The Plan Extraction 1 -- A Means to Get His Attention

I’ll take nothing away from her, she’s an excellent competitor! But excellence in the ring against someone like myself, can only take you so far…

It was so quiet, you could literally hear a pen drop. The room seemed to be filled with doubt, many of my comrades couldn’t seem to understand what I was thinking. But what else is new? Nobody ever seems to get my thought process. As both Mr. Lawson and Mr. Turner, my advisors, glared at me, I felt as if I had to explain myself yet again.

The Finnish Phenom
Look, I don’t need you guys to coach me through this. I’ve been in the business for a long time now, I know when the time is right.

Mr. Lawson
It’s obvious to me that you don’t! If you do this now, you’re going to end up ruining your chances! He’s not going to let you get away with it, and you know I’m right!

The silence in the room continued, as no one seemed to understand a damn thing. Them not understanding me, and me not understanding them. But in the middle of the standstill, into the room came the voice of reason, and damn did she look beautiful! I immediately stood from my seat, showing her the proper respect. Because in a world filled with whores, sluts, and lackluster females, Marie was surely the exception to the rule.

Marie
No need to fret, boys. I’m here for pleasure, not business. So, have you heard from your brother yet?

The Finnish Phenom
No, I haven’t. But there’s no need to worry. He’ll show up sooner or later, he always does.

Marie
Well, he better. I’m a very impatient woman, you know this about me.

As she stroked my chin, I couldn’t help but undress her with my eyes. Not like I hadn’t seen her in her birthday suit before, but this evening, she looked exceptionally ravishing! As she knelt down and kissed me, I could feel them trembles throughout my body. Marie… My one and only weakness.

Marie
Why don’t you take off that silly little hood? It’s not like we haven’t seen your face before.

The Finnish Phenom
Not just yet. I’m bringing back tradition, Marie. I can’t allow myself to become vulnerable again. At least, not yet.

Marie
Understandable enough, but I’m tired of the face paint, too. Those people need to know that their hero has come…

The look on my face said it all. She was about to let my biggest secret slip, and I just couldn’t let her.

Marie
They need to know what you look like, they need to know the truth.

The Finnish Phenom
I know, that’s what I’ve been trying to tell Mr. Lawson, and Mr. Turner here. But for some reason, they seem to think that I’d be making a mistake.

Mr. Turner
A big mistake. He wouldn’t last too much longer in APW, if they knew the truth. If they found out the truth, he’d be “future endeavored” before we know it. We need to stop being so impatient, everything will come together in its own time! For now, he really needs to focus on Shanell Lewis.

The Finnish Phenom
You speak as if she even stands a chance, Turner! Xtreme Rules? You know as well as anybody else, that this is MY match! I’ve been making this match famous since before she ever even thought about coming into the business! Hell, I’ve made this match famous in… Well, a lot of places.

Marie
I’d watch it, you almost slipped up for a second.

The Finnish Phenom
I caught myself, I’m smarter than that. Besides, I could be hiding in plain site, and nobody would even notice. But if it’s Shanell Lewis that I should be concerned with, than let’s talk about Shanell Lewis.

Mr. Lawson
You need to keep the ball rolling, you need to continue your dominance. Then, and only then… Will you be able to move forward with the plan.

The Finnish Phenom
I’ll move forward with the plan, whenever I damn well please!

They could tell that by this time, I was a bit more than just a little irritated. But what can I say? Lawson was right… If I want to move forward with my plan, I have to make easy work of Shanell Lewis.

The Finnish Phenom
I don’t see what the big deal is about this woman, she’s really nothing but a fill-in wrestler, anyways. I mean, do you honestly think that you could put her on Overdrive with main event talent, and watch her succeed? No, you couldn’t. She’d fall flat on her face, and become just another afterthought. Me on the other hand, when I get there, I’m going to rule Overdrive. But that’s not there here-and-now. What is, is One Night in Hell… My first APW pay per view. And to be honest, I think that the name is fitting for Ms. Lewis. Because stepping into the ring with me, will truly be one night in hell for her.

Mr. Turner
And you don’t think that she has what it takes to rise to the occasion?

