Thanks to Kash, Envi and Bailey who wrote matches. Thanks to Knuckles, Yarmouth, Sally, Kash, AJP, Atken, Callahan, and Bailey for segs. Yarmouth's seg didn't make it to air due to continuity issues that were beyond yar's control. Sorry for the late show. Tons of segs, ton's of coding to correct. Man this is one episode I'm glad to have done.

I'm not going to run down the entire show like normal because so much of it is Knuckles, Sally's Group, Myself, and I might as well just put everything in blocks as far as segments go. So I'll start with ALL of Knuckles Segments.
I like the direction he is going, I know where he's going and have seen most of it before it gets onto the shows. I worry that the history of the man in the mask might not matter because it didn't happen here. It's like bragging about a World Title nobody seen you have but people seem to like it, I like it because I remember the character. Still I enjoyed merging Kash into the story a bit due to us feuding, we need to get Strike involved as well but he seems to be concerned with Overdrive stuff more so we'll see if that happens. I thought it was funny to have Kash be the masked guy who attacks Knuckles after his match with Strike. I tried to sell that it was Kash as well, hopefully it worked that way but the segment after with Knuckles taking the mask off of Kash should have shown that. Christmas Chaos is going to be a blast because Knuckles is using a much better style now in writing and is really coming into his own.
Next is Sally's Segments because while I maybe SHOULD go ladies first, she is our World Champion and is more of a challenge than most men in our game so she doesn't get that common thing, there is more respect to degrade her as a simple woman and have her first. Continuing on though, The team coming together was a fresh pace for a Stable. Most people just come out, introduce this member or that one or have this big beat down to show the group. Being a "Face" group you couldn't exactly play up to the normal formations and it worked. Do I think 2 "Face" groups, both of which have members who wouldn't mind ending Kash's career is a good idea? Of course I do! That makes my job to write for this, towards this have even further meaning and motivation. LOVE that. Although if Dying Breed and Team Sally get together and feud, someone turns Heel and we have a REAL fucking War Games! No one cage, one ring but do it up TWO RING STYLE! The end video on this will be dedicated to the new groups of Asylum.
Now is it me or was Kash mentioned ALOT during the segments? KJE and AJP, which Holy FUCK I want to see so badly now! Did you feel the tension between those two? Fuck it was insane and gave me light goosebumps reading it. Can I at least pretend their fighting over Kash? Oh how I dream! Between that mention, mentions in Sally's segments with Strike, Knuckles segments, and my own? Kash was sold on Asylum! Can't hate that right?
The matches were gripping. I was a big fan of Knuckles and Strike and I wrote it and liked it! Can you believe I liked a match I wrote? The ending for Knuckles using a chair while the ref was out, getting violent, being aggressive due to his frustrations with all going on? Perfectly fitting to the night. The Main Event was just dope, Michael Callahan every week makes me want to be his buddy. Baseball batting Sally is just hilarious and Callahan doesn't use weapons so this was a big moment for him period. This makes me excited knowing he finally has someone he can build a epic feud with because he for sure will make a feud grasping to anyone with a pulse.
This was a very good Asylum show, literally better than a handful of others I have seen in my 2+ years on this roster. Overdrive, Meltdown combined, this was one of the better moment having shows in a while. Hart/Noble splitting officially was a big night recently as well but this was just brilliant stuff all show. So to end my "segment based" review of Asylum I want to share a song with the two new Groups on Asylum. AND to everyone who doesn't have partners and needs a...

Callahan went nuts and introduced his signed by Edgar Martinez baseball bat just before ONIH.

Yeah but this was the biggest spot using it to me. This defined him having it period. Maybe it was the vibe of Callahan finally getting to his best as a heel.

Yeah, I remember that as well. You're not the World Champion though. Doing it a few times to ranked names is cool but doing it to a World Champion is the impact. Kind of like how Bret and HBK did the first Ladder match but Hall and HBK got credited and remembered for theirs. Also I appreciate the bat coming AFTER the small feud we had Callahan..Appreciated!

