Fireworks shoot out of the stage as the music continues to play. The fans are on their feet, cheering loudly and raising their signs up high as the camera swoops about the arena. A graphic at the top of the screen that reads “APW Live Spokane, WA” is shown as the camera switches to Darren Harvey and Johnny Chase. Harvey: Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to APW Thursday Night Overdrive! We're coming to you live from the sold out Spokane Veteran's Memorial Arena in Spokane, Washington, and let me tell you something, Johnny, the fans here tonight and watching at home are in for a show tonight!Chase: I couldn't agree with you more, Harvey! Well, actually I could, considering I rarely agree with you, but this is one of the rare times that I actually do, as it was revealed last week that Pence Weatherlight and John Green got to pick the other's opponent here tonight! John Green selected Michael Lively as Pence's opponent, and Pence picked Bryan Payne as Green's adversary!Harvey: Those are two huge matchups, and we've got a lot more here tonight, as Crazy Joe makes his APW debut against Jimmy Jazz!Chase: And of course, Hellfire K.I.D. And the ever so lovely Alyssa Morenna face off against our glorious General Manager, Biggs, and his beautiful bride to be, Ellie!Harvey: Alyssa and Ellie haven't gotten along, to say the least, and this will be the first opportunity for the both of them to face each other in the ring. But speaking of big matches, we're going to get right to the action with Bryan Payne taking on John Green!Paige: The following match is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring from Atlanta Georgia John Green!!"King Nothing" by Metallica blasts through the P.A. system and the crowd hits their feet as they await for The Retribution Killer. As the heavy metal guitar solo comes to an end out comes John comes out wearing his normal wrestling attire with his "The Retribution Killer" shirt on. He smiles as he stands in front of the entrance ramp and does his trademarked "Retribution" pose and sparks and fireworks shoot into the air immediately. Wish I may, Wish I might, Have this I wish tonight, Are you satisfied? John walks down the ramp with a smile on his face as he slaps some of the hands of fans as he walks past them. Before entering the ring he stops in front of the squared circle looking into the ring and lets out a grin before sliding into the ring and standing in the middle of it. Green closes his eyes and takes a huge breath before running to the ropes and shaking the top one forcefully. He then lets out a monsterous roar and beats his chest. He walks to the turnbuckle and climbs them to the second rope and points to himself and then once again does his trademarked "Retribution" pose. Dig for gold, Dig for fame, You dig to make your name, Are you pacified?, All the wants you waste, All the things you've chased, And it all crashes down, And you break your crown, And you point your finger, But there's no one around John hops off and takes off his shirt and throws it into the crowd. Just want one thing, Just to play the king, But the castle crumbled, And you've left with just a name, Where's your crown? King nothing!!! His music fades out as he awaits for the bell to ring. Paige: And his opponent making his way to the ring. From Tokyo Japan Bryan Payne!!!Bryan appears from underneath the tron, a little smirk displayed from underneath his shades. He pauses looking out over the crowd while he says something that's lost in the noise from the people and the music and then starts to head down towards the ring. He pauses along the way to clasp a few hands of fans hanging out over the edge of the crowd barrier. Bryan grabs a hold of the bottom rope and leverages himself up onto the ring apron, turning around to face the ramp where his opponent will soon appear and points back towards it. He looks out over the crowd again and waves his arms into the air encouraging them to be louder still, and then grins as he ducks under the top rope and into the ring slapping his chest with a single fist several times as the bell sounds, DING! DING! DING! Harvey: And with that, our opening match is underway!John Green vs. Bryan Payne
Both Payne & Green meet in the middle of the ring as they stare one another down for a moment. The staring contest ends when Payne lands a hard chop to the chest of Green Following up with a right hand as Green drops to the mat. Green gets to his feet as Payne connects with a dropkick sending Green rolling out to the floor
Chase: This match has started quickly with Bryan Payne in control as John Green is on the floor.
Harvey: Green is doing the smart thing by being on the floor. He’s slowing down this match.
Green catches his breath on the floor but it’s short lived as we see Bryan Payne come flying over the top rope as he crashes onto John Green as we hear the crowd cheering from ringside as Payne staggers to his feet getting an even louder cheer ass he picks Green up and tosses him into the ring
Chase: Well it looks like Bryan Payne isn’t ready to give this up just yet. He’s putting the offense on Green.
Harvey: Indeed he is.
Payne climbs into the ring but Green is there with a counter as he catches Payne with a thumb to the eye followed with a quick knee to the gut as he throws Payne shoulder first into the corner. Payne lets out a scream as he crumples in front of the corner as Green walks over slowly pulling Payne out of the corner as Green focuses on the arm driving Payne to the mat with a single arm DDT as we see Payne clutching his arm as Green rolls him over and covers him
1 - - - 2 - - - Payne kicks out. Green goes back on the offensive as he grabs the arm and applies an arm bar on Payne keeping the pressure on that hurt arm of Payne’s. Payne struggles to get to his feet as he drills Green with his free hand to the face breaking the arm bar of Green. Payne turns around and walks right into a boot from Green knocking him to the mat
Chase: Bryan Payne looked like he was back on a roll. But John Green put a stop to that.
Harvey: He sure did. Green is back on the offense after that move.
Green picks up Payne pulling him to his feet as he secures him and drives him to the mat with a full nelson suplex that rocks Payne as Green goes for another cover
1 - - - - - 2 - - - - Payne gets a shoulder up as Green looks at the referee surprised as the referee tells Green it was only a two count. Green looks frustrated as he gets to his feet yelling for Payne to stand up Payne gets to his feet slowly as Green grabs hold of him and sets him up for The Head Splitter but Payne counters with a back drop of Green as he falls to one knee while Green grabs his back in pain. Green gets to his feet as Payne does the same Green throws a right but Payne blocks it and lands one of his own green throws another right and gets countered again by Payne who lands another right as he starts teeing off on green with rights and lefts knocking Green against the ropes as the crowd starts to get behind Bryan Payne
Chase: The crowd is clearly behind Bryan Payne as he’s putting it over on John Green.
Harvey: Your not kidding. It’s getting hard to hear in here.
Payne grabs Green and whips him off the ropes setting himself for a back drop but Green puts on the breaks holding onto the ropes as Payne looks up and charges towards Green who ducks down grabbing the top rope as Payne goes flying over and onto the apron as Green is unaware of this
Chase: John Green should turn around cause Bryan Payne is on the apron.
