Shockwave begins with an intro video



Once the video ends pyro shoots through out the arena and the cameras go to tonight’s commentators, Darren Harvey and Johnny Chase.

Chase: WELCOME TO SHOCKWAVE!

Harvey: I’m Darren Harvey along side Johnny Chase and tonight we end our western Canada tour here in Vancouver with Shockwave.

Chase: The wait is finally over and what a night tonight is expected to be.

Harvey: Some of the key matches here tonight. Michael Lively defends the Overdrive title against Jake Ruby.

Chase: Also a Hardcore Cage match. Hardcore Ice defends their tag titles against Sabur and Tony Blackwell. Hardcore Ice has been on a roll lately, will it be the end of the road for them tonight?

Harvey: Also two legends fight, Matt Metal takes on President Hurricane Jeff.

Chase: A lot of history between these two, and what we see between these two over the past month, this match I know won’t disappoint.

Harvey: And our main event. We will see Doctor Phate defend the title against Xtreme Champion Twister.

Chase: Can Twister walk out tonight in his home country a double champion.

Harvey: Seven matches scheduled for tonight, so lets not waste any more time and get to the ring for our opening contest.

The camera zooms in on the ring where Tony Ferrari is standing.

Tony: The following contest……

The titantron flickers as a harsh burst of static is heard through the speakers.

Harvey: What’s happening?

The scene that we take in is that of STJ sitting at a table, a set of playing cards in front of her in what looks to be the latter stages of a game of solitaire, the stage in which cards are placed onto their final piles. Looking at the table, it is the Queens that Tara is slowly placing onto their suits. She looks up at the camera for a moment, the Queen of Hearts between her index and middle fingers. She looks back down at the game and places the Queens.

The silence is infectious and it spreads throughout the crowd as Tara places three of the Kings, the Diamonds, the Clubs, the Hearts...and then she holds the Spades as she looks up at the camera once more.

STJ: Life, it’s like solitaire. You can think a couple of steps ahead, lay out your business in neat order as you try to sort into order the contrasting reds and blacks that life throws your way. Then just as you think that you have everything in order, all straightened out...

ThAt’S wHeN yOu ArE vUlNeRaBlE.

Tara places the King onto its pile and takes each pile one at a time, straightening them out before setting them down. Diamonds, Clubs, Hearts, Spades. She sits still for a moment and then springs from her chair, throwing the table into the corner of the room and the cards into disarray. She kicks the table, splintering a leg from the base.

STJ: Just as everything is in order, a cold wind blows through and blasts your work into sweet oblivion. So, Jeff, just how ordered is your life? Just how in place are your affairs? Are you stuck in a rut, trying to find the card you need, or are you near an end? Kaos is everywhere, Jeff, there is always a balance, a fine balance, and just when the scales seem about to tip, they spin out of control in the other direction. I am that force of Kaos, Jeff...but enough waxing lyrical. I put laid out your options last week, Jeff, I demanded an answer, I have not received one. Do I have your attention yet, Jeff? I want my answer, I demand it. You have until an unspecified time tonight to give it to me. A couple of words, that is all. I could be anywhere, Jeff, I have been everywhere and nowhere for the past month, I have had you looking around corners, to the shadows, tonight I step out of them. Tonight, Fate, Kaos and Destiny mix into one big mixing pot and the results, I guarantee, will be so explosive that the Shockwaves will never die away. Tick...Tock, time waits for no man and yours is nearly up. I do not bluff, Jeff...I’d set this place alight just to watch it burn.

Tara throws the table leg into the camera and the feed cuts into static.

Harvey: She scares me. But lets try to go to the ring again for our first match

Chase: The first match of the night is going to be hot, Darren, I mean look at who is in it!

Harvey: ‘Kalayla Fyre Angel’ Mitchell, Kristina Blackwell, Dita Von Amora and Ignacio Ricardo in Fatal Fourway action.

Chase: No one in this match can be underestimated. Ignacio might be in the ring with three ladies, but we don’t hire girls for their looks in the APW.

Harvey: There is a simple reason we do not have a separate female roster nor any cute names for them like Divas or Knockouts and Ignacio will find out just why that is if he takes this match lightly.

And speak of the devil, Gerardo’s Rico Sauvé pulses down the PA and as images of Iggy are shown on the tron. The man himself bursts from out the curtain, tequila bottle in hand, and holds the bottle in the air as he taunts the fans.

Tony: The following is a Fatal Fourway match, the first wrestler to score a pin or submission shall be the winner. First introducing, hailing from Phoenix, Arizona and weighing in at two hundred and twenty three pounds, Ignacio Ricardo!

Iggy walks down the ramp, tagging hands with his free hand as he makes his way to the ring with a very pro-Iggy reaction coming from the fans. He jumps onto the apron and climbs the ropes, showing the bottle to the fans before draining it, swallowing the worm along with the remains of the tequila. He takes off his shirt and gets the general easy pop by throwing that to a fan in the crowd.

Erotica by Madonna starts to pulse away and a spotlight shines down into the back of the entrance ramp. The curtains part and Dita struts out into the light.

Tony: Hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada and weighing in at one hundred and twenty five pounds, she is The Black Rose, Dita Von Amora!

Treating the ramp like a catwalk, Dita struts down it in perfect timing to the music. Cameras flash all around her as she glides up the ring steps, poses at the top and then climbs into the ring. She makes the round of the turnbuckles posing at each before heading to the centre of the ring and blowing a kiss to the crowd.

Erotica gives way to Perfect Circle’s Counting Bodies Like Sheep To the Rhythm of the War Drums and pyro shoots upwards near the entrance. Emerging from the flames, we soon see, barely dressed and barely sane, Kristina Blackwell and the fans give the most heated response that they have given a star so far.

Tony: Calling home New York and tipping the scales at one hundred and forty pounds, she is the Hardcore Princess, Kristina Blackwell!

Kristina struts down the ramp, this time exaggerating it a little obviously trying to play headgames early with Dita. She pauses in her stride to rub her hands down the chests of a few adolescent boys and middle aged men, making their nights before the first bell has even been rung. She slides into the ring, laughing with the adrenaline that comes before any match.

The lights dim and a wall of fireworks shoot up in front of the entrance, as if we haven’t seen enough pyro already. Thoughtless by Evanescence blasts away and, twirling ninja sais and giving the fans a benefit of a sick smirk, Kalayla strides through the dying down fireworks.

Tony: And finally, from Dallas, Texas and weighing in at one hundred and thirty two pounds, the Fyre Angel, Kalayla Mitchell!

She walks down the ramp and pauses at the apron. She reaches up and grabs the middle rope, pulling herself up onto the ring. She turns towards the fans and smirks towards them before kicking her legs up and backflipping into the ring...only to get jumped by Kristina! Kristina lights Kalayla up with right hand after right hand as the ref rings for the bell and this one is underway.

Fyre Angel Vs Kristina Blackwell Vs Ignacio Ricardo Vs Dita Von Amora


Harvey: Now these two have history, both former Unholy Alliance and both former RoK back in their WWC days and there is no love lost between them whatsoever.

