[President Jeff]

The show opens up with a recap of last week’s Overdrive with Trevor Blackwell and Tabitha Crowley getting Arrested. The recap ends and the Overdrive intro video begins to play






The video ends and Pyro shoots out of the stage and the cameras pan though the crowd before stopping on the commentators Darren Harvey and Johnny Chase

Harvey: Welcome Everyone to the last Overdrive before New Years Retribution.

Chase: We are just 6 days away from the big match of that night, the Survive and Conquer match.

Harvey: We also know that a World Title match will take place at New Years Retribution, and with tonight the last Overdrive before the PPV, I’m sure we will find out just who will fight for the vacant title.



Just then, The commentators are interrupted with “Revolution Is My Name" by Pantera.

Chase: What’s this?

Harvey: Trevor Blackwell’s music? I thought he was arrested.

Just then Trevor Blackwell and Tabitha Crowley walk out from behind the curtain, with their hands in front handcuffed with a few policemen escorting them to the ring.

Chase: Its weird not seeing Trevor with a Singapore cane in his hand.

Trevor and Tabitha walk down to the ring, ignoring the heat from the fans. They walk up the ring steps and one of the cops sits on the middle ropes, helping the duo into the ring.

Harvey: I’ve never seen Trevor restrained like this. I don’t think anyone was able to do it.

Chase: Max Carter did. And he might end up paying for it.

Trevor gets a microphone and he and Tabitha stand in the middle of the ring between all the cops. Trevor lifts his mic up and begins to speak.

Trevor: This….IS BULL****!

Chase: I think the censor guy better get his finger ready on the buzzer.

Trevor: I F**Kin get screwed over by some ***hole who just he can just walk into the company that I build. The company I carried on my damn shoulder for a year, and have me F**kin arrested. Lucky for me, I have a good lawyer and an agreement was made for the time being that I can appear at APW events, Wrestle if I have to, then head back down to the slammer, but that doesn’t make this situation right. Now, Max F**kin Carter, We can do this the easy way, or the Trevor Blackwell way. I demand you give me back what belongs to me. Give me back the title I rightfully won at Christmas Chaos. Give me back the APW World Heavyweight Title….Or Else!

Trevor waits and then






Max Carter walks out from behind the curtain wearing a suite and has the APW World Title slung over his shoulder. The fans cheer as Max walks down to the ring with a smile on his face.

Harvey: I bet Max is happy right now seeing Trevor defenseless.

Max gets to the ring, walks up the steps and enters the ring through the ropes. He signals for a microphone and begins to talk.

Max: Or Else? Or Else what Trevor? Are you going to beat me with your Singapore Cane? Are you going to get your group to beat me up. Because I can guarantee you Trevor, if you, or anyone for that matter lays a finger on me. I’ll make sure, As long as I’m here, You won’t be wrestling for APW.

Trevor: F**K YOU MAX! Who the Hell do you think you are. You know it, the fans know it, Sabur knows it. I should be champion right now. Now Like I said, give me that title Or ELSE!

Max: Let me Remind you just who I am. I am Max Carter. I am The General Manager of Monday Night Overdrive. I decide who wrestlers who. When they wrestler, and for what title they wrestler for. The Last time I checked Trevor, you have Zero power. BUT, Even though I am the GM, and I run the show, I, still have a boss. And me and My boss, President Jeff had a nice long chat Over the weekend. And after a long discussion, we decided that, the only way to shut you up, is to do one thing, and that’s put you in the World Title match at New Years Retribution.

The crowd boo’s as a smile comes across Trevor’s and Tabitha’s faces.

Max: BUT, I get to pick your opponent. You see Trevor, here in APW, we don’t just hand anyone a title, let alone the world title.

Trevor: It doesn’t matter who you pick Max, because I’m going to murder him this Sunday.

Max: We’ll Trevor, I don’t think your gonna Murder this person. Time and Time again Trevor you manage to get yourself World Title shot. And time and time again you drop the ball. And this Sunday, when who I picked as your opponent, it will be no different. So without Further Ado. Trevor Blackwell, Meet your Opponent for New Years Retribution






























Michael Lively walks out from behind the curtains to the fans delight. Lively heads down to the ring and the camera shows Max laughing at an angry Trevor. Max backs away as Lively gets into the ring and goes face to face with Trevor. Lively takes the mic and goes to speak, but stops and listens to the fans cheering.

Chase: Michael Lively Vs Trevor Blackwell

Harvey: The White Lion Vs The Career Killer

Chase: APW’s Wrestlers of the Year going one on one for the Vacant APW World Title

Lively goes to speak again, and then hits Trevor in the face with the Mic and Trevor stumbles back before being taken down by Lively with a spear. Trevor, defensless cause of the cuffs, tries to cover up as Lively gets a few shots in before the Cops pull him off. The Cops restrain everyone in the ring. The fans are going nuts and Lively is laughing at Trevor who is now fuming.

Chase: Lively just gave Trevor a little taste of what its like to be attacked while defenseless.

Harvey: These two are going to tear each other apart this Sunday.

Chase: The World Title will do crazy things to people.

The cops take Trevor and Tabitha up the ramp while Lively is still mocking Trevor as we go to commercial.

