(A large building can be seen. At least 20 stories high. The sign on the front reads “Industrial Smoothing”. At the bottom of the building Streets Wilson can be seen hiding on the side of the building in an alley. He looks towards the camera and begins to talk.)
Streets Wilson: I’ve been watching you ACE. You’re nothing but a whiney little bitch. That’s what I think of you. Your skills are meek and unfulfilling when compared to the legendary status of Streets Wilson. And your about to find out why. Here, we will be filming one of the many training sessions of Streets Wilson. I call this the “Executive Branch Training Session” I do this once every Monday and Friday, to keep myself in top shape. This is the very first time it will be filmed for an audience. So pay attention.
( Streets Wilson walks up to the entranceway doors of the building. He runs inside the building and immediately kicks a heavy set woman in the chest sending her flying to the ground as he runs onto the elevator right before the door closes. After about 2 minutes, the building is shown from a distance. Suddenly, a man smashes through the 16th floor window and fly’s towards the ground, as he is falling a shadowy figure can be seen standing in the broken window. The man slams into the ground and damn near explodes as broken bones and blood filled screams go flying in every direction. The man in the window laughs out loud as he steps back away from the window, disappearing into the shadows. Inside the building, it becomes obvious who the culprit is.)
Security Guard: YOU!!!! YOU KILLED THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH!!
(The camera zooms in on Streets Wilson as he calmly takes out his sunglasses and puts them on. He turns towards the camera and smiles as he lights up what looks to be a “hand rolled cigarette”)
Streets Wilson: Your damn Right I did
(He dramatically removes the sunglasses before winking charismatically at the camera.)
Security Guard: Am I missing something?
Streets Wilson: Are you missing THIS
(Streets grabs the security guard by the arm with both hands, but quickly uses the mans arm to pull himself closer, simultaneously grabbing hold of the mans collar bone and throat with an Eagle Claw lock. As the man’s shoulder quickly loses feeling and the horrific pain in his neck heightens, he drops down to one knee, at which point Wilson grabs him by the hair, yanking his head forward as he Knees him directly in the face.)
(Wilson immediately pulls out a pair of 2 inch thick reading glasses and places them on his face)
Streets Wilson: “Did I do that?”
(Carl Winslow from “Family Matters” walks in off the elevator)
Streets Wilson: …
(Wilson reaches inside his sleeve and then before Carl can even speak there is a throwing star sticking out of his neck.. He makes a “HMREEHH” sound and his eyes bug out of his head as he falls over and slams his face on a chair on the way down. Streets turns towards the camera.)
Streets Wilson: Think you can hire Carl Winslow to get rid of me Austin Daniels? You’ll have to do better than that. I am fully confident that you already know what is waiting for you. A nice cold beating that will put the ones your father must have given you to shame. Your fighting style is obsolete and ineffective when compared to the Shaolin styles I choose to utilize. You would do yourself a favor by not even showing up for the beating I am sure to be handing out to you. But you know this. You know it and you feel inside your soul. You can not defeat Streets Wilson. I am a legendary enigma, pulling strong emotion from people wherever I go. When I come out the crowd lights up, no doubt. I am very quickly becoming the main attraction around APW. Why? Is the fact that I am just too damn skilled for my own good? Is it my ability to cut a promo as the police are coming? Finishing just before they arrive and slipping out undetected before they realize what has even happened? No. It is because of the simple fact that I am amazing. I am simply amazing. Everyone and their mother just wants to know what Streets Wilson is up to. What’s he going to do this week? Who is the poor unfortunate son a bitch who has gotten himself booked in a match with him this week? What did you do Austin? You may want to check your attitude because it seems someone high up isn’t to fond of you if they have put you inside the ring with ME. For its common knowledge my opponents often leave the ring with broken bones, but they ALWAYS leave with broken souls. All their training, all their fame, all their preparation is torn up and thrown in their face when I am simply better than them in every way. It is a truly scarring experience to face me. I have left a trail of despair and broken dreams behind me. I am a legend in the broken down second rate arenas. A phenomenon in the glamorous world of high profile professional wrestling. I am multidimensional, multitalented. If you want a war, I can give you a war. I’m from the projects. A community of unlocked doors. Unlocked because you would have to be retarded to attempt to break into a house in MY neighborhood. Stabbings, robberies and muggings were common where I come from. . I have faced more disturbing odds, let me assure you of this. On the other hand, if you want a straight wrestling match, I do happen to be a master of multiple styles of martial arts. Each of which is designed for the simple and sole reason of destroying individuals and groups of people with ease and finesse. I have traveled all over the world gathering the most dangerous fighting techniques and utilizing them to their full potential. I have been to the mountains of China: Kung Fu. The islands of Japan: Judo. I could go on and on for a very long time, but it would only serve to take up time, and the police are about to arrive, and I wouldn’t want them to see the horrific violent crimes I have just committed. So I will now make my graceful exit. But rest assured, I will be back. Look to the darkness, for Streets Wilson may lurk there.