- Ok, I've said I'm not a big fan Knuckles DMC, and i'm still not, but another attack by the man in black. The government is after Knuckles! It's nice seeing this again and continued. I'm also happy that he defended it against an actual guy. I still don't like the goofiness the whole thing has around it with the way that Knuckles has been acting. - Interesting segment between Saint and Sally. When Sally said she wanted to make Asylum THE brand of APW, I wondered how. Guess getting Saint was the first step and she'll be getting some more people. Wonder who she'll get. - Good match written by Kash here. Although it's the Philly Cheeselock not Philadelphia Cheeselock! GAH READ THE PROFILE! Kidding. It was a good read and I liked the bit that Yarmouth had it won but forgot it was a submission match. It was fun to RP against you Yarmouth. Put up some interesting RPs this week almost threw me off my game. - REGGIE HAS SOME BALLS! Great segment between Cuntahan and Schmidty. I liked the "Give Knuckles 20 bucks. It's Christmas time after all and times are hard" line. I don't know if this is going to lead anywhere, but if it does, it'll be interesting. Could Callahan really be jumping ships? Hmmmm we'll have to see. Interesting note that a show after Bailey requested his rematch, Callahan wants one. NUmber one contender's match? LETS DO IT! CALLAHAN. BAILEY. FOR A SHOT AT THE TITLE. UNCLE RUCKUS AS SPECIAL REFEREE! LIVE ON PPV! AHHHHH! - Fantastic match by Kash. Loved it. It sucks taht Strike could only put up one RP but I'm happy no silliness with the DMC after a serious match. This is why I don't like the DMC, had Knuckles lost he would have rolled Strike up or something to get it back and just devalue everything that just happen because it loses its seriousness. - AJP segment. Putting Spade in his place. I like it. I love it. Now, as much I love seeing two girls go at it, I hope this Asylum appearance by KJE isn't something is going to happen alot a-la M&M and Vince Pennington showing up on Overdrive weekly. It sends a message that if you're on Meltdown, which is still a developmental brand despite some great talent, you can still be on the shows weekly. I know they won't get booked, but if you keep showing up on the "main" shows show after show, week after week, what's the point? Sorry mini-rant. Was a great segment and hopefully KJE finds her way to Asylum at one point. - Anyone else reading the Knuckles/Kash segment think this? When he screamed Kash? Just me? Cool. Anyways, Kash was the man in the mask/black? Didn't see that coming. So this whole time it's been Kash? Oh man. Great segment and that was quite the surprise. Wonder why Kash blindesided him in the first place. Hopefully because he thinks the DMC is stupid and goes all Edge and destroys a laptop in the middle of the ring. - I said that the Dying Breed had a heelish tinge to it, and it didn't exactly go away in this promo. I mean it did, but, it's still there in how Bailey presents the group. It has that "we're here to make the world better our way" feel to it that many heel factions have, but it's filled with faces. I loved the segment and it's my natural habit to read into things, just the way I am, and i keep "hearing" the words and hearing boos from the fans but its bailey and the people love bailey. I love bailey. I do love this though as now Bailey and Callahan are almost the same person but not. Much like the templars and the assassins in AC3, both wanting the same goal, but different methods. and if you don't know what I'm talking about, go get Assassins Creed 3. DO IT! - Biggs writes the match. Biggs is the GM of Asylum. Biggs wrote Chase as the commentator.....Hmmm something's not right . Anyways, solid match between Saint and Slade. - THIS IS THE KNUCKLES I LIKE TO SEE! I hope that this Dark Match CHampionship stuff is done. I really do. I loved this segment. - And Phil Atken speaks and speaks volumes. Alot in teh segment. Sounds like REginald better have his lawyers ready. Although, i don't know how much of a case he'll have since it's Asylum where history shows that it's been mostly extreme matches. I loved what he said about the main event. It wasn't that long ago that Bailey and Sally were facing off for the title and everyone was talking about the deal between those two and it really hasn't been talked about since a show or two after Shockwave, so it was cool to see someone bring it back up. I enjoyed the section about Sally's group. - Kash and Julius, before hte week, I was excited because I missed the first match up between these two and it was new to me. Good match written by Bailey it flowed very well and made both look good. - AH SHE'S GOT KASH! HAHAHA! I like that you two followed up the twitter comment from Kash. - I wonder who the fourth member of Sally's group is gonna be. I'm excited...TJ! Holy shit did not see that coming? Seriously, if there was a moment where I ever felt like I didn't belong. It wasn't at a Black Panther's meeting, wasn't at Sober Bar, it was when Sally asked me to join her Strike and Keaton. I mean first off, they all have "s" in there name and I don't. Second off, all those three have done something in places that matter. Me on the other hand, I struggle to put my pants on in the morning. Hopefully y'all are as excited as I am to see how this unfolds. - Whoa, it wasn't Kash?!? WHAT?! MINDFUCK! Seriously, you weren't lying Knuckles. You stole this guys identity? Did you steal his underwear too? It is christmas and all and times are tough. He didn't take hte DMC so you know it's a serious dude. - That bat! THAT DAMNED BAT! Phil is on a roll! And not the bakery kind of roll. Oh man, thank god there is only one show between now and CC because I can not wait for Atken vs Sally. Colin Seacrest is rolling and Sally is on quite the roll herself. THe other thing is Callahan and Bailey, no interaction between them after weeks and weeks and weeks of the two of them. It was a great main event by Evan....again. Overall thoughts: - Very heavy show between Knuckles, Kash, and Sally. I tried to get something in, just didn't have anything I wanted to say. Although I think next week I will. - No champion won this week, although two of them only put up one RP to two, still, if they had, it would have been tough and it just shows the level of talent we got on Asylum and in APW is REDUNKCULOUS! My head caseness reads all the Rps and go "People think I'm good?" - I said it earlier, but no stuff between Callahan and Bailey and I'm disappointed. It was one of those bi-weekly things that I looked forward too. - With Raab back, hopefully Yarmouth and Raab get back on track. - Good luck to Saint and Farq. Will send you two early gifts if you throw this match so I can feel real good about myself going into CC.