Green points to his head saying he outsmarted Bryan Payne as Payne is waiting on the apron for Green to turn around. Green turns around as Payne springs off the rope and catches Green with Payne of Death getting a big reaction from the crowd as he q1uickly covers Green
1 - - - - - 2 - - - - - 3!!!DING! DING! DING! Paige: Here is your winner of the match, Bryan Payne!Chase: And it looks like the first poison picked was lethal, as Bryan Payne gets a huge win over John Green!Harvey: This is Green's first loss since RassleMania! How will this effect his psyche heading into his match with Pence at Mayhem! The ref raises Payne's arm in victory as "Enemy" blares and the fans cheer. Green is still on the mat, coming to as Overdrive cuts backstage. Harvey: What a big lineup we have for you tonight here on Thursday Night Overdrive! The camera suddenly cuts away to outside the building, where Gordon Heath, Shaun Kilgore and George Dunpork seem to be in some sort of discussion.Harvey: Well it seems like the rest of the Greatness are discussing something.Chase: Aren't they barred from being at ringside during Craig Mueller's match tonight?Gordon Heath: Now guys, I know we're barred from ringside for Craig's match. But nowhere in the contract does it say that we're barred from being inside the building.Shaun Kilgore: That may be true, but I doubt they let us in because they think that we would actually interfere.Gordon Heath: Look, don't worry. I've got a plan. We'll buy tickets to the show.George Dunpork: Are you kidding?! The show's been sold out for weeks!Gordon Heath: That may be true, but you see that man over there? He's selling tickets to the show.Shaun Kilgore: Dude, buying tickets from a ticket scalper is always a dicey proposition.George Dunpork: Yeah, how do we know he's not selling fake tickets?Gordon Heath: Guys, he's probably been out here all night. If he was selling fake tickets, someone would've ratted him out by now. C'mon, let's get our tickets.Gordie, Shaun and George all walk toward the ticket scalper.Ticket scalper: TICKETS! TICKETS! GET YOUR TICKETS! ONLY $15!Gordon Heath: Yes, sir! I'll take three tickets!Ticket scalper: $45, sir.Gordie takes his wallet out of his pocket, fishes for the money, and hands the cash to the scalper. The scalper looks it over to make sure it's $45, smiles and hands the tickets to Gordie.Ticket scalper: Alright, thank you, sir!Gordon Heath: No, thank you!Gordie hands Shaun and George their tickets, and they go walk into the building.Harvey: Oh for crying out loud!Chase: Hey, they just want to watch Craig wrestle tonight. That's all.Upon entering the building, an usher scans their tickets and lets them in. They walk inside the building, looking down at their tickets to see where they're going.Gordon Heath: Alright... section 122... 122... Ah, there we are!Gordie, Shaun and George rush on over to where their section is. Upon entering the section, an usher asks to see their tickets as fans who are sitting close by heckle Gordie, Shaun and George, who roll their eyes at the fans.Gordie: This is 122, correct?Usher: Yes, but your tickets say 222.Gordon Heath: There's gotta be a mistake. This clearly says...Shaun Kilgore: Oh crap.Gordon Heath: Please tell me this usher is wrong, Shaun.Shaun Kilgore: I'll tell you he's wrong, but then I'd be lying.Gordie looks down at his ticket, then looks down at Shaun and George's tickets. He seems to be speechless.George Dunpork: Well 222 isn't that far off, is it?Usher: It's actually upstairs. And from looking at your tickets, it looks like you're on the very top row of 222.Gordie, Shaun and George look to each other, then lose their cool and storm off.Harvey: Ba-hahahahahahaha! The Greatness just bought tickets in the nosebleeds!Chase: That scalper should be arrested for ripping the Greatness off!

Shot opens backstage, where Cindy Shannon is standing by to interview Craig "Senior" Mueller. Cindy Shannon: Cindy Shannon, here with one half of the Sports Nutz, and a member of the Greatness, Craig "Senior" Mueller. Craig, tonight, you go one on one with Diamante Valentine, with members of both your faction and the Red Shield Mafia barred from ringside. You had requested this air time to answer some of the charges that Diamante brought against you and your stablemates. Feel free to clear the air.Craig Mueller: Thank you, Cindy. First off, after many grammatical and pronunciation errors, Diamante Valentine had the gall to call all of us liars. We'll start with the charges he levied against our prodigy, "The Showstopper" Shaun Kilgore. Diamante claims to know people up in Connecticut, and claims that the only reason Kilgore was called upon to be on a show of theirs in Dallas was because they couldn't find any local talent. Mr. Valentine, then please explain to me why I saw many local talent at that show? Now as far as Valentine claiming that Gordon Heath hadn't become a manager until a few months ago... BA-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! I didn't think there was anybody dumber than JR Kingston. I mean, seriously, how much dumber can you get than putting your champagne in the freezer? But alas, we found someone dumber than JR Kingston, because that someone is one Diamante Valentine. You, sir, win the Idiot of the Year Award for 2010. All you have to do is watch all the video tapes of Gordon Heath at ringside for matches involving George Dunpork and I in past wrestling companies dating back to 2004. Hell, even all the way back to 1994! Not to mention that Gordon has been running his own wrestling promotion for two years now, which last I checked, is more than a few months. Now Cindy, I hate to cut this short, but I have to go shut that dummo up once and for all.The camera cuts out to the arena, where Atreyu's "X's and O's" hits the speakers and Diamante Valentine enters the arena to loud boos from the crowd. He has on his fancy shades, as well as an arrogant expression as he heads down the ramp, stopping to woo a lovely woman about halfway down the ramp. She faints as he kisses her hand before continuing on his way towards the ring. Paige: Making his way to the ring first, weighing in at 235 pounds, from Venice, Italy, he is a member of the Red Shield Mafia, Diamante Valentine!Valentine enters the ring and removes his shades, slicking his hair back while he awaits his opponent. "Ecstasy of Gold," by Ennio Morricone hits over the loudspeakers, and the fans rise to their feet, booing one half of the Sports Nutz out of the building. Craig "Senior" Mueller is looking ever so ridiculous in his entrance attire, wearing a hockey helmet with a visor and a black San Antonio Spurs basketball warm-up suit, with the Ghostbusters style circle slash through the Spurs logo. Paige: And his opponent, weighing in tonight at 224 pounds, from Dallas, Texas, he is one half of the Sports Nutz, Craig "Senior" Meuller!Craig is carrying open bags of peanuts with him. As he walks down to the ring, he continuously takes the peanuts out of the bag, hurling them at the fans at ringside. As he reaches the ring, he drops the peanuts, and the ref calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Craig “Senior” Mueller vs. Diamante Valentine
The fans are booing both men as they tie up in the middle of the ring, and Mueller goes for a quick Eye Gouge! The ref admonishes him as Valentine takes a few steps back, rubbing his eyes. Before Valentine can recover, Mueller steps in and grabs him up for a Trap Suplex! “Senior” then gives the downed Valentine a couple of hard stomps, and motions for him to get up before running towards the ropes. As Valentine makes his way to his feet, Mueller jumps up and goes for the Throwback, but Valentine shoves him off before he can get a good grip with the move! Mueller hits his back on the canvas, and Nero is on him immediately, mounting him and giving him a flurry of hammer fists, alternating between his left and right hand repeatedly, mercilessly beating the snot out of his opponent! Valentine gets up to his feet, and strikes an arrogant pose as the fans boo him loudly.
Harvey: The fans don't like either one of these guys one bit, let alone their respective factions.
Chase: We've seen a real rivalry form between these two factions in recent weeks, and it will all come to a head at Mayhem!
Harvey: At least we know that they'll have to wait until Mayhem, because the rest of The Red Shield Mafia and the Greatness are both banned from ringside this evening!
Chase: Also, the Greatness are all in the nosebleeds! Haha!
Valentine has an arrogant look across his face as he pulls Mueller up by the head, giving him a European Uppercut on the way up to stagger him back towards the ropes. Valentine whips him off the ropes towards the opposite side of the ring, and catches Mueller on the way back with a Big Boot! He pulls him right back up and locks him in a Three-Quarters Side Headlock before dropping down to one knee to apply more pressure to the move! Mueller grits his teeth in pain as Valentine has a slightly crazed look in his eyes. After a bit, he whips Mueller over his shoulders with a Snapmare, followed up immediately by driving his knee into the back of “Senior” Mueller, and locking in a Reverse Chin Lock! Valentine pulls back hard for a bit before moving his knee and slamming the back of Mueller's head into the mat before going for a pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Craig gets the shoulder up!
Chase: Valentine is utilizing a methodical, targeted strategy, focusing on Mueller's head! He's really dictated the pace of this match up thus far!
Harvey: We haven't seen this side of Valentine yet, and I got to say, it's impressive!
Valentine shows no signs of frustration, more like annoyance at the fact that Mueller kicked out, but he stays on target, grabbing his opponent by the head and pulling him back to a vertical base. Nero then gets behind Mueller and attempts a German Suplex, but Mueller blocks the attempt by wrapping his leg around Valentine's and counters with a few hard elbows to the side of the head, forcing Valentine to let go! Meuller than snaps around, grabbing Valentine in for an Exploder Suplex, dropping him right on his head! Mueller rushes to the top rope, and leaps off, nailing with a Flying Leg Drop across the throat of his adversary! Mueller goes for a quick cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Valentine gets a shoulder up!
Harvey: Valentine just barely kicked out of that! We're seeing two contrasting styles here tonight, as Mueller appears to be going for explosive, home run type manuevers, while Valentine has been systematically wearing Mueller down! Which style will prevail in the end?
