As with all my feedbacks, reading a segment, commenting on it, reading a segment, commenting on it, etc as the show goes along.
- Duvall says Reginald and Rebel, except....rebel's not the GM of Overdrive. Anyways big news. I'm excited for Buck to come on over. I've heard some awesome things about him, as long as he doesn't come onto Asylum, I'm cool. Haha, excited for the Supershow and I love Duvall's condescendingness.
- Good match between Ice and Nightmare. Both looked good in the match and it flowed well. I thought Harris and West were just going to beat the size difference to death but thankfully didn't. Good match AJP
- Commercial* break
- Stellar segment from Chaos and I'm guessing Envi on that one? I don't know y'all know each other so well I dunno. Either way, just fantastic stuff. I loved LA's reluctance to accept that he's champion. He knows that he really can't change the events and has to live with it, but he's living with it his way. I love Sienna. She's a total bitch and she knows it. I wonder if I'll see LA near AJP's locker because something doesn't seem right, seeing how they were all "whatever happens, happens" and shit last show.
- Short, very short segment from Amy, but when you have so much history with another person, why talk about the same shit. I like you said that basically instead of not saying anything.
- Good match from Yarmouth, although this is why I normally don't take matches/wait until deadline to start writing the match. Scrap didn't show and Yarmouth wasted some of his time writing that. Could have just had McBride squash him. Still a good match by Yarmouth and good win by McBride, I'm liking the cowboy.
- I love Delikado, anything he writes is bound to make me laugh to the point of tears. This segment was no exception. Very Delikado heavy, but that's alright with me can't get enough. I would have liked a bit more Evan though. Set up the coming match great as well.
- Great match by McBride, a tad bit longer than most Meltdown matches, but good stuff nonetheless. Made William look good and, unfortunately, continues the story of Krunk coming SO FUCKING CLOSE. He's come very far from when he started and he's almost there. I do find the irony in his finisher being called Ambition as he's attempted and failed so many times and continues to try anyways in hopes that it'll hit and win it for him. Very poetic. Great win by William who hopefully will have something later in the show
- Who is Sienna talking to? THe world may never know...
- Wow. Congrats Double Dee and Roy Speede, another good match. I enjoyed the cruiserweight stuff in the middle. I wonder if there will be a follow up to the finish later in the show.
- If I was a woman or didn't have morals, I'd Rihanna that Sienna bitch. I like that AJP followed the, "focused no more talking" mode that Amy started. Another thing to look forward to in the match with the stip if AJP gets DQ'd, M&M is out
- Another match by Envi, short but good. Congrats to KJE on the win. Eventually, are we going ot stop this "she's a woman, she can't hang". I kinda feel like being beaten to death I mean, Sally is world champion. AJP was NA champion beating 7 other MEN to win it. Sorry just a pet peeve when you got women succesfully beating men in the ring that every other woman has to be ruled out. Just a thought as far as future commentary for everyone.
- Oh man. Johnny D vs Evan E? Seriously, I love this thought, sorry i haven't been reading Overdrive as much as I should, if you couldn't tell. If it's not the deadline week, something else is up, but if Johnny has been playing this "You're better than this and you need to start being better or I'm gonna beat you into being better." angle the whole time, I can only imagine the kind of things that have been said, I will go back and read overdrives to be caught up to this weeks. I hope this does lead to a Xmas Chaos match with EnviKado out of the tournament which leads to where is Delikado to be come Xmas Chaos?!?!
- Never noticed this in before, maybe because the shows i read he didnt have segments or I just didn't notice this, but WDW likes to color code names. Only problem, "The Smooth One" is like black or a dark brown" and is hard to read, especially in contrast to the white that precedes it. Also some coding errors because of this. I like the segment although I think "leads you to the ring where you search and search for your teeth after you end up getting Chocolate Wasted" would have been a better way to end the segment strong. Either way, good segment.
- Dunnno who wrote this match, but twas a good one. Hard hitting and a good match to send off these two. Good win for WelshDrag before heading to Overdrive and WDWJ doesnt look bad before heading to Asylum
- OH SHIT CAT FIGHT! YEA RIP HER SHIRT! YEA SMACK HER ASS! YEA. Ok enough Kash for this feedback
I'm happy this was followed up from Asylum. And the bit with Duvall and Sienna was on point. Oh man, what's gonna happen if Logan appears.
- Well, that was interesting. Great match by whoever wrote it and I liked the countout finish because both guys are talented writers. I hope that it gets answered by the end of the show
- Ah....is Mannie gone gone? He's just against everyone aint he? Personally, I'm not a big fan the words "main event scene" "mid-card" "opening slot" nor am I a big fan of bitching about being/not being in certain spots. as in this promo. In general, I'm not a big fan of insiders/smark terms in e-fedding and alot of the promo was filled with it. Wasn't a big fan of that part. If Duvall wasn't Duvall, I wouldn't like the bitching about ratings part either, but it works with Duvall. Overall it was a solid segment aside from the choice of terms.
- ENVI! ENVI! ENVI! ENVI! SOrry, I know Evan wasn't involved with the Main Event at all, but good lord, that was a helluva main event. I loved it. Back and forth back and forth. I loved the follow up to the order put on Logan and KJE in the locker room. Oh man. Just, fantastic match and the two participants put in great effort for it. Congrats to AJP who heads over to Asylum and i see big things for Amy. Hopefully she gets that chance at the NA title soon.
- Meltdown's Supershow just got a BIG FUCKING match. We got Tuhoa, Double Dee, LA, anddddd "wouldn't you like to know". Who is that? A new guy coming in? OH I guess i'll have to wait til next Meltdown to see who.
Overall thoughts
- Despite losing a good hunk of talent due to the draft, Meltdown doesn't look like there will be a drop off at all. Still a little shocked Krunk is still there, but I think it'll motivate him to get more involved in the show.
- Which brings me to my next point: GET INVOLVED PEOPLE! Ready here's who had segments: Amy, AJP, LA, KJE, WDWJ, Envikado, DoubleD/Speede
Thats it people. There are many more of you. Winning matches isn't the only thing that will get you to OD or Asylum. Sending in segments and being involve will get you looks. Meltdown is YOUR SHOW make it you're show. Send a short backstage segment talking about your match. Send a segment where you're talking to another roster member about their match.
- I'm just as excited for the supershow as I am for Xmas Chaos. I mean, they'll be a draft by then, which means you guys got maybe three or four shows left to make an impression and help make the supershow the one "people should pay for"
