[President Jeff]

The show starts off with a clip of the first APW show, New Years Retribution.

Gordon is at the top and is reaching for the title and no one is getting out.

Chase: We have a new champion here in a second.

From the back, out runs The Hardcore Kid and the fans are booing.

Harvey: Why is he here.

The Hardcore Kid slides into the ring and pushes the Ladder over. The ladder tips over and Gordon hits the ropes and goes over to the floor. The Hardcore Kid sets up the ladder and pulls Vinnie up to his feet and gets him to climb the ladder. As Vinnie is climbing, the Hardcore Kid is watching. Vinnie gets to the top and is reaching for the belt. Out of no where, John Green gets up and hits The Hardcore Kid from behind, sending him into the ladder. The ladder tips over and Vinne goes crashing onto the ropes and over onto the floor. Green grabs the Hardcore kid and tosses him over the top rope. Green sets the ladder up and starts climbing it. The fans are cheering with every inch closer Green gets. Green gets to the top of the ladder, his hands are on the title and he unhooks it and the bell rings.

The intro video for Overdrive plays and pyro shoots through out the arena and the cameras go to ringside with Johnny Chase and Darren Harvey.

Chase: Welcome to the very first Monday Night OVERDRIVE!

Harvey: What a night New Years Retribution was. If you missed it, shame on you. Tonight, we have a big night. The tournament to crown the first ever APW Xtreme champion starts tonight.

Chase: Four matches and Four will advance to fight next week. Lets not waste any time and lets get to our first tournament match.

The camera comes in on a long shot of the crowd as Scars by papa roach blares on the Pa Jason Royce comes out through the curtains to a mixed reaction and poses as pyro goes off and the lights flash like camera flashes are going off and he flexes then heads to the ring.

Tony Ferarri: Ladies and Gentleman... this match is scheduled for one fall and is a part of the APW Xtreme Title Tournament... Coming down to the ring... weight 222 lbs... from Chicago, Illinois... "The Iceman" Jason Royce!!!

Darren Harvey: Iceman will be looking to avenge his loss back at New Year's Retribution... Maybe he’ll pull out the win against Razor Ryan here tonight.

Johnny Chase: Royce has talked a rather good game lately... But he seems to be having trouble backing it up in the ring
Royce makes it to the ring and slides in. He poses and the crowd pops. Not because of Jason Royce but because of the opening bars of "Shout At The Devil" by Motley Crue.

Tony Ferarri: And his opponent... weighing 206 lbs... from Toronto, Ontario, Canada... Razor Ryan!!!

Razor struts down to the ring, looking back and forth between the fans that give him a rather mixed reaction as he approaches ringside.

Harvey: Here's another newcomer to APW looking to make his mark.

Chase: Razor Ryan is another guys who's looked really good in promos in recent weeks. Lets see if he's as good at wrestling as he is at running his mouth.

Ryan's music stops abruptly as he slides under the bottom rope and immediately rushes The Iceman, taking him down with a sudden spear. Razor Ryan gets to his feet and drops a knee across Royce's face, sending him rolling around on the mat. Razor approaches Jason Royce again but is stopped dead in his tracks by a blatant low blow that the ref misses as the crowd boos. Razor Ryan falls to his knees, clutching his groin as Jason bounces off the ropes and sends his opponent out of the ring over the middle rope with a low Dropkick to the face.

Chase: Nice move there by Jason

The Iceman hops to the outside and scales the top rope. Razor gets to his feet, still holding his groin as Royce launches himself off the top rope with a Corkscrew Moonsault but Razor moves out of the way at the last minute and lets Jason Royce crash to the mat with his legs hitting the steel guard rail as the crowd explodes.

Harvey: Great ring awareness by Razor Ryan.

Chase: Jason Royce took a high risk with that one and payed for it.

Ryan grabs Jason by the arm and whips him into the steel ring post before rolling him back into the ring. Razor Ryan follows him in and goes for the pin.

The Iceman gets his shoulder up at the last minute.

Harvey: That high risk move my Royce almost cost him the match right there.

Razor lifts Royce to his feet by the hair and whips him into the ropes again, going for a Clothesline but Jason Royce ducks it and bounces off the far side, coming back with a Flying Shoulder block that sends both men crashing to the canvas. Jason runs the ropes again as Razor Ryan gets to his feet, coming spiraling back with a Corkscrew Flying Bodypress but Ryan catches him and shakes the ring with a high impact Powerslam. Razor Ryan gets to his feet again and goes to lift Jason Royce again but is surprised with a jarring Jawbreaker. Royce goes for the pin!