Chase: If Mueller can keep hitting moves like that, it'll be Mueller!
Craig pulls Diamante back up to his feet, and whips him towards the ropes, catching him on the rebound with a Powerslam Pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Again, Valentine gets his shoulder up! Mueller agerly slaps the mat in frustration before getting back up and pulling Valentine up as well. This time, however, Valentine gives him a hard shove, and gives him a kick in the gut, hunching him over! He then pulls Mueller in and delivers a powerful Sitout Powerbomb! He goes for a pin, 1 . . . Mueller kicks out! Valentine gives him a few more punches to the side of the head, and goes for the pin again, 1 . . . 2 . . . Mueller kicks out once more!
Chase: The advantage has shifted to Valentine, but will be able to keep control?
Harvey: I don't think that's likely, as this has been a back and forth match thus far!
Valentine gets up to his feet, and takes a few steps back from Mueller, motioning for him to get up. Once Mueller is up, Valentine runs in and pulls off a Float Over DDT! As Mueller tries to recover, Valentine backs up once more, signalling for the Disorentation. As he comes running in, Craig gets out of the way just in time, pops up and whips Valentine chest first into the turnbuckle! As he stumbles out of the corner, Mueller grabs him by the head and drags him up to the top rope with him, giving him a few elbows to the side of the head before hooking him position for a Piledriver, leaping off and nailing the Slam Dunk! Mueller goes for the pin, 1 . . . 2 . . . Valentine kicks out! The crowd can't believe it, and neither can Mueller!
Harvey: Oh my goodness! Valentine kicked out of the Slam Dunk! That's Mueller's finisher!
Chase: What can Craig Mueller do to put Valentine away now?!
Mueller has a stunned look on his face, and holds up three fingers to the ref, pleading that it was a three count. The ref shakes his head, and while they're arguing, Valentine comes to, and rolls him up from behind with a Schoolboy, 1 . . . 2 . . . Mueller rolls out! Both men pop up to their feet, and Mueller takes Valentine down with a Clothesline! He pulls him up and whips him back into the corner! He then lifts Valentine onto the top turnbuckle, and goes back again to get in position for the another Slam Dunk! Before he can perform the move, though, Valentine counters with a Backbody Drop off the top! He then follows up by turning around and jumping off, hitting with a Swanton Bomb! Valentine then lays back into a nonchalant cover, 1 . . . 2 . . . Mueller hooks his arm and leg around Valentine's arms, pulling him over into a pinning position, 1 . . . 2 . . . 3! DING! DING! DING! Winner: Craig “Senior” Mueller Paige: Here is your winner, by pinfall, Craig “Senior” Mueller!Harvey: That was a back and forth contest, but in the end, Valentine's pride got the best of him!Chase: It's a shame, too, because Valentine kicked out of the Slam Dunk!Valentine is pissed off, arguing with the ref as Mueller jumps around excitedly, celebrating his win. The camera cuts to the rest of the Greatness reacting to their comrade's victory! However, it cuts back to the ring, where the rest of the Red Shield Mafia has jumped the barricade and attack Mueller from behind! They're slamming him hard with fists, overwhelming him as the Greatness jump out of their seets and make their way to the nearest exit, trying to get down to the ring, even though there's no chance they'll remotely get there in a timely manner. Kingston and Manny whip Mueller into the ropes and nail him with a Double Flap Jack before pulling him up and shoving him towards Valentine, who lifts him up for the Ego Trip Ganso Bomb, dropping him right on his head! Harvey: Mueller may have won the battle, but it looks like The Red Shield Mafia is winning the war thus far!APW Overdrive goes to a commercial break with the Red Shield Mafia standing triumphantly over the downed Mueller.

We find ourselves backstage with Cindy Shannon standing by one of APW's recent additions, Leila Faharri. Cindy: Leila, your match with Mark Moment is coming up, next. How do you feel heading into this match up, tonight?Leila Faharri looks at Cindy Shannon with complete and utter disgust. She raises her hand tugging on Cindy’s blouse before wiping her hands off; clearly, Leila wasn't impressed. Cindy Shannon looks down at her blouse shyly, while Leila Faharri voices her distain for the backstage interviewer. Leila Faharri: You expect me to address you as a human being when you choose to dress like that? You have no honour, no shame and no respect for yourself! If you can't respect yourself how do you expect me to belief you will respect me? I haven't been respected since I have gotten here.Cindy Shannon is about to speak and defend herself; but is cut off by an assertive Leila Faharri. Leila Faharri: Seek silence at once women! You professionalism is absolutely, appalling and I request, no, I demand that this interview ceases at once! And for future reference... cover yourself up.Leila Faharri turns to walk away, but bumps chest first into Level-One who has now made his way into the frame. Leila Faharri glares at the former world champion, uncertain on what exactly she should come to expect. A sly grin crosses the face of Level-One who pushes Leila Faharri to the side and throws Cindy Shannon a t-shirt. Cindy Shannon catches the extra large t-shirt, looking at it befuddled. Level-One: She's right. You really should cover yourself up...The crowd watching at home boo's as Cindy Shannon looks up at Level-One shake her head back and forth; but Level-One doesn't budge. Cindy Shannon feeling defeated, gives in, throwing the long t-shirt over her head. On the front of the T-shirt; it says ''I ____ support Level-One'' with small words underneath reading ''...as number one contender!'' Level-One: However... we have a problem.Level-One says, casually looking over his shoulders, where Leila Faharri is standing by. Level-One switches his attention to Leila Faharri as Cindy Shannon holds the microphone to his mouth. Level-One: You, Leila... you maybe disgusted by the way that Cindy Shannon chooses to carry herself, like a slut... but I have a problem with the way you, wrestle. Last week, I recall YOU being pinned and dropping the ball, ultimately delaying my road to the top. You've inconvienced me.Leila Faharri shakes her head back and forth; she doesn't agree. Leila Faharri: Foolishness! You know exactly what happened. Sally, cheated. Sally, cheated me—like Pence Weatherlight cheated you! We are no different, Level-One.Level-One stops, closes his eyes, wipes his hands across his face... and shockingly, enough, nods his head in acknowledgement. Level-One: You know, you maybe onto something...Sally Talfourd makes her way into the situation pushing Cindy Shannon to the side, marching alongside Level-One, violently shoving Leila Faharri backwards. Leila Faharri ready to scrap back is cut off by Level-One who holds her back. Sally Talfourd eggs on a fight looking to seek some more revenge but instead only finds herself in the cross hairs of Level-One. Level-One: You screwed me over last week, Sally. Your problem isn't with Leila right now, it's with me. See, by doing what you did last week... you interfered with something much bigger then you can begin to understand. You threw a monkey wrench in my plans. As small and as insignificant is maybe—I am not the type of man you want to fuck around with. I am not going to let you get away with this.Sally Talfourd: This has nothing to do with you, Level-One. See, me and Leila go way, way, way back...Level-One cuts off Sally Talfourd. Level-One: I don't give a shit. You need to be taught a lesson. But hey, I'm a good guy. I am willing to let you get away with it; assuming, that you help me out—much like Leila has. All you need to do; is publically, acknowledge me as the perfect candidate number one contender to Pence Weatherlights title. If Biggs is willing to listen to the fans, surely, he's willing to listen to his own roster members...Sally Talfourd smiles, shaking her head back and forth, waving her finger in the face of Level-One—slighting Level-One in the process. Sally Talfourd: You don't actually expect me to do that for you, do you? Ha!Level-One clenches his fist, shoving Sally Talfourd back with his chest. Level-One looks to come to blows with the much smaller Sally Talfourd; before all three individuals slowly, turn their heads to the side to see General Manger, Biggs walking by humming a tune. Biggs stops, turns his head, acknowledging the small gathering by the interview set. Biggs: Do we have a problem here?Sally Talfourd quickly raises her hand; like a school girl in class. Biggs, confused, he points at her—giving her the green light to speak. Sally Talfourd: Well, Level-One here was just gathering members for a faction to overthrow Thursday Night Overdrive and undermine your authority yet, again within the APW!Level-One looks at Sally Talfourd as Leila Faharri jumps in, pointing her index finger at Sally Talfourd. Leila Faharri: That's an outright lie!Biggs looks at Level-One who