We come back on the air with a recap clip of what we just saw with Trevor demanding the title, and Max putting him in a world title match against…..Michael Lively. The cameras then go back to the ring for our opening contest.

Chase: What an announcement to kick off Overdrive

Harvey: I can’t wait for Sunday. Trevor Vs Lively and the Survive and Conquer match. Its gonna be great

Chase: Lets go to Nicky Paige in the ring for the opening contest.


Paige: Introducing....THe APW Xtreme Champion...THE HARDCORE KIDDDDD!!

Black Sabath blares as the Xtreme champion enters the arena. He pause holding up his hard earned title. He then begins walking toward the ring. The kid hands over his title, and stands in the corner waiting for his opponent to come on down for the fight he plans to be one of their life.

Paige: Introducing....The APW Overdrive Champion....Katrina Olivetti...otherwise know as ARCADIA!!!

The Titan tron shows a "Now Loading..." screen with traveling ellipses from The Devil May Cry. At the same time the crowd hears a familiar voice blaring from the speakers. It's the serene voice of the woman who lets everyone in America know that, "She's sorry, but the number you are trying to reach has been disconnected," and you should "Please try your call later." She vocalizes the "Now Loading" that is on the Titantron. The woman cuts out after the third time and you hear, "It's time to play the game! Time to play the game!" followed by a strange laugh. The beat drops and the song immediately jumps to the chorus of "When Worlds Collide". As the crowd listens to the lyrics, "Are you ready to go/ Cause I'm ready to go/ What you gonna do baby baby" Arcadia walks into the ring in her black with silver luchadora costume and mask. She looks at the crowd, shrugs lightly and brushes some invisible speck of dirt off of her shoulder. She then backs up starring across the ring.

The Hardcore Kid Vs Katrina Olivetti


THK looks right back at her. He then darts across the ring toward his opponent leaping out drop kicking Katrina just above the knee cap. Her leg buckles as she topples over in pain. HE quickly snags her up by the ankle dragging her toward the APW logo in the center of the ring. He turns her over into a half crab leg lock. Arcadia screams in pain, clawing at the mat in an attempt to make it to the ropes. With each movement the Kid hops down on the small of her back. He then stands, drags her center once more, then locks in an STF. THK cranks back on her neck as the knee of Arcadia is buckled sideways. Desperation is written allover her face, as the fans begin to chant....

LETS GO ARCADIA

She mounts some sort of a comeback, raking at the eyes of THK. He lets loose of the STF and rolls sideways holding his eye. He stands, and is dropped by a front flipping clothesline by Olivetti. The Kid hits the mat back first. Not missing a beat Arcadia cork screw leg drops THK. She drags him up to his feet hooks his arm then inverts him into a violent brain buster. The Kid smacks head and neck first to the mat as his eyes close, followed by a leg twitch. Arcadia floats over hooking a leg for a cover. The ref slides in for the pin.

Kick out by Kid.

Katrina gets up, and climbs to the top rope waiting for her opponent to rise. Kid soon gets up looking for his opponent. He gets up to both feet, turns seeing the luchadora flying through the air. She attempts a flying missile drop kick, but THK ducks aside just in time. Arcadia tries to land on her feet but the damaged knee buckles, and she falls flat grabbing her leg. THK runs over lifts her up hoist him high on his shoulders, then nails a death valley driver. He hooks a leg and returns the favor of a pin.

Close...but no cigar.

Kid stands, grabbing her leg, and locks in a sharpshooter. He rolls her on her stomach, clutching her legs underneath under neath his arm pit. The ref asks Katrina if she's going to quit, but the masked woman has much more fight let in her. She reaches out grabbing a hold of the bottom rope. The ref calls for the hold to be released, and the Kid does so. Olivetti rolls out of the ring. THK looks on, the runs leaping over the top rope toward Arcadia. He crosses his arms, and Katrina steps out of the way. The Kid collides with the guard rail. She quickly rolls in stopping the refs count, the back out. Picks up the downed Kid and slides him into the ring. She jumps up to the apron, spring boards of the top with a shooting star press, hooks the leg.

Foot on the rope by THK.

She stands waits for Kid to rise. He does so, she hooks his head runs up the corner turnbuckles and plants the Kid head first on the mat with a flipping reverse DDT. She hooks the leg again trying to seal the deal this time.

Shoulder up by the Hardcore Kid.

He sits up catching nasty round house kick to the side of the head. He falls flat backward, and is drug out from the corner a bit. She then mounts the top rope walks outward balancing herself. She brushes dirt of her shoulder, The Kid quickly nips up, leaps into the air catching her.

Chase: HOLY CRAP!!!

Harvey: He just gave her a STRIAGHT TO HELL out of the ring.

The Kid and Olivetti both lay on the ground in a heap of shit. The ref stands on looking down on the two mangled bodies. He lifts his hand and begins to count.

Harvey: Arcadia will enters the Survive and Conquer match this Sunday at #3. We already know Level One enters at #1 and Twister enters at #2, and Link is the Last one to enter.

