* 5-0 yeah baby. That’s right 5 wins 0 losses...So far! But honestly while I’m having so much fun in the back of mind, It’s still much to be done. So numbers come and go but memories don’t fade and the impact I plan to make is bigger than that. I have what it takes and I have what it needs to be a champion again and I guarantee It’s not a dream. I’m more than what you expected of me.
Recently
The scene opens on a cold & rainy day as Young Mannie is shopping around Takoma Park, D.C.; He’s at one his favorite stores the CD/Game Xchange. He’s around the store checking out some Skateboard decks as he tells of the employees he wants to buy them all. He also walks up to the cd/dvd section of the store and asks for all the Tech9ine & ICP cd’s have and all the Puro and Lucha Libre DVD’s as well. Mannie is then tapped on the shoulder by an anxious fan, Mannie turns around and responds
Mannie: Ahhh…I will all of these boards and can I get of all the Puro & Lucha Libre you guys carry along with the all the Tech 9ine & ICP cd's you got.
Fan: Excuse me are you a Young Mannie?
Mannie: Yes I am…
Fan: Wow I love APW and I love Meltdown, It’s always has a fresh feel about it every week. And you’re just one of my favorite wrestlers! I love when you hit the DBM and drop people on their heads.
Mannie: Smiling That’s my favorite part too…
Fan: So Mannie what’s going with you and that Shanell girl?
Mannie: We’re partners.
Fan: Right… Winking So what’s do you have planned for One Night In Hell?
Mannie: Well I have a few tricks up my sleeve, and some more up my other. I mean I can’t give away too much.
Fan: Okay but I mean how much planning can you do for a Last Man Standing Match and against more than one opponent?
Mannie: That’s true so all I can do is just prepare my body for some grueling action. It’s not going to be a family friendly match nor will any of the Pay Per View…Truth to be told ONIH is probably my favorite pay per view besides RassleMania. So much violence and raw hatred In the air…Plus I had my one of first pay pre view main events on that show. So what’s not too like? Smirking
Fan: Wow…So I was wondering may I have your autograph and some pics with you?
Mannie: Of course!
Mannie writes on the shirt of the fan with a marker, and he poses for a few pictures and even some more with others who stop in to take a couple each with him. Mannie finishes up as he grabs his skateboard decks & DVDs as he goes the parking lot down the street. Mannie locates his car as he gets inside; He turns on the vehicle as the engine roars, while Mannie sits quietly as he reflects a bit. Mannie sparks a blunt he had inside his glove department as he rolls up the windows, He then takes his ipod docking it and turning on the song “Racks On Racks” by Bei Maejor. The keys kick in as he turns up the music as he chills out
*For everything I use to be, I have to be better than and make my future brighter. I don’t want to go back I want to be more, The fans have given me so much since I’ve came back to APW and I can’t afford to let them down. I need to keep bringing my a-game and if I continue I know my goals will be reached sooner than later. No matter how the Johnny Diamond tries to stop me, He can’t I’m too damn good and he knows Lively title reign will be ended by my hands or by god with the help of me. Lively think it’s okay to politic and get by on those merits and not by his own skill or talent. Sure he has his moments but it’s always some type of way he weasels into being successful, He’s only made an ass of himself but a enemy out of the whole Meltdown Roster including my partner Shanell. The Hey-Zeus may think his reign will be forever but it’s going to crumble faster than the Roman Empire. Seems like there are many who wants to see me fail, From Michael Lively to Johnny Diamond to even the rookie "The Finnish Phemon" who seems keeps trying to achieve attention from me. It’s funny you can’t try goat me, I don’t have nothing to prove to you rookie. You step into my company and my brand running your mouth and for the moment it’s cute but after a while it’s going to get annoying and can bet I will shut you up. You can talk about my past like I stated before the past is the past, It doesn’t define my future because my present is what’s happening now! So if you want go back to the past in a Delorean go right ahead because it’s doesn’t matter because, you weren’t there and you can’t quote shit. I’m dedicated and well acclaimed, you haven’t even finished brushing your disgusting teeth. I’ve been in more main events against other top talent than you can dream of. Mannie smirks as he kisses Shanell much to her surprise. Shanell seems a bit giddy as the two drive off from the police station. Scene fades
The scene opens as Young Mannie is standing in the middle of the United Center, The APW ring crew has already set up the ring, As he standing in it. The Ring Crew is around him working on the stage and everything else. Mannie looks around the arena as he takes in the atmosphere, He admires it all as he asks for a chair from a roadie. A chair is handed to him as he sits down and a camera starts rolling.