can't help but laugh to himself. Level-One: Come on, Biggs. Like I would do something like that...Biggs looks like he's about to say something, but hesitates long enough for Level-One to take control of the situation. Level-One: Truth is, we all just gathered to talk about things... you know, like politics... the point is; we are all on our way, now.Biggs looks at Cindy Shannon who is wearing the long T-shirt; seemingly supporting Level-One's title shot and immediately knows something is up. Biggs: I get the feeling that there's more that meets the eye here. And to be quite honest with Leila Faharri scheduled for a match in just a few minutes and both Sally Talfourd and Level-One hanging out backstage here; I can't trust that order can nor will remain on Thursday Night Overdrive—which is why I am putting both you Level-One and you Sally Talfourd in a match tonight to keep you two busy, especially you Level-One...Level-One: That's bullshit! I am not even prepared to wrestle tonight, Biggs.Sally Talfourd: I'm ready to go, boss!Level-One flashes a dirty look to Sally Talfourd who merely flashes a smile back in return. Biggs, can't help but smile. Biggs: Perfect! Tonight it will be Level-One vs. Sally Talfourd! Level-One, if you aren't ready, you better start preparing for your match. And Sally, you may not be as enthusiastic as you are right now when it comes to wrestling our FORMER world champion... he really is no slouch.Biggs takes a step towards Level-One; who is grilling Biggs in return. The two stare at each-other for a few seconds, before Biggs breaks eye contact and turns his back to three eager competitors. Biggs: Good luck!We head back to ringside, where the opening lyrics to Cum on feel the noise hit the PA and the titantron comes on. As soon as the music kicks in, Pyro shoots up in front of the entrance way and Mark Moment runs out, jumping up and down, excited. Mark runs down the aisle, slapping the fans of a few fans a long the way and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Mark quickly gets up, runs up the turn buckle and raises his arms in the air, while the fans cheer and pictures are being taken. Mark then goes to his corner and gives him more salute to the fans before waiting for the match to begin. 'Astronaut' by Amanda Palmer comes over the arena, the lights fading down to a low light. Suddenly the crowd is engulfed in a wave of green light before Leila walks onto the stage, bathed in the glow of a spotlight. She looks up above her, then raises her hands slightly as the lights return to normal. She walks down to the ring, ringing her hands as she goes; focused on the match, ignoring the nobodies boo-ing her as she passes them. She walks up the steps, steps through the ring and looks to the skies again. After a moment's pause, she casts a mocking look over the crowd before she removes her khimar, folding it and handing it over to the official. She flicks her hair out a few times then rolls her shoulders over a few times, warming up for the match. Paige: Ladies and gentlemen, the following match is scheduled for one-fall. The first competitor, hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, and weighing in at one-hundred and eighty pounds, Mark Moment! The crowd burst into cheers for Mark who darts up the turnbuckle and look shout to his fans. They cheer his name, he takes it in, then jumps down from the second rope and makes his way back to the center of the ring. Paige: And his opponent tonight, hailing from Tehran, Iran. She weighs in tonight at one-hundred and thirty pounds. She is Leila Farrahi!Leila looks Mark Moment over, from feet to face, then takes a step closer. The ref puts himself between to two before pushing them back towards their corners. Once he's satisfied he calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Mark Moment vs. Leila Faharri
Both stare down, then run in for a lock up. There's a struggle, both vying for the upper hand. Mark quickly send Leila down with a side-headlock take-down. Leila struggles, keeps herself off the mat, then pushes Mark's forearm off her head. Both jump to their feet, quickly to face each other and lock up again. Leila into another headlock, pulls Mark to the ropes. Ref calls for Mark to let go, who break the hold and steps back.
Leila comes off the ropes, ducks a clothesline from Mark, them off the ropes again and sends him to his knees with a dropkick to the leg. Both are quickly to their feet, Mark this time takes to the ropes. He comes off, Leila leapfrogs him. Mark off the opposite ropes, Leila slides beneath his legs. Mark to the ropes again, Leila ducks, Mark holds onto the ropes, waits for Leila to come off and comes off with a hard clothesline. Leila drops to the mat and rolls to the ropes.
Harvey: It's still early in this match, but for the time being, Moment has the advantage.
Chase: Still, it was smart of Leila to roll to the ropes. With Moment's high flying style, she's going to want to keep the pace of this match slower.
Leila eyes off Mark, who walks the ring. She pulls herself up, the two focus on one another then charge in for another lock up. Leila gets the upper hand, locks Mark's arm into an armbar hammerlock take-down. Mark is forced front down into the mat while Leila pulls back on her arm. She puts a knee to his shoulder, applying the pressure and pain she promised for the match. She tries to turn her armbar into the Fujiwara armbar she has won so many matches with, but Mark is able to get free enough to pull Leila's free leg out from under her. She is forced to let go.
Harvey: Leila has a real mean streak! You can tell she didn't want to let go of that hold.
Both are up. Leila charges at Mark. Mark stops her with a dropkick. He turns, jumps to the ropes and hits Leila with his spring board spinning heel kick. Leila is prone on the ground. Mark heads to the corner, climbs to the top rope. Leila pulls herself up, heading towards his corner. Mark comes off the top rope with a hurricanrana! Into a pin 1 . . . 2 . kick out! Leila forces her shoulder up as Mark rolls off. Leila pulls herself up with the ropes, Mark waiting for her. She comes off the ropes, mark leapfrogs her this time, waits for Leila to come back and hooks her up in a crucifix. Leila is forced down into a crucifix pin, the ref goes for the count. 1 . . . 2 . kick out.
Chase: Mark almost caught her there!
Mark is off and waits for Leila. She finds her feet, but heads for the ropes to buy her some time. The ref calls for the match, and Leila comes in looking for another lock up. Mark goes for it, Leila rakes the eyes. Mark holds his face, Leila goes downstairs with a kick to the gut. She gets Mark in a wristlock. Into and arm wringer. Into a side headlock and Mark is down on the mat. Mark is desperate to avoid a pin, Leila applies more pressure. Mark is able to push his way to his feet, positions his opponent and pushes her off into the ropes. Leila comes off, is hit with a sliding kick. She falls to the fat face first. Mark pulls her up then applies the kicks to the legs. Leila manages to stay up until the third, then is down on her knee. Mark off the ropes and a drop kick to the back. Roll up. 1 . . . 2 . kick out.
Mark rolls Leila over, pulls her to her feet. He starts up the kicks again. Leila catches his leg, spins him and gets him with a hard chop. Chop again. She chops him to the corner then lays in some forearm uppercuts. Again and again until Mark is weak enough to get whipped to the opposite side of the ring. Leila goes in for a clothesline, Mark put with another dropkick to her leg. Takes her down to her knees, goes for a round kick to her head. Leila ducks, rolls forward. She hooks an arm around Mark's free leg and takes him down. She holds his leg, hooks it up and locks in on a triangle choke, the Bagh. Mark struggles, gets near to tapping, but catches the rope. Leila holds for the 4 count then lets go.
Harvey: Yet another example of Leila's mean streak!
Chase: I prefer to think of it as an aggressive spirit rather than a mean streak!
As Mark is down, Leila his him a flurry of elbow drops to the shoulder. She drops a knee into the center of the back, rolls over and applies body scissors to Mark's chest. Mark begins to fade, Leila rakes over his eyes. She then locks on a headlock, but gives Mark enough room to force her legs off him. Leila holds the headlock, lets go and gets a forearm in to the back of Mark's head. She heads to the ropes, Mark has enough sense to quickly reverse whatever Leila had planned into a sunset flip. 1 . . . 2 . kick out by Leila. Leila, frustrated at not having got a pin yet, rolls out, but gets Mark is slow to his feet. She lays the kicks into his sides, then with a kick to the gut comes off the ropes again with a facebreaker DDT. This doesn't send Mark down. Another kick to the gut and Leila hits a sitout facebuster. Leila stands, cocky as anything, but is shocked to see Mark making his feet again. With a frustrated scream she puts some space between herself and Mark, then as he stands she hits him with a superkick, the Shaam. Mark falls to the mat. Rolled up for the pin: 1 . . . 2 . . kick out.