Harvey: What is it going to take to put Razor Ryan away?

Royce seems to have it figured out. He pulls Ryan to his feet and picks him up for his Reverse Powerbomb but Razor outsmarts him and uses his momentum to roll him over for a Victory Roll to a loud ovation from the crowd.

Chase: Razor Ryan just countered Jason Royce's Ice Bomb!!!

Razor just smiles, almost like he can hear the commentators as he pulls the dazed Royce to his feet and bends him over with his head between his legs. He signals for his finisher but Royce stands up and backdrops Razor. Razor gets up only to be picked up on Jasons shoulders. Jason throws Razor and goes for the Go To Sleep, but Razor lands on his feet, kicks Jason in the gut and lifts The Iceman up over his shoulders, drilling him brutally with The Razor's Edge as he curls his leg for the pin.

The crowd explodes as the referee lifts Razor Ryan's arm and "Shout At The Devil" by Motley Crue echoes across the arena.

Harvey: Big debut win here for Razor Ryan

Chase: Royce almost had it won, he just fell a little short.

Harvey: Looks like Razor Ryan moves on in the Xtreme title tournament. What a way to kick off Overdrive.

Overdrive goes to commercial.

[President Jeff]

Overdrive comes back from Commercial with a clip of Razor Ryan beating Jason Royce. The scene then cuts to President Jeff’s office and he’s watching New Years Retribution on his TV. Suddenly there’s a knock at the door.

Jeff: Come in.

Just then you see John Green walk into the scene with the APW World Title over his shoulder.

John: Hey Boss.

Jeff: What’s up champ?

John: First I just want to thank you for the opportunity in APW and I won’t let you down.

Jeff: What else do you want.

John: Well. I want to know who my first challenger for this title will be?

Jeff: You’ll know by the end of the night Green.

John: Well I don’t care who it is, but tonight, I’m going out to that ring and I’m going to scare off who ever my first challenger might be. I don’t care who it is because for what I have planned for Carnage, there not going to want to be in the ring with me.

Jeff: Good for you John. That’s the intensity I want to see from you.

John: Just so you know, this title isn’t going anywhere any time soon.

Jeff: Are you done bugging me yet?

John: Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Green walks out of Jeff’s office.

Chase: What was all that about?

The scene then goes to backstage in a hallway where Jason Royce is walking, upset about his loss to Razor Ryan. Bumping into him is The Hardcore Kid.

THK: Hey there.. “Iceman” Nice try out there.

Royce: The hell do you want?

THK: I just wanted to let you know that after tonight, when I beat Gordon Shumway and then go on to win the Xtreme title, I’ll be nice enough to give you a title shot. I mean, its not like you’ll win it anyways.

Royce: You think your so funny huh? We’ll see who’s laughing when Gordon makes a fool out of you. You screwed him out of the World title. He’s going to want to rip you to pieces.

THK: Gordon doesn’t scare me. But yah, Keep your head up and keep reaching for the stars Jason. You might pick up a win next week.

The Hardcore Kid laughs as he walks past Royce and the camera goes to ringside.

Harvey: Kicking a man while he’s down.

Chase: To lose a match is one thing but no one wants to have it get rubbed in their face.

Harvey: I agree there. But its now time for our next Xtreme title tournament match.

Chase: I’ve been looking forward to his match Darren.

Harvey: Trevor Blackwell takes on the new comer, Sabur.

Chase: Trevor is coming off coming short of winning the World title last Sunday, so he’s hungry to win the Xtreme title

Harvey: But Sabur has a lot of prove tonight. This will make for a great match up.

We go inside the ring with Tony Ferarri.

Tony: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. The winner will advance to the next round in the Xtreme title tournament.

"Revolution Is My Name" by Pantera assaults the loudspeakers as the lights go down and blue and white strobe lights illuminate the stage. Everybody's Hero, The Hardcore Icon, "The Career Killer" Trevor Blackwell appears, his Singapore Cane clutched in his hand, his arms outstretched in the Trademark Blackwell Crucifix Pose as gouts of blue ghost flame erupt from the stage on either side of him, the crowd exploding to a deafening roar and the red and blue strobes spread out across the arena.