The Kid continues to celebrate as Arcadia looks on as we go to commercial

Level-One is standing by a monitor set; as APW interviewer Cindy stands beside him, with the Microphone loosely in her grips. She looks fairly upset, and doesn't appear to be too happy about interviewing Level-One. He notices this and taps her on the shoulder; before whispering to her. Inaudible to the cameras and audience at home

Level-One: Why are you so down on yourself? You've got your goddamn job back. Hurricane Jeff isn't going to be around for quite sometime now.

Cindy flashes Level-One a dirty look; before looking towards the camera and flashing a big happy grin

Cindy: I'm with the current true expert, Level-One. Level-One, everyone is just dying to know...did you take out Hurricane Jeff.

Level-One looks at Cindy perplexed. She looks at him with an angry look on her face. Level-One fighting back his anger, let's out a soft laugh

Level-One: Me? Take out, Hurricane Jeff? I had nothing to do with it. Infact, me and Hurricane Jeff we're good friends.

Cindy's eyebrows raise; as Level-One flashes her a stern look

Cindy: That's weird, Level. Because word has it, you didn't like what went on behind the scenes. The tape...

Level-One: There was nothing on that tape! It was Hurricane Jeff's Dr. Phil’s re-runs. That tape you gave me was worth, nothing. Cindy, can you get onto some real questions now?

Cindy turns away from Level-One and looks into the camera; as Level-One stands by watching

Cindy: Level-One here, felt as if he was being sabotaged by Hurricane Jeff. Giving him a title shot, when he already wrestled a match, having a referee official suspiciously counting pins in his own favor; isn't that right Level? You felt as if Hurricane Jeff was making you look cheap, why don't you tell us about that?

Cindy asks Level-One turning towards him. Level-One can no longer contain his anger, and he in return grabs Cindy by her shoulder

Level-One: I don't know who you think you are. You are nothing but a backstage interviewer. You’re not a private investigator, and you have no OPINION in regards to me, do you understand that? I will not take your bullshit, nor bias. I had NOTHING to do with the attack on Hurricane Jeff, despite what you may think.

Why would I take out, Hurricane Jeff anyways? So Max Carter can waltz in here, and give me a shitty 1st place placement in a huge main-event match, in attempts to use it to my disadvantage? Max Carter is a misfortune to us all, something I wouldn't purposely bring upon myself or the APW fans at home.

Level-One shoves Cindy by her shoulder; as she nearly is pushed off screen. Regaining her composure she tries to hide her frustration with Level-One in attempts to remain somewhat professional. Holding back on her emotions; she gives in

Cindy: Level...how do you feel about entering the Survive and conquer match at number 1?

Level-One looks at Cindy who appears to be intimidated and drawn back, as Level-One cracks a proud smile, before throwing his hands in-front of his chest to provide a bigger picture

Level-One: It doesn't matter how many people I must walk through, to achieve my goal. I don't care who I must defeat for my own survival. If Max Carter things he's doing me any discomfort placing me 1st in this match, then I pity is incompetence. There isn't anyone in this match that...

Level-One turns around; meeting Twister face to face. Twister the second man to enter the Survive and conquer match pats taps Level-One on his shoulder; with a wide smile upon his face

Twister: It's not always good to be...one. You'll see why.

Twister smiles; as he brushes past Level-One's shoulder and heads to the ring. Level-One looks towards Cindy flabbergasted by Twisters disrespect, and Cindy can't help but show her pleasure for Level-One's misfortunate as she fights back a giggle as we go back to ringside for the next match



The lights dim as Thoughtless by Evanescence plays as fireworks shoots up in a wall of fireworks. The fireworks die down as Kalayla stands on the stage giving the fans a sick smirk the spotlight reflecting off two ninja sais.

Paige: Making her way to the ring, Fyre Angel

She makes her way down the ramp stopping at the bottom of the ramp. Kalayla reaches up grabbing the middle rope pulling herself up and turning to face the stage kicking her long legs up over her head back flipping into the ring posing for the fans.

Paige: And her opponent

Paige: From Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, Twister!

Fyre Angel Vs Twister

Fyre Angle bursts with a couple of quick kicks to Twister's legs and Twister watches in mild amusement before shoving Fyre back into the corner. Fyre breaks out of the corner and rallies with a few quick punches before Twister shoves Fyre back into the corner and follows him into the corner, before whipping her across the ring into the opposite corner. Twister then runs across the ring and clotheslines her into the turnbuckles. Twister gives a little pose before shoving Fyre back into the corner again, driving his knee into Fyre's gut. Fyre doubles over and Twister stuffs her head between his legs and sets her up for a piledriver. Twister looks out over the crowd as they start to cheer, but Fyre works her legs into the ropes, blocking the piledriver, and counters by back body dropping Twister into the corner. Twister's legs get tangled into the ropes and now he's hanging upside down in the corner.

Chase: This doesn't bode well for Twister!

Harvey: That was a great counter.

