Backstage at an APW Event, you see the camera opening the scene up with Jason Royce and The Hardcore Kid talking to each other and then Matt Metal walks into the picture.
Metal: Hey guys!
The Hardcore Kid extents his hand and shakes Metal’s hand, then Jason does too.
Metal: You guys ready for Overdrive.
THK: I just want to say that its an honor to be in the same ring as you, and to be your partner in your fight against a Blackwell.
Jason: The three of us are going to destroy our opponent on Monday.
Metal: I have to run, but I just wanted to say hey, and to tell you guys to stay focused for Overdrive and Aftershock. Its matches like this that shows everyone just what your made of.
THK: Thanks Matt.
Metal walks away as the Kid goes back to talking with Jason.
THK: Overdrive on Monday is one of the biggest nights in APW Jason.
Jason: I know, we get to team up with Matt Metal. I’ve known Metal for a long time and the guy is Awesome, we just need to get his head focused and ready to unleash Metalmania on our opponents this Monday.
THK: I’m pumped for it. I’ve heard so many thing about Metal and what he’s done in the past that our chances of winning are looking good.
Jason: They should, we’re fighting two Blackwell’s and Fyre Angel.
THK: You know, Trevor and I go way back to the very first match in APW. Back at New Years Retribution and back then, I was what people on the internet call, a noob. And back then, I was all about being Hardcore. I was all about hurting people, but as I sat back over the last few months and took a look at myself and the competition here, I realized, there’s a lot more to this business than being hardcore. So that when I started studying guys like The Twisters, The Michael Lively’s and I noticed one thing about the three of them. They are winners. Twister, the World Champion, Lively, The Overdrive champs for like four months now. As I studied them in the ring, I’ve developed my own sense of Direction. My own cravings and desire and that’s to be better everyone my music hits and I walk down to that ring. You know Jason, We’re tag team champions, and even thought we aren’t defending our titles at Overdrive, we still need to be at the top of our game each and every night, because if not, then we are doomed. We are the Tag Champions, and many people don’t think we should be, which is fine, but it’s those people that lights the fire under my ass that makes me want to prove them wrong.
Jason: Me too man.
THK: Trevor Blackwell, Fyre Angel and Kristina Blackwell, they all probably hang out together, smoking their bongs, drinking their alcohol and making jokes about how you and I suck and what not. But you know what, before, I used to let that kind of stuff bother me, but not anymore because we’ve proved our selves. We’ve have gold around our waste to show the world that we are good at what we do. Fyre Angel can come back from here suspension, Kristina and Trevor can come back from where ever they been, but the time they been gone, we’ve been getting better. The time the we’re away, we stuck together and helped get APW where it is today and Monday on Overdrive, they think that their getting the Hardcore Kid and Jason Royce of six months ago. We’ll, if they think that, they are going to be in for one hell of a surprise. And our partner, Matt Metal, a living legend. The guy has won more world titles than everyone else in this match put together. We couldn’t have gotten a better partner.
Jason: Matt Metal, when he’s on a roll, there’s no stopping the Nu Metal on the Block.
THK: And we all know Trevor is going to bring his Singapore Stick to the ring for this match.
Jason: The guy never leaves home without it.
THK: And if I have to, I’ll beat him senseless with it. Its no secret that I don’t like the Blackwell’s. We’ve sent Tony packing for the time being. Two weeks ago we showed Kristina that Hardcore Ice means business, and Monday Night we beat some respect out of Trevor Blackwell. You and I Jason are the only two guys left who’s been with APW since day one and are still here without taking a break, that alone should be respected. But we’ve been nothing but a joke in his eyes, but all that is going to change after Monday Night when he finally realizes that times has changed. This isn’t the APW of when it first started. This isn’t the Trevor Blackwell show anymore. Trevor Blackwell Means nothing anymore. Once upon a time, maybe he was the most dominate person in APW, But its back of the line for him. Just because he left for a few months, comes back and we’re suppose to worship him. Before he vanished, he was being humiliated by Kenny Lambardo and President Jeff at Test for the Best.
Jason: It was great to see though
THK: I may not be better than Trevor. I may not be more Hardcore than him, but one thing I do know is that Matt Metal is going to rip Trevor apart and then finish him off at Aftershock. As for Kristina, Fyre Angel, Overdrive is going to be a sneak peak of what’s in store for those two at Aftershock. They should consider themselves lucky to get another title shot and consider themselves even luckier if they make it to Aftershock.
Jason: They’d be lucky if they made it out of Overdrive.
THK: Monday Night, We main event Overdrive with Matt Metal by our side, and a guy like Metal, he’s the kind of wrestler I respect and I will do whatever I can to make this guy proud to be our partner and do what I have to do to help him win. We’re in this together, All for one and one for all. Hardcore Ice and Matt Metal teaming up, who would have thought.
Jason: Trevor, Kristina and Blackwell are gonna go on one hell of a ride.
THK: One hell of a ride STRIGHT TO HELL!