Harvey: She thought she had him there!
Leila slams the mat, angered. She doesn't lose focus for long though as she pulls Mark to his feet, back to the center of the mat and fingers his eyes. He stands dazed. Leila measures him up, then sends him down with a spinning sidekick, the Bedrood! The crowd are livid as Leila gets her finisher in. But she isn't done. She locks Mark's legs up, into a Lady of the Lake, and rolls over into the Fujiwara armbar! Mark is desperate to make it out. The ref checks on him. Leila rolls back further onto Mark's back, his arm taking on an unnatural angle. Mark, in enough pain, is forced to tap! DING! DING! DING! Winner: Leila Farrahi Paige: Ladies and gentlemen, your winner for this match: Leila Farrahi!Harvey: Mark Moment put up a great fight here tonight, but after coming out on the losing end last week, Leila felt like she had something to prove here tonight.Chase: And proved it she did, as Leila showed that she's not the type of woman you should mess with!Leila holds the hold on for well after the bell. The ref reaches in, tries to break it up. Leila says something to him in Arabic, then finally lets go. She looks down at her opponent, holding his arm and shoulder. Leila continues to yell Arabic at him, then goes back to her corner to put her khimar back on. The crowd hurls abuse at her, but she channels it out. She looks back over to Mark once more, then heads out the ring as Overdrive goes to a commercial break.

A video is shown as APW comes back from commercial break. A voice is heard as the screen is black.
Voice: A.P.W., faithful you have seen me once before, you know my name, you know what I look like. However you know nothing about me.
Suddenly there is an image on the screen, it is of a man wearing the same cloak we saw just a few days ago. He is standing in front of a pulpit, or atleast that is what it looks like. He walks from there over to a small table where there are a lot of candles and knives and other such things, he picks up a knife and drives it into the table.
Voice: This is my station in life, I am the son of a VERY POWERFUL Wiccan Priestess, many Wiccan, and Voodoo people beleive that you must use human blood for a blood sacrifice, well when I use human blood it is my own.
At this point we see blood pouring down the mans arm, and dripping into a bowl, suddenly there is a blast of smoke. When the smoke clears the man, and his belongings are gone and all that we see is the A.P.W. Head Office Building. A voice can still be heard.
Voice: Listen well A.P.W. roster, and fans alike I am coming to collect the pride, and the egos of all in the A.P.W. who are EEEEVVVVVIIIIIILLLL, or corrupt. Many men have made this claim and said that they were guided by Heaven, or by Hell. Me I make this claim and I swear to you that I am not guided by either of those forces, I am guided by the darkness within every human being.
After this a graphic comes on the screen.
He is coming. BEWARE..... Darkness decends on APW in 17 days..
As the video comes to a close, the camera switches backstage in the locker room. Jimmy Jazz, Meursault, and Shana are standing around looking for ways to pass by the time.
Meursault: So did you ever talk to Jeff and Biggs about getting a spot at Mayhem?
Jazz: Yeah but they sort of blew me off. Jeff gave me ‘tude and Biggs rubbed in my lost to Mark Moment a few weeks ago in my face. I tell you what Mark, you got lucky as hell. I wasn’t on my A-Game and he knew that. That cookie-cutter kiss ass knows he can’t beat me when I have all my marbles so it’s whatever.
Shana: You know baby, you also lost to Hellfire K.I.D that other week
Jazz: (in his mind) Bitch did I ask you? (Out loud) no comment
Meursault: Whatever. You have a match with a new kid coming up called Crazy Joe. Should be hard to ignore you beating that guy senseless.
Jazz: You’re onto something. I guess since Biggs and Jeff isn’t appreciative of the greatness they have in me, I should cause my own ruckus. Now APW, I tried to be quiet but obviously you all aren’t hearing my Jazz so now I must turn up the bass. Be prepared because if the Jazz Revolution won’t be televised, leave it to me to make our presence known. This time my friends, we will not be silenced.
The scene then transitions to another locker room where Hellfire K.I.D is sitting on a chair, pulling up his knee pads. Alyssa stands beside him, adjusting her elbow pads. Hellfire looks over at her.
Hellfire: You ready for tonight.
Alyssa: More than ever.
A knock on the door his heard
Alyssa: Are you expecting anyone?
Hellfire: No, I wonder who it is.
Hellfire grabs his Overdrive Title before yelling “Come In”. Hellfire and Alyssa look on as the door opens, and its only Mark Moment.
Hellfire: Damn Mark. You should have gave me some warning that it was you. I got a big target on my back ever since winning the Overdrive Title. You never know who’s gonna show up and attack.
Mark: Don’t need to worry about me doing that to you Hellfire. Because I want you at a hundred percent when we fight at Mayhem.
Hellfire: Good to know. So what’s up?
Mark: Well, Last week, we worked well as a team, and because of that, I’ve gain some extra respect for you. To come out on top against Jim Steel and Michael Lively, showed that we shouldn’t be taken lightly. And because of that, I just wanted to let you know, that from now, until Mayhem, I got your back. When I fight you, I want it to be a fair match, where the best man will win. And where tonight, your fighting Biggs and Ellie with Cyrus as Special referee, you can rest a sure that I’ll be keeping a close eye out.
Hellfire: I appreciate the help, but I think we can take care of our selves. Lets go Alyssa.
Hellfire and Alyssa walks off, leaving Mark to look on.
Harvey: Biggs and Ellie Versus Hellfire and Alyssa. Mix tag action, coming up next
Overdrive fades to commercial.

APW Overdrive comes back from commercial with Chris Cyrus already in the ring. He is wearing a referee shirt. Paige: The following contest is a mixed-tag team match, scheduled for one fall!“Somebody Help Me,” by Full Blown Rose, hits the P.A. as Alyssa and Hellfire K.I.D. walk out. Suddenly a burst of pyro and there's a phoenix on the titantron. At this point Alyssa and Hellfire run to the ring sliding in awaiting their opponents. Paige: Already in the ring, the APW Overdrive Champion Hellfire K.I.D and Alyssa Morenna! The arena lights start to flash purple as Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence" begins to play loudly over the speakers. Ellie enters the arena clad in her wrestling gear and ring jacket, and is joined by Biggs. Paige: And their opponents, Biggs and Ellie! The crowd boos loudly as the couple makes their way down the ramp towards the ring. As the reach the ring, Biggs walks up the steps first and holds the ropes open for Ellie before stepping into the ring himself. Her and Biggs dance a bit in the center of the ring before removing their shades and jackets. Ellie gives Biggs a quick peck on the cheek before he steps out onto the apron. Hellfire gives Alyssa a brief pep talk before exiting the ring himself. Cyrus calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING![/center] Hellfire K.I.D. & Alyssa Morenna vs. Biggs & Ellie
Alyssa stares a hole in Ellie, who chickens out and makes a quick tag to Biggs. Alyssa begrudgingly makes a tag to Hellfire.
Harvey: Remember folks, in this match, the men can fight the women and the women can fight the men, but I think Alyssa wants to keep herself fresh for when Ellie actually enters the match.
Chase: Good head games by Ellie there! Alyssa is obviously frustrated that she has to wait to get her hands on her, and Ellie's going to use that to her advantage!
