China was much more comfortable than Singapore or anywhere in the Foreign Lands that Asylum has been recently. Kash felt a comfort in knowing this was the Super Power that damn near owned the place he was from. That kind of felt like home. City lights, busy streets, crazy ass Chinamen shooting each other with their own Gang warfare. The smell of good food and partying in the air and he was up in some Office. Tidus Howe had flown to China after hearing about Kash's assault on Borderland. He wasn't too pleased with the news..
Tidus Howe: So? You think I'm suppose to believe you saw a spider on his face so you hit it with a Shot Glass.
Jason Kash: Yup. Big ol' sum bitch, should have seen it!
Tidus Howe: And then it appeared on his Ankle? So you tried to stomp on it? Yeah, I'm not really buying that..
Jason Kash: I'm not really selling that. How the fuck do you have an Office in China?
Tidus Howe: Aghhh!! It's my Father's Business Office, I'll be right back...I swear...
From behind the big desk that over looks an open windowed wall. Tidus heads out of the door. Kash pushes up from the Lazy Boy and walks over and looks out the wall sized windows that look out at the city below.
Jason Kash: Ryan Wisler, Johnny Knuckles, Ted Demon Soul, Glenn Hendricks, Odin Belfore, and now Shane Borderland. Every partner I've had in my career, and these names are just the majority of them. Every one of them called an ally at one time. Before or after the alliance, all of them defeated or broken at the hands of Influence. In one night at the bar I shook up the Asylum Main Event without being apart of it. In one sit down at the bar I have changed the landscape of the World Championship match.
Now instead of adding my name, last year's winner of the Asylum Chamber Match, I get punished with a Handicap Match. I got no fines, no arrests, but now I get 3 men staring at me from across the ring. Two of whom I've faced before in Yarmouth and Hopkins but no, APW felt the need to add yet another BIG SON OF A BITCH in The Soul Of Philly. I pissed off the wrong people and truth be told, I'd do it again. I'd do it not to change the landscape but because he was just wasting his time.
I did him a FAVOR taking him out of the picture. His track record as of late has been poor and yet he somehow found himself in the Main Event of the Asylum Chamber Match. What APW wanted was me but they settled for my shadow of recent past. The last guy I carried and in all truth of the matter, I'm tired of carrying people. It's why I haven't had partners since and won't have one until one can stand on his own, cast his or her own shadow. Now comes my punishment...
Tidus Howe: You should be thankful they didn't Suspend you. Or worse, strip you of your Championship. What were you thinking?
He hadn't noticed Tidus reenter the Room. His smile meets Tidus glare and he returns to the Lazy Boy as Tidus returns to his Father's big Scarface, BAWSE like Desk. Tidus grabs a cigar out of a box on the desk and cuts the tip. As he rolls it in a flame, Kash answers his question.
Jason Kash: Clearly I was thinking: That's One BIG ASS SPIDER!! Hehe...The better question is why didn't I do it sooner? Why didn't I do it when he came to Asylum and tried to be something he's not and could not be. ME...
Tidus Howe: While it was clear he tried to feed off what he had learned from you, it now has you standing across the ring alone. Against three men, all whom have a great deal of talent. Together as a team? What are your odds there Kash?
It dawned on him that his odds might not have been great. Tidus pointing that out really didn't matter because it's something he knew first seeing the card. He gets up from the Lazy Chair and stretches into a yawn.
Jason Kash: Fuck the odds. I don't care about being "Punished" and if they want to pit me against the entire roster, I guess I'll go as long as I can with these here hands of mine. If that doesn't work, I'll grab a chair. Hell I will go and buy a cow prod and see how many of them even step in the ring with me then.
Tidus Howe: Haha! And you think the Officials will allow this?
Jason Kash: I'll prod them too. Fuck it! If anybody wants my belt, they know where to come to find it. Pry it from my laid out corpse. Jair Hopkins, TJ, Yarmouth, Knuckles, I will go to hell and back with each one of them back to back, week in and week MOTHERFUCKIN OUT! I will go Queen Latifah from Set It Off in this bitch...
Tidus Howe: Now you're just being Silly. How after that Caged Ladder Match which possibly put an end to Johnny Sykes career can you take a 3 on 1 Handicap Match so jokingly? This can put a damper on One Night In Hell..
Jason Kash Because I'm telling you right now. Win, lose or draw, I will not be pummeled in the ring. I will not be some punching bag for a handful of guys who have only been CONTENDERS at the very best. TJ is big, he has speed with his size and probably would kick my ass if we were stuck in a small little space. Yarmouth too but I put that big fucker away before, I'll do it again. TRUST that if I'm going down, I'm taking some folks with me. That's legit.
