Jason Kash: Okay so this is sooner than I guessed. Fuck it, Christmas comes early!
A Bright glow of red, orange, and yellow flicker over Jason Kash's skin like he's covered in glorious barrage of lights. Sand at his bare feet, darkness filling the skies, it's pretty clear where Jason Kash is as the Moon hangs up above, already reflecting a bit off the ocean's surface. A wave crashes into the shore but it sounds louder and more violent than it really is. Standing around a large bon fire, it appears to be a small get together. People are drinking, smoking various things and the women are all wearing bathing suits of a wide variety.
Voice: What is it Boss?
He liked that a bit. The new "Head of Security" Amarant Cornell calling him Boss. That continued to make him smile a bit as the word sank in. In truth he also felt excited because of the size of Amarant. He learned much about his new employee and how he was born in South America but raised by a rich white family in Kansas City. How is life was filled with fighting and disappointment from others, it wasn't until he got into Security work when he came to find acceptance. This made Kash also want to smash Amarant any chance he could get. Just for the sake of doing so to a much larger man.
Jason Kash: Oh it's nothing, I've got my match with Chris Strike happening much sooner than expected. I'm sure Jeff and Reginald along with Mr. Diamond who now heads up Overdrive are licking their chops ready to make a million off his success.
Amarant Cornell: So win the match.
Snapping a glare at Amarant who has his arms behind his back like he's Secret Service or something. His gaze remains forward, staring out at the area around them, eyes covering the horizon and keeping a location on each and every person near them. Kash slaps himself in the face with both hands like Home Alone and stares blankly at Amarant.
Jason Kash: You know...I never thought about that! I could win the match!! I could go into the ring and NOT lay down for him, ignore what people want and say FUCK Management like NWA said to the Police? I could do that couldn't I?
Amarant Cornell: Maybe. I'm not certain of your skill set yet.
Jason Kash: My..? My skill set? You're not certain? Are you being paid to be certain about those things? Look biggin, I will fuck you up alright? Be certain of that...Let me handle my business alright? I don't lay down for nobody, wrestling is real you butthead!
Amarant Cornell: Looks fake to me...You do have women as World Champions.
Jason Kash: Wha? You big mother f--
Kash spins around in the sand with a huge overhand left directed at Amarant's face. Just like at the PPV though, Amarant grabs the incoming fist with his bare hand. He bends it to the side and brings it down. Kash stunned pulls free of Amarant's grip and slaps the piss out of him with his free right hand. Amarant looks angry as he snaps back at Kash but retains himself. Kash smiles, his missing front teeth clear even in the night.
Jason Kash: You see my teeth? Sally, the World Champion did that. Her and I? We've got history together inside the ring and let me tell you something. When you kick her where it hurts, she's got something there! Enough balls for two people if you will! (Hi Hart/Sally!) Now I'm going to go for a nice walk along the beach. Dream of the Playboy Models who like doing this kind of shit...You stay put...Fucking guy..You'll get a lesson real soon on how "Real" this shit is. Watch the match at Asylum...Dumb summama bitch!
Walking away from the big bonfire, Kash begins to fade in the darkness as he gets further away. His feet wet from the shoreline, he sinks in a bit with every step as he gets to where the water breaks. It comes in and covers his feet and feels good and cold. Now a good distance from the others, Kash turns to the ocean and sits down into the sand.
Jason Kash: I've known OF Chris Strike for a while now, it's hard not to know a man of his skill level. For months I've been looking to increase the level of competition on Asylum. After smashing names like Johnny Sykes, Johnny Knuckles, Nathaniel Havok, and most lately, Jair Hopkins. I can finally say my call for the increase has arrived. I've fought and survived all things for this moment. I thought it was something I'd have gotten from Michael Callahan but he was one chair shot away from crumbling beneath me. Will Chris Strike be that same hyped failure in the ring? I doubt it, fans doubt it. APW Management has faith in the big, known names coming into APW right now. Men and women who have made themselves known in other promotions that are now setting their sights on Action Packed Wrestling.
Coming to Asylum, filling this roster means you recognize the things we've done to make this the best brand. It means you see guys like myself, guys like Callahan, Bailey, and even Sally Talfourd again as being names of the highest form of competition. Where as guys like Keaton Saint and Johnny Rebel having FAILED on Overdrive have lead them here. That's the difference between you and them Strike. The difference between you and I though has more to it. You're a beast, you push yourself and your opponent each and every time I've see you compete. I appreciate that, I crave to have people opposite of me who do that very thing. It helps make the experience much, much more interesting wouldn't you agree?