Tony: Making his way to the ring, Trevor Blackwell

The Hardcore Icon struts down the aisle, going back and forth from one side of the runway to the other, slapping hands and pounding fists with his rabidly loyal fans. He reaches the ring and slides under the bottom rope to scale each turnbuckle respectively, striking his Crucifix pose for every facet of the crowd before stepping into the middle of the ring and raising his Sinapore Cane over his head, one more gout of ghost flame erupting from each of the four posts

Tony: And his opponent

The lights dim, the music hits. Orange lights flash to the beat of the music, as a shower of red sparks stream down like a water fall. The music picks up, and two large explosions on both sides of the entrance ignite as Sabur strolls through the shower of sparks.

Tony: From Las Vegas. He is Sabur

The Irish Hammer walks the ramp, slides under the bottom rope, stands in the middle of the ring with one fist raised as red flames shoot up from around the apron of the ring.

Trevor Blackwell Vs Sabur

The bell rings and the two go face to face. They exchange a few words and Sabur puts his hand in Trevors face and pushes him. Trevor quickly comes back with a double leg take down and starts punching Sabur, but Sabur quickly gets to the ropes. Trevor backs off and as Sabur gets up, Trevor chops him and then sends him into the ropes and goes for a hip toss. Sabur blocks it and then goes for a clothesline. Trevor ducks the clothesline and rolls up Sabur.

Kick out by Sabur. Sabur gets up and Trevor takes him over with a headlock takedown.

Chase: I think Sabur better go to plan B here.

Harvey: Trevor is really taking it here to the big power house. Sabur gets up and pushes Trevor off into the ropes. Trevor comes back and goes down with a Shoulder block from Sabur. Sabur bounces off the ropes and Trevor goes to his stomach, but Sabur gives a quick leg drop to the back of Trevor’s Head. Sabur rolls Trevor over and covers him.

Sabur picks Trevor up and throws him into the ropes, catches him and drops him with a sidewalk slam. Just then Marcus Saxton walks out from the back and makes his way to ringside. He goes over to Johnny Chase and Darren Harvey and puts on a headset.

Chase: What are you doing here Marcus?

Marcus: I thought, if Trevor is going to be at ringside during my match tonight with Kristina Blackwell. I thought I’d be at ringside in his match.

Sabur looks over at Marcus and then lifts Trevor up and throws him into the corner. Sabur goes over and kicks Trevor in the gut and chops him. Sabur then grabs Trevors head and sets him up for a running bulldog out of the corner. Sabur runs and Trevor pushes him off and Sabur goes right into the opposite corner, chest first into the turn buckle. Sabur bounces out and stumbles backwards. Trevor runs off the ropes and takes Saburs head off with a clothesline.

Kick Out. Trevor gets up and notice Marcus sitting with the commentators. Trevor starts yelling at Marcus.

Chase: Looks like Trevor has a few words for you Marcus.

Marcus: Trevor should be focuses on his match right now.

Harvey: Sabur shouldn’t be one to be taken too lightly.

Trevor picks Sabur up and gives him a double arm suplex. Trevor yells something at Marcus and picks Sabur up and throws him into the ropes. Trevor goes for a clothesline but Sabur ducks. Sabur comes back with a cross body, but Treovr catches him and sends him flying with a Fall away slam. Trevor crawls over and covers Sabur.

Marcus: If Trevor would have hooked the leg, he may have won right there.

Harvey: If you didn’t get involved in the main event at New Years Retribution, Trevor may have won that matches.

Marcus: Looks like we have a comedian here.

Trevor picks Sabur up across his shoulders and signals for a Death Valley Driver, but Sabur wiggles out of it and lands on his feet behind Trevor, he grabs Trevor and gives him the Irish car Bomb (Full Nelson Suplex). Both guys lay still for a few seconds and they get to their feet. Sabur goes for a punch but Trevor blocks it and comes back with a few punches of his own. Trevor bounces off the ropes and gets caught with a big boot to the face. Sabur signals for the finish. He picks Trevor up and goes for the House of Pain. He throws Trevor over and Trevor counters with a DDT.

Harvey: Nice counter there by Trevor.

Marcus: I’ll be right back.

Chase: Where are you going?