Kalayla breaks through the barrage of rights and whips Kristina into the ropes, Kalayla ducks her head early but Iggy saves her there hitting Kristina with a thunderous spear. Kalayla has no time to rest, however as Dita hits her with a Monkey flip. Kalayla rolls out of the ring on the opposite side of Kristina who had rolled away from Iggy. Iggy grabs a handful of Dita’s hair and tosses her out of the ring, leaving him alone for the moment. The women stalk the outside of the ring like predators stalking their prey. Iggy stomps towards and misses Dita as she tries to get in but Kalayla and Fyre enter on other sides of the ring. Iggy shrugs his shoulders and sits on a corner, inviting Dita in as he puts a foot on the middle rope.

Dita declines that invitation and walks around to slide in and now we have four people circling, looking for a way in. Dita runs towards Kristina and takes her down with another Mon key flip, Kalayla takes Dita down with a suplex, as she stands Iggy looks for a German Suplex but she flips through and aims a big boot at Dita who matrixes under it. Iggy and Kristina push her into the ropes and whips her across the ring, she flies back at them and rolls under a clothesline only to get thrown from the ring with a hairtoss courtesy of Kalayla. Kalayla backs Kristina into a corner and burns her with a knife edge chop, Kristina chops right back, Fyre chops again for good measure but it seems that she forgot about Iggy who whips her heavily into the opposite corner. He charges towards Dita and knocks her off of the apron, causing her to hit the barrier head first, a clothesline sees off Fyre and then attempts a Tornado DDT on Kristina but she throws him off and kicks him down low.

Chase: Sometimes being the only man in a match can SUCK.

Kristina smirks sadistically as Iggy falls to his knees and she slaps him in the face. Iggy looks to strike back but Kristina uses the momentum to take him down with a spinning armbar. She stands and gets taken down with a Clothesline of the From Hell variety. Kalayla hits the ropes behind Kristina as she stands and drops her with a Bulldog. She kicks Iggy in the gut as he stands and drops him with a DDT, she pins,

Chase: Its one fall to the finish, so you can lose without even being pinned in this match

She hits the ropes and takes Kalayla down with a Lou Thesz Press before ramming right hand after right hand into her skull. She holds her hands up, posing to the fans as she spies Kristina making her feet and she bounds towards her, spinning into a Headscissors Takedown. The Hardcore Princess is quickly to her feet and walks into a kick to the gut that leaves her vulnerable to a nasty Twist of Fate. Kristina bounces and rolls onto her back, Dita gets into her face but Iggy drags her to her feet and she gets nailed with a suplex, Iggy rolls through, suplex, rolls through again and there it is folks, the Iggy Trio.

Harvey: Ignacio takes Dita down with a perfect trifecta.

Kalayla runs towards Iggy but is taken down courtesy of a Tilt a whirl backbreaker, he stands and sees Kristina up top, Molly Go Round, the pin,

Broken by Iggy, he sets up, Iggy’s Bite! Kalayla spasms on the mat but Iggy can’t capitalise as he is wiped out with a Corkscrew Hurricanrana, Kristina heads up top, Bittersweet Catastrophe! She pins,

Dita just makes the save, she is first to her feet and she kicks Kristina in the gut and there it is, Dominatrix’s Kiss! Kristina bounces back but Dita is wiped out from Kalayla’s earlier Solar Flare. She stands staggered as Iggy runs towards her, looking for a Tornado DDT, Dita moves out of the way, the ref gets wiped out in the corner. Iggy takes advantage and slides out of the ring, he digs in under and comes out with a chair. He whacks it into the ring post and the fans roar at Iggy just being Iggy.

Chase: The fans are loving Iggy here tonight

Iggy slides into the ring, wham! There goes Dita, Kristina charges and gets marmilised with the chair, Kalayla charges him and a third swing and Iggy is batting at a thousand. Kristina stumbles back to her feet, Iggy stalks her and hits his second Iggy’s Bite of the night, he shakes the ref,

Chase: Welcome back folks.

Harvey: Overdrive has started with a bang, so let’s keep going with our next match up.


Tony Ferrari: First hailing from Santa Monica California weighing in at two hundred pounds even, standing five foot eleven inches tall....DR. WACKOOO....

The lights go out and pitch black has filled the entire arena. The Instrumental of Pop Goes The Weasel begins to play and then quickly turns into the hard hitting sounds of Toxicity. The light rise and strobe through out the arena presenting an auro of insanity. Dr. Wacko runs out from the curtain with his arms outstretched and head pointed upward. He spins around like a helicopter stopping in the center of the stage, attempts an I am JESUS pose.

Chase: Is he trying a Lively pose...

Harvey: Well technically it was a Kaos pose adapted into a Lively pose now borrowed and obviously a Dr. Wacko pose now.

Wacko wearing his Michael Lively shirt rips it off like Hulk Hogan, and heads to the ring with his head tilting back and forth creeping out the fans in the aisle. He notices a young fan holding a miniature version of the Overdrive championship. Wacko snatches it out of the Childs hand, then scampers to the ring, rolls under the bottom rope, standing tall holding the toy title belt in the air like Lively then folds it up, and places it at the corner of the ring under the turnbuckles. He then has a seat against the ropes holding his wrist rocking back and forth waiting for his opponent. Tony Ferrari looks at the Dr. a little freaked out, and then begins his next announcement.

Tony Ferrari: Hailing from Carson City Nevada... Standing five foot nine inches tall and weighing in at one hundred eighty nine pounds DANGEROUS STEVE HAWKENS....

The opening riffs of “nobody” plays over the speakers. At the 1:05 mark Hawken runs out of the curtain and charges to the ring. Jumps to the apron, straddles the middle rope to enter the ring when up like a bolt of lightning Dr. Wacko leaps up charges toward his opponent hit him with a knee to the side sending Hawkens to the floor in pain. And the ref calls for the bell to start this match.

Wacko exits and begins to stomp his opponent repeatedly, then attempt another I Am JESUS pose for the crowd who just boo's him and his attempt.

Chase: Yeah imitating Lively won't earn you a single fan in APW

Harvey: Yeah he a real hated man.

Wacko picks up Steve by his hair and rolls him into the ring. He then climbs up to the apron, the climbs the ring post to the top. He jumps off catching the now staggered Hawkens with an axe handle smash to the head. The Dr. then drops down with a headlock, and wrenches it a few times for Hawkens. Steves face shows pain and his voice grunts it out as well. Wacko stands leaps into the air landing on top of Hawkens with a sloppy splash, then stands and repeats again only to miss.

Chase: Hawkens out of the way

Harvey: Maybe he's mounting an offense.

Hawkens kicks Wacko in the midsection, then hooks the head, dropping the dr. face first to the mat with a DDT. Hawkens stands leaps up with a standing moonsault atop the downed Dr. Hawkens stands up Wacko, then assaults him with a few legs kicks, then a spinning backfist, he hits the ropes then comes right at Wacko with a running palm thrust dropping the Lively lover to the mat.

Chase: That was interesting

Harvey: Uh yeah...a palm thrust...maybe he'll try a judo throw next...

Chase: Maybe a Crane...I love the Miagi Crane...

Harvey: Shut Up...

Steve jumps up and crashes down with a leg drop, the body of wacko flops in pain. Hawkens drops down hooks the leg....

Hawkens stands as does Wacko. Steve Hawkens hits the ropes running back at his opponent with a clothesline, Wacko ducks under then retaliates with a stiff boot to the midsection of Steve in the rebound. Wacko tucks the mans head between his legs, then signals to the crowd...

Chase: He's going for a flipping pile driver like Lively...I think he calls this the Dr.'s Bite

Wacko jumps up and over...

Harvey: Ohh he messed it up...Looks more like a sunset flip...into a wait..wait..