Mannie: APW…Welcome to the United Center! This is the arena where I will finally come full circle after weeks of games & manipulation. The arena where Michael Lively will finally have to fight me like the champion he claims to be. I’m not going joke around with anyone of you, I’ve been salivating at chance of getting my hands on Lively, Ever since that Meltdown where he jumped me. I wanted to beat the hell out of him, ever since that night and sure maybe I caught him later that evening and I nearly decapitated him. But It’s not enough Lively you deserve more pain that you can handle and more for trying to ruin my career and life with that Home Invasion, And while it wasn’t you who physically did it. It was you sent the dogs out on me and it was you who sent those two roid-freaks to nearly kill me. But guess what I’m still here and I’m still standing. Lively they didn’t finish me off and you didn’t get the job done. You may have thought I was satisfied after Bartlett was released, or that I some how forgot or maybe you thought I would’ve been too afraid to get back at you but nah Hey-Zeus I ain’t forget shit. Mannie rubs his face in frustration
Mannie: Oh I can’t wait for One Night In Hell because it’s going to a massacre. You just won’t believe what I’m capable of. Michael count the days down, I want you to know I’m not making threats…I’m making a promise of whopping your ass and it’s going to be…SO DAMN EPIC! I want you to feel every ounce of the pain, I went through and more. You’re going to pay dearly but not just yet. See Monday is the appetizer and I will save every ounce of the real beating for One Night In Hell, I will redefine the whole definition in your mind that night and I promise you will never forget it. I want you to look me in the face and it’s going to be all serious expressions from me. I’m not joking around, You can make all the testicle jokes you want, you call hide behind Sabur I don’t care because sooner or later. You will step into that ring with me and you will accept the fate you have chosen and if not I will make you. Don’t run from me Lively because my soul purpose on Monday and at the Pay per view is making your life a living nightmare. I want you be constantly looking over your shoulder. Because you know what I’m out of my fucking mind and I love it! Hey-Zeus prepare for me all you can I just hope you, have a back-up plan. Because I got plenty of tricks waiting for you. Monday Lively it will begin.
Mannie gets up from his seat as paces around the ring
Mannie: You’re going to suffer, It’s going to be a slow agony and it’s going to make you quiver from each blow. I have so many ideas and ways to hurt you, All you can hope for is that someone eliminates you before I finish you! You won’t leave without me hurting you. I will bring violence that night and you can expect nothing less. See & hear what I’m saying Lively it’s the truth. I can’t stand you and I promise, I’m not letting you walk out as the NA champ as long as I have anything to do with it. But before One Night In Hell…I have the 6 man tag and it’s going to be a good night. Not only do I have actual people I like but more also people I trust watching my back. I have the new upstart, my friend and occasional lawyer “The Smooth Operation” Williams D. Williams. And I have the Lovely Shanell Lewis on my side and for me that’s all I need for me to defeat the tandem of Street Wilson, Shadow, and You Hey-Zeus. You three don’t have anything remotely in common, let alone should you three be tagging together.
Mannie strokes his chin as he smiles
Mannie: Streets I’ll start with you old man…You’re a classic, a bonafide APW Legend and hell even more than all of that you’re extinct. You’re a washed Megastar who wants to be back on top and now it’s not a big deal about you being old but even though you are. It’s about how you took the bow the first time and it should’ve been enough and could’ve moved on with your life. But now Streets you wanted to come back because you couldn’t drop “The Itch” well by all means I have your having a good time because on Monday it’s not going to be all peppermints and butterscotch candy. Monday Is going to be a first hand showcase of why your return will stay lack luster, Simply because APW has moved too far ahead away from you. APW is no longer held up by your era, it’s moving forward and it’s not looking back. You can shadowbox from 12 AM to 12 PM I don’t give a damn, Because at the end of the day. I’m a better wrestler than you ever where and ever will be. I’m the current and the future of APW. I’m the guy who is going to wrestle circles around and school on the fundamentals. I’m almost half your age and I’m not any where near my prime. If I were you, I would do my homework on not only Young Mannie but the basics. I won’t embarrass you that much but second thought, Why not one-up you. I’m back in APW to make impacts not to just be idle and to collect paychecks. I’m going to go through without breaking a sweat and I know how out of shape you are so I know you can’t say that same. Hit the gym and study up, your in for a full night of wrestling school and it’s not cheap. I’m walking out victorious and it just might be on your dime. See you Monday Streets!
The camera zooms in tighter on Mannie
Mannie: Now Shadow don’t think I forgot about you. You’re not last on my list because of you special or anything, but because I don’t really care about you were being in this match or the Last Man Standing one O.N.I.H. You are just match filler, a little waste of space, I’m not into the whole “Land Of The Lost Giant” pitch get your life together. You seem to be unraveling with each and other week. I don’t wants going on but you used to be a force to be reckoning with, now it seems you just show up to get paid. If you want to waste your own time, go right ahead. But don’t waste mines, because I’m done wasting my time on other people bullshit. Excuse me not for sugarcoating it, Big man you better break whatever you going through, because I’m going chop down them tree limbs you stand and I plan to knock you out soon after. I don’t hold back and I hope you take me out before I get to you.
Mannie backs up and turns his attention to the chair, he walks over to it as he sits back down in it.
Mannie: So lastly to all three of you…I will be waiting!
Scene fades as Young Mannie sits patiently and the ring crew continues around him.
