Well, my first semester at college has started. I thought originally I could handle this, work and school. However, after only three days my brain is fried and I am very exhuasted. With great sorrow I must let you all know I am taking a unknown length LOA from APW. Thank you everyone for your support in my first e fed. I do plan to return as Tony when I can.
Sabur, I am especially sorry to you, as I have let you down right before your first title shot. Jeff, my bad for getting to you so late on this topic. Feel free to have Tony pop in any RP, just keep him in charecter. I will stay on the board and be in the OOC area, so I wont disappear. If I can I may write a articl for a mag or a segment.
Once more, thank you APW. Good luck and see you soon.

It too me two years to balance college and e-fedding; and even then I was only able to do it for another year and a half.
However, for the record, college sucks. Bust your ass, and your only reward is a shit job at a fucking diaper factory.

I disagree with that! I went to college and worked very hard and got the lowest paying job out there for jobs that requrie a degree. I'm a TEACHER! Okay yeah I work for no pay but I love hearing that I am kids favorite teacher and even some of the kids that called me the worce teacher ever want to be back in my room because they relized that they realy did have fun learning. Now my question is when will the govenment wake up and relize that they are not paying those who shape the future of our country enough money? I think I'm worth more pay than a doctor.

Heh Dita if you want to get paid for your teaching stuff come out here to Long Island New York. Sachem School District teachers get paid alot of money after a few years.

Not enough though. The other thing that people forget when looking at teacher pay is their pay vs cost of living and what the school district gives them in money for supplies. Did you know that the average teacher spends more than $1,000 in supplies for our own classrooms? Thanks for letting me know about teaching back east though, but I know people who came out here from New York...what is going on back there?

Teaching here in england is like they get paid loads of money and have more holidays then anything else. When I was at school I liked the teacher that weren't in it for just the money but in it to see children improving and helping them adapt there skills. That is why I wanted to be a teacher, but didn't get the right qualifications so they won't let me study it, so got to go for my second opition which is training to be a Web Graphic Designer.

Hun, DJ was talking about the cost of living there is higher than the teacher's salaries last year. How teachers we know moonlight to stay afloat here?

Yeah, other countries pay their teachers better. I chose teaching not for the money but to share knowledge. The sad part is many teacher have to chase the money so that they can live. England has it right pay the teachers well and then you will have them fighting over the jobs not for the money. And I had a smart ass comment to make and now I have lost it, go figure.