Wacko struggles to pulls down Hawkens.

Chase: Got in a pin...

Both men up to their feet, and Wacko kicks his opponent right in the jewels, then drops to his knees following it up with a Rick Flair low blow uppercut to the junk. Steve topples over sideways while Dr. Wacko is being talked to by the ref. Paying it no mind the crazy Doc grabs the legs of his opponent leaps into the air, the crashes down with a head butt to the junk. The ref enraged at Wacko, and the two argue

Chase: Looked like it was the mid-section to me.

Harvey: Are you blind?

Chase: Well actually I wasn't looking, there is a pretty hot chick in the third row over there.

Harvey: Oooh she is hot..

Wacko goes back to his opponent, and is rolled up in a small package

Wacko up, being pelted in the face with a right hand, then his chest lit up with a stiff chop. Hawkens hooks both arms of the Doc under his for a double arm suplex...but Wacko quickly clamps his jaws down on the nose of Hawkens.

Chase: He's knawing on him like rat...

Harvey: I'm speechless

Wacko then lets goes of his bite, and follows it up with a violent head butt right into the nose of Steven Hawkens. Blood splatters everywhere...the ref jumps back cringing, Hawkens falls back holding his face, screaming in pain, eyes watered up.

Chase: Holy.....

Harvey: CRAP!!!!

Wacko then hooks the legs up of Hawkens putting him in the Age of Reason (Sharpshooter) Hawkens in pain from his apparent broken nose, and the move he is trapped in...is forced to tap out...

Winner: Dr. Wacko

Chase: Is it me or was that the sloppiest version of the Sharpshooter I have ever seen

Harvey: Well truthfully that was the sloppiest wrestling style I have ever seen, but no matter how sloppy it was effective.

Chase: indeed. Impressive debut win here for Wacko. Hawkens just can’t seem to get out of his slump.

We go to a commercial for next Month’s events taking place in California.

Chase: Shockwave has been great so far and it’s about to get better.

Harvey: Up next we have Streets Wilson taking on Austin Daniels.

Chase: Daniels has been in a slump since losing the Xtreme Title to Twister, lets see if he can rebound here tonight!

Release Yo Delf by Method Man his the PA and Streets Wilson walks out through the curtain

Tony: The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Making his way to the ring first, STREETS WILSON!

Streets gets into the ring and waits for his opponent as The lights go out in the arena. Hillbilly Deluxe by Brooks and Dunn hits the soundsystem as a redlight shows the entrance way has a large ACE of Spades card blocking the way. The card then explodes showing the figure of the Austin Daniels. The Ace then walks out as the walkway is then lit up red as he makes his way to the ring.

Tony: And his opponent, weighing in at 245 pounds, AUSTIN DANIELS

The ACE walks up the stairs, and out onto the apron. As he holds the tops rope as he drags his feet across the apron as if cleaning off his feet before entering the ring. He slides in between the middle and top rope, enters the ring and rapidly hits the center of the ring throwing a crufix pose, as red flames explode behind him exposing just his silouette untill they die down.

Streets Wilson Vs Austin Daniels


Both guys lock up in the center of the ring. Streets grabs Daniels arm and twist it. Streets gives an elbow across the arm and twist it again. Daniels then does a forward roll and then a nip up and then twist Streets arm and throws him into the ropes. Streets comes back and both guys go for a shoulder block but Streets goes down. Daniels bounces off the ropes and Streets goes on his stomach, expecting Daniels to jump over him, but Daniels drops a elbow on Streets back. Daniels gets up and starts stomping on the back of Streets. Streets tries to get up, but Daniels picks Streets up from behind and gives him a side belly to back suplex and goes for the cover

Daniels picks Wilson up and snap suplexes him and then drops a leg drop across his throat and the ref counts

kick out. Daniels lifts Wilson to his feet and Daniels pushes Streets to the corner and gives him a chop that echo’s through the arena. Daniels throws Streets into the opposite corner, but Streets reverses it and The Ace hits the corner hard. Streets runs at Daniels, but Daniels gets a foot up into Wilsons face. Streets stumbles back a bit as Daniels jumps up to the second rope and dives off with a clothesline, but as Daniels is coming down, Streets gives Daniels a superkick kick right in the jaw of Daniels. Daniels is holding his Jaw and Streets hooks the leg.

Harvey: That was a close one.

Chase: Streets almost pulled out the victory right there.

Streets picks Daniels up and takes him right back down with a Russian leg sweep. Streets then stands over Daniels and stomps on Daniels face. Daniels holds his face and Streets stomps of Daniels face again. Streets then does that move again but Daniels gets his hands up and catches the stomp. Daniels then elbows Streets other leg and takes Streets down. Streets quickly gets up and Daniels drop kicks Streets in the knee. Streets goes down to one knee and then Daniels takes Streets down with a spinning heel kick and covers.

Kick Out. Daniels pulls Streets up and Streets quickly unleashes the Fury of the streets, a Series of quick and powerful rights and lefts to the body followed by a devastating knife edge chop to the esophagus. Daniels goes down and Streets then starts choking Daniels. Streets picks Daniels up, throws him into the ropes and Streets goes for a side walk slam, but Daniels turns it into a spinning Head scissor.

Chase: Nice counter by Daniels

Harvey: I don’t think anyone expect him to do that

Daniels waits for Streets to get up and gives him an arm drag, and then another. Streets gets to his feet and Daniels takes him down with a drop kick. Streets gets up, Daniels kicks him and goes for a Tornado DDT, but while in the hair, Streets puts Daniels feet back on the ground and gives Daniels a northern lights suplex.

.kick out. Streets picks Daniels up and throws him to the corner. Streets kicks Daniels then starts driving his shoulder into Daniels stomach. Streets lifts Daniels up and sets him up on the top rope. Streets climbs up and hooks Daniels up for a superplex, but Daniels punches Streets in the ribs and pushes him off the top rope. Streets hits the mat hard, and Daniels climbs to the top, and turns to his back is towards the ring. Daniels then goes for a Corkscrew body press, but at the last second, Streets rolls out of the way and Daniels hits the mat hard.

Chase: Austin Daniels just went for it all and came out with nothing.

Harvey: This could cost him the match.

Both guys are out and the ref starts counting. 1…2…3….4…5…6…7….8….Daniels gets to her feet then Streets does. Streets goes for a punch, but Daniels blocks it and comes back with punches of his own. Daniels throws Streets off the ropes and gives him a back body drop. Daniels then takes Streets down with a clothesline. Streets gets back up and Daniels gives streets the Lightning spiral. Streets lands on the back of his head and Daniels covers

Daniels climbs to the top rope. Streets get to his feet and Daniels comes flying off the top rope with a missile drop kick.

Harvey: So close for Daniels

Daniels then drags Streets close to the corner and then climbs to the top rope. he signals for the Four Aces, but Streets pushes the ref with his foot into the ropes and Daniels falls on the top rope. Daniels falls backwards off the top rope, landing on the back of his head. Streets grabs Daniels and drops him with the Vicious DDT

Chase: Up next is a match that is five years in the making

Harvey: Matt Metal and Hurricane Jeff to go at it.

We cut to a Hype video featuring Hurricane Jeff and Matt Metal

[President Jeff]

Chase: Here we go.

Harvey: Five years in the making.

Chase: This is gonna be good.

The camera pans around the arena with some little chants of Metal heard before…

"You can't Stop….Nu Metal….On the Block."