Marcus goes to ringside and grabs Trevor’s Singapore Cane. Trevor is yelling at Marcus. Sabur gets up behind Trevor and rolls him up.

Trevor Barely kicks out. Sabur stomps on Trevor as Marcus gets on the ring apron with the cane. He tells Sabur to bring Trevor close. As Sabur brings Trevor close, Trevor pushes Sabur into Marcus. They hit heads and Marcus falls off the ring apron onto his feet. Sabur stumbles and Trevor picks him up and plants him with the Full Throttle. Trevor covers.

WHACK! Singapore Cane to the back of Trevor’s Head by Marcus Saxton and the ref calls for the bell.

Winner by DQ: Trevor Blackwell.

Sabur rolls out of the ring as Marcus continues to beat on Trevor. Marcus picks Trevor up and goes to hit him with the cane, but Kristina Blackwell runs down to the ring and Marcus slides out with the cane in his hand. Kristina checks on Trevor as Marcus walks up the entrance ramp with the cane taunting the blackwells.

Chase: I think Marcus just started a war with the Blackwell’s.

Harvey: And that’s something you don’t want to do.
Chase: I can’t wait for tonight’s main event now between Marcus and Kristina.

Overdrive goes to commercial.

[President Jeff]

Overdrive comes back on the air and a clip is down of what Marcus did to Trevor. The scene then cuts to Trevor and Kristina backstage.

Trevor: That little punk stole my Singapore Cane and beat me with it. The kid dies tonight!

Kristina: I have a match with him later tonight. Your coming down to the ring with me, we’ll deal with him there.

Trevor: Kristina, The match won’t even take place because I’m going to destroy him before the match even begins.

Kristina. I know your mad but listen. Don’t get my disqualified for anything. You advanced in the tournament, I’m going to beat Marcus tonight and I’ll advance. And our chances at the title will just get that much better.

Trevor: I can guarantee you that Marcus Saxton will NOT be walking out of Overdrive tonight!

The camera then cuts to ringside.

Chase: Strong words from Trevor.

Harvey: I think Marcus may have made a mistake getting on Trevor’s bad side.

Chase: Lets get to our next match.

"Iron Man" by Black Sabbath plays over the loudspeakers.

Tony Ferrari: Ladies and Gentleman... this match is for one fall and a part of the APW Xtreme Title Tournament... Making his way to the ring... weighing 240 lbs... from Las Vegas, Nevada... The Hardcore Kid!!!

The Kid walks down to the ring and slides in, bouncing off the ropes as he awaits his opponent.

Darren Harvey: Earlier tonight, this kid made fun of Royce for losing earlier in the night, lets see if that doesn’t come to bite the Hardcore Kid on the rear end.

Johnny Chase: The Hardcore Kid is determined, I think he may be able to pull off the win against Shumway tonight.
Just then, "Play With Me" by Extreme begins to play over the PA.

Tony Ferrari: And his opponent... weighing 197 lbs... from Flin Flon, Manitoba, Canada... The Loose Cannon... Gordon Shumway!!!
Shumway slowly makes his way down to the ring. As he walks he hits himself in the head and pulls on his hair trying to contain the beast within. As he steps into the ring he snaps. He rips off his checkered shirt and begins kicking the ropes and pacing like a caged animal as he awaits the opening bell.

Chase: I think Shumway needs to be committed to a mental institution... this man shouldn't be allowed in an APW ring...

Harvey: Hey, if its not broke, don't fix it. It was enough to almost win The Loose Cannon the APW World Heavyweight Championship last eek at New Year's Retribution. The Hardcore Kid is gonna have to be on his toes for this one.

The moment the bell rings, Gordon Shumway rushes The Hardcore Kid for a Clothesline but The Kid ducks. Instead of running past him into the ropes, Gordon puts on the breaks and turns on The Hardcore Kid, grabbing him violently by the hair and wrenching him back, wrapping his arm around his neck for The Loose Marbles but The Hardcore Kid squirms out and rolls out of the ring.

Harvey: Just like that, Shumway almost caught The Hardcore Kid napping and ended the match. Like I said, The Kid needs to stay on his toes.

Chase: Gordon can play all the mind games he wants but he better not get too cocky. Just because he's winless so far here in APW doesn't mean you can count out The Hardcore Kid.

