The scene opens with Donald sitting in his next hotel suite, but the location of the suite is of a different city and state. Donald is seen just staring at the top of his hotel room ceiling, his eyes fixed upon the newly painted white paint on the Portland, Maine hotel. His hands a softly placed behind his head as he lays with a set of casual clothes on that consists of blue jeans and a black polo golf shirt. The shoes on his feet still in place heel to toe.
Donald Deruty: A disappointing finish to a disappointing match last week on Meltdown. The idea and epiphany of an individual of myself being defeated by a man of such structure as Tuhoa, is rarely seen with human eyes. No matter, what the odds seem, those actions that I spoke of did occur last week in Hartford, Connecticut. Although, that was merely just the simple past, an event that occurred just around seven days ago, and doesn't even matter in the long run of things. As well as events to come, and of course I am referring to the North American Championship match only two simple weeks away. In which I will be facing a numerous amount of competitors, and two of which, are my opponents this week at Meltdown.
It seems as if management wants to test out the trust and cohesiveness of the two individuals of Kaylyn James Evans and Tuhoa Falo, two interesting persona's to say the very least. Now such a name of Kaylyn James Evans, reminds me of the old times when I was just dipping my feet in the professional wrestling pool. If my memory does serve correct, we ran into each other, just the first appearance she had in our past places of occupation. To cut things to the chase, let me just state that it was a very welcoming greeting between the beautiful Kaylyn and myself. Of course, beauty in the ring does not serve to be a factor in the ring, although to the common dog, it may be a different case. I can't speak enough about Ms. Evans and her amazing not only in ring ability, but past and potentially future success within the four sided circle.
Time after time, week after week, I have seen her been underestimated as nothing more than just a mere pretty face, with a physique to match. Although the wrestler inside that physique, is not what it seems on the outside. I have seen her defend championships week in and week out, defeating men that just drool over her amazing beauty, and to be honest, can you blame them? Yet “The Silver Lining” and myself are far from just the typical dog around the parts of the wrestling community, and we both have a history with Ms. Evans, unfortunately some more close than others. Although, no matter the circumstances of the past, there is one thing that “The Silver Lining” and myself will have in our minds and that is simply, how are we going to win not only this weeks match, against my singles opponents just a mere couple of weeks, but how we are going to defeat War Ensemble, and M&M in the finals of the Tag Team Tourney at Christmas Chaos, the PPV that will officially retire the year of 2012 for Action Packed Wrestling.
But, that is the future, now I have spoke of the past, and now the future, now allow me to speak of the present, and that is “The Silver Lining” and myself leaving the ring this week with another “W” attached to our young resume here as a tag team. We have defined history, and have succeed at a level that not a single soul within Action Packed Wrestling could have projected us to obtain, yet we defeated all odds, and we defeated the team of Nick Watson and Amy Zing, then we possibly captured the biggest upset of all of Action Packed Wrestling when, just the mere newcomers of Roy Speede and Donald Deruty, defeated the veterans in Delikado and Evan Envi. The sky seems to be the limit to our success so far here in Action Packed Wrestling, and every week we come out and show that we are potential Russlemania main event material, and every week we seem to shock the world of Action Packed Wrestling. The names of Roy Speede and Donald Deruty are the names of individuals that have developed together as wrestlers in the same company and federation, at the end of this tourney, it will not be the last thing you hear of “The Silver Lining” and “D-Day”.
Donald gets up from his suit bed and walks towards the oak door, and flips the knob of the door with his wrist in a fluid motion. He makes his way down the hallway of the hotel, passing multiple rooms with gold plaques placed about five feet from the carpet. Donald continues to make his way through the hallways with his Nike sneakers under his feet, he reaches an elevator when, he turns his head and sees a door with the icon and symbol of stairs. He changes his directions from the elevator towards the stairs as he makes his way through the door and down the steps.
Donald Deruty: Tuhoa, what an individual and competitor in the four sided circle, you see I will simply give credit where credit is due. Tuhoa, you did defeat me last week in Connecticut, but it is another city and a new night, also it will not only be me and yourself within that ring when the bell rings. Multiple tag matches have taught me how to adapt to a lot of situations in that ring that you may or may not have faced in the ring before, and of course I am talking about chemistry with your partners.