The Finnish Phenom
Not as well as I will, and you know that. Nobody rises to the occasion quite like I do. And seeing as how this is my first pay per view, Shanell Lewis doesn’t stand a chance. The lights will be on just a little bit brighter than they normally are, so I get the chance to show the world what I’m really about. My first two matches, they were just warm ups. Preparation for what was truly to come in just a few weeks. And now that we’ve made it, I’m ready to prove to the world that Meltdown is only going to contain me for a small amount of time. Now, I’ll take nothing away from her, she’s an excellent competitor! But excellence in the ring against someone like myself, can only take you so far… Truth be told, I’m going to rip her apart. I’m going to tear her limb from limb, and hopefully get the attention of her partner in crime.

Marie
Is that what this is all about to you? Getting your hands on Young Mannie?

The Finnish Phenom
No, not necessarily. But if I’m able to do to her what I have planned, he’s undoubtedly going to want to get in the ring with me. He’s going to want to get her a small level of revenge. And then, I’ll get to prove what I’ve been saying about him since day one.

Mr. Lawson
What do you have against Young Mannie, anyways? You two have never even crossed paths!

The Finnish Phenom
I just don’t like him, I never have! I think he’s a sorry excuse for a human being, and I want to end his APW career once and for all. He came back to be on APWs “C-show”, because he couldn’t hack it on either one of their other shows. And all of the sudden, he has a bit of success, and he thinks that he’s a “Megastar” once again? I mean, “think” is the key word there. Because to be a Megastar once again, one must actually be looked at as a Megastar first, which he never was. Young Mannie is a joke, plain and simple. And if Shanell Lewis wants to run around with a joke, then that makes her a joke as well. A joke that I will expose at the pay per view, for the joke that she really is.

As Turner and Lawson both stood up, I knew that they were on their way out for the evening. It was just going to be Marie and myself, which let me know for sure that I was getting lucky. As I tried to contain my excitement, I knew that I had to remain focused, separating business from pleasure. Pleasure would have to wait just about one hour longer.

Mr. Turner
We’ve got business to attend to. Marie, as always, it’s been a pleasure. And bossman, we’ll be in touch.

I shook their hands, and watched them walk out. I could tell that Marie was ready for some action, as she couldn’t keep her hands off of me.

Oh baby, give me just a bit.

Marie
Well, at least take off that silly hood, now! Your cronies are gone, it’s just you and I.

The Finnish Phenom
Actually, no, it’s not.

Marie
No, oh no… You didn’t let those cameras in my house, did you?

What was I supposed to do? I had to do something besides an interview for once.

Marie stood up, I could tell that she was irritated. She’s a very private woman, and it’s all understandable. Being a private man myself, I can understand why my beautiful flower could be agitated with my decision. As she walked out of the room, I knew that this would give me a chance to address Shanell Lewis on a more personal level…

Shanell, I want you to know the truth. What’s going to happen at One Night in Hell, it really isn’t personal between the two of us. Yes, I have a strong disliking for your little boyfriend. A hatred that really goes unexplained. But the simple truth is that I find you guilty by association. This match, these rules, they’re all set up for me to win, and for you to lose. If you’re lucky, you’ll live to fight another day. If not, at least I’ll be getting the attention of that waste of air you call a boy toy. You see Shanell, I really don’t see you as a threat, not even in the slightest. More than that, I see you as a steppingstone. A chance to get my hands around the neck of that “A and B-Show” jobber, that you tend to pal around with. So what I’m going to do, it’s really quite simple. I’m going to beat you within an inch of your life, all the while, I’ll be begging for Young Mannie to come try and stop me. If he does, great, I welcome the challenge. If he doesn’t, that’s fine too. That just means that I’ll make even easier work out of you, and continue to dominate Meltdown, on my way to the top of the Meltdown food chain.