The fans start booing and heckling The Hardcore Kid. He steps over to a fan and starts jaw jacking with him while The Loose Cannon runs the ropes. The Hardcore Kid turns around just in time for Shumway to fly over the top rope to the outside, catching The Kid around the neck with his legs and bringing him over with a Hurricanrana into the steel guard rail as the fans start to chant Gordon Shumway's name.

Chase: Did you See THAT?

Harvey: Amazing.

Chase: That’s why we’re called Action Packed Wrestling!

Feeding on the energy from the fans, he starts viciously stomping The Hardcore Kid in the face and grabs him by the hair, tossing him face first into the ring steps.

Harvey: The aggressiveness that we're seeing here from Gordon Shumway is unreal.

Chase: But listen to these fans. This is what they want. The Loose Cannon is quickly picking up a cult fan following here in APW.

The fans continue to chant for Shumway as he rolls The Hardcore Kid back into the ring. The Kid quickly rolls to his feet as Gordon runs across the ring apron and up the turnbuckle to launch off with a Corkscrew Moonsault. The Hardcore Kid takes to the air and the perfect moment and they collide as The Kid catches The Loose Cannon in the back of the head with a Dropkick. They both hit the mat in a heap but The Hardcore Kid is quickly covers Gordon.

The Kid pulls a dazed Shumway back to his feet and sets him up for a Snap Suplex but Gordon Shumway blocks it with his leg and rolls The Hardcore Kid up with a Small Package for the pin.

The Hardcore Kid uses his weight to his advantage and powers out of the hold.

Both get to their feet quickly but The Kid's boot connects with Shumway's jaw with a loud CLAP

Chase: What a Superkick! I told you not to underestimate The Hardcore Kid.

The Kid covers Gordo nand hooks the leg.

Chase: The Hardcore Kid almost advanced to the next round here.

The Kid helps The Loose Cannon to his feet and snares him up for a Swinging Neckbreaker but Gordon breaks out in mid spin and grabs The Hardcore Kid around the neck from behind, bringing him down with Shumway's Loose Marbles Reverse DDT. He goes for the pin.

Chase: Gordon moves on to the next round of the tournament.

Gordon celebrates in the ring. He climbs to the top rope and signals the title around his waist as Overdrive goes to commercial

We come back from commercial to see the ending of the pervious match with Gordon Shumway winning. The camera cuts backstage with the Hardcore Kid walking backstage a little upset that his chances at winning the Xtreme title is now gone. Jason Royce shows up. The two guys look at each other and Royce just starts laughing at The Hardcore Kid. Jason walks past the kid and leaves, only to have John Green step into the picture with his title over his shoulder and the fans cheer.

John: Tough break out there. I just wanted to tell you that losing doesn’t make you bad. I mean, I was in your shoes once, could get a win if my life depended on it, but now, look at me. I’m the APW World Heavyweight Champion. And that little stunt you pulled at New Years Retribution, if you ever pull something like that again and get involved in my business. I will make sure that you will never, ever win a match in your entire career.

Green smiles as he walks past the Hardcore Kid. The Hardcore kid gives him a dirty look as we go back to ringside.

Harvey: Green is making it well known that no one should mess with him.

Chase: I still would like to know about what he was talking about earlier tonight with President Jeff.

Harvey: me too, but first, its time for our final match of the night.

"Triumph" by Wu-Tang Clan begins to play as Marcus Saxton makes his way out with Amber by his side and Trevor’s Singapore cane from earlier tonight in his hand.

Tony: Making his way to the ring, from Brooklyn New York, Marcus “Styles” Saxton!

Marcus gets into the ring and waits with Amber at his side.

Tony: And his opponent.

"Closer" by Nine Inch Nails begins to play over the PA System and Kristina and Trevor Blackwell walk out and they start walking fast towards the ring.

Tony: From Long Island New York, Kristina Blackwell.

Trevor is first to get to the ring, he slides in and goes after Marcus but he and Amber slide out of the ring as Kristina gets into the ring. Marcus is telling the ref to back Trevor off. Trevor backs off and Marcus gets into the ring and Kristina is holding Trevor back and telling him to get out of the ring. Trevor gets out of the ring, Marcus hands Amber the Singapore Cane and the match begins.


Marcus Saxton Vs Kristina Blackwell.