Fyre spins and starts kicking Twister in the ribs and Twister is defenseless to stop her. The referee works his way between the two and Fyre backs off letting Twister works his way out of the ropes. The ref walks away and Fyre spears Twister to the ring, straddles Twister and starts pummeling Twister in the face. Fyre then quickly climbs to the middle rope and kicks her feet backwards, allowing her body to drop onto Twister's ribs. Fyre then rolls to the outside, dragging Twister out to the floor with her. Fyre goes to slam Twister's face into the steps, but blocks it with his boot, and then counters by driving Fyre' face into Twister's boot. Fyre bounces back and Twister crams Fyre' mouth full of fist. Fyre drops like a bag of hammers and Twister stands over her, looking at the mess he's created.

Chase: Things look to be getting ugly right about now!

Harvey: Twister has become a little more intense over the last couple of weeks

Twister rips the top section of stairs away from the ring and holds them above his head, threatening to drop them on Fyre when out of nowhere Fyre kicks Twister in the groin and Twister drops the steps on his head. Twister collapses on the ground and Fyre rolls out of the way. Fyre gets to his feet and rolls a limp Twister and follows under the ropes. Fyre runs and bounces off the ropes before baseball sliding into Twister's face. Fyre scrambles to her feet and baseball slides into Twister's face again.

Chase: Fyre with a cover!

Kick Out

Fyre pulls Twister up by his hair and snap suplexes him back down before climbing up the turnbuckle. Fyre looks out over the crowd and yells before flipping backwards through the air. The arena fills with camera flashes before Fyre is all the way over. Unfortunately Twister rolls out of the way onto the floor and Fyre meets the ring alone.

Chase: Swing and a miss, stee-rike!

Fyre gets up on her knees and looks at Twister who's trying to get up, watching Fyre inside the ring. Twister turns to use a barrier to get back to his feet and Fyre runs, flying through the air over the ropes and tackles Twister to the floor. They roll around punching at each other until Twister ends up on top. There's a moment of peace as Twister grabs Fyre by her neck and then Twister drives his forehead into the nose of Fyre. .Fyre is clearly seeing stars as Twister lifts the crumpled Fyre up and drags her into the ring. Twister gets Fyre to his feet before immediately DDTing almost through the ring. The crowd is on their feet as the action has turned deadly.

Harvey: That was almost murderous!

Twister picks Fyre up again and sets her up for a full nelson suplex. Both wrestler hit the mat and Twister rolls Fyre over for the pin.

The referee gets to two when Fyre somehow reaches the rope and the referee breaks the count. Twister is beside himself and stalks his prey. Fyre is up and Twister kicks her and sets her up for the Fury in the Wind, but Fyre fights out of it and lands behind Twister. Twister turns and Fyre kicks Twister and Fyre goes for the Solar Flare but Twister Lands behind Twister and Twister clubs her in the back of the head.Fyre stumbles to the corner and Twister goes over and kicks Fyre and then lifts her up and sets him on the top rope.

Chase: This can’t be good.

Twister climbs up and hooks Fyre for a super Plex, but Fyre starts punching Twister in the ribs and then pushes him off the top rope and Twister hits the mat. Fyre then stands up on the top rope and jumps off with the 450 splash and Twister rolls out of the way and Fyre hits the mat. Twister grabs Fyre who’s holding her stomach and hits the Wind Breaker and covers her

Chase: A much needed win for Twister heading into the Survive and Conquer match this Sunday.

Harvey: Fyre Came close to winning this, but I think her size different may have been a factor.

Overdrive comes back from commercial and Max Carter is in his office and Dr. Matt walks in.

Max: Don’t you knock?

Matt: Listen. I was thinking about this whole, If I don’t win the Survive and Conquer match, then I’m fired. And I’ll be honest with you. I don’t like it.

Max: I don’t blame you.

Matt: So you’ll drop the stipulation.

Max: Matt, you know me better than that.

Matt: So….That’s a yes?

Max: Matt, what do you got to be worried about. Your one of the best. Hell, out of everyone in this match, you have the best shot at winning. From my understanding, you already won a match like this before.

Matt: That was in UWF, a backyard fed filled with hobo’s off the streets who can’t wrestle. I could have won that match, blind folded with my arms tied behind my back. That doesn’t count.

Max: Well Matt, I guess you better make it count this time. Because Like I told you last week, if you don’t win this match, then your Fired!

Matt: Your making a big mistake Max.

Matt walks out of Max’s office and then the camera cuts into Pure Innovations Locker Room where Carl Cage and Jason Royce are getting ready for their tag title match later tonight. Jason pulls his knee pad up and looks at Carl

Jason: I need a new nick name.

Carl: What’s wrong with the Iceman?

Jason: I don’t know. It’s just not working for me anymore.

Carl: What exactly is an Iceman. I mean, its not like your made of Ice or anything.

Jason: I get your point. I was thinking, and what if I call myself, The Legacy?

Carl: Jason “The Legacy” Royce?

Jason: Yah.

Carl: Whatever works for you man. Sounds better than calling yourself an Iceman. Like, you never even threw Ice at anyone.

Jason: I get you point

Carl: You don’t even have an Ice Sculpture of yourself.

Jason: I get it. The name was dumb. Lets just get ready for tonight.

The camera then cuts back to ringside.

Harvey: So Jason Royce has a new nick name.

Chase: Maybe it will work out well for him.

Harvey: Up next, Link takes on BDC, who makes his APW in ring debut.