You are the first person to give feedback on it. I think I just have to be more careful with how I approach segments and even promos because every stable I've led (Only about 2 through my whole e-fedding career) has been heel so this whole new face stable thing is brand new to me. I just want to shy away from the whole "we're the young and up and coming meek guys on the block" image, especially with Asylum being the more violent brand, it just wouldn't be a good look and could make us look weak in my opinion. More feedback on The Dying Breed would be appreciated from other members of Asylum. Any things we need to do or shy away from? Let me know.

Wow TJ. That was a real good feedback you wrote on the actual show. I always enjoy to read them every week dude and I already started the segment that I got planned for the next Asylum show which is 50% done so you will definitely see a segment coming from me.
Yeah on the show itself. I can see some real interesting storyline's coming though and I really love the whole Tap Out Gauntlet idea as it gives other people a chance for the title and I wish you all the best of luck in that.
A big question mark on the whole Dark Match Championship thing as it does seem kind of fun in a way but will it be an official title sort of thing in APW or it just is something for fun? I don't know but I guess we can wait and see what happens on that.
I already PMed you on this already but god damn have you stepped your game up or what Yarmouth because lately I been real impressed on the improvements that you have done on your RP's as of late and been real interesting to say the least. I know I have to really step up my game now as well. If you keep this up Yarmouth then I can see you beating me if our match happens on Christmas Chaos or not with you being in the Tap Out Gauntlet match but we have already talked about that.
I was however quite surprised with the results of the Saint/Slade as I thought Slade had the match won like the same with Bailey/Sally team winning as well but it's nice to see some surprises.
I also can't wait for the match between TJ and Julius again as there are some problems that are unsolved between the two that need solving. I like the way the Asylum show is going and keep it up everyone.

With The Dying Breed and Sally's Group both being face, I think and see both turning or could turn to a Heel group just as fast as the groups formed. Both groups HAVE to clash damnit! Why form a group without something to fight for and who doesn't want the top spots? Plus both groups dislike Kash and well....TO THE BATCAVE!

