APW.com has just released information pertaining to the recent controversy involving "Johnny Knuckles". His impending lawsuit against the man named, "Sage" who is claiming that his identity has been stolen by Knuckles, has rendered him completely broke due to his assets being frozen. Including, but not limited to, his bank accounts, his credit cards, his investments, as well as his contracts.
President Jeff, Reginald, and Mr. Duvall got together and managed to offer Knuckles a "temporary" contract so that his current bookings would not be interrupted. Although the original contracts were signed, "Johnathan Sorrentino" (the name and identity in question), the new contracts are brought up under, "Johnny Knuckles" to compensate for any future disputes.
President Jeff went on to say, "This has certainly brought a huge cloud over Action Packed Wrestling. In order to progress through this situation, we must keep Knuckles on and performing as scheduled. We do not tolerate nor do we accept these allegations. Knuckles will certainly be under strict supervision and until this lawsuit has been resolved, he has been given an allowance to provide him with transportation to our shows as well as personal needs."
Well for now, it seems as if Johnny Knuckles will be at Asylum as well as Christmas Chaos as planned. But how much longer will his contract last? What will happen if he is convicted? Stay tuned to APW.com for more information as it's released.
