I know what people are thinking after watching One Night In Hell. She doesn't have talent. She didn't last long in the over the top battle. She won't make it in this business. They would be wrong too. I play my cards smarter than people might think. What did everyone expect... me to come in and show all I have in a multi-person match? Give my first one on one opponent a first hand look at everything I can do? I think not.
The scene opens with Kaylyn laying on the bed on her stomach flipping through a photo album. Her fingers tracing along the outline of some of the photos as she smiled reminiscing on things of the past.
“Who knew a card typo would have me thinking about the old days. It's crazy how some things work out. I will worry about that at another time though, right now... Shanell Lewis is my focus. You didn't think I forgot about you did you Lewis? Oh no, far from it. In fact, I have been doing some research on you.
First and foremost I commend you on moving forward in life and pursuing your dream, however... the fact that you bring up your past each and every week... sweetheart that don't sit well with me. You struggled in life, I get that. Bullied, kicked out of school, the whole works. You think half of the others haven't been through some of the same as well?
We all have pasts Shanell, but some things are meant to stay in the past... and for you too dwell on what brought you here in the first place... it's only going to bring you back down again in the end. You see, the way I see things, you say this was your dream, but you are doing it to help your mother... Girl, you will not get anywhere in the business if you are not doing it for yourself. This is a dog eat dog world, and you are setting yourself up for failure from the start.
I think it's cute that you want to help Mommy out... but, what has mommy really done for you? Has she been a role model for you? Has she showed you what kind of people should be in your life? From the looks of it you don't know how to live, or what you really want in life. It looks like you are following in your mothers footsteps and letting the wrong kind of people come into your life. Shame how things like that happen.
You need to step up and live your life the way you want to live it, not the way others live their own. You want to make something of yourself then do it, don't sit around waiting for the right opportunity to come to you, because it for damn sure ain't going to happen. I might be new here in APW, but this is going to be the start of showing what I am truly capable of. I am not doing this for anyone but myself. I am able to compete with the best here, and once I show I can get through the little people, I will be fine. Welcome to another loss on your record."
Kaylyn smirked before pushing up from the bed and tossing the photo album down onto it. When it landed it opened to a page and the camera zoomed in to a picture of Kaylyn and Jason Kash at a club together.