If you haven’t noticed yet, this match that we’re having… It really has nothing to do with you. I need not take you serious, as you’re just a means, Shanell… A means to get his attention. While you might wonder what it is I have against him, it’s just the simple fact that I do not like him. And being associated with him, that automatically means that I dislike you just as much. And whether he knows it or not, Young Mannie knows exactly why I don’t like him. And when I look into your eyes as you stare at me from across the ring at the pay per view, you’ll understand as well. When I’m done with you however, I want you to do me a favor. Get word back to him, that I’m well on my way to coming for him next. I long so bad, to clean up this sport. People like you, people like Young Mannie, you have no purpose, no reason for being in my ring. Because like it or not, that is MY ring! It’s the likes of you, that wrestling fans around the world, find American professional wrestling to be a joke! But have no fear, because part of my plan all along, was to clean this place up. And once I’m finished with you, American professional wrestling will be one step closer to recover, it will be one step closer to being a little less laughed at, and taken a little more seriously!

I have to do this, I have to prove to the world that you’re a phony, and that I’m the real deal! Tuhoa Valo’s plan of extraction goes far beyond the Meltdown roster, but will continue on Meltdown until I’ve defeated every last Megastar that the roster possesses. But if you need a little more convincing Shanell, let’s look at our track records over the past couple of weeks. Yours isn’t too bad, I’m not saying that it is. But while you were busy splitting tag team matches these past few weeks, I was busy dominating on my own. Not only did I dominate, but in two weeks, I’ve taken out three individuals! For you, in two weeks, you’ve managed to go from red hot, to ice cold. And while you’ve managed to stay stagnant, I’ve managed to do exactly what I said I was going to do! I said weeks ago that I was going to make the loudest noise that APW has ever heard in history, and I’ve began to do just that! But believe me when I tell you that I’m not through just yet! I’ve got plans, big plans. Plans that involve Tuho Valo, a whole lot of Megastar injuries, and a statement to be made at a later date. But what could that statement be, Shanell? What statement could I possibly want to make, that I haven’t made thus far? Well, I guess you’ll just have to wait and see. But I can promise you that your loss at One Night in Hell, will not be in vain. It will not go forgotten, and you will forever be credited for assisting me in extracting my master plan.

Just like the rest… Just like all the other APW Megastars that will eventually fall at my feet before my plan is completely executed, you will not be forgotten. Every last one of you will for ever be credited for being lesser wrestlers than the Finnish Phenom. And while you might find that humiliating, I think that you should take pride in the fact that I’m even giving you any credit at all! I don’t throw credit around lightly, and you’ll be getting no more credit from Tuhoa Valo, at any other point in time. So take it how you will, but I think you should take it in a positive manner. Because let’s face it, after this Sunday, nothing more positive could ever come out of your career. I mean, what career are you going to have after I end it? What are you going to be able to do in wrestling, after the best competitor to ever step foot into an Action Packed Wrestling ring, cripples you completely? Truth is, there’s nothing that you’re going to be able to do. There’s nothing that you could possibly do to bring yourself back to prominence, and there’s nothing that you’ll be able to do to erase the memory of One Night in Hell. Nothing, absolutely nothing!

I’ll put it to you like this, and then I’ll leave you to think about it for a while. Tuhoa Valo is a man on a mission. One man, a mission, a mind full of intelligence, and a body full of talent. You’ve seen what I’ve accomplished so far, and I’m sure that you’ve already taken notice. What makes you think, that you’re even in my league? What makes you think that you know enough about me so far, to think that you would even stand a chance against me one on one? I mean, judging by your track record, you do your best when you have a tag team partner. And judging by my track record respectively, I don’t need anyone to watch my back! I don’t need anyone to ensure that I can win a match! Even when I’m up against two people, I don’t need anyone but myself! I get the job done, because I possess the skill to do so. You on the other hand, you possess no skill. You might tag in your partner fairly well, but when it comes to your in ring skills, you depend on Young Mannie. That’s why I can’t wait to get you in the ring at the pay per view! That’s why I can’t wait to get my hands around your neck, and squeeze the last little bit of life out of your tiny little body! So yet again I ask you, Shanell… What makes you think that you even stand a chance against the Finnish Phenom? Because the truth is, you really don’t. I’m certain that you’ll continue to think that you’re going to “wipe the mat” with my face. But when it comes right down to it, anybody who hands around with Young Mannie, is just as untalented as he is. And soon enough, I’ll show you exactly why you should never associate yourself, with the likes of that jobber. Tuhoa… On puhunut.
