalised Is. It's bad enough to always non-capitalise proper (pro)nouns, but at least be consistent if you're going to ignore basic grammatical rules.
-Callahan & Bailey. I liked this segment, glad the storyline there hasn't been panned, lost in the shuffle.
-Thanks to TJ and Knuckles for their parts this week in Farquhar's stuff. (Biggs, you should credit TJ for the segments, he is always a key part of the conversation and planning for segments, my bad for not telling you that this week).
-Enjoyed the Farquhar/Knuckles match. Biggs gets Farquhar, so he always does a good job and I love it when that snivelling twerp gets him comeuppance.
-Agree with everyone the #1 contender match was good, but maybe too long for a TV match. As a rule I'd say about 2k or about 5 sides for an Asylum ME; nevertheless well written match.
If I've missed anything apologies, but this was a good show full of substantial content and lots of build; kind of what you want for a show that is mid-cycle.
EDIT: Biggs, I know it was a bit of a rush for you last night, but the pre-Knuckles v Farquhar segment wasn't in the show (you know, the commentary addition). Was this vetoed in the end? If so, I accept that, but you may want to remove the Barry Hoskins line of commentary from the post-match because it looks a bit odd.

now that have a break from a few things....ill drop some FB is it me or does this show seem segment heavy? love them tho. i think theyre essential to Asylum since the matches r slightly summed up. loved working with farq, he's a champ so naturally i stepped it up that much more to try for the win. his rp's had me nervous cuz he had me ROLLING. i thought he had it but i must have been a big enuff of a challenge to at least draw :-p hopefully my rps were entertaining to the rest of u Kash going down this dark road? hmmm seems familiar lol i think the "season" is getting to him. such a shame that we had no-shows but personal life comes first. everybody did a great job as always and its worth the time spent against everybody on all the rosters.

- I enjoyed the opening segment for what it was, it set up a future title shot for their brands hardcore title, which is a great match for the set up of ONIH. I loved Knuckles being the first official participant of the match and his reactions of "This happened, this happened and now this?! I'm in"
- I love Callahan, and I've said it before, but Callahan is the perfect foil for alot of the roster as a politician among wrestlers, but even more he plays the perfect foil for Bailey as someone who has the same ideals as Bailey, but does it in a different way. I loved Bailey who continues to tease a turn towards at least a bit of a heeler face, but then shuts it down at the end
- The Raab segment, first, you HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO get your facts straight, Kash is the Suicidal champion yet you have Spade say he's the Tap Out champion, you say Kash is a drug addict but he's been off teh weed for quite some time and he even said that in his second RP. I couldn't take your segment seriously for that reason because it wasn't right. Another thing I thought you could do was to talk more about Asylum than you did. You talked abotu the same between Asylum and Overdrive yet you are on Asylum full time. Talk more about Asylum, talk more about your match that is about to happen. I don't like the "it was about hyping the match" when talking about twitter. I'm kind of a prick about kayfabe, and you don't watch wrestling, but if two wrestlers are talking about fighting each other during the week leading up to RAW, on RAW, the commentators aren't talking about the guys job at hyping up a match, they are talking about the trash talking, the disrespect. If you were a Kevin Nash like gimmick where it just for the money, it'd work, get more viewers more money, but you're not a kevin nash gimmick, you're anti-american talking shit to Kash to get in his head maybe throw him off his game through twitter. I like the idea, but not the way you went about it.
- Great six man. When i saw Atken was going to be on the face side of the match, I was wondering how it was going to work, and it was great. The entire thing was chaos and kidna set the stage for the rest of the night. I like how all six were involved at the end.
- Yarmouth's segment is what I was talking about when I said about Raab's segment where a bit more about Asylum's match would be helpful. He said a bit about the other tag teams, but mostly focused on his match with me. But like others said, it would have been better for Yarmouth and Raab to segment together, would help because EI is tending to seem like wrestlers that team together rather than a team that wrestles and the two of you would benefit as you two bounce ideas off each other, come up with great ideas.
- I liked the Kash vs Raab match, told a good story of Kash's new found violence and the Grand Slam is a great move, especially if you drop them more on the neck than back. Can't wait for more of violent Kash.
- I enjoyed teh Borderland segment, although I think Shane still thinks he's on Meltdown calling Spade, "West". I liked that he has this mean streak to him, trying to get to the top. It seems this should have gone before the six man tag match though.
- Loved the Jules segment, he told me about an interaction between Knucks and Jules and I was intrigued, they didn't disappoint. I liked the fake out at the end. HEE-HAW!
- Aww, Kash loves Dangerous! Great segment, I haven't read Meltdown so I don't know if anything happened there, but I'm intrigued by the thought of what's next.
- I throughly enjoyed my match, it got over that Yarmouth is a beast and TJ is a beast as well, but I hated the commentary, like Aubrey said, the acknowledgement of Asylum being a B show hurts, even with the line about Kurt and L-1, it still came off as, "These two are beasts on the B-Show" which comes off as "This isn't the best talent in the company, but the best we have on the show" I know, Kash, you're very vocal about Asylum being dubbed the B-Show when it started out, but I don't think anyone else sees it like that because it's not, it's the Number 1 show to Overdrive A-Show. Another problem with Beckett "burying" the European Invasion right off the back with "Someone from European Invasion needs to step up cause those guys are SUCKING as of late." That coming from the heel commentator, about a heel team. I just feel like you put too much of yourself into the commentary on both parts of it.
- I loved how Jules wrote this, he came to me with the idea, and I loved it and I love that people are reacting to it, makes me feel like what me and Jules are doing people are paying attention too and I love working with Jules. Great mind to bounce off of. I'll comment about the post match with Knux me and Jules now. When Jules approached me about doing this bit, I was a bit hesitant at first, I kinda didn't want TJ to get any revenge until closer to, if not at, ONIH but given that TJ hasn't gotten any for SW yet, I was for it and I was happy, maybe this set something up for a future card, I dunno, but if it did, I can't wait because Knux is someone I've been wanting to work with and this gave me an excuse haha.
- Loved the Knux/Jules match, I loved that Knuckles didn't waste time following the events earlier in the night.
- I loved the match but if I had shown someone this match minus the ending and asked them what they thought the implications of the match were, they'd say a PPV title match at the very least, I'm not knocking the match, but I felt like it was kinda wasted? I really can't come up with teh right wording, but that's along the lines of it. Felt like, if someone else writes a more meaningful match between these two, they have to outdo this one and it's gonna be a challenge.
- Sykes vs Kash next Asylum? OOOOOOHHH YEA! The winner gets Jair at the PPV?!?! OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHH YEA! Biggs, I don't envy you. Gonna be great reads tho. Bart Scott level over here; CANT WAIT!
- BORDERLAND YOU SICK BASTARD! I liked it. Although.....a hat? Really? Reginald needs to look better at his guards....DIBS ON THAT SEGMENT! ANyways, great segment I liked it, hyped Borderland's claim at ONIH, but it seems his more focused on Sally than Bailey, rather than say at ONIH, he'll take the title he leaves it open for after "owever many times it takes to get rid of her" for him to go for the title. I would have liked a bit from Rebel but I think we have two more shows so hopefully we get more from him.
Great show, reading this, I read a different show than Overdrive, even our segment heavy shows are different. Everybody felt involved with one another for the most part. ONIH got more hype from all front for the most part. Personally, I can't wait for my own match, but that's everyone. Knowing Callahan's past with multi-man no rules match, I can't wait to see what he comes up with.
Also, Biggs, how many more shows before ONIH are we gonna have a show one week after this next show and two weeks before ONIH or have 3 weeks for ONIH?