Chase: This should be an intense match up.


The camera cuts backstage where Cindy Shannon catches up with BDC mere moment s before he is about to go and face Link. She walks up to him, and is about to ask him for a quick interview. Before she gets the chance to speak, he puts his finger on her lips, shakes his head, and motions for her to leave. She does so sheepishly, and the camera man is about to follow, but BDC stops him.

BDC: Hold on there kid. I said that she could leave, but you ... you can stay. Now, the reason I sent little miss cheese tits there off a running is because I know exactly what she's going to ask me, so instead of wasting my time with useless pieces of pig crap, I'm just going to tell it as it is, right here, right now.

BDC and Link. Two of the three individuals that changed the face of this industry when they announced that they were allies in a cause far greater than any other known to man. Now some think that it's things like poverty, hunger, recession, disease and the like that are the greatest causes, but they can all screw off and die, because they don't know anything!

When we formed Retribution Incorporated, we made the WORLD stand up and pay attention. We did what so many other people wish that they could do. People like Pure Innovation, Legacy, Degeneration X ... all noble efforts, but all lacking in one thing, and that one thing is execution!

We were the real deal in RI. It was quite simple really. If you crossed us, we put you out of commission for a VERY long time, and then we destroyed your home life – just for fun. We did what we needed to do to stay at the very top, and best of all – we enjoyed every single second of it!

So what went wrong I hear you ask? I'll tell you what!

During that glorious time, I was the Undisputed EWC champion, and also the HCW champion. I was the franchise of the EWC, and I was untouchable – don't believe me? Check the record books. Check every single wrestling forum in the world. Each and every single one of them will tell you that I was the best in the world, bar none! Now, instead of being happy for me, and instead of simply sticking to being second best, Link decided that he wasn't happy with that situation. Link decided that he to should bask in the spotlight. Well you know what? Link is a selfish and ungrateful bastard. He was then, and he still is now!

Tonight I get to finally put that over rated piece of crap in his place, and show once again why I am the man, the myth, the legend! Link will be my first victim in APW, and he will be the first stepping stone to a long and glorious reign as the APW Champion!

Link, sorry kid, but this is how it is. Like I told you all them years ago, “one of these days you're going to shoot your mouth and pick a fight with the wrong person, and you are gonna end up in a wheelchair, with your jaw wired shut”. Tonight you find out that I was telling the truth. Kind of ironic that the guy that end doing it is me.

As for the rest of APW, well I'm putting you all on standby. When I'm done with Link, I'm coming after the APW title, and I don't care who is put in my way. I have a tenancy of always getting what I set my sights on ... just ask Max Carter. I'm sure he'll tell you guys ALL about me!

BDC's Music hits in the background as BDC heads towards the ring, and we go back to ringside where Nicky Paige is in the ring

Nicky Paige: Ladies and gentlemen, this next match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first. He stands at 6'11”, and weighs in at 310 lbs. Hailing from Wales, UK but residing in Ontario, Canada. He is the self proclaimed “Man, Myth and Legend” .... BDC!!!!

White neon lights flicker throughout the arena and "The Pretender" by the Foo Fighters; blasts from the arena's PA system. The crowd boo loudly as the man, the myth, the legend BDC walks from behind the curtain wearing long black leather trousers, black wrestling boots, a red "Kevin Nash" type top with the initials "BDC" along the front in a large bold, black font, and stands at the top of the ramp. The APW-Tron shows the Welsh National Flag, and red, white and green pyro shoot high into the air and he then heads toward the ring. He climbs over the top rope and proceeds to climb each turnbuckle one at a time, raising his right arm in the air. He then jumps up and down a little in the centre of the ring and starts pacing impatiently as awaits Link.

Harvey: Looks like the big man is out for blood tonight Chase!

Chase: When isn't he? I'm telling you Harvey, as much as it's awesome having such a huge name signed to APW, that guy scares the hell out of me!

Harvey: I know what you mean partner. BDC is quite possibly the most dangerous man in sports entertainment!

Chase: Yeah, well, if there's one person that could maybe slow him down and put him his place, it's Link!

Harvey: You could be right there! Link claims he knows BDC inside out, and that he knows what BDC's going to do before he even does it. I guess we'll see tonight won't we!

Nicky Paige: And his opponent. Standing at 6'2, and weighing in at 220lbs. He hails from San Jose, California ... LINK!!!!!

The sound of a woman’s scream is heard followed by the chorus of "Elite". Link comes out from the back standing at the top of the ramp. He looks around briefly before stretching his arms out to his side with his hands in a fist. This pose is what he has always called the sign of the Elite. He walks down the ramp and into the ring going to the front right turnbuckle (camera view) and again posing the sign of Elite. He goes to the opposite turnbuckle and just stands on the 2nd rope staring out into the crowd not giving any signs of Elite or any facial expression. He steps down and walks straight up to BDC.

LINK VS BDC


BDC towers over him and smiles through gritted teeth. Both men trash talk each other, and eventually the ref intervenes and asks them to return to their corners. He checks their boots, and informs them that he won't take any crap from either of them and that they are to follow his instructions to the letter. During the ref's talk, Link and BDC never take their eyes of each other. Hatred and rage emanates from both individuals, and there is a genuine spark of anticipation in the air.