Another fortnight down, and another Asylum in the bag. TJ beat me to the ‘longest and most awesome feedback’ post, so I kindly direct everyone to his for a fuller account and feedback.
Knuckles opens up the show, yet again. Not that that’s a bad thing. I’m still liking this storyline that’s running. The whole jilted-cum-insane champion. Yeah we’ve seen things like it before, but it’s always able to be turned into something fresh and interesting, especially when we have someone we know and like running it. I like the hamming up that’s going on and I like how the fans are divided. Drawing Yarmouth in, it adds a degree of reality beyond what Mr. Dangerous brought to the table. Finally, I like that the belt changes hands like this. I don’t know how much I will like it after a third time, but two times is entertaining enough.
TJ/Yarmouth match is tight. Quiet good. Good action, good stuff to work with. Hard-hitting and I expect both people to make reference to the close action here. Good win from TJ ... gee he really is something, right? Someone should totally scoop him up for a stable or something.
The segment from Callahan is interesting, though I’m not sure where it relates to the last weeks where Bailey and Callahan had something going on. What I love is his Dark Match belt shot. Had me laughing. The Reginald here seems to have a pair that other Reginalds don’t haha.
Strike and Knuckles, and lucky for the champion it’s a non-champion. Otherwise we’d have a dual champion! A big win there for Knuckles, should give him some much needed momentum/material for the next week and the CC. Close match. Long match, but the action had me entertained ... and then Masked Man attack. We later get details on it, and it’s interesting enough.
I guess I missed the memo for the all-girls meet-up, as AJP and KJE rip each other to shreds. Great exchange between the two, really sets a tone for each character moving forward and a potential match-up at CC. Heck, a long-burning feud between the two could be really good all the way to Mania! I’m just excited on this one.
AB forms his stable. Interesting that two stables get formed so quickly. Both are face, but both stand for two different ideas; The ignored youngers and the all-knowing veterans. Could be interesting, and food for thought. Long segment, and it would have been nice to actually hear from Krunk and JHop.
Big win for Saint, who I feel has been flying under the radar for a while now. Getting into that gauntlet match. He’s someone who could win it, so everyone else in the match must be starting to worry. Good length match, enough action to make it good for both characters.
Another Knuckles/Kash segment? Ok, yeah, I know I loaded up with 3, but I think there’s too much here on this one storyline. Essentially there’s four segments here involving one of the two, and I know that there’s another two Kash segments later (admittedly with AJP), and then another Knuckles one, which is pretty long. If Kash wasn’t in on the Knuckles’ planning of segments, then there needs to more communication to save time and space and words. If everyone was in the loop, it might be a better idea to weigh up options each week. Either way, just one or two too many. 3 for one storyline is plenty (I’ve realised).
Atken’s segment is probably the most night-relevant of anyone. Everyone else has written segments that build the long storylines, not the night’s matches. Atken did that, and brought my attention back to the match on the night and the CC title match. Well done, well worded and, in light of the win, good perception (though maybe a whisker too long?). Interested to see where it’s going.
Farq and Kash - great match. Well written and good action again. Big win for Kash too! Knuckles and Kash winning ... you couldn’t have planned it better for CC. So much material to work with for all three in their ppv promos. If I don’t see it come rp’ing time, I’ll be disappointed. That’s where the winner comes from: The person telling the best story. And there are some great stories to come out of the past month of shows.
Main event, great match. Whoever wrote it, I felt it was the match of the night (though I’m biased haha). Serious action, some great spots, and at the end of it a great finish moving forward. Sally taken out with a bat and Callahan doing it ... so many colliding parallel universes! Lots of momentum for Atken, and I can imagine the line of promos going into the ppv now. Good way to finish up the show.
Overall, a VERY segment-heavy show. While it ends up being a good show, I think that holds it back from being a great show. I’ll stick my hand up for 3 of them, then 5 for Knuckles/Kash, and then 2 more for Kash/AJP (and another AJP/KJE) ... it starts to build up. I think this show might give the impression that there might be some ‘domination’ by some megastars and I’d hate to have the rest of the roster thinking they can’t get in on it. You can, most definitely. I also expect this was one of those ‘one off’ shows where a lot of stuff needed to get done for storylines at, coincidently, the same time. Unfortunate, but whats done is done. Next week, it will be a great show.

For the record, I knew about being involved with Knuckles. We talked and planned a 3 piece segment. That I was gonna be apart of. The I did the one with KJE to further my reasons for Kash going back to Meltdown. AJP was cool enough to hit me up with her idea and what I'ma do say no? I'm usually not so segment heavy myself so the 2 I sent in are usually all that involves Kash but I think this show was strong. Getting Strike involved more will help the storyline on Asylum and the Meltdown stuff with KJE will go back to Meltdown. Great reviews though, Asylum stacked right now no question about it. Oh and Sally, I was in a segment with both KJE and AJP so add me up for another..haha