Suddenly the arena explodes with a huge wave of noise, everybody then rises to their feet and all giving one load standing ovation. Then on the stage the curtain is thrown back and walking out is Matt Metal, with his "I Still Got It" T-Shirt on and a pair of baggy jeans and wrestling boots. Metal then stomps out onto the stage as "Come with me" by P Diddy plays over the P.A system. Metal then walks out and then stand on the ramp looking around as the audience gives out a huge cheer! Metal just smirks and then slowly starts to walk to the ring as the ring announce her job.

Tony:Ladies and Gentleman, The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Surrey England, weighing 260lbs, the Modern Living Legend….Matt Metal!"

Metal just does his usual smirk and then smiles before then slaps his chest before getting to the ring and just climbing up the step and sliding under the top rope to the ring. Metal then gets to the ring and then climbs in and then stands in his position which is where the game does his water spit pose, but inside the ring, poses by raising both hands in the air and holding his index finger out. Upon doing this blue pyro's similar to Kane's, fire up from all four corners of the ring

Harvey: Never in a million years did I ever expect to see these two fight one on one again.

Chase: We’re all about to witness history here tonight

Hurricane Jeff then goes to pose on the top turnbuckle but Metal gets in his way. Jeff and Metal then lock eyes.

LEGENDS MATCH
"President" Hurricane Jeff Vs Matt Metal

Hurricane Jeff then takes a step back before slapping Metal across his face. Metal then smiles and slaps Jeff.

Chase: You can see the hatred in both their eyes!

Then Jeff takes down Metal with a nasty spear and then jumps on him nailing a number of right hands. Metal then comes back with right hands on his own and then the two men brawl across the ring. Jeff then gets up and then Metal flips up to a blast of "you still got it chants!".

Harvey: Indeed they still do have it.

Chase: Things are just getting started here.

The two men then lock up and Jeff backs Metal in the corner and then gives him a number of right hands. Metal then picks Jeff up and then backs him into the corner and then hits him with huge right hands. Jeff then gets a kick to the mid section and then throws Metal back against the turnbuckle and then continues to stomp on him with huge big boots. Jeff then knocks Metal to the ring mat and then the ref pushes him away. Jeff then does a superhero pose before turning around and giving the fans the finger, which gets him some heat!

Harvey: That’s a good way to treat the people who support your product.

Metal starts pulling himself up and gets to one knee before Jeff gets a big knee to the face and Metal head is smashed against the bottom turnbuckle. Jeff then picks Metal up and gives him a snap-mare and Kicks him in the back before jumping over him and then nailing him with a baseball slide knocking Metal to the floor. Jeff then goes for the cover and hooks the near leg

Metal is able to kick out. Jeff then picks up Metal and then whips him off the ropes and then jump up and then nails a huge close line. Jeff then gets a second cover

but once again Metal gets his right should up before the count of three.

Harvey: Well we know both these men can wrestle, they have proven that for years and years, but tonight I think its about who knows how to win and at what cost!

Chase: Wadda you mean chief?

Harvey: Trust me, there's going out to be the better man, and going out to win, both these men are no strangers to breaking the rules, and I'd expect chaos to erupt at the moment!

Metal then signals for a test of strength, and Jeff agrees. Both men lock up one hand and just as they go for the other hand, Jeff kicks Metal in the gut and gets a headlock in. Jeff then spins round out of the headlock and into a hammer-lock. Jeff then drops to his knees and trips Metal, then driver to his head and puts in a Steamboat like headlock. Metal rises and gets a few elbows to Jeff’s chest, then pushes Jeff off the ropes. Metal then hits a hard shoulder tackle, then bounces of the ropes only for Hurricane Jeff to stay down then jump over Jeff. Metal then bounces of for a third time and Jeff nails and drop toe hold. Jeff then goes for the headlock again and locks it in. Matt again gets to his knees, reaches under Jeff’s grip and put in a hammer-lock of his own! Matt then dives over and gets the same headlock in on Jeff as Jeff had done before. Jeff then gets a few elbows to the ribs and pushes Metal of the rope and hit a close line and then drops an elbow to Metal's Head. Hurricane Jeff then starts stomping away on Matt Metal, repeatedly hitting him with stomp after stomp.

Chase: Now we got a match, we got a fight, the wrestlings over; it’s a strait out war!

Harvey: Remember, this is only Metal's 2nd one on one match since he hurt his neck 3 years ago, that should be nothing more than a freaking target to Hurricane Jeff!

Jeff then picks up Metal and then twists his arm and then gets a hammer lock in. Jeff then gives Metal an arm bar take down and Metal holds his arm in pain. Jeff then stomps on his arm and Metal then rolls out of the ring, HJ then climbs out and then grabs Metals arm and whips him into the ringside barrier, with his bad shoulder hitting it first.

Chase: The ref needs to get these two back in the ring!

Metal then holds his shoulder and Jeff then grabs Metals arm, jumps on the ring apron and then hit’s a super arm bar takedown on to the outside. Jeff then gets up and walks over to the corner of the ring and picks up the top half of the steel steps and drops it on the floor. Jeff then lays Metal arm on the lower half of the steps after ramming his head into it. Jeff then picks up the steel steps and goes to drop it on Metal’s arm but Metal moves his arm and then Jeff hits steel on steel.

Harvey: Thank god Metal moved!

Metal then jump up on the steel steps and plants Hurricane Jeff with a DDT on and ring steps.

Chase: Great move out of no where by Matt Metal!

Metal then rolls in the ring and then try's to get the blood flowing in his arm. He then shakes it and waits for Jeff to get back in the ring. Jeff then gets in the ring and Metal waits behind him and then give him a close line from behind. Metal then stomps on his neck and then puts all his weight on his head uses the ropes to force it. Metal then picks up Jeff and gives him a neck breaker and goes for the cover

Kick out! Jeff then rolls on his front and holds his neck. Metal then lifts Jeff up for a back breaker and at the last seconded moves his knees so Jeff’s neck lands right on his knee. Jeff then rolls around screaming in pain. Metal then takes a step back and raises his hand and does a mock superhero pose, rubbing it in on Jeff’s behalf!

Harvey: Well HJ was going to hurt Metal's Arm, stop him hitting the Nu Metal, and we know that just ends the match then and there, but Metal hurting HJ's neck?

Chase: It evens the score, makes this fair I guess?

Harvey: These are two of the most technically gifted Athletes in this business; nobody can wrestle better than Matt Metal or our boss Hurricane Jeff!

Metal then walks over to Jeff and then puts him in a rear-chin lock and holds him there, until Jeff is able to power out of the move, turn to Matt Metal, kick him in the gut and land a huge right hand. Jeff then hits another but then the third is blocked by Metal, who then hits one back of his own, then another, and another and before long Jeff is pushed back against the ropes. Metal then whips him off the ropes and then waits before then kicking him in the butt as he bounces off, then giving Jeff and old school Piledriver! Metal then looks at the ref who then slides in and makes the count.

Chase: Once upon a time, it would have been over right there!

Metal then gets up and turn's to the audience who has really enjoyed the match to this point. Metal then gets up and walk's to the side of the ring, before then waiting for Jeff to move. Jeff then roll's on his front, holds the back of his neck before then slowly using the ropes to help his body up, Metal then waits and then charges at Jeff, but he is able to backdrop Metal over the ropes and to the floor below the ring, big bump for somebody that hasn't wrestled regularly for 3 years!