Tidus Howe: I'm tired of arguing with you about it. Do as you will just know that you got through Sykes and the Caged Ladder and now you've added some more to you before One Night In Hell. How much damage, how much abuse can you stand before you fall flat on your face? What happens when November turns into December and the Nightmares, the violent thoughts pass you by? What then huh?
He didn't know the answer. What would happen? It was something he tried not to ask himself, he tried to think he can just continue his reign much like he did last year. He sailed through big matches, having been in more First Time matches in APW than most anyone else. He felt he had alot more to offer in APW but the answer to that question was something he'd have to come back too when December's chill rolled in.
Jason Kash: I don't know..I need some air, I'll be back later..
Tidus Howe: I didn't mean to--
Kash already at the door to the Office just raises a hand as he leaves the room. Tidus slumps back into his Father's big chair as Kash enters the hallway of the Office building. Chinese men, short and all their eyes almost closed as they watch him head for the elevator. He nods at a few and notices that not too many women work in the building. He laughs at the thought. The notion that women still don't have an equal respect in some countries just amuses him to no end. Like some talent in APW, they just can't find the respect they feel and maybe have earned. Their hard work, their dedication. Not Sykes of course, not Shane Borderland but guys like Yarmouth and TJ. Guys who he would come to know very soon.
As he enters the first Elevator that opens, he pushes the L1 button and the doors close. Being so high up, the ride will take a moment. He can't help but think more on his opponents. No matter the odds, they were still going to be trained for. He was still going to be prepared to do something and be seen even with the deck stacked against him. The elevator music is some dongs and flutes, nothing like you'd hear in America but the different was welcoming. Just the same, getting into the ring with something different made him feel surprisingly warm inside.
Jason Kash: Most folks in my position would call it a day, would know that all is lost. Me though? I'm looking at taking out three men, all of whom have made their own marks in APW and on the Asylum Brand. Most notably would be TJ. Some might think I'd say Jair Hopkins cause he's my opponent for the PPV but he's almost as much of a shadow as Borderland was known for. Just a better speaker (speller). No, in this moment the bigger challenge would be the big man from Philly and it shouldn't come as a surprise to nobody. He's big, athletic and a man on a mission to beat Farquhar and become the new TapOut Champion.
Not an easy gig by any means. I know first hand how much of task it is to face Farquhar and I plan to one day get another round with the man. TJ gets his sooner and he's pissed off going into the second round. Maybe it's cause his Football team sucks dick. Maybe it's because as much as he wants it he also knows that his chances to actually become TapOut Champion shrink as the days come closer to One Night in Hell. Why? Heh..Because big men like him often get angry and stay angry and often they don't know how to handle it while having to THINK at the same time. Yeah, it's a tough time for big men in this business.
Knowing the only thing any of them really have is size over any given opponent. See I don't need all that girth, I don't need all that raw power because unlike TJ and unlike Yarmouth, I have skill and the ability to find ways to win even against the wall. Have any of these dudes beat Sally Talfourd before? I have, I did last year in the Asylum Elimination Chamber! This is MY TIME OF THE YEAR! I've only just begun my reign as Suicidal Champion and I will leave a wake of blood and violence in my path as I tear through people who stand in front of me...
The elevator dings and the doors open. He steps out into the Lobby of the Office Building and heads to the front rotating doors. The fresh breath of air hits him as he steps out onto the sidewalk. As he gets into a stride, his voice breaks out as his eyes look around at the different people, buildings, and overall surroundings.
Jason Kash: Jair Hopkins? You and I have a date set. No Dinner, no foreplay, we'll get together and rock each others world. This is our second date, last time was a group outing and now, at the PPV it will be just you and I. Can you come out of the shadows and play? I ended Sykes career, sent him to the infirmary and now it will be your turn. You don't have a roll up victory to brag about, you don't have anything to brag about or help your claim as to how or why you'd end up winning this match.
You've been ignored by everyone on the roster even your buddy Bailey has ignored you. He's let his celebrity get to his head, he's distanced himself from his friends hasn't he? Now you're just a shadow figure needing someone else to hide behind. You're almost up to bat, better swing for the fences because I'm beelining the pitch right to your eye sight. I want you blind, beaten and retired by my hand. One Night In Hell, that is your Wrestling Obituary...Haha! That's nice right?
He strolls down the street whistling a tune as the scene fades to black from behind him.