(Wilson immediately gets a large smile on his face as if he is about to do something special. He throws down a smoke bomb as he is pressing the elevator button, the smoke fills the area as the elevator doors close and Wilson disappears from sight. The last image seen is Streets frantically pressing the “close door” button as the smoke fills the elevator)
Scene 2
(The scene opens up to a building that says “Street Fighting taught by.. STREETS WILSON”. Inside the man himself can be seen. He is standing in the middle of a mat, with his shirt off. His chiseled abs and biceps glistening in the sun. He gets into a stance and waits. Suddenly 3 men walk up and begin to break iron bars all over his body. Wilson does not flinch as the shards of broken iron fly in every direction. The three men step back as three more men step up, this time they are unarmed. They all charge Wilson at once and begin to punch at him simultaneously. Wilson does not move as fist after fist slam into his face and abdomen. Finally the men stop and step back. They bow and go and sit on the side of the mat, alongside a slew of other young men. Wilson steps up and watches as the blood drips from his face. He claps his hands twice and a man in a suit brings him a towel and a large bucket of water. Wilson shoves his face in the water and then wipes himself off with the towel. He hands the now dark red towel over to his assistant, as he places his fedora and sunglasses on, and slips himself into his trademark Judo uniform. He turns to the camera)
Streets Wilson: Yes… iron body training. Used by the Shaolin for centuries. Scientifically proven to strengthen the body to mythic levels. As I have been doing Iron Body training for many years, I should be able to take a full baseball bat smash to the face and not even flinch, but I choose not to test this unless I have to. Welcome to my dojo! Located in the heart of Stamford Connecticut. Come back tomorrow for the next lesson! But before you go, let me just speak on something for a second. You see, most people see me as a one dimensional person, but I don’t really think like that. I’ll show you whichever side of my personality I choose to.
(He seems to be deep in thought for a minute)
Streets Wilson: … Right. My point is, I come from an environment where violence is the norm. Where prejudice is rampant. And I’m not talking about race either. I’m talking about your station in life, I’m talking about the projects. I spent my whole life trying to get out, selling drugs and the like. Until I found wrestling. But as soon as I make it, as soon as I acquire the means to escape, what do I do? I don’t leave, I just dig myself deeper and deeper inside. What does that tell you about me? Do I like it? I want to be here, so I can see how it’s going; I love the noise, the people. It’s a simpler life, but not to one who is unaccustomed. Where I come from, if you look at someone the wrong way, you both know the outcome of the situation will involve violence. You think you can’t escape this place, but really, you don’t even want to. The rest of the world just doesn’t understand me. Everywhere I go its “thug” this, and “criminal” that. But I was trying to make a living, doing the things I did; The things that got me a criminal record. It would be quite naïve to think I wanted to get in trouble with the law, it just happened to be in the way of what I needed to do. I’m a product of my environment. I hate the police. Why? . Because when I was younger the police would drive by my house and shine their spot light directly into my windows, they would shine their spotlight directly into my eyes, trying to catch me doing something wrong. Did they have nothing better to do than harass a teenager? This is not to say that there aren’t many officers who do in fact do their jobs correctly, but that’s just what I remember. I am fueled by the past, its what moves me into the future. I grew up fighting, that’s why I’m so good at it. Some say “Violence doesn’t solve anything”, yeah right, it doesn’t solve anything except conflict. Where I am going with this is, I don’t have the capabilities I do because of my “Martial Arts Training”. Although that of course helps immensely. No, you need to have the guts for it first. You need to have the potential. I have rage inside me that is untapped. It takes a certain type of man to be able to break someone’s bones, to hurt them that badly. But I can do it. I can do it because I assume we have an understanding. An