Meltdown 10/8 Feedback

Thanks to Shadow, Pennington, and Envi for writing matches this week. A shout-out to Krunk for volunteering to write Noir/Assassin but since both no-showed, the match wasn't necessary, but kudos anyway for being willing!

Segment points go to Lively, Level-One, Mr. Williams Jr., M&M, Pennington, and Evan Envi. Let me know if I missed someone.

I feel that the General Meltdown thread should've came a bit later, since everyone's going to neglect this thread now. There's my feedback.

But no...

I'll be leaving feedback after I see some dedicated feedback from others-- let's see what the rookies think of the show instead of hearing one-word responses, and seeing them repeat what the "vets" have already posted...

First the intro commentary to hype the show is a smooth touch that I think I have never given props for. So to who it is deserved, I think Rebel, well done. Speaking of Rebel I think he does a bang up job with our show. Always on time, always open to ideas, and most of all pick up slack in the show. He puts together a great program every week...for that I commend you big time!!!

First up Level One...great way to kick off the show nice job. Vanna White 720 DDT with a holy shit chant...I burst into laughter because I visualized here in one of those skimpy dresses kicking off her heels and getting after it not breaking from her smile.

*Rookies or new comers to RP'ing take note of Level One's work. Look at his descriptions and flow, get inspired by the big shots here in APW. Read their work and see why they are the shit. Take from it as motivation. Think of your work, see if you can dive into your character more, be creative...just saying I'm a mark for this dude always have been.

Next up triple threat tag match...that quickly turned into a regular tag match with HUGE implications, future shot at tag straps. I know there is talks of pushes in the real wrestling business and some people cant separate the real thing with this, guess that's how dope APW is. Here your opportunity could come anytime a wrench is thrown in the mix. You need to RP like a bad ass each week.

The match was written well, loved the controversial ending leaving me wanting more from both these teams.

Next Evan Envi, great segment to further a story that I am so entertained by. If you people aren't into it, or haven't followed you should. Good stuff and what this game is all about.

*Haha, a star again...know what that means. Rookies and such another bad ass to follow is Evan Envi...read his work, let it motivate you. A legit talent here among frankly a place full of it. The best part is everyone here is willing to work with, and in some ways for your benefit...find that somewhere else I dare you!!! For the record if you quit because we bust your balls about using capitalization on something so simple as the letter I, you are a pussy...just saying!!!

Back to the feedback. Collins versus Streets Wilson. Wilson is pure comedy mixed with a little bit of ninja. His RP's creep on you and your like did he just chop me down to size. Love this guy. Collins...I have no real opinion of the guy other then what I have heard and read from others. Sounds like no great loss. Don't get me wrong he is a decent RP'r, but there is so much more to this game then RP'ing if you haven't learned by now. Anyways Streets squashes Collins...I used to love it when I would get that opportunity to ruin guys on the way out...but I'm really an ego maniac just like Lively so it makes sense.

Now three new comers, a Finnish fellow, Lando Calrissian's son, and another returning wrestler. I swear before anyone even RP'd this week I thought the returning star would flake. Just a gut feeling don't know the guy, never heard of him, just a thought. Seems like a trend.

Now to the Finnish guy and a Smooth guy I enjoyed your RP's...please stay active because I think your characters could go somewhere. Now to the match well written...no real winner or loser to this match as long as you guys keep at it...if not you are both losers and you get forget about that Michael Lively endorsement letter!!!

Now for the Shadow/Tek match. Choke slam into announce table. Brutal finish. What can I say Shadow is just one threat to my title come One Night In Hell...but all of you involved seem to be equally as dangerous. Meaning I'm fucked!!! This match was entertaining and showed Shadows dominance.

*Tek keep going my man, find your niche and don't give up. Remember it isn't about wins and losses, even though when you get outclassed it seems to be used as fuel against you. It's an uphill battle my friend, get inspiration from it. Dive into your characters mind set after each match, how he needs to improve or what he felt he did good at. In all stick around...we all need a creepy dude in a mask!!!

Brief segment from Pennington but that to me was perfect. It didn't go too long which I can do from time to time. It got right to the point, he played on my emotions from the title being stolen. Nice little ditty...and NO that belt looks awful on your bloated muscle bound frame. You better not have worn out the snaps or my leather Vince!!

M&M segment=money in the bank. I want Ice Cream!!! This AJP plays her character to a tee, and brings her to life each time she writes. Logan Alexander a beast...that knows how to research and tie things together....wait for it...

* Legit Bad Asses!!! Nothing else needed.

The taunting of Shane West is classic...I feel like he's a Michael Cole type of douche bag when they had Cole playing the good guy opposite Taz. Fuck West...

Krunk's appearance a nice touch. Love it when people come together for entertainment.

Now to the main event...if I see the match writing thread and Envi signs up for the main event I get excited.

The entrance of Lively and Sabur, I marked out nice!! AJP wrestling in a dress, and the heels do damage, I love it. The match is so sweet, the flow is perfect and riveting. I love how you capture each character perfectly. You are a fucking beast Envi... The post match theatrics awesome. Pennington looks like a bad ass with these tendencies Envi speaks of. Best part of the night...I got my belt back bitches!!!

GREAT SHOW!!! Now homework for all those involved in that Meltdown card. Feedback, pull out some detail try to be descriptive on what you like, or don't like.
