In the closing moments of a live broadcast of APW Meltdown, Megastar Vincent Pennington delivered a Spear to one half of the tag team M&M, Megastar Aubrey J. Parker. During the faulty landing of the maneuver, Parker's head struck one of the ring post's turnbuckle supports leaving her unconscious as the show hurriedly went off the air.
Parker was transported to the Saint Francis Medical Center on Monday night where she was diagnosed with a concussion, and released on Tuesday morning. She was not available for comment or interview.

On Tuesday morning, Logan Alexander, Aubrey J. Parker’s tag team partner, issued this statement in regards to the events the unfolded at the end of Monday Night Meltdown.
“No. I’m not here to give an update on Aubrey’s condition. She has been concussed and when she feels ready to give an update about her status, then you will have it. For now she's going to take her time to recover so she'll be ready for One Night in Hell... hopefully."
"Instead, I have someone else I’d rather address… because it seems I now have my own ‘Pennington Problem’ to deal with.”
“If the game is too hard for you to play ‘Hardknocks’, then go back home and take you piss poor attitude with you, or you can step up your performance in the ring if you don’t like losing. Don’t prove to everyone that you lack a spine by blindsiding opponents in the ring after a match because you want to make a statement, because you only prove that you are a coward. You got embarrassed in the ring, and you decided to take it out on whoever you could get your hands on. That’s where you crossed the line.”
“You don’t need to worry about retribution coming your way at Meltdown this week. I want you to be able to walk into One Night in Hell. Because for what you did to Aubrey… I’m going to make you pay for it in the ring many times over where it’s all legal."
"Don’t concern yourself with winning the North American championship, Vincent. You may have ended my partner's hopes of winning that title, and I will end yours. Just hope that in three weeks, you’re in better condition than Aubrey is right now.”