Biggs and Hellfire tie up in the middle of the ring, and Hellfire quickly pulls of an Armdrag, taking Biggs down to the mat! The Overdrive Champ immediately locks in an Armbar/ Half-Crab combo on Biggs, but the GM wriggles his way out quickly, and rolls backwards, getting some separation from Hellfire. Both men get to their feet, and circle around the ring. Biggs seems tentative, not wanting to get caught again, while Hellfire has a confident look on his face. After a few moments, the two men tie up again, and Hellfire shoves Biggs back into the corner. Hellfire then begins to unload on Biggs, punching him repeatedly as The Spaceman tries to defend himself. From out of nowhere, Biggs gives Hellfire a hard kick to the crotch! The fans boo as Cyrus looks the other way, feigning that he didn't see Biggs' actions! Biggs grabs Hellfire by the head, and bounces it off the turnbuckle before dragging Hellfire's face across the top rope as he heads towards his and Ellie's corner! The rope-marks on Hellfire's face are very visible as Biggs slams his head into the turnbuckle a couple of times before shoving him chest first into the turnbuckle. Biggs then turns Hellfire around and motions for Ellie to wrap the tag rope around Hellfire's throat, which she does, while Biggs repeatedly rams his shoulder into the midsection of Hellfire!
Harvey: What blatant cheating from Biggs and Ellie here tonight! Although I'd like to say that I can't believe the ref is letting them get away with this, it is Chris Cyrus we're talking about!
Chase: It isn't cheating unless Cyrus says it is!
At this point, the fans are booing like crazy, and Alyssa is trying to tell Cyrus that there's funny business involved. Rather than breaking it up, though, Cyrus gets down to one knee and acts like he's tying his shoe! This enrages Alyssa, and she steps into the ring, looking to head over to help out Hellfire! However, Cyrus pops right up, and physically blocks Alyssa, putting his hands up impede her movement. Whether it's inadvertent or not, Cyrus ends up groping Alyssa as he tries to restrain her, drawing loud laughs from the crowd and a grin on Cyrus' face. Alyssa doesn't take kindly to this at all, and decks Cyrus right upside the head, taking him down to the mat! Ellie sees Alyssa charging, and motions to Biggs that Alyssa is coming, but it's a little to late, as Alyssa clocks Biggs from behind, and then gets a hold of Ellie's hair, flipping her into the ring the hard way! The fans are cheering loudly for Alyssa as she begins to go to town on Ellie, who screams and whimpers as she tries to get her hands up to defend herself! Cyrus gets to his feet, rubbing his chin, and calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Winners: Biggs & Ellie Paige: Here are your winners, by disqualification, Biggs and Ellie!Harvey: What the heck!? That's a fishy call if ever there was one!Chase: Not at all! Alyssa got physical with the referee, and he DQ'ed her. Simple as that!Harvey: Well, Biggs and Ellie cheated first!Alyssa is still focused on Ellie as Cyrus and Biggs come up from behind her and pull her up by the hair, ripping her off of Ellie! Alyssa is struggling mightily as the two men restrain her, allowing Ellie to get to her feet. The crowd is at near riot levels as Ellie squishes Alyssa's cheeks with one hand, getting in her face as Biggs and Cyrus keep her at bay. Ellie lines up to slap Alyssa clean across the face, but before she can, Hellfire grabs a hold of her wrist! At this point, Biggs and Cyrus immediately let go of Alyssa, and jump right back on to Hellfire, double teaming him with some vicious clubbing blows! They double team whip him into the ropes, but on the rebound, he takes both of them down with a Double Clothesline, bringing the crowd to life! Hellfire motions for Biggs to get back up, but before he can do anything, Ellie gets down to one knee and gives him another Low Blow from behind! By this point, Alyssa is back up, and she grabs Ellie by the hair again! However, Cyrus and Biggs are up as well, and Cyrus grabs her from behind, copping a feel while doing so, before slamming her hard down into the mat! Biggs grabs a hold of the hunched over Hellfire's head, and runs up the ropes, nailing the Bigg Time! Alyssa is coughing as Biggs and Cyrus then drag her up and sit her on the top turnbuckle! Ellie then comes over, gets a running start, and springs off the center rope before taking Alyssa down with the Dream Maker Top Rope Frankensteiener! The crowd is livid as Biggs and Cyrus raise Ellie's arms in victory as “Enjoy the Silence” begins to play. Harvey: This is just sick! I don't like this one bit!Chase: How can you not like this, Harv!? Look at that smile on Ellie's face!Harvey: She can smile all she wants, the fact is that it's only due to the help of Biggs and Cyrus that she can come out here the past few weeks and play wrestler! It's a darn shame that she's gotten the better of Alyssa this week! The fans continue to boo as Biggs, Ellie and Cyrus parade around the ring triumphantly.

The Lights Dim and a smooth but short jazz tune plays. The music stops the lights come back on and suddenly “Hero,” by Skillet, hits and then pyro comes from underneath the stage. Jazz comes out with Shana and Meursault and struts to the ramp then stops, shrugs his shoulders, and lowers his arms then quickly raises them. Paige: Making his way to the ring first, accompanied by Shana and Meursault, weighing in at 220 pounds, from Chicago, Illinois, Jazz!
He rubs his hands together as he approaches the ring. He slides in and raises his arms and the crowd boos loud. He jumps up and wipes his face as his music lowers and eventually cuts off.
As “The Seed,” by The Roots, plays, Crazy Joe pops out from behind the curtain. He looks around, takes a deep breath and raises his arm.
Paige: And his opponent, making his APW debut, weighing in at 250 pounds, from Boston, Massachusetts, Crazy Joe!
He walks down the ramp towards the ring, eyes centered on the ring. He slowly walks up the stairs, then quickly hops over the ropes.
Jazz vs. Crazy Joe
Jazz turns his back on Joe to taunt the fans, drawing loud boos. Joe doesn't take well to this, shooting in behind Jazz to deliver a quick German Suplex! Both men pop back up, and Joe gives Jazz another German Suplex! Up once more, and once more, Jazz gets another German Suplex for his troubles! Jazz wisely rolls out of the ring to catch a breather. The fans are on their feet, booing Jazz, and unsure of how to respond to Crazy Joe.
Harvey: Crazy Joe is making Jazz pay big time for his overconfidence!
Chase: Well, you can't fault Jimmy Jazz for his confidence. What you can fault him for is turning his back on an unknown commodity! Let's be honest here, we know absolutely nothing about Crazy Joe, other than the fact that he's apparently crazy and that his name is Joe!
As Jazz is on the outside, Crazy Joe walks over to the ropes and grabs a hold of Jazz's head from behind! Jazz turns around and gives him a thumb to the eye before jumping up onto the apron and hotshoting Joe's neck right across the top rope! Jazz then quickly rolls into the ring, and gets to his feet, giving Joe a couple of well placed stomps to the sternum! He follows up by pulling Joe up to a vertical base, wrapping one arm around Joe's head, and getting handful of tights with the other to deliver a quick Snap Suplex! Jazz maintains his grip, and pulls Joe back up, hitting another Snap Suplex! Jimmy Jazz makes it a trifecta before going for a cover, but not even getting a one count! The crowd gets a loud “Jazz sucks! Jazz sucks!” chant going, and a sour look comes across Jazz's face as he gets to his feet and grabs the top rope, yelling at some fans in the front row! While he's arguing, Joe is to his feet, and gets a running start, charging at Jazz! Jazz hears him coming, and falls to the mat, pulling down the rope to low bridge Crazy Joe straight out of the ring to the floor! Jazz immediately follows out, helping Joe to his feet before bouncing his head off the apron! Jazz then drags his opponent to the ring post, and shoves him hard up against it! Jazz then takes a couple of steps back, and rushes in for a Corner Clothesline, but Crazy Joe dodges, causing Jazz to drive his arm into the post!
Harvey: Crazy Joe dodge a bullet there!
Chase: And Jazz took it instead!
As Jazz shakes his arm to try and regain feeling, Crazy Joe gives him a vicious Roundhouse Kick, sending Jazz to the floor! The ref is to the count of six by this point. Joe, realizing where the count is, rolls in and out of the ring to reset it, and goes back on the attack on Jimmy Jazz, mounting him and pounding him in the face with his fists! “1 . . . 2 . . . . 3!” The ref yells from in the ring for them to get back in, but Crazy Joe pays him no attention, continuing to pummel Jazz! “4 . . . 5 . . . 6!” Jimmy finally gets his hands up to protect himself, and as Joe tries to break his defenses, Jazz gets an opening to adjust his weight and roll over, getting Joe on the floor and giving Jazz the advantage! He uses this advantage to tear into Crazy Joe, giving him a machine gun like volley of fists to the forehead!
