As an aside, Kerry Von Erich was the third guy on my shortlist. Great pick, Gooch; when that guy gave a crap about his craft as opposed to getting himself high, he was the total package in terms of charisma, the superstar look, and actual wrestling ability.

As an aside, Kerry Von Erich was the third guy on my shortlist. Great pick, Gooch; when that guy gave a crap about his craft as opposed to getting himself high, he was the total package in terms of charisma, the superstar look, and actual wrestling ability. I never saw the appeal to him. He threw some wild punches, ran around the ring and looked like a movie star. He was The Ultimate Warrior without the crazy. |

You must've just got the WWF Texas Tornado. His World Class and early stuff was really good. His match with Jerry Lawler is a great one as well. WWF tried to cartoonize him. Dude could go. He was legit.
