The scene opens up inside of President Jeff’s Office. Jeff is sitting at his desk, looking over some documents. He looks up and notices the camera man standing there recording him. Jeff puts the documents down on his desk and begins to speak.
Jeff: Ladies and Gentlemen. This Monday Night on Overdrive, I, “President” Hurricane Jeff will step into the ring and take on former APW world Champion, Twister. All week I’ve had emails, phone calls, people on the streets, everyone, ask me, Why Jeff, Why are you fighting Twister this Monday. What Possible Reason is there to fight Twister. One word. Money. The Moolah. See, Twister and I, we first met in a little company called SDWE almost six years ago. It was there where be teamed up and beat two guys who liked to call themselves, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cactus Jack and became tag team champions and we never lost those title. From there, I invited Twister to my company, CWF, Combat Wrestling Federation. It was there where Twister became a huge star. Soon after we both joined a company together, IWC, and it was there where Twister and I fought one on one for the first time. We each scored a victory over each other for the IWC Insane title. But soon after CWF closed its doors, a new company started, PWF, it had one show, but a World champ was crowned on that show. A tournament was held where Twister and I met in the finals where I beat him. As far as I can remember, that was the last time Twister and I faced off in the squared Circle.
Now that you know our past, here’s where the Money comes into place. You see, as a business man, money is what keeps a business going. Without Money, and no money coming in, then the business fails, and APW is far from failing because greatness and money making matches just oozes from this company. And with us having quite the history back in the day, and going one on one once again, anyone who’s followed us, hell, everyone who’s watched us will pay money to come see us fight. And who wouldn’t want to see me in a match, the opportunity to see the boss get his ass kicked. Sure I’m a dick at times, but I do care about the fans….well…their money. But that’s besides the point.
Twister, I’m not in this match to win. I could care less if I win or lose. I have nothing to lose in this match and lots of money to gain. But don’t think Twister, just because I don’t care if I win or lose, that I’ll be taking a step back in my ring abilities. Don’t think that I’ll just lie down and lets you walk all over me. Because I still have a reputation and a legacy to withhold, and after Overdrive is said and done Twister, people will sit back and remember why I was a 13 time world champion. Why I am Mr. Match of the Night. And believe me; I still got what it takes to be the match of the night
And I know your may be in favor of winning Twister considering you’ve been more active in the ring the past year than I have, but that’s ok, because I’m the boss, and what I say goes and I have final say. So as I see it, I have the upper hand going into this match. But I don’t want you to worry Twister, because I’m not going to beat the bloody hell out of you. Because I need you to make me money at November Reign and future shows. I take you out and that’s business suicide considering your Canadian and we gather a lot of revenue from Canada because of you.
This Monday Twister, we will relive the magic that we shared in the ring five plus years ago. We will give the fans something to talk about after the show is done. Bring you’re a game Twister, because I’m banning your tag partner, Michael Lively from ringside. Its going to be one on one Twister. Two storms collide one last time. And Twister, I’m going to reek destruction on you just like Hurricane Ike reeked destruction on Texas. Just like 5 years ago Twister, I will not fear Twisters Rage and maybe once and for all, you will fear….THE HURRICANE