Harvey: Metal may be really hurt here.

Metal is laid out on the floor of ring, a little winded and Jeff gets up and then drags Metal up before then slapping him across his face. Metal staggers back and Jeff gives him and the fans the finger again! Jeff takes Metal over to the ring pose and throw's his face into it. Metal face is bounced of the ring post and he lands out on the floor by the announcer’s tables. Jeff then walk's over to one of the tables and rip's off the covering and TV monitors. Jeff then grabs Metal and pull's him up on the table and looks around at the audience.

Harvey: This is not a no-d/q match!

Chase: This isn't just an ordinary match!

Jeff then hooks Metal’s leg up and looks as if he is going to hit the HurraDriver to Matt Metal, but the ref has other ideas. The ref gets up and stands on the table, telling Hurricane Jeff to stop. Jeff then lets Metal fall down on the table before then looking at the ref and then with one hand pushing him back so that he falls from one table to another, but he doesn't break the table, he just bounces of it and lands in the lap of the Spanish announcers!

Chase: I’m glad that’s not us over there.

Jeff then smiles and gets booed a little, before then going to grab Matt Metal, who wakes up and grabs HJ, and plants him with the biggest and for the first time in APW history, the Nu Metal! Jeff's head is left smashed against the announcers table and it implodes around him, both men are left on the floor with bits of table around then, to the sounds of Holy Shit throughout the arena!

Harvey: There is now no ref for this match, the boss I guess fired him!

Chase: This is unreal, bits of bodies and table all around our feet!

Harvey : And listen to these fans, those chants are my sentiments precisely!

Chase: What a shockwave that made, no pun intended!

Metal is the first to stir, and forces himself up to one leg and then is able to stand up, he looks down at Hurricane Jeff who is bleeding from ear to ear, the effects of the Nu Metal through the table. Metal then looks over and realizes that there is no ref, so he then goes over to the time keepers table and grabs a steel chair, and put it inside the ring. Metal then also gets under the ring, and pulls out a ladder, and he slides that into the ring. MM then grabs Jeff and throw's him in the ring.

Harvey: Metal I think wants to put an end to Hurricane Jeff once and for all.

Metal gets back into the ring and looks at Jeff who is bleeding from ear to ear, covering the ring were his head is, in blood. Metal then sets up the ladder as HJ slowly starts to move, or twitch; there isn't really a way to tell. Metal then climbs the ladder and gets to the top of it and the entire arena gets to its feet, waiting for Metal to strike, and he does, leaping off the top rope and landing a huge elbow drop on the lifeless body of Hurricane Jeff! Metal roll's on his back and is seen holding his neck for a moment before then getting back up. Metal stand's up and looks at HJ who is still out cold, Metal then sees the ref is still lifeless. Matt then roll's is shoulders and walk's over and reaches under the ring, and find's his great equalizer over the years, the sledge hammer!

Harvey: Sledge Hammer, this might be getting out of hand!

Chase: There is no ref, its all legal!

Metal goes to hit HJ in the back of his head, like Hurricane did to him on the last overdrive but with a chair. Jeff is in front of the steel chair, and uses it just swinging it over his head and cracking Metal in the face. Metal drop's the hammer and HJ climbs to his feet and plants Matt Metal with another chair shot, and this once bust's him open!

Harvey: This match is out of control now!

Metal is collapsed bleeding, and Jeff is left standing holding a broken chair. He drop's the chair and then picks up the sledge hammer and then has that same evil smile. President Jeff does his strut over to Matt Metal Vinne Mac style, and then places the hammer on the arena of Matt Metal's neck, he then swings back only to have another ref charge into the ring and get in their face, Jeff lets Metal drop to the floor and swings the hammer and smashes it into another ref!

Chase: Another ref just got knocked out!

Jeff picks up Metal and kicks him in the gut, and delivers a massive Eye of the Hurricane in the middle of the ring. Metal is out cold and Jeff covers, but the ref is out, Jeff took out the ref and cannot freaking believe it! Jeff looks over and then walk's over to the Spanish announcers table, were the original ref is, grabs him by the scruff of his neck and then drags him into the ring. Jeff then covers Metal again, but the ref does no respond. Jeff then looks around and then sees the ladder. He then climbs it with Matt Metal out of the mat. Jeff looks around, and then leaps of the ladder with a picture perfect moonsault, but to his horror on his landing Matt Metal has grabbed the chair, still laying on his back. There is a mighty crash and both men are rolling around the ring in pain.

Harvey: OH MY GOD!

Chase: WHAT A MATCH!

Both men then get to their feet, both weary from the fight that has just taken place, Metal is first to move, and hits Jeff across the face, Jeff reply's. By now the fans can't believe what is going to happen next, it really is squeaky bum time! Both men exchange rights and lefts before Jeff gets in kick to the gut, and goes for the eye of the hurricane, but Metal pushes him away and Jeff is sent bouncing off the ropes and back at Metal. Metal kicks him in the gut and goes for the Nu Metal, but it isn't good enough. Jeff is able to wriggle out and catch Metal in a backslide, but there is no ref so Jeff lets him go, Metal then goes for Jeff again but Jeff kicks Metal in the balls, soccer ball punt style!

Chase: We need a ref out here!

Metal falls to his knees, not before Jeff can hit the Eye of the Hurricane to Matt Metal. Metal collapses but Jeff doesn't cover. He then puts the broken chair over MM head so that it is wrapped around his neck! HJ then pull's out one of Metal's arms and gets in the crossface position, but instead of wrenching his head back, HJ just pull's the chair back. Metal's arm immediately moves out to try and get away from the hold, but can't. Then four ref's converge in the ring and pull Jeff off Matt Metal, with EMT's all looking over Metal. Jeff gets pissed and hits anybody and everybody that is moving inside the ring tell there is just him standing. Jeff then walk's over and covers Matt Metal, and original ref, the one that was pushed onto the Spanish announcers table, is alert enough to make the count!

Winner - Hurricane Jeff!

Harvey: Oh Jesus, The boss might have crippled Matt Metal for life, like he tried to do on Overdrive, but on this night, shockwave belongs to President Jeff, but it may have left Matt Metal's career in tatters!

Chase: Metal still has it, but the crippler crossface with the chair, that is unreal, unthinkable, but it looks to have stopped Matt Metal wrestling again, Hurricane Jeff has done it.!

Jeff gets up and has an evil smile on his face. He watches all the EMT's work on Matt Metal as he stands in the corner, his face a wash with tried blood, but Metal being put on a stretcher and slowly carried to the back. HJ watches Metal get carried up the ramp. Jeff rolls out of the ring, holding his head after the brutal match. He looks towards one of the cameras and suddenly, there is a red haze and he has a face full of red mist! Jeff reels back as the camera seems to back off from him and then we see the footage as it is rammed into his head with devastating impact causing static to take over the screen! We switch to another camera as the one that hit Jeff is dropped and we see Tara tearing off a baseball cap and wig before jumping onto Jeff and laying fists into his skull.

Harvey: What?!

Chase: Oh that was brilliant! She must have been there all night but who pays attention to the camera crew?

The security guards drag Tara off of Jeff and she spins, dishing out right hand after right hand before they manage to subdue her. Jeff stands to his feet, the blood welling from a cut on his forehead mixing with that of the mist burning his eyes and Tara breaks free of the guards, dropping Jeff with a devastating Tornado DDT as more security hit the scene. Tara sees them incoming, vaults the crowd barrier and runs for the hills.