Harvey: This is going to be brutal! Look at the way they are staring at each other.

Chase: I'm quite disturbed Harvey. I don't think I've ever sensed so much hostility in the air before in my life!

The ref signals for the bell, and Link and BDC start circling each other. Link looks as if he's going to make the first move, BDC counters before it even happens. BDC throws a punch, but Link ducks under. He bounces off the ropes, BDC hits the deck. Link jumps over BDC and hits the other rope. BDC gets to his feet quick and launches a stiff clothesline, but Link ducks under it and slides outside the ring. BDC is furious and storms after him, only for the ref to stop him.

Harvey: Looks like Link has the advantage as far as the psychological aspect of this match goes so far.

Chase: Early days yet Harvey, but yes, he does seem to be riling BDC up.

BDC backs up, and after a 8 count from the ref, Link cautiously climbs back into the ring. They circle each other once again, and this time Link bounces of the ropes and attempts to shoulder block BDC to the ground, but BDC sends him flying simply by being the much stronger opponent. Link hits the deck, but quickly gets to his feet. He tires the same maneuver again, and the same thing happens. BDC goads Link into trying it for a third time – which he does. BDC laughs, pounds his chest, and prepares to do the same again, but is shocked when Link this time launches a drop kick to BDC's shins, causing him to hit the deck himself. Link quickly gets BDC in a headlock, and digs his knee into BDC's back.

Harvey: Wow, Link suffered against the power game of BDC, but quickly adapted!

Chase: Well, I thought he was being a bit stupid trying to match power with BDC, but he seems to have the advantage now.

BDC stays in the hold for a minute or so, but he eventually slowly gets to his feet – with Link still maintaining the hold. BDC roars with anger, grabs Link and hits him with a Side Slam! Link releases the hold instantaneously, and BDC gets Link in a headlock of his own!

Harvey: How will Link get out of this one?

Chase: Well, he'd better figure that out quickly, otherwise this one will be over!

Link wriggles and squirms to get out of the hold, but BDC is too strong, so he resorts to poking BDC in the eye. BDC lets go, and both men get to their feet. They launch at each other, and start throwing lefts and rights.

Harvey: This match has turned into a brawl!

Back and forth they go, until the ref eventually tries to get in-between them for the use of closed fists. He warns them once, twice and is about to warn them again, but they suddenly stop and back away from each other.

Chase: Since when did these guys listen to referees?

Harvey: Maybe they finally understand that they need to listen to authority here in APW?

The ref continues his warning, and BDC and Link just stare at each other. The ref motions them to fight each other, but they simply stare at each other. This happens for a few minutes, but still nothing happens. The crowd start booing and get restless, and eventually Max Carter's music plays and he arrives at the top of the ramp.

Max Carter: Look, I haven't got time for this crap, and I've already taken up WAY to much airtime this week, so I'm going to make this simple. I don't know what you two are playing at, but unless someone starts wrestling by the time I count to 5, then I'm going to suspend the BOTH of you for 6 months without pay! So, what do you think of that?

Harvey: Wow! Now that's how you use power in the right way ladies and gentlemen!

Chase: He's doing what's right for the APW! He said that he wants actions of the roster to speak for themselves as opposed to their words, and he's certainly backing up his claims here!

Max Carter: 1 .....

2 ....

3 ....

4 ....

Before he reaches the 5 count, BDC and Link shrug and lock up.

Max Carter: Good! I'm glad that common sense won the day here. Now folks, enjoy the rest of the match!

As Max is about to leave, the crowd scream in shock as BDC and Link stop fighting, and instead start attacking the referee! BDC throws the ref at Link, who hits the “Missing Link”! Link in turn picks up the ref, and throws him at BDC, who hits “The Blackout”!

Max Carter: WHAT THE HELL HAVE YOU JUST DONE! THAT'S IT! YOU ARE BOTH SUSPEN ....

Max's microphone is suddenly cut off, and now BDC and Link have mics.

Link: Sorry? What's that you're saying Max? Can't quite hear you down here old chum ..

BDC: Must be his age Link.

Link: Yeah, that must be it.

BDC: You asked what we've just done Max, well kiddo, I guess we'd better tell you then. Thing is you see, I had no intention in beating down my very good friend here tonight. Even though him and me seemed to have a little lover's tiff last week, the truth to this little farce is that we are, in fact, VERY much on the same page, and that we BOTH agree that things need a little shake up around here .... you especially Maxy Pad!

Link: That's right Max ... we screwed you! But don't feel TOO bad about it, because we screwed EVERYBODY! Everyone knows that I have been held back for one reason or another ever since I joined this god forsaken place, and when I heard that the B Man was coming to APW ... well, it was just to good to be true. You see Max, I always talk about enlightening people, and I finally realized that instead of trying to enlighten everyone else, I should have instead concentrated on the most important person of all ... ME! I have been in a dark place for far too long, and who was there for me through it all? Where was APW when I needed them? Where were my so called locker room friends? When I needed them the most Max, they were NOWHERE to be found!