understanding that we are men, and sometimes men need to settle things. But I don’t want to go to jail, and I don’t want these types of things on my conscience. So I became a wrestler, where all this is legal. Two people can get inside that ring and tear each other apart, and the winner is the better man that day. And people will PAY to see that. They want to see who is better as well, or they just want to see some blood. They will always encourage you to strike at somebody. To fight. There is always a crowd around a fight, cheering them on. What does that tell you about humanity? What does it tell you about our future? Ah, I’ve gotten way off track though. But I’m glad I said it anyway. I want to leave with a quote though. “The streets are to loud to ever hear freedom ring” In other words, how can we be free is we can’t even be free from ourselves, and our neighbors. Humans are scary little creatures. That’s why it does not bother me to impose my will on them. I would never harm… a cat for instance, or a dog. Why? Because they are in comparison, innocent. A dog will try to kill a cat because its just in his DNA or some such thing, its natural. A cat will hunt a squirrel because its hungry, or it just naturally feels like doing it. But humans…. Humans…. There’s something much more sinister involved with humans. Do any other species commit murder? I don’t think they do. Kill for personal gain? Not really. Are their feline serial killers? No. They kill to eat. They fight over territory and such, but do they torture? Do they play with a persons emotions? Can they hurt in the same way we can? Do they think in the same manner we do? Because since we are so “intelligent” we understand what we are doing when we are causing pain. And everyone knows right from wrong. So what is up then? Why do my dreams have to haunt me? Why do I think about things like heaven, and hell? Why can’t I just do the right things and be happy in the knowledge that I tried my best? It shouldn’t really be a struggle for the world to be peaceful. Yet there has been no point in the existence of humans, where war has not been being waged. On the battlefield, on the streets, at home. So why does Streets Wilson fight? Because I like to do it. I like physical competition. I like knowing that I “WON”. It feels good to win doesn’t it? I like physical competition. I will do whatever it takes to win. I know that the only way to better the world is to first better yourself. Whoever my opponent may be I will not disrespect them by not giving it my absolute all. I will punch to the throat. I will elbow to the jaw. I will kick individuals in the face. I will use everything I know to hurt that individual, to disable that individual, to make sure that I come out on top. Does that make me a bad person? Not in my mind, because they should be trying to do the exact same thing. It’s their own fault if they do not have the training and expertise I have. If they have not been hardened on the streets and forged in violence. Then they don’t belong in fighting competitions. Streets Wilson is here to carve out a legacy. A lasting legacy as the being the absolute BEST EVER. Whether I win, lose, or just smack someone with a bat before the match even starts, they will be talking about me for years and years to come. They will always remember… Streets Wilson
(He smiles)
Streets Wilson: So while you may be questioning what little worth you have Mr. Daniels, I know what it is I am here to do. And I have felt the sting of being defeated before, in regular matches and championship bouts. The difference is I don’t spend any time soul searching, I spend the time enemy searching. I KNOW I’ve still got it. I came here to APW for a single reason, and that’s to win matches. You would do well to do some research before opening your stupid little mouth, because you seem to be under the impression that you are more technically sound than myself, and this is of course.. untrue. When I was a little bit younger of a man, I found ways to come across enough money to travel to China. There I met with and trained for months with the Shaolin monks. Men who could literally stop bladed weapons with their skin alone. Men who could stand upside down on just one finger for extended periods of time. Men who helped me hone the art I learned back in my humble beginnings in Stamford. They taught me the more advanced techniques of Choy Lay Fut, and how to practice them. Things far beyond what I had learned in the US.