Chase: Tara warned that if she didn’t get an answer tonight she would make an impact and she’s just picked the bones after a vicious match.

Harvey: You can bet that Jeff will have something to say about this. Tara wanted his attention and she may well yet learn the adage be careful what you wish for.

We go to a commercial for next month’s PPV titles “AFTERSHOCK”

[President Jeff]

As the program returns from the adverts, it shows Jason Ricochet standing in the back. He is in plain clothing not in the correct attire to wrestle which tells us he isn’t featuring physically tonight. Although he is soon joined by a regular face in the APW Cindy Shannon who has a huge grin from ear to ear as she slowly approaches. She stops next to Jason whose arms show through his tight, fitted t-shirt. She looks him up and down before taking a deep breathe and speaking.

Cindy: Well look who we have here APW fans! Its none other than the hottest new thing in wrestling

Cindy Pauses and casts a wink over at Jay who acknowledges by blowing a quick kiss

Cindy: Where was I? Oh yeah, so how does it feel to be in thee fastest growing wrestling federations in the world? Also what is your goal here in APW what do you wish to achieve?

Jay steps forward obviously bashfully, obviously not sue to the camera and press just yet. Before he answers he gives his hair a quick wipe of the hand as he leans up against the wall right next to Cindy.

Jason: I’ve come here for one reason and one reason only. That my love is to bash smash and crash my way through the roster on route to the top of this great federation. As far as my desires go gorgeous….well your number one on my wish list right this second

Jason licks his lips and smiles, almost forgetting about the camera as his confidence grows.

Jason: Back to the point though I wrestle because, I’m quick, strong, technical and most importantly ambitious. I posses what is key in any legend here in wrestling I not only have I got e right charisma but lets just say I always handle my business!

The sexual tension in the room grows as it becomes more like a chat rather than an interview. As they glance at one and other the cameras are soon forgotten as both have only one thought on their mind. The quickly run of down the corridor into a room; the camera follows but has the door slammed shut in its face. The door has a large star on it with the words Jason ‘the sensation’ Ricochet written on. By the time people watching have read the star The camera eventually realizes what they are up to as it scurries away. I guess we were all wrong……Jay would be in action tonight just not what we had in mind.

Harvey: Looks like we have a…Pornstar in APW now?

Chase: Looks like it.

Harvey: I still can’t believe what we just witness with Jeff and Metal.

Chase: We Will get an update on Metal’s condition as soon as we get it.

Harvey: At least Jeff didn’t get the last laugh as Spirit showed up and ruined his celebration.

Chase: I have a feeling that Jeff is going to make Spirit wish she didn’t do what she did.

Harvey: Jeff told Metal not to mess with him and look what happened. Lets get back to the ring.

Chase: And its now time for the Overdrive Title match.

Drums beat to a rhythm that inspires drama and anticipation in the audience. The lights die down, leaving the crowd in the dark, as a piercing trumpet rings out around the arena. A murmur spreads through the fans of APW. The drums pick up, as do the lights, and with a burst of fanfare and fireworks, The E-Starr Jake Ruby bursts onto the scene.

Tony: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and its for the APW Overdrive Championship. Making his way to the ring first is the challenger, weighing in at 210 pounds. He is the E-Starr. Jake Ruby!

With a spring in his step, he walks to both ends of the stage, raising his hands to the crowd who greet him with a mixture of boo's and hisses. He heads down the ramp, towards the ring, stopping at the base of the steps to look around the arena, shading his eyes to see the top-top tiers. Finally he cracks his fingers and heads up the stairs, steps through the ropes, and raises his hands up to the crowd once more, before slowly lowering them as he looks at the audience with daggers.

AFI Misseria Cantare begins to play The lights are dim, and the stage flickers with blue strobbing lights to the beat. Snow flakes begins to fall all through the arena, and the walkway is filled with smoke. The strobing light beat to the music, and then as the lights flicker again the figure of a hooded figure can be seen. The I am JESUS pose is given then the hood is flipped back revieling Michael Lively as blue spraks shoot up from the floor behind him.

Tony: And his opponent, Weighing in at 225 pounds. He is the Overdrive Champion. The White Lion, Michael Lively

Lively then begins to walk the ramp to the music, rolls into the ring, walks to the ropes inbetween two ring posts, climbs the second, leaning against the top, holding his title in the air, as snow falls around him, and the ring glows blue. Lively drops down strike the pose again embracing the overwhelming boo's from the crowd.

Chase: I have a feeling that we’re in for a treat here tonight Darren.

OVERDRIVE TITLE MATCH
Michael Lively Vs Jake Ruby

The bell rings and both men circle each other. Lively and Ruby lock up. Lively applies a side headlock and Ruby throws Lively off into the ropes and Ruby takes Lively down with a shoulder block. Ruby quickly covers Lively.

Lively is getting up and Ruby grabs Lively’s arm and then kicks Lively in the ribs. Lively falls back to the mat and Ruby gives a leg drop on Ruby’s arm and then goes for a crossface, but Lively is able to quickly get to the ropes. The ref pulls Ruby off and Lively slowly gets to his feet. Ruby moves in and Lively kicks Ruby in the stomach and then grabs Ruby and puts him in the corner. Lively throws an open hand chop that echo’s though the arena. Ruby stumbles to the middle of the ropes and Lively throws him into the other ropes and catches Ruby with a knee to the face. Lively covers and hooks the leg.

Kick out by Ruby. Lively quickly grabs Ruby’s head and applies a headlock.

Harvey: Lively already holds one victory over Ruby.

Chase: And Ruby is going to give it his all to take home that title tonight

Ruby fights back to his feet. He elbows Lively in the stomach a few times to get out of the headlock. Ruby goes to run off the ropes but Lively grabs a hand full of Ruby’s hair and pull’s Ruby down to the mat. Ruby sits up holding his head and Lively bounces off the ropes and kicks Ruby right in the spine. Lively slowly picks Ruby up and scoop slams him in the middle of the ring. Lively goes to the corner and starts to climb with his back to the ring. Lively gets to the top rope and Ruby gets up and goes behind Lively and hits his legs and Lively comes down on the top rope. Ruby climbs up the middle rope and gives Lively a few forearm shots to the shoulder blades. Ruby puts his head under Livelys arm and then pulls Lively off the top rope with a super side belly to back suplex off the top rope and the fans cheer for the high impact move. Lively holds the back of his neck as Ruby hooks Lively’s leg for the cover.

Chase: Maybe you could give him a massage after the show.
Harvey: Now’s not the time or place for those jokes.

Ruby starts stomping on the back of Lively’s neck and then drops an elbow on it. Ruby picks Lively up and throws him into the corner. Ruby takes a few steps back and then runs at Lively, hitting him with a clothesline. Ruby then grabs Lively’s head and runs out of the corner with his and hits a running bulldog, planting Lively’s head into the mat. Ruby turns Lively over and covers him.

Kick out. Ruby picks Lively up and Lively tries fighting back and Ruby gets a knee in on Lively. Ruby picks Lively up and hits him with a suplex. Ruby gets up and walks around the ring and waits for Lively to get to his feet. Lively does and Ruby runs for a knee lift, but Lively dodges it and then starts punching Ruby. He had Ruby in the corner and is punching and kicking him. Lively throws Ruby into the opposite corner and Lively runs at him but Ruby gets his foot in Lively’s face. Lively stumbles back a bit and then runs back at Ruby, but Ruby lifts Lively up in the air and Lively goes face first on the top turn buckle. Lively’s head snaps back and he stumbles towards the middle of the ring. Ruby is there and he kicks Lively in the stomach and hits a DDT. Ruby quickly covers and the ref counts.