Far out in the Ocean are lights from a big boat or something. Kash wonders what those people might be doing. Fishing, fucking, maybe even burying their pregnant wife at sea to hide the body. So many different things could be taking place, it's anyone's guess. Much like betting on a winner for this upcoming match, place your bets but never really know the answer.
Jason Kash: I remember when a guy who had won Survive & Conquer came to APW. Alioth Starre was his name and I was one of his first opponents, him being officially on the roster. I was World Champion then and he got me, pinned me inside the ring and truthfully I was so focused on being a Contender, being a World Champion that I overlooked anyone who wasn't competing for my belt. I mean KNUCKLES beat Starre the very next Asylum show I believe and him beating someone I didn't means I fucked it up. This is my second chance to face an "Outsider", to compete with someone who's fame, who's "hype" comes from some where else. To show that belt or no belt, I'm someone to notice. I'm someone who these "Hyped Outsiders" should get to know quickly.
See I've been around the block myself, I've had success else where as well but when I put out a new T-Shirt today it says one Promotion, Action Packed Wrestling. The difference between you and I Strike is that APW, Asylum is my HOME. You coming into it, wanting to take what is mine makes you an invader. Makes you an intruder and intruders get shot. They get duct taped and locked in a fucking trunk. I don't call the police like Bailey's cunt of a girlfriend. I take justice into my own hands and with you? That justice will be thunderous.
With this being the time of Politics and votes I wouldn't dare assume I'd get a popular vote and maybe you win that Strike. Maybe everyone sees you as the favorite in a Title Match involving my belt. Maybe it goes down just as those people see it going, maybe my time with the belt is over. But MAYBE I stand tall to this challenge, I take this new "God" from the Heavens and do you like I would have done Michael Lively if he'd have stepped to Asylum. See him and I have had some words, a bit of beef and to my surprise he moved to Overdrive. I guess all that talk he had was just that, just fabrication of the truth. Much like Jesus and much like "God" I will show that this world is not run by a higher power but the will of those who will fight to survive and have success against that power. David always beat Goliath, African Americans beat Slavery, and Luke beat Darth Vader!
His head jerks behind him as voices are heard approaching. The voices belong to two people as they walk side by side. They're talking politics. A topic Kash just can't seem to give a shit about. As they pass by and are far enough away to not be heard anymore, Kash goes back to looking out over the water.
Jason Kash: Vote for Kash! Fuck that, don't vote for me cause the only vote I need is of my own and me beating you? I co-sign that shit all day long! I'm on point like Kevin Durant, on point like the Atlanta Falcons or the Houston Texans. I'm just doing it alone, without the hype of anything not proved HERE in APW. You got respect, you got mad hype but in APW you'll find yourself needing more than that to win. Maybe I've got it all wrong, maybe I will walk into the ring and be put to sleep under a minute. Heh. Wouldn't that be funny? Maybe it's you who finally puts the nail in my coffin. Could that be the case? Can you accomplish that feat? What an accomplishment that'd be huh? Maybe in turn I can switch it up, open some eyes, see some mouths drop in utter shock simply by putting your shoulders to the mat. Just maybe I do that but against the "God Of Thunder"? Could my mind hold that success, could I hold that and all else I've done HERE and NOT go bat shit crazy with excitement?
I'm not hard to solve Strike. I come in a real basic form but that form is also truth. I don't over exaggerate nothing. Not who I am or who anyone else is. If I'm hyping something up it's because it deserves it and has earned such praise. While you've done plenty, none of it has given me a reason to see you as anything but another name wanting his shot at shinning. On Asylum, that gate opens through me. That's no lie, look at my history here, ain't gotta go no wheres else homie. Check the stats and see the names laid in defeat. Sally Talfourd among them and now she strutting like a peacock wearing the Gold I've already held twice. It's a new day for Asylum but the things that don't change with that new day is who I am and the position I maintain on this roster.
You want to challenge that? Try and take that from me? Fine, cool, step the fuck up...Just be ready to go from "Godly" to being seen as a Myth. Something that could have been real, could have happened but is only told through passed down stories. That is the lesson being learned here. I will pick up things from this match, there is no lying there. You have much experience but with too much experience comes too much confidence and by GOD I will find a hole, an opening no matter how small it has to be and I will expose it, tear it wide and fuck you in it. Maybe you beat me in the end but Maybe I beat you...It's why these matches are so fun! I'm looking forward to the sweat, the tears, and the pain that comes soon enough...Fuck Extreme Rules, this is a Suicidal Thing!
He lays back onto the sand and the camera comes over his face. Eyes closed, the camera fades as it watches a resting Jason Kash.