The two lock up and Marcus gets in a side headlock. Kristina shoots him off the ropes and Trevor is there to grab Marcus foot. Marcus and the ref yells at Trevor and Kristina sneaks behind Marucs and gives him the Spine Splitter. Kirstina quickly covers him.

Kick out. Marcus gets up an Kristina chops him in the chest. Kristina throws Marcus into the ropes and goes for a spinning Heel kick but Marcus ducks it. Marcus starts stomping of Kristina before picking her up and hitting her with a back breaker. He taunts Trevor and Trevor jumps on the ring apron. The ref goes over and Marcus starts choking Kristina.

Chase: Marcus is using Trevor’s Anger against him.

Trevor jumps off the ring apron and Marcus picks Kristina up and slams her down. Marcus then climbs up to the top rope and jumps off with the InfraRed but at the last second, Kristina rolls out of the way.

Harvey: A high risk move that certainly did not pay off.

Both wrestlers get to their feet and Kristina takes Marcus down with a Whirlybird Headscissors. Marcus is quick to bounce by to his feet and then he goes down with an Enzurguri from Kristina. Kristina covers him.

Chase: What is he doing.

Harvey: He’ll get himself disqualified.

Marcus waits for Kristina to get up. She does and Marcus pulls the Cane back and Trevor is on the ring apron and grabs it from Marcus. Marcus turns around and is struggling with Trevor over the cane. The ref is there too and Kristina crawls behind Marcus and low blows him. Marcus stumbles backwards, Kristina grabs him and his him with the Crossface Halo. Kristina covers.

Harvey: Marcus got luck there. Kristina picks Marcus up and throws him into the corner. Kristina runs at him but pulls the referee in the way, Hitting the ref and the ref is down. Marcus grabs Kristina and hits her with the Brooklyn Dream. He covers Kristina but there’s no referee to count. Marcus gets up, tries to wake up the ref. He turns towards Kristina and Trevor Blackwell is there with the Singapore Cane and swings the Cane at Marcus knee. Marcus goes down holding his knee. Trevor picks Marcus up and drills him with the Full Throttle before exiting the ring. The ref is back up and Kristina is climbing to the top rope, she jumps off hitting her finisher, the Bombshell. Kristina covers.

Winner: Kristina Blackwell

After the match Trevor slides into the ring and starts stomping away on Marcus. He picks him up and gives him a Russian Leg Sweep with the Singapore Cane. Kristina grabs Amber and puts her in the ring, making her watch the brutal attack. Trevor takes Marcus and ties him into the ropes by his arms. Trevor picks up the Singapore cane and walks around the ring. He looks over at Amber before smashing the cane over the face of Marcus.

Harvey: Trevor has lost his mind.

Chase: I don’t think this is over yet.

Trevor pulls back and gets Marcus again between the eyes and then again and again and again and again and again. Pieces of the Cane are flying in the air as the cane is breaking a part. Marcus is bleeding a bit and Trevor slides out of the ring and takes the steel chair from Tony Ferrari. Trevor slides the chair into the ring and gets Marcus out of the ropes.

Harvey: What is he doing now?

Trevor drags Marcus close to the corner and puts Marcus knee in the chair where it fold. Trevor hops up on the middle rope. Amber still looking on and screaming. Trevor jumps off and stomps the chair, bringing impact on the knee of Marcus. Marcus rolls around in pain as security and EMT’s rush the ring.

Harvey: I can’t believe what I just saw.

Chase: Trevor did guarantee that Marcus won’t be walking out of Overdrive and it looks like he’s right.

Kristina pushes Amber down as Kristina and Trevor leave the ring as Overdrive goes to its last commercial.

Overdrive comes back from commercial with clips of what just happened between Trevor and Marcus.

Johnny Chase: Welcome back everyone to Action Packed Wrestling. What a show we had tonight. I still can’t believe that we just saw Trevor Blackwell take out the knee of Marcus Saxton with a chair. We hope to get an update on his condition soon

Darrne Harvey: Trevor Blackwell is crazy and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

Chase: Its scary if you think of it.

I Walk Alone by Saliva hits the P.A. system and the crowd gets on their feet as Green walks from behind the curtain. Green stands at the beginning of the ramp as he looks at the crowd with a smile on his face. And then poses with his title



Green starts to walk down the ramp slapping the hands of fans. John gets inside the ring and goes to a turn buckle and does his Signature pose. He then jumps off the turnbuckle and goes to another turnbuckle. The crowd gets on their feet again as he poses on the turnbuckle. He jumps off. Green has a big smile on his face as he walks up and around the ring and brings the microphone up to his mouth.