Chase: Lively looks like he’s in trouble now

Ruby can’t believe it and is telling the ref that should have been a 3 count. He picks Lively up and pushes him in the corner and chops him. Ruby then brings him to the ropes and Ruby throws Lively into the rope and Lively reverses it. Ruby hits the ropes and Lively lowers his head. Rubys stops in front of Lively and picks him up, jumps in the air and plants him with a Piledriver. Ruby quickly covers Lively.

Kick out. Ruby quickly gets up and hits Lively back to the mat. Ruby pulls Lively up by the air and punches Lively in the face. Lively comes back with a punch of his own. Ruby takes a swing and Lively ducks it. Ruby spins around and Lively grabs Ruby with an Armdrag. Ruby gets back up and Ruby gets hit with a drop kick and goes down. Ruby gets up and Lively puts him in the corner and starts driving his shoulder into Ruby’s stomach. Lively then throws Ruby into the opposite corner and Ruby bounces out. Lively is there and grabs Ruby and hits a Northern Lights suplex and covers Ruby.

Harvey: There’s still some fight left in Lively.

Chase: But the question is how much.

Ruby gets up and Lively throws him into the ropes and connects with a spinning heel kick. Lively then calls for The Lions Bite. Ruby gets up and Lively kicks him and sets him up for The Lions Bite. Lively goes to flip over but Ruby fights it and Ruby delivers a backbody drop on Lively. Ruby stumbles around and Lively gets up. Ruby drop toe holds Lively and then grabs his Ankle and locks in the Ankle lock and Lively screams in pain. Lively slowly crawls to the ropes but Ruby pulls him to the middle of the ring. Lively lifts his hand about to tap but doesn’t. Lively screams some more and then finds the strength to get to his feet. With Ruby holding one leg, Lively jumps and kicks Ruby in the back of the head with his other foot. Ruby stumbles around in a daze. Lively gets to his feet and Ruby goes in for an attack but Lively grabs Ruby and hits a belly to belly suplex on Ruby and Ruby goes upside down in the corner. And both guys lay still.

Harvey: What a back and forth match this is.

Chase: This is still anybodies match.

The referee begins to count. 1.........2.......3.......4.......5.....6.....7........8....Ruby gets to his feet first followed by Lively. Ruby chops Lively and Lively chops him back. Lively then pokes Ruby in the eye with his thumb and Lively kicks Ruby and gives him a snap suplex. Lively goes over to Rubys Legs and locks on the Sharpshooter. Ruby is in the middle of the ring and Lively is leaning back. The ref is in position to watch for the tap out. Lively leans back more and Ruby screams in pain.

DING DING DING

Lively lets go of the hold and lifts his arms in the air.

Harvey: Did Ruby just tap out. The ref goes over to the time keeper and is talking with him. Lively rolls out of the ring, grabs his title and walks around the ring barrier towards the entrance ramp. Lively tired as hell takes a makes his way up the ramp. The ref talks to Tony Ferrari and he gets on the mic.

Tony Ferrari: Ladies and Gentilmen, Ruby did not submit here tonight. The twenty minute time limit has expired, there for, this match will end, in a Draw!

The fans boo as Ruby argues with the ref. The crowd is chanting “5 more minutes.”Lively is smiling as he’s walking up the ramp with his title in the air and then Tony Ferrari gets on the Mic

Tony: The referee has decided that this title match will not end in a draw and that a 5 minute overtime is to begin, right now!

Lively stands there in shock as the bell rings to restart the match. Ruby runs out of the ring, and grabs Lively. The title falls to the ground and Ruby rolls Lively into the ring and quickly pins him.

Ruby picks Lively up and sets him up for the Post Limit but Lively elbows Ruby in the head, getting out of it. Ruby goes for a clothesline but Lively ducks and then connects Ruby in the face with the Pele Kick. Ruby goes down and Lively falls on top of him and the fans count along.

Lively leaps off with a crossbody, but at the last second, Ruby jumps and falls on his back with his knee’s up, catching Lively with a Chest Cracker. The fans chant Holy s**t. Lively gets up holding his chest. Ruby stands up, grabs Lively and hits him with the Post Limit. Ruby covers.

Tony: The Referee has decided that 5 more minutes will be added to this match for a Double Overtime and the match restarts now!

The fans cheer and Ruby is mad that he didn’t win. The bell rings and Ruby quickly covers Lively and the ref slides into the ring to make the count.

Lively goes over to the corner and rips off the padding on the turn buckle, exposing it. Ruby gets up, not seeing this and runs at Lively, Lively moves and Ruby hits the corner. Lively kicks Ruby in the stomach and brings him to the middle of the ring and then hits the LIONS BITE! Lively covers.

Lively sets Ruby up and calls for a moonsault. Lively starts climbing and like earlier in the match, Ruby gets up and hits Lively from behind and Ruby starts climbing. Lively throws some Elbows knocking Ruby off the top rope and back to the mat. Ruby lands on his feet and Ruby goes between the ropes to the ring apron and climbs to the top rope that way.

Harvey: This can’t be good for either men.

Lively headbutts Ruby and Ruby holds on to the top rope. Lively pulls Ruby up and punches him a few times. Lively pokes Ruby in the eyes and then Lively puts Rubys head between his legs. Lively uses all the strength he has and picks Ruby up in a powerbomb position and then jumps off the ropes backwards and pulls Ruby’s face down, hitting a Face buster! The fans chant Holy s**t and Lively gets an arm across Rubys chest.

The fans stand up giving the two guys a standing ovation. The ref hands Lively the title and he poses with it. Ruby gets to his feet and gets face to face with Lively. Ruby then extends his hand out and Lively shakes it. Ruby leaves the ring as Lively continues to celebrate.

[President Jeff]

The camera cut backstage where you see President Jeff upset at Spirits unwanted arrival at Shockwave. Jeff turns into the camera and say’s

Jeff: Spirit, I hope your listening. I’m sick and tired of you invading my shows with your messages. You want your job back in APW? Well, you’ll have to fight for it, because on Overdrive, September 8, One person gets their job back and another gets fired. It will be “Spirit” Tara Jacobs taking on Victor Brander, winner gets their suspension uplifted, loser is gone from APW FOREVER!

The camera fadea back to the commentators.

Harvey: Wow, Spirit has to fight for her job next Monday.

Chase: Uh-oh Darren that cage is starting to lower…

Harvey: That can only mean one thing Johnny, this Pay Per View is about to get very violent!

Chase: Look at all the weapons those guys are bringing to the ring. This is going to be insane!

Harvey: These two teams’ careers are never going to be the same again Johnny.

Chase: And remember Darren, pin falls and submissions don’t mean anything in this match; you have to escape to win.

Harvey: And escaping can be a dangerous road man.

Chase: The Combatants are about to make their way to the ring. Let’s go to Tony Ferrari for the introductions.


Tony: The following Contest is the Hardcore Cage Match for the APW Tag Team Championship. To win the match, both members of one team must escape the cage!

My Own Summer by the Deftones hits over the PA as the challengers come out first. Tony and Sabur walk through the curtain and make their way down the ramp.