Harvey: They need to get back in the ring before the ref counts them out!
Chase: I don't think they care!
“7 . . . 8 . . . 9!” At this point, Joe reaches up and begins to choke Jimmy, and Jimmy wraps his hands around Joe's throat as well! “10!” DING! DING! DING!
Winner: Draw
Paige: As a result of a double count out, this match is ruled a draw!
The crowd lets their dissatisfaction with the outcome of the match be heard as the ref tries to break the two men up. More referees and road agents have ran down to ringside, trying to pull Crazy Joe and Jimmy Jazz apart, with little success!
Chase: These two have hardly met, and they already hate each other! I love it!
Harvey: Well, if you take Jimmy Jazz's disgruntlement as of late, and mix it with a volatile personality like Crazy Joe, it only makes sense that it would come to this! Jazz wants to take his frustrations out on somebody, and Joe just wants to live up to his namesake. You got to hate draws, but lets be honest here, these two were so evenly matched thus far that I wouldn't be surprised to see a rematch in the not so distant future.
The refs and agents are still trying to pull the two apart as APW goes to a commercial break.

APW returns from the break, and Cindy Shannon is backstage with Jim Steel. Shannon:I am here with APW Superstar Jim Steel. Mr Steel. Why are you here tonight. Your not scheduled to be in action this weekSteel:So what. Just because I am not scheduled doesn't mean I wont be here. I will always be around no matter if I am in action or notShannon: Your opponent Michael Lively is in action tonight against Pence WeatherlightSteel:Thats another reason for me to be here. I will be keeping an eye on that match and try and figure out what Michael Lively's weakness is and trust me I will findShannon:Last week you teamed with him and after you told him he can trust you you stabbed him in the backSteel:(Laughs)That will teach him not to trust me next time. Last week I made a statement and when we meet the Extreme Title will be mine.Shannon:Before I let you go alot of people have been asking about you and what motivates youSteel:All you and all those people out there need to know is I like to hurt people and the more people I hurt the happier I get. Thats why I like to fight in Hardcore Matches because I can do whatever I want to my opponent and there is nothing the APW can do about it and Michael Lively. You better watch your back tonight because I am here and I will be watching and you never know what I will do.At this point, Jim Steel walks off camera, leaving Cindy to look directly into the camera. Shannon: Back to Darren and Johnny at ringside.Harvey: Jim Steel vs. Michael Lively for the APW Xtreme Championship is just one of the many matches to look forward to at Mayhem, live from Tacoma, Washington, on Sunday May 23rd!Chase: This event is going to be huge, as all the title are on the line! Also, we've just received word that another match has been added to Mayhem! The screen switches to the red background with the scratched Mayhem logo, with Crazy Joe and Jazz's headshots being shown on the screen. Harvey: Crazy Joe and Jazz will face off again at Mayhem in a Falls Count Anywhere Match! Their match ended in count-out earlier tonight, but that absolutely cannot happen at Mayhem!Chase: Also, the debut of Kalev Mahu will take place in Tacoma! We don't know who he'll be facing, but we know that he will be there!Harvey: Up next we have a dandy of a contest, Sally Talford going one on one against Level One!The Camera pans out over the arena where several signs can be seen. “Try me Level One!” one fan’s sign reads. “Sally, I’ve got a Magic trick to show you.” “Lester = Level One, Pence = level two!” Chase (laughing): I think you mean a dandy of an execution there partner!Paige: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, from Seattle Washington, she is the Last Magician, Saaaalllyy TALFORD!The crowd is buzzing with anticipation for the coming match. On cue, the lights take on a blue tinge and 'Starstrukk' hits the speakers. This sets the crowd off: everyone knows who this is leading up to. As the song bursts to life, out races Sally Talfourd, racing to the front of the stage. Raising her hands to the crowd, she kicks her leg and heads towards the ring, slapping hands with the crowd that hangs over the rails for her. Sally stands at the base of the steps to the ring, waving to the crowd as she is announced. When that's done, she dashes up the steps, hoists herself over the top ring and bounces to the centre of the ring. Poses for the crowd as the lights return to normal and the music fades out. The crowd still cheers for the adorable Sally as she starts to stretch for the match. Harvey: Wow, she really looks confident. She's going to need to maintain that level of confidence to overcome Level-One here tonight!Chase: Um… a big fat no. This is the girl who added a strike in the loss column to One’s career. NOT someone whose shoes I’d want to be standing in if you know what I’m saying!Paige: And now, hailing from Toronto Canada, the one, the only. LEVEL ONE!Put You On Game- By Lupe Fiasco blasts the PA system, as Level-One steps up on-top of the ramp. Red smoke swirls beneath him, and a string of red and blue pyro shoots up into the air he raises both of his titles high in the air. Level-One slowly begins to walk down the ramp, being booed loudly by the crowd. Level-One stops before eyeing down a fan, mocking the fan in the process. Level-One turns, and climbs up onto the apron. He climbs up turn-buckle, hoisting his title high in the air. Level-One hops down, and awaits for the fight in-front of him. Chase: Just something about this guy walking to the ring without a title just doesn’t look right. He’s the embodiment of a winner.Harvey: Except for the fact that he looooost?Chase: I’m telling him you said that.Level-One has his ever familiar scowl across his face as he stares coldly at Sally Talfourd. Sally remains unphased, focused on the task at hand. The ref calls for the bell, DING! DING! DING! Level-One vs. Sally Talfourd
Harvey: There’s no call for that! Oh wait and we’ve gotten started here tonight!
Sally bounces around for a few moments on her toes eyeing Level One standing across from her, and his response is to point and laugh. A chorus of boos reign own on him for it which seems to snap the mocking mood of the gesture and he barks out words that aren’t picked up by the cameras over the roar of the crowd but are obviously less that complimentary towards the fans sitting in the front row. Sally takes advantage of the moment charging in towards One firing a series of punches at kicks into his stomach and leg that back him up against the rope for a moment before he turns around shoving her backwards. The force of the move sends her falling back hard on her back, a little shocked as she realizes just how strong One really is.
Harvey: Bad move by One letting himself get distracted by the fans, his opponent is in the ring.
Chase: What opponent… oooh you mean that little girl?! HAHA
Sally is back on her feet by the time One charges extending his arm for a closeline, but Talford just isn’t there for it, she ducks under it letting One take a step past her before she jumps up extending one leg and flipping around into a leg lariat that catches him in the back and once again sends him stumbling towards the ropes.
Harvey: Talford is not backing down one bit!
Again Sally closes in trying to capitalize driving forearms into One’s back over and over. But he spins around his arm batting her aside and sending her staggering down to one knee, obviously stunned by the force of the blow. Anger seems to radiate off of One in waves as he walks over and grabs a massive fistful of Sally’s hair literally picking her up to her feet by it and drawing as cream of pain from her, much to the annoyance of the ref who begins a count. Before he can so much as reach two though One smashes his head forward driving a headbutt right into the center of Sally’s face once, twice, and then lets go letting her flop back to the mat. He shakes his head once more yelling abuse at the fans as he walks around pointing at her as she tries to recover, her hands clutching at her face. One leans over forcing Sally back to her feet and hooks her arms behind her body.
Chase: Oh look out, he’s setting up for the Level Advance, this thing is ending early!
As One is hooking the second arm Sally shows freakish agility her let snapping up from underneath and hooking around behind her back to snap against the top of Level’s head. The blow lacks much force but it shocks him as much as anyone else and she is able to slip out of the hold jumping straight into the air and driving both feet into One’s right knee. He gives a yell and then falls like a giant oak tree clutching the limb.
Harvey: Holy… now Level One knows better than to try that this early! And he just paid for it with that beautiful drop kick right into his knee.