Green: A lot of people said it couldn't be done. There were thousands out there who said that I was too young... Too beaten and too broken to do it. But at New Years Retribution, I defeated four of the best that the APW had to offer and I climbed to the top of the APW mountain. Now that I hold this (taps the title belt) I have the biggest target of any of the APW Superstars. In fact, I am already feeling the pressure. I think the superstars in the locker room are the hungriest bunch of superstars the APW locker room has ever had. Which means I am in for one tough road. But you know what? I defied all of the odds at the Fatal Four Way Ladder match and I will do it again and again.

The fans cheer as Green smiles.

Green: I went through everything the APW had to offer and I also beat two of the Blackwells in one night. SO at the next APW PPV Carnage. For your moneys worth I am issuing an open challenge to everyone on the APW locker room. I will fight for this belt inside of a

Harvey: WHAT?

Th fans cheer once again for the new APW World Heavyweight Champ.

Green: And also....

Just then Green was interrupted when "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister hits the P.A. system and Green smiles as he turns to look at the Entrance way to see...



Vinnie HaRdCoRe: Hello, Champ...

Onto the stage steps one of the four men that John Green managed to get past at New Year's Retribution. Standing a mere couple inches under seven feet tall, decked out in black leather pants, tabi boots and a red t-shirt is Vinnie HaRdCoRe.

Vinnie: ...or should I say Chump? You see, at Carnage next month, you have the unenviable task of putting the APW World Championship on the line inside a twenty-foot tall cage against yours truly, Vinnie HaRdCoRe.

The crowd cheers at the thought of these two men locking horns with no one else to get involved in their match up. Vinnie starts walking towards the ring as he speaks.

Vinnie: Hell in the Cell means that you've got no escape, Greener. No where to run and nowhere to hide. Just you, me and a veritable ton of steel with which I can violate you to my heart's content.

Vinnie gets into the ring

Vinnie: Don't get too used to that piece of gold you're holding onto, son, because it'll soon be resting on my mantle because I'm Vinnie HaRdCoRe - that's my name, my game, and my cla...

John takes a swing at Vinnie, connecting him in the face. Vinnie drops the mic and comes back with punches of his own. Vinnie takes John down with a double leg take down and he starts throwing punches. Green rolls over and gets on top of Vinnie and starts throwing punches of his own. They roll out of the ring and Greeb grabs Vinnie and throws him into the guard rail. Green gets close to Vinnie to get kicked in the gut and Vinnie throws Green into the ring post.

Chase: All hell has broken loose here.

Vinnie rolls Green back into the ring and he follows. Vinnie waits for Green to get up. He does and then kicks Green and goes for a powerbomb, but somehow Green backdrops Vinnie to get out of the move. Vinnie gets up and Green kicks him and goes for the Head splitter but the Hardcore Kid is there to hit Green from behind.

Harvey: What is the Hardcore kid doing out here.

Chase: To help Vinnie out I’m assuming.

Harvey: I wonder if Green’s comments to the kid earlier tonight had anything to do with this.

The Hardcore kid starts attacking Green and Vinnie joins in. Vinnie tells The Hardcore Kid to pick Green up and hold him. The Kid does so. Vinnie Runs and goes for a big boot, but Green gets out of the way and the Hardcore Kid get Vinnies boot in his face.

Chase: Green was lucky to move out of the way there.

Green starts punching Vinnie to the ropes and then clothesline him over and the fans cheer. Green looks at the Hardcore Kid who’s just getting up from the big boot. Green kicks him and then plants him with the Head Splitter. The fans go nuts as Green’s music begins to play and Green grabs his belt, climbs the turn buckle and starts exchanging words with Vinnie.

Harvey: What a show tonight has been.

Chase: We saw The Blackwells, Razor Ryan and Gordon Shumway advance in the Xtreme title tournament.

Harvey: And we ended tonight knowing that the main event for Carnage will be John Green and Vinnie Hardcore inside a Hell in a Cell.

Chase: What a night this has been but we’re out of time.

Harvey: For Johnny Chase, I’m Darren Harvey. See you next week on Overdrive.

Green continues to yell at Vinnie as Overdrive goes off the air.
