Why does woman like to stereotype men as meat heads? Maybe that the type of men that they have encounter. Well Alexis is going to learn first hand that I am not a Meathead, Second Alexis thinks she going to put me in a retirement home, what the hell is she smoking I am only 25 years old I do not belong in a retirement home. Alexis is under the impression that I am going to underestimate her talents. The time has come to prove to the world once again that the Mid West Assassin is finally back in the world of professional wrestling. The thing that gets me is that people like to assume that they know a person based on the way they act, well didn't your parents to teach you not to judge a book by it cover? Well at Meltdown I am going to prove to Alexis that I am not a Meathead, that her assumption of me is going to be wrong and she is going to make her self look like an ass.
Meltdown the second to the last show of the year for Action Packed Wrestling, the general manager of the show Terry Marvin decided to book me against a fresh face to Action Packed Wrestling. Now people wonder what my takes on facing a female in the ring? Well if I was against the idea of the match I would not say it out loud because this is a paycheck and a business our personal matters are thrown out the door when it comes to being a professional wrestler. There are promoters that have asked me in the past if I thought the idea fighting for the same titles as males is a good idea, right now it is a good idea because who knows how good a division for the woman would be. Now this week is a battle of the sexes match you could make it but I wouldn't care if a woman defeat me in the ring will it happen it this week? I don’t think so because I am going to come out on top on Meltdown.
Everyone is thinking the world is going end, well I guess if that was true then they will not be able to see Meltdown? Well that why I don’t believe the Mayans knew anything that related to the day the world ends. Now Meltdown is going to be a meltdown because we are going to bring the roof down in Buffalo New York, they have nothing to cheer for since they Buffalo Bills sucks and there is no Buffalo Sabers this season, the only thing they have going for them is buffalo wings just like my opponent thinks that I am not some one that could defeat her in the ring.
So I decided to walk around buffalo New York as I am heading to the arena where Meltdown is going to be to check out the arena as I get to the arena as I look at the building as I go inside the building as I go to sit-down in the upper deck seats as an APW cameraman started to roll the camera as I start to speak.
Matt Ward Here we are the upper decks of the arena in Buffalo New York, now you might be asking yourself why is he doing a promo from the upper deck of the arena? Well the answer is really easy because it gives people a different view from the top then from the bottom. Now Alexis you don’t know me, but you already called me a Meathead the one thing I get from that is you watch to many saved by the bell episodes and you are calling me your AC Slater to your Jessie Spano? or you watch to many all in the family shows and use Meathead as an insult? You calling me a legend that a compliment I will take but I don’t consider myself a legend in this business, but in Action Packed Wrestling the only thing I have accomplished was winning the Xtreme Championship. Now I am at the bottom of the barrel of the company the same as yourself Alexis, Now if you think you are higher on the ladder then myself then I need to drop you down a few pegs so you to realize that ego does not always get you things, it is hard work and determination.
I look down to the ground floor then I look up at the APW logo that is on the video screen as I start to speak.
Matt Ward Now I need to victory this week to give my self the confidence I need to my career around, Alexis this is the first time we are facing off in the ring you may know about me but I have not heard about you at all, but recently I have been watching tapes to scout you out and I must say you are a talent wrestler and a great pick up for the company. This week I am going to show a few things that you wouldn't think a guy like myself could do in the ring, You might think you have this match in the bag because of your beauty as a mind trick, well I know mind games as well sweetheart so I am not going to fall for it. If you say you can defeat me then I want you to prove by bringing your best in ring stuff because I know I will be bringing mine to the battle because I am coming to prove to you and the world that I still got it. Alexis you are going to be in the wrong place at the wrong time because your going to have your pretty face smashed in this week on meltdown.
I get up from the seat as I go down to the main floor of the arena as I am leaving the arena as I go back to the hotel to grab my work out gear as I have to go for a sparing session to help me get ready for my match against Alexis.