Chase: She’d better be careful, you do not want to get this guy mad at you!
Sally pants slightly, the look on her face making it plain she realizes just how close she game to losing this match before it ever really started. Giving her head a bit of a shake she rises back to her feet, clapping her hands several times to wake up the crowd who begins to echo the clapping as it spreads across the arena encouraging her on. She moves over to One who is still trying to work his knee and aims a boot right into his upper right shoulder. She fires another and another and then grabs the arm holding it against the mat to give her a moment to give a small jump and then drive her body knee first into the limb. One makes a grab for her with his free hand, but Sally is too quick to be caught by the blow and then wraps the target arm, already abused, around her right leg and then falls on it with her left and the rest of her body weight in arm breaker maneuver that draws a bit of a yelp from One as he grabs his arm and as Sally rises manages to drive a boot right into her gut that staggers her, sending her back several feet and down to one knee with the air knocked right out of her lungs.
Harvey: Smart, smart wrestling by Talford. Trying to take away the biggest advantage One has in this match, his strength.
Sally forces herself back to her feet and charges One leaping as he tries to stand as well, and grabs a hold of his head trying to use the force of the charge to drive him over into a DDT, but One’s unattacked arm shoves up on her lower back and hips sending her flying off into the turnbuckle with such terrific force that the crowd is stunned almost to silence as she bounces off.
Chase: And that, ladies and gentleman, is how you take the pop out of a momentum fighter right there!
Talford is barely moving, laying on the mat, one of her legs sprawled up onto the turnbuckle still. One for his part is finally back fully on his feet working the feeling back into the arm she went to work on and snarls, turning a look of total hatred and destain on the woman. He marches over to where she is laying and grabs a hold of the top rope using it to push off of as he shoves his foot across her neck trying to choke the life out of her. The ref is all over it running over to One and yelling at him before starting the count One smirks watching the ref as if amused by his counting letting go half a moment before he reached five. He nodded at the ref’s warning and took a small walk before returning his grip to the rope and uses it as a grip as he then fires a series of stomps into her chest and stomach with a yell of determination. As he’s forced to back off again by the ref who is now redfaced from screaming at him, Sally can be seen curling up into a ball obviously hurt.
Suddenly there is an odd ripple roar from the crowd that it takes a moment for the cameras and the announcers to place
Harvey: What’s going… holy shit that’s Bryan Payne. What on earth is he doing coming out here in the middle of this match?!
Chase: I have a better question, why is he holding a steel chair?
He was indeed holding a steel chair that looked like it had been smashed quite a bit, brownish stains were on one side of it, and Bryan was wearing a little smirk as he approached the ring side area.
Inside the ring, One still isn’t aware of the new arrival and has picked up Talford rising her to the top turnbuckle and then walks up to the second one himself. He loads her up onto his shoulders and then jumps off the rope leveraging her over so that he slams her down with his full weight coming down on top of her in a rather innovative jackknife like maneuver from the tope rope. The result is rather devastating as Talford sprawls on the mat, almost lifeless.
It is as One rolls over to make the cover that he notices Payne at ringside with the chair and begins to yell at the ref. That same ref goes over to Payne who points over to the announce team and gestures that the chair is to sit in. One doesn’t buy it for a moment and leaves the lifeless Sally in the middle of the ring to join the ref in yelling at Payne who continues walking as though he doesn’t hear them.
Harvey: Is Bryan… it looks like he’s coming over here to join us at ringside partner!
Chase: Oh great, just what we need, another loudmouth in APW….
Payne: Hey, I resemble that remark.
Harvey: Congratulations on your victory earlier tonight, by the way.
Payne: Thanks!
Bryan settles down next to the two announcers on that battered chair a little cocky smirk on his face as he looks back to the ring pointing at One who gets back to his match. Lester has now come all the way back across the ring screaming at the ref and at Bryan who holds his hands up innocently and then adverts his eyes as Talford executes a chopblock from behind One to the knee she targeted earlier with that drop kick. Taken totally off guard he falls back in a heap and suddenly finds himself with Sally going for an attempted pin! The ref falls to the mat
1…
2….
Chase: And Level One powers out of that pin! See that Bryan, THAT is what you’re up against at Mayhem!
Payne: Hey, easy Chase, this isn’t about ME, this is about coming out here and showing support to my tag partner from last week. Big match for her tonight.
Sally fires a few punches that are largely ineffective trying to prevent One from getting back to his feet. When he does he shoves a foot right up into Sally’s gut doubling her over and then grabs one arm firing her towards a corner with an Irish Whip. She slams back first into the turnbuckle and arches falling to her knees and clutching her lower back. Not satisfied One stalks her standing her back up and slamming her face repeatedly into the turnbuckle before firing a second Irish whip this time chasing right behind her. As Sally approaches the turnbuckle, with One right on her heels, she jumps running her way up the ropes and then flips into the air grabbing One’s head and spinning him around into a Tornado DDT that brings the crowd screaming to his feet with approval.
Harvey: Woah! Out of nowhere Sally has clawed her way back into hits match, where is she finding the will to keep going after the beating she’s taken here tonight so far?!
Sally attempts another cover.
1…
One powers out of it almost immediately but still looks a bit stunned. Nodding Sally forces herself to keep going visibly tiring now she launches herself at the far ropes and slings back towards One who manages to roll to one side just in time to miss the knee. Sally the bounces off the other rope, this time Sally is the one who ducks underneath a clothesline attempt. On the third bounce however, One manages to get a boot up into the path planting it right in the center of Sally’s head almost sending her completely flipping over as she crashes to the mat.
Chase: OH! Rejected!
Harvey: I think she might have gone to the well one too many times with that one.. what do you think Bry-… uh.. where did he go?
One slides over on top of Sally grabbing one fistful of hair as he hammers punches down against her. She struggles trying to protect herself but the size and weight advantage starts to tell as he his able from this position to batter through and not even the ref is able to make him stop. He releases when he’s forced to but then resumes with the beating as soon as he is able. Again and again he slams his fist into Sally’s head and face as if intent on scaring her for life.
A sharp whistle is heard and One snaps his head up to see Bryan holding the chair as if he were ready to use it, but he’s standing on the outside of the ring. Snarling he stands up and walks over to the rope yelling abuse down at Payne and the ref looks on helplessly checking on Talford who spits up a little bit of blood onto the mat.
Harvey: What is going on here, look at that chair. What is… I..
Chase: Oh man, Payne is about to get it!
One snarls climbing to his feet as he marches over to the side of the ring where Payne is standing totally ignoring the ref who is still checking on Sally. The two yell words back and forth for a few moments and then One ducks between the ropes taking a swipe at Bryan who ducks underneath it sliding underneath the bottom rope. Suddenly both men are in the ring looking at each other and One walks over to Payne and the two men continue to talk to each other when suddenly One slams a fist into Bryan’s face. The smaller man is rocked and stumbles back several steps but as One moves to follow up the attack he is greeted with a massive full bodied swing of the chair, the impact against his skull turning the chair into an almost unrecognizable wreck of metal as One sprawls back onto the mat. The ref immediately calls for the bell! DING! DING! DING! Paige: And the winner of the match by disqualification is… Level ONE!Harvey: Oh my god, Bryan Payne just took Level One’s head off with that steel chair!Chase: And he just cost Sally Talford that match! Man oh man, I would NOT want to be Bryan Payne when Level-One wakes up…Bryan stands in the ring holding the ruin of a chair which he then hurls down onto the mat as he walks over to where Sally is still trying to get to her feet and helps her up to her feet. Sally looks slightly irritated about the disqualification, and exits the ring, rubbing her mouth. Payne stands over the downed Level-One, who isn't moving. Harvey: It's a shame that this match ended in a DQ, as Sally was really giving Level-One all she had.Chase: Payne had no business inserting himself into the match! Still, when have we ever seen Level-One laid out like this?Harvey: Not any time that I could recall! This feud between Level-One and Bryan Payne is getting more and more out of control each week!