(Streets looks over to the left, then quickly back towards the camera; expressionless)
Streets Wilson: From what I have gathered it seems to me your fighting in an MMA style. Well, your MMA background does not impress in the slightest, and believe me, I mean the SLIGHTEST. Mixed Martial Arts is an incomplete system, being very limited. First of all, it’s a sport not a martial art in the very literal sense. Meaning in MMA fights there are rules. Such as no attacks to the eyes, back of the head etc. Meanwhile in the arts that I studied, these sorts of things are not only encouraged, but an integral part of what I do. You see, what you’re doing is just a hybrid of the art of Muay Tai and Brazilian Jujitsu. I am very familiar with these disciplines and while they are perfect for beginners, because they are so simple and easy to learn, and require very little training as compared to more advanced fighting arts, they pale in comparison to the complete fighting system of Choy Lay Fut. I am well versed in all forms of combat, striking, grappling, joint locks, throwing, and weapons. But you will come to find out you own flaws soon enough when you step into the ring with me. But again, this brings me to another point. A point I want to bring up about the drive to move forward in life and how you seem to lack it. Because..
(he removes his sunglasses)
Streets Wilson: Had it been about 30 years earlier, I would not have been able to learn such things. But thanks to an individual by the name of Bruce Lee, that all changed. You see, Bruce was an American, but in a time where he wasn’t considered one. He was born in America, but moved to Hong Kong as an infant. There, he got into a lot of trouble with gangs and violence at a young age. One night he beat one individual so badly, he was put into the hospital, unfortunately for Bruce, that man was the son of the chief of police. So Bruce needed to come to America in order to escape jail. When he came to America, he found out that the so called “Home of the free” was only so if your skin was white. So he made his own way, putting himself through college by giving martial arts lessons. But, when he became to successful, the Chinese underground came to him with a message. He was to stop teaching non-Chinese the secrets of Kung fu. Bruce didn’t understand why he couldn’t share the beauty of his culture, so he refused. The only way he could continue to teach who he wanted, was to fight a representative of the other side, in a hand to hand combat full contact match. Bruce won the fight easily, witnesses say the fight consisted of Bruce chasing the man around, and beating him in the face when he caught him. He could now teach whoever he wanted. But, due to an improper warm up, he injured his back severely; the doctors told him he would never walk again. Even still, after a long recovery process, he was back on his feet and according to most, stronger than ever. Through all of this he somehow had time to write a book. A book explaining the theories and science of a new form of fighting, or rather, a formless way of fighting, Jeet Kune Do. The way of the intercepting fist. Bruce believed that the old and outdated martial arts that were being used were to formal, and robotic. After all, in a real fight, no one would be waiting for you to wave your hands around trying to look pretty. So he invented a formless and incredibly adaptable way of fighting. But of course, most did not believe in his way, so he traveled around America, and PROVED his theories to any non believers. And Bruce Lee could be quoted as saying of all the traditional styles, Choy Lay Fut was the most street effective, so I listened to him, and you know the rest… Regardless though, there was a curse on the Lee family, on all the males. Bruce Lee fell into a mysterious coma and died at the age of 32. Over 25,000 people attended his funeral. He was an inspiration to millions of people around the world, an inspiration to better yourself, and keep moving forward, no matter if people told you it was impossible. He was an inspiration to… Streets Wilson.
(He lowers his head slightly in respect, then jerks it upwards again)
Streets Wilson: So why would I tell this story right now? Its quite simple really, Bruce had a vision for himself, and he did absolutely everything in his power, everything he had to do in order to realize his vision. So in the tradition of the Bruce Lee’s of the world, I will be carving out my legacy, as I have been for many years already, carving a legacy that will be remembered for decades to come. So unfortunately for you Mr. Daniels, YOUR legacy stops right here, when it runs straight into the fury of the streets.
(Wilson throws 2 thumbs up like the Fonz and the scene fades to black)
