With a win secured under her belt, returning APW roster member Niobe 'Nightmare' Martin looks to keep on winning and rising in the ranks to her eventual goal by coming to the location of the next Meltdown event in Hartford, CT and getting in the ring with the rather successful as of late John McBride and the not so successful Evan McDonald. What events will take place on this night? Will she succeed and continue to move on? Only time will tell as they say, but Niobe will continue to fight win or lose and take on anyone that comes her way.
The Nightmare does not sleep, it only continues on. Consuming, devouring, until there's nothing left...

The scene opens up slowly, like the fog being wiped away from a steamy mirror, to a large cream colored room. The camera pans left to right then focuses downwards to Niobe sitting at the wooden desk before her, legs curled up in the leather chair Indian style with a sucker stuck in her mouth as metal music blares out of the stereo speakers besides her. There's a figure sitting in the chair in front of her but with the angle of the camera you can't really tell if it's a man or a woman you are looking at. Niobe hums along with the music playing on the speakers, nodding her head in time with the beat as she writes something down on the paper in front of her, seeming to write the letters in time with the music. The figure in front of her doesn't seem to mind very much, waiting patiently for Niobe to pick her head up and say a few words. She finally does, as the song ends and another one begins.
"So you don't have any relatives living down where Sandy hit, do you?" It was a male voice.
Niobe shook her head slightly, taking the sucker out of her mouth to talk.
"Nah, thank god. I mean I feel bad for those that are down there anyway. You'd think people could catch a break now a days."
"None of your friends have people down there?"
"I think one or two might, not sure. I'll have to talk to them when I see them again. My hope is everything is alright." Niobe let out a sigh then, shaking her head as she went back to what she was writing.
His body leaned forward, glancing down briefly at what she was so furiously writing before leaning back into the chair.
"Awfully busy there, aren't you. What is it that you're writing anyway?"
"Called a schedule. If I don't write this down in this little book, I'm gonna forget what I have to do. In short, it helps okay?"
"Did I touch a nerve kid?"
"Not a kid, and you did kind of. I have my way of doing things, you know this."
A nod. "I know, I'm sorry, I tend to forget that your not a student of mine anymore. But I am proud of you and the way you handled yourself out there on your first night back in the APW. You did good kid, real good. Surprised the guy put up as much of a fight as he did against you. Guess it just shows how committed you are to this on this go around. Not gonna forget anything this time or slip up like before?"
A hand slapped down on the desk, jarring the paper and the other trinkets sitting there suddenly. "No I'm not going to forget anything this time around. Not like Evan who seems to have forgotten how to even wrestle in the middle of a ring. So pathetic, it makes me sick."
"I don't want you flailing around out there and forgetting what you've learned. You get cocky sometimes and you forget what you're doing. But enough about all of that, who's the unlucky soul who gets to face you in the next city?"
Niobe sighed and glanced up, narrowing her eyes at him.
"It's more like souls, two people. John McBride and Evan McDonald."
His eyebrow quirked slightly.
"Why does that first name sound like a character out of an old Western flick?"
Niobe laughed, shaking her head. "You know, that's what I thought when I heard his name. I had a good laugh about it for a while, then I forgot about it and went on. It's just a name."
"So then start talking about them, give them something to think about."
Niobe chuckled slightly, shaking her head before glancing at the camera out of the corner of her eye, cocking her head to one side.
"I walked away from this for personal reasons and due to the fact that I wasn't performing up to the standards that I should of been. You were right John, you were right. It was an excuse, and a lousy one at that. I admit it. But at least I was man enough to come out and say it. I think that's what I like about you, John. You say what's exactly on your mind. You're a man who tells it like it is, someone who's seen it all. But I wonder if your words are going to be good enough for you in that ring. If that old body of yours can hold up under the pressure. That will remain to be seen.
As for Evan, I don't know what the hell happened to you. You try and gawk and make passes at the female competitors here, you walk around like you think your the best that this company has to offer, you spout off all this stuff and when it came down to it, you failed to deliver, twice. Oh yes, I've seen you compete, and you've failed hardcore to deliver anything worthy of a championship calibur match. Best bet for you Evan is to quit while you're ahead and let the big boys and girls do what they do best.
Some of us have lives to attend to.
The Nightmare shall not visit either of you kindly tonight."