Tony: Making their way to the ring first, at a combined weight of 552 pounds, the team of Sabur and Tony Blackwell

The two get into the ring and wait for their opponents. “Kick start my Heart” by Motley Crue begins to play as the Tag Team Champions Hardcore Ice walk through the curtains and make their way to the ring

Tony: And their opponents, at a combined weight of 462 pounds, they are The APW Tag Team Champions, The Hardcore Kid, Jason Royce, they are, HARDCORE ICE!

The Tag Champs get into the ring and wait for the match to start.

APW TAG TEAM TITLE HARDCORE CAGE MATCH
Hardcore Ice Vs Tony Blackwell and Sabur


Hardcore Ice starts the match off with a bang nailing both Sabur and Tony with a get up and I’ll knock you down clothesline routine. Royce and Tony pair up leaving Sabur and The Kid to duke it out. Royce tosses Tony into the turnbuckle knocking one of the garbage cans over toppling weapons into the ring. Royce give a sinister grin and grabs a cookie sheet and cracks Tony knocking him back into the corner, meanwhile on the other side The Kid is busying himself grinding Sabur’s face on the cage wall.

Chase: The champs aren’t wasting any time in this match.

The Kid picks up Sabur and whips him across the ring sending him smacking into Tony. Royce uses this as a sign and grabs the trash can and sets it up in front of the pair as The Hardcore Kid charges in and spears the trash can right into Sabur and Blackwell knocking both men to the mat.

Harvey: Hardcore Ice means business tonight!

Sabur is lifeless on the mat so The Kid and Royce use this opportunity to double team Tony. The Kid goes to another corner and grabs a chair and a baseball bat and comes back to Royce.

Chase: Is that a baseball bat?

Harvey: What the hells is a baseball bat doing in this match.

Chase: It’s a Hardcore Cage match Darren. Anything goes!

The Kid winds up and smashes the Baseball bat over Tony’s head sending. Then with Tony staggering around wondering what the hell just happened Royce hits a Running Bulldog on Tony driving him right onto the chair that was set up in the middle of the ring leaving Tony motionless on the mat. The Kid and ROoyce celebrate figuring the match is over and begin to head to the door. Sabur by this point has made his way to his feet and has a 2 X 4 in his hand. The Hardcore Kid and The Iceman turn to see this and make a mad dash for the gate. Pulling a three stooges moment the two smack into each other trying to get out and Royce turns to get smacked in the head with the 2 X 4. The Kid using his ring alertness low blows Sabur and rolls out of the ring.

Harvey: The Kid is out of the ring Chase - oh my god the champs are half way to retaining the titles.

Chase: All they need now is to get Royce out of there.

Sabur gets to his knees to see Royce crawling to the door. Tony hobbles over and slams the door shut on Royce’s head knocking him back to the ring. Sabur motions to the ref to shut the door locking The Hardcore Kid out of the cage leaving a two on one situation. Royce looks at both men and jumps at the side of the cage and begins to climb like a mad man trying to escape. Sabur and Tony climb up beside him and meet him at the top of the cage.

Chase: Holy crap, this is really, really bad news, someone is going to get seriously hurt here especially with all that crap in the ring.

Royce begins to throw punches and elbow like there’s no tomorrow but to no avail as The Challengers lock his arms and carefully get to their feet.

Chase: Oh my god! Don’t you do it!

Harvey: Their gonna kill him!

Sabur puts Royce’s head between his legs and lifts him up in a power bomb formation, Tony then leaps off the top of the cage grabbing Royce by the neck as Sabur jumps off and they spike Royce smack into a garbage can laying in the ring with a Power bomb neckbreaker like move. A chant of holy shit can be heard Sabur and Tony roll slowly towards the sides of the ring using the ropes to try to help themselves to their feet as Royce lays in a bloody heap with a garbage can now moulded to his back.

Chase: God lord man Royce has to be dead.

Harvey: And look and The Hardcore Kid he’s helpless on the outside!

Chase: Sabur and Tony are starting to climb Darren!

Sabur makes his way fairly quickly up the cage and begins to climb down as Tony but The Kid meets him near the top and the two begin fighting. Tony starts to get near the top but somehow Royce who seems to have received a second wind grabs him by the ankle and is holding on for dear life. Sabur grapples The Kid and hits the House of Pain off the top of the cage all the way down to the floor on the outside with Tony battling with Royce on the wall of the cage.

Harvey: Good lord, Sabur and The Kid are done in!

Chase: And how much can Royce have left, these guys are screwed Darren.

Royce finally gets to Tony’s waist and nails a German suplex-bringing Tony all the way off the cage to the ring. Royce gets to his feet barely and nails the Go To Sleep on Tony right in the middle of the ring, and begins to crawl slowly to the door.

Harvey: The champs are gonna win it Darren, its all over now!

Chase: This could be it Darren, everyone else is out cold!

Royce starts sliding out the door but out of nowhere Sabur comes over and slams the door into Jasons’s head knocking him back into the ring. Jason trying to remain tough staggers on his feet but turns the wrong way and Tony drills him with the big boot! Tony slowly starts climbing the cage as The Kid and Sabur start battling on the floor.

Chase: We may have new tag champs right here!

The Kid throws Sabur into the cage then drives Sabur into the guardrail with a drop toehold. The Kid then starts to climb the cage in front of where Tony is climbing. Tony and The Kid make their way to the top at about the same time and start exchanging punches. Sabur starts climbing up behind The Kid and as he gets to the top starts to try to pull The Kid off the cage. The Kid swings at Tony but Tony ducks and counters by smacking The Hardcore Kids head off the top of the cage causing him to weave back and forth. Sabur goes to hit the Kid in the back of the head, but The Kid moves and Sabur connect with Tony and Tony falls off the cage and into the middle of the ring.

Chase: Holy Crap!

Royce is now crawling through the door and falls to the floor.

Chase: What a crazy match that was

Harvey: These four guys are going to be in extreme pain once the adrenaline runs off

Sabur can’t believe that he and Tony lost to Hardcore Ice again. The Kid climbs down the cage and celebrates with Royce as we go to a commercial for Overdrive.

[President Jeff]

The camera is backstage where you see Doctor Phate with the APW World Title over his shoulder and next to him is Diana Steel Lambardo and President Jeff.

Phate: I want you guys to stay back here tonight, no matter what happens out there!

Diana: Are you sure?

Phate: Positive. And Jeff, I need you to make this match a No Disqualifaction match. I want to put an end to Twister tonight!

Jeff: You got it champ. Tonight is the end of Twisters Rage.

The camera then cuts to ringside.

Chase: The main event has just turned into a No Disqualifaction match.

Harvey: I wonder how Twister will adapt to this.

Chase: Well its time for the main event.

Tony: The following contest is your main event of the evening and it’s a No Disqualification match for the APW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

The lights in the arena dim to the brink of utter darkness, the only light emanating from the Tron screen as the driving eerie guitars rhythms at the beginning of “Sweet Dreams” by Marilyn Manson begin to echo throughout the arena. The voice of Marilyn Manson suddenly blares out from the speakers:

"Sweet dreams are made of this
Who am I to disagree?
Travel the world and the seven seas
Everybody's looking for something
Some of them want to use you
Some of them want to get used by you
Some of them want to abuse you
Some of them want to be abused..."

As "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" by Marilyn Manson gets under way the lights come back up slightly, forcing our camera to gather itself...and focusing in on "The Icon" Doctor Phate cutting through the audience with the title over his shoulder. Phate hops the guard