But you know what, it's ok ... it really is. I have now, at last, been enlightened, and all it took was a single home visit from a very old, but very good friend. BDC came to me when no one else would, and that is why we have decided to do what needs to be done.

BDC: Wow Link, that was beautiful!

Link: Why, thank you!

BDC: And also a little gay ...

Link: You'd be the expert there ...

BDC: How do you work that out? I mean ... HOLD ON ... we're getting a little sidetracked again mate .... maybe we should concentrate on the matter at hand.

Link: Right ... sorry ....

BDC: It's ok. Anyway, Max my boy, too make a long ass story short, me and Link have decided to send a big “F**K YOU” to APW, and if you ain't down with that ... I GOT TWO WORDS FOR YA!!!!!”

BDC and Link stare at each other and laugh for a few moments. Max looks on horrified, knowing what's coming next.

BDC and Link: RETRIBUTION INCORPORATED!!!!

Harvey: OH DEAR GOD NO!

Chase: NOT HERE ... NOT IN APW!!!!

Link: We're back, and we're bigger and better than ever!

BDC: That's right baby! THE single most dominant force in wrestling history has FINALY reformed, and, well I guess you all know what that means don't ya? Just like my buddy said, APW needs enlightening, and I have joined him in his quest to make sure that happens. Now me and Link may have different outlooks on life, and the way things should be done. Link hates people that are obsessed with material possessions and that are power hungry bastards, whereas I LOVE power, and the more I own the better. By rights, this little reunion should never work, but trust me when I say that it WILL work, because with me, Link knows EXACTLY where he stands. Even though he doesn't need, or even want them, I have resources that you low life bums could never even begin to contemplate, and through my resources we will be able to enlighten not only APW, but the WORLD! This is real folks, and this is happening, and there's no one that can stop us!

Link: And to prove BDC's point, just look at what has happened tonight – and this is just for starters! Normally, we would have been surrounded by security by now and escorted out of the arena, and possibly even arrested, but guess what .... that's not going to happen! We have managed to make sure that only our mics are working, and we have managed to pay off every single member of security in the arena.

BDC: Well ... pay them off may be a bit off Link mate ...

Link: Oh yeah ... I forgot about the threats towards their families and friends ...

BDC: Fun times ... good times ...

Link: Regardless of how we did it B, thing is – it happened! As a team, we are untouchable, and there's nothing you can do about it Max!

BDC: He's right you know Max. Normally when people tell their GM that they can't do anything, they're just blowing smoke up their asses and talking the talk. In this instance on the other hand, Link is telling the truth. You see Max, when APW heard that I was interested in joining the roster, they basically offered me whatever I wanted, no questions asked. Ok, ok – so I paid a few of the head office staff ...

Link ... and threatened their families ...

BDC: ... Thanks Link ... and threatened their families, but you get the idea. Along with the insane amount of cash I get every week here in this shit tip, I've also got me a few other stipulations added to my contract, one of them being total immunity to suspension, pay cuts, and anything of that nature. That's right Maxy ... I am basically untouchable!

Max shakes his head in disbelief. He's as white as a ghost and can't quite believe what the hell is happening.

Link: Ouch ... that's got to hurt Max! If that's upsetting him, wait till you tell him the next bit B ...

BDC: Oh yeah, how rude of me! Another little fancy stipulation I had added was that if I ever form a stable of any kind, the immunity I just mentioned gets passed on to each member of the stable that I deem fit enough to receive it. So, guess who's name I got added?

Link stands up straight, shrugs, and smiles.

BDC: So, to sum things up, RI is back, and you are screwed

Link: And this is only the beginning. From now on, things are going to change around here.

BDC: But hey, we've already said that, so from now on we'll allow our actions to speak for us.

Link's music hits first, and is then replaced with BDC's as both men celebrate in the ring. Max Carter drops his mic to the floor, and is still shaking his head in disbelief as Overdrive goes to commercial.

Chase: Welcome back folks. We’re just getting ready for our main event.

Harvey: But first. This Sunday, Survive and Conquer. Only 2 matches scheduled, but its gonna be 2 great matches. First, The Survive and Conquer match. The entire APW Roster will be in this match. The match begins as a Royal Rumble. The final 4 fight in a cage match. The final 3 fight in a street fight. And the Final two fight in a Hell in a Cell match, were above the cell hangs a Contract. Get that contract and guarantee yourself a World title Match at Rasslemania 5 in March.

Chase: That match is going to be off the hook. And Also, in a No Disqualifaction match, For the APW World Title, Michael Lively takes on Trevor Blackwell. Both men, voted APW 2008 Wrestler of the Year. This will make for a great match.

Harvey: And this just in.

Harvey: President Jeff will make an appearance at New Years Retribution.

Chase: This is Jeff’s first appearance since Christmas Chaos and from our understanding, he’s coming to New Years Retribution to find his attacker.

Harvey: This can’t be good for the APW Roster.

Chase: Lets go to the ring for our main event


Paige: The following contest is your main event and is for the APW Tag Team Championship

"Crush Em" by Megadeth surrounds the arena as the crowd erupts into a chorus of boos.

Paige: Introducing First, The challengers, The team of Jason “The Legacy” Royce and Carl Cage, they are, PURE INNOVATION!!

