I'll probably post something more detailed later this weekend. But in short, I loved the show. Loved how the storylines were advanced, loved the matches, loved the segments, loved everything.
T-Marv as the biggest face on Overdrive?! I'll take "Things I wouldn't have EVER thought before TFTB" for $200, Alex!

I think AC Smith's segment was placed in the wrong spot, I think it should have been placed before his match not after.

-Curious opening segment because it was the first time I've seen Level-One come out of a segment looking a bit feeble. Terry came through really strong, and is certainly building this dominant persona right now, and I thought Level-One came off sort of in that shadow. A bit like a debate when one participant is confronted with a point or argument he cannot untangle, gets in a bit of a flap, and ends up looking a bit disheveled and incoherent. That's just how I read it. If that was the purpose, well then, well done.
-Gates v Smith. Face v Face, always tough to write a nice story for. But this was a good match. Some nice TV spots, lots of back and forth action, a real sense of tension and excitement with all those near falls. Glad to see A.C. going over strong....getting the win too. Hmmm, quite a notch in A.C. belt. Good sell of C.J.'s erratic form at the end by Chase, as it adds a different dimension to the EEC match.
-The Raccoon. Usually I would say this sort of thing requires a bit too much suspension of disbelief. But this is Delikado, it's credible that anything is possible when that crazy sonofabitch is involved.
-Congrats to Harris, I know that win has been a long time coming for you. Where our characters are right now too, I'd run with this anyway.
-As for the match itself. Thanks to Mania for taking on board the stuff I sent, I appreciate that. It was a good match, and certainly enough to pay homage to the intensity of the past feud. I thought Dionysus was written a bit too heel-ish for my inclinations, but really this is a small niggle and nothing I'm going to get myself in a twist about. I'll try and turn it into a positive and as something to work with.
-Nick Watson segment was a really strong character piece and if I knew nothing before reading it about who Nick Watson was and what he was all about, I would now. I also really liked how the 'fresh hero' gimmick was tied in nicely with (and sold brilliantly) Kurt Noble's mental disintegration. I really liked this.
-I love this Delikado rabies stuff and Mark Mania seems to be a great foil for it. I think Delikado's 'leaf blowing strategy' puts him above Dr. Evil on the list of 'insane, but incompetent, super villains'. Pure entertainment.
-Classic Biggs segment with some good hype for ONIH, and I loved that casual 'just saying' after the trash on Level-One, I love that kind of snarkyness. I like the heel logic employed to offer C.J. a temporary 'marriage of convenience' so to speak. As for the attack by Tmarv and Level-One, well it did feel a bit too convenient....maybe that is the explanation, we'll wait and see.
-Watson v Noble. Another good match with Watson looking strong in defeat with some good offence and a few near falls on the former Champ. Good to see the continuity of Noble's recent edge come through in aspects of the match too.
-Bit of a continuity error when we cut straight from Nick Watson in the ring to him being in his locker room. Maybe a commercial break inbetween and the segment opening with Watson arriving back at his locker room would have solved this issue.
-I'm not quite au fait with the whole Sienna/Evan/Watson/A.C. thing, but I'm just waiting for the turn from that little Jezebel - ha! (EDIT: How wrong I was.)
-Nice segment from Noble continuing the teased turn, and I love the line 'Everyone wants to believe I’m crazy, but I’m not; I’m calculated".
-I guess I'm in a pedantic mood today because another continuity error with Noble confronting Faythe in Marv's locker room, then suddenly Marv and L-1 are there in the next instant. Not quite sure how we rectify these little bugs though without maybe some slight editing, e.g. in this case, change Marv and L-1's location to the cafeteria or L-1's locker room.
-As for the segment, well a bit of a no-sell of the Level-One and Marv attack on Biggs and C.J. (ironically, maybe Marvin's proposal last week is a good idea after all). The interaction was good, and this was a great line from Level-One " I didn't think there was much of a difference from where I am standing, Terry" when Marv tries to manipulate him into thinking the alternative reality of 'You or Me as Champ' was plausible (from Level-One's perspective). The ending? I'm not too sure how I feel about it. We'll see what happens. (NB: I think this segment would have made the show more logical if had it come before Biggs' segment).
-Another great Delikado/Mania segment. After this show this has rocketed to my favourite feud in APW right now.
-Great ME, really entertaining finish. But what is this? Overdrive is becoming saturated with woman-beaters. Nevermind Delikado's rabies, its Nobleitis that is the aggressive pernicious infection spreading through the roster.
-As for the climax, man that was interesting, but chaotic. Nice to see the next gen getting a bit of exposure at the show's end, and well Noble's 'Dark Knight' has truly broken under the weight of T-Marv's 'Joker's' psychological warfare. OverNobleDrive will never be the same again.

I just want to say that the no sell on the Biggs/Gates attack was probably my fault. I was hoping that segment came before Biggs/Gates, but still should have incorporated more.
I was time crunched this week so I didn't help to coordinate the segs as well as I should have.
The EC competitors are trying hard to work together, but life got in the way for me this week. I'll definately try harder next week.

The segments of themselves were all good, the chronology just got messed up a bit. This stuff happens.

I think that unless everything is planned 100% with everyone involved, there may be continuity errors in every show. And this is counting the production of it. I'm not calling anyone out or anything here, or saying anyone is doing a bad job, just saying that it's one of those things that might be unavoidable. Unless it's strictly stated in the PM being sent to Jeff with the segment that the segment be placed anywhere but X or after X or before X...I'm not sure if notes like that matter since Jeff is limited in where he can put things (ie: if 5 people want their segments between Match 2 and 3, he can't feasibly put all 5 there). But with that out of the way... It was a good show. In terms of storyline and character building, it did a lot to get things cooking going into One Night in Hell. Dionysus coming back to the ring was great, and the dynamic going around the Overdrive Chamber is interesting as well. Noble going off at the end was great since it's one of those moments where the heel truly gets it (and as a face, that's always great to see). Loved the Delikado/Mania stuff but that's because Delikado always has interesting ideas. And that's a good thing. When you've got a main storyline that's as intense as Noble/Marvin is, it's good to have something a bit...lighter? Humor works to offset the big stuff. The only bit of criticism I can probably bring up would be continuity (which I already addressed) and POSSIBLY the amount of segments. They were all written well, and they all held a purpose, but I guess, in the back of my mind part of me wonders if things couldn't have been paired down? I know the segments are what drives the show, and I know I seem to be the Negative Ned when it comes to segments and I'm always saying that they need to be less...maybe I'm in the wrong. But part of me still wonders if the 3-4 segments sent in for the same group/story couldn't be paired down into 2 or so. But I'm probably just overthinking this topic lol. I can't/won't outright complain since the end result is what it is, an entertaining show that definitely furthers the stories heading into One Night in Hell. Congratulations to all the winners, and especially congrats to Smith. Loved working against you and hopefully we can do it again so I can avenge my loss