You see, everyone that “The Silver Lining” and myself face week in and week out, are making me sound like a broken record, yet they seem to forget the importance of our teams success, and that is chemistry. Something that Tuhoa seems to be throwing in his fire and simply throwing it aside, it seems like such a bold strategy for such and individual that is so obsessed with getting the three count at the end of every match he is taken place in. Although that obsession will become your demise come the tenth of December. If I recall, you don't play well with others Tuhoa, and not only your vocal statements, but actions prove that statement true. This week the team of Tuhoa Falo, and Kaylyn Evans will struggle much like I did within my first week in Action Packed Wrestling, and unfortunately for my opponents, my fate that night will be theirs tomorrow night.
Although, I think that you do make something quite clear to not only me but to the entire Action Packed Wrestling Universe. That simple thing is that he beat me last week, which I give credit to him, him turning around the match in a single second was impressive, but why don't we take a moment to mentally rewind last weeks events that led up to that knee to the gut. Lets see I remember looking down upon your ragging form of a body, with both shoulders on the mat might I add, and me preparing to end the match completely, yet my risk turned to become by down fall. Now as you keep stating how you defeated me multiple times, is quite false. If history does prove me right, the first time we met in that ring, it indeed in a draw, so in the books you have only defeated me once in the ring, but unfortunately for your resume, it will be adding a “L” after tomorrow night. You say how you defeated me and how I am nothing but a pretty boy with pearl white teeth, well Mr. Falo, you are forgetting a big thing about this tag match, and it is my partner that is so vague within your mind.
I do recall that the match scheduled tomorrow is a tag match, not a handicapped match, I do believe that involves myself having a partner as well. Also, I recall “The Silver Lining” leading us to victory just mere weeks ago against the veteran, and favorite to the win the tourney, team of Delikado and Evan Envi, now that is a feat that not even a World Champion could ignore, let alone a masked man who has only been making an appearance for a couple of months. Tuhoa, last week was no fluke, I give you props on the victory, it was impressive, but you may want to refresh your memory a little bit, as I am not the only one that you will be facing this week at Meltdown.
Donald continues down the steps of the stair well until he reaches the clearly marked exit door back into the lobby of the Maine hotel. His sneakers squeak upon the tile flooring of the hotel until he reaches the front desk where he is met by a man with rather greasy hair, slicked back where his receding hair line is clearly seen.
Donald Deruty: Hello sir, is there mail for a Donald Deruty?
Clerk: Just a moment.
Searches through the mail that he received early this morning, his fingers splitting the envelopes one by one as Donald stands there patiently awaiting a response. Unfortunately the clerk returns to Donald's attention empty handed.
Clerk: I am sorry sir, but I don't see anything sent to a Mr. Deruty.
Donald Deruty: Well thank you for checking, maybe it will be here sooner or later.
Donald heads back towards the stairs, but he turns from the door and heads towards the elevator, pushing the ivory button until it lights up. As Donald enters the elevator he leans back against the railing, looking at the many floors of the hotel, until he crosses his arms, awaiting for his floor to be reached.
Donald Deruty: “The Silver Lining” and myself will walk towards that same Action Packed Wrestling ring, our entrances will be the same, the reactions from the crowd will resemble that of the last couple of weeks, even the outcome will be the same, yet the only difference will be that the opponents will not be the same victims that have fallen to “The Silver Lining” and myself.
Roy and myself have won twice in the Tag Team Tourney, and another win will grant us the vacant Action Packed Wrestling Tag Team Championships. We have defeated men of such accolades of Nick Watson, Delikado, and Evan Envi, Our track record is quite impressive considering of the time we have competited here in Action Packed Wrestling so far. Although those past weeks were to move on within the Tag Team Tourney, this week will be nothing but a warm up for Christmas Chaos, in which “The Silver Lining” and myself will be the only Meltdown roster members in the show, and we will bring the Tag Team Championships, back to Meltdown with us.
So many notable names so far have fallen victim to us, people should be lining to face us, just for the mere fact to say they faced us before we dominated not only Meltdown, but our respected drafted show. Kaylyn and Tuhoa, this week you should be glad you are the opening act for the soon to be newly crowned Tag Team Champions, it will look impressive on your resume. This week will simply not be any different than any other match we have tagged in, with our opponents shoulders down on the mat for the three count.
The scene ends when Donald straightens himself up and exits the elevator, headed for his suite.