Out strolls Carl Cage and "The Iceman" Jason Royce they stop at the top of the ramp, Cage and Royce raise there arms and soak up all the boos as a smirk that exudes arrogance appears on there faces. Pyros explode in front of them, then they start to walk down to the ring ignoring most of the boos but bad mouthing the others booing in the crowd, once they are at the ring Cage walks up the steps and steps over the top rope into the ring as Royce slides under the bottom rope into the ring. They both start posing to the crowd who react with a loud chorus of boos, once they have finished posing they get ready for action as there music fades away.

Paige: And their opponents

Daytona five hundred by Ghost Face Killah blares as Streets Wilson and Rick Stevens walk out onto the ramp

Paige: First, he is one half of the APW Tag Team Champions, Streets Wilson. And his partner, Rick “The Dick” Stevens

The newly formed team jog down to the ring. They slide in and quickly start attacking Pure Innovation in the corner.

Rick takes Jason to a corner and Streets takes Carl to the opposite. They work on Pure Innovation and then go to throw them into each other, but the challengers reverses it and Rick and Streets crash into one another. Carl grabs Streets and tosses him over the top ropes. And Jason tosses Rick over the top rope.

Chase: A little preparation for the Survive and Conquer match?

Streets and Rick meet outside the ring to regroup. And out of no where, Carl picks Jason up in a body press and throws him over the top rope, landing on Streets and Rick taking them both down. Jason gets up, grabs Rick and rolls him into the ring for Carl while Jason goes to his corner. Carl drops an elbow on Rick and covers him

Jason pulls ring up and brings him to the corner and starts kicking. Jason throws Rick to the opposite corner and runs at him, but Rick moves and Jason hits the corner chest first. Jason turns and gets snap mare by Rick, who then flips over Jason while grabbing his head. Rick tags in Streets. Street’s comes in quick stomping on Jason. Jason pulls himself up in the corner and Streets continues to pummel him with the Fury of the Streets with the last blow, sending Jason to the mat. Streets pulls Jason up and gives him a hammerlock bodyslam in the middle of the ring. Streets then does a standing moonsault, and drops his knee’s in Jason’s face. Streets covers

Streets gets up lifts Jason up, throwing him into the corner where Rick is. Streets then runs at Carl, hitting him. Carl tries to get into the ring and ref stops him, allowing enough distraction Rick to start choking Jason in the corner as Streets is kicking him. Carl gets back on the apron and Streets tags in Rick.

Rick comes in and throws Jason off the ropes and gives him a backdrop. Jason gets up and Rick grabs him, DDTing him to the mat and hooks the leg

Kick Out. Rick picks Jason up and tosses him out of the ring through the ropes. Rick starts trash talking Cage and the ref gets between the two. Meanwhile, Streets is on the outside with Jason. Streets takes Jason and throws him into the ring barrier and then rolls him back into the ring.

Rick tags in Streets. Streets picks Jason up and sets him up for a suplex. Streets lifts Jason up and Jason flips over, landing on his feet and grabs Streets neck and drops him with a neck breaker. Both men crawl to their corners and both tag in their partners. Carl comes in and quickly takes Rick down with a series of clotheslines. Streets comes in and gets caught with a big boot to the face. Carl grabs Rick and throws him into the ropes and catches him with a 360 spinning side slam and covers him

Carl takes right and hangs him upside down in the Tree of Woe. Carl tags in Jason who then runs and baseball slides into Rick’s face. Rick falls back into the ring and Carl picks Rick up in a powerbomb position and Jason climbs to the top rope. Streets quickly comes in and hits the ropes, knocking Jason down crotch first and then takes spears Carl, who then goes with the weight of Rick on his chest. Rick sits on Carl Chest for the cover

Streets can’t believe it. Carl rolls out of the ring, to catch his breath and Streets goes outside the ring and grabs the tag titles from the time keepers table. With the ref checking on Royce, Streets slides one belt to ring who hides it and Streets slides into the ring with the other title. The ref see’s streets and stops him, taking the title away. Behind the ref’s back, Royce is up and Rick runs at Jason with the title and nails him in the face. Rick tosses the belt out and covers him. Streets leaves the ring and the ref see’s the cover

Winner and APW Tag Team Champions: Streets Wilson and Rick Stevens!

Chase: Sneaky illegal double teaming is what got them the win here tonight.

With Streets and Rick Celebrating in the ring, Carl Cage gets back into the ring and attacks both of them from behind. Jason gets involved as well as the bell keeps ringing and the ref tries to gain control of the situation

Harvey: I think Pure Innovation isn’t happy about the loss here tonight

Just then Twister runs out from the lock room and he starts brawling with Pure Innovation. Level One then comes out and he goes after Twister. Link comes out and he starts going after Level One, which brings out Dr. Matt who goes after Link. The Hardcore Kid follows and goes after Royce and suddenly, the entire APW Locker Room rushes the ring and an all out Brawl is taking place.

Harvey: This is a preview of what is to come this Sunday at Survive and Conquer.

Chase: Don’t miss this PPV. History will be made.

Harvey: We’re out of time, see you this Sunday at New Years Retribution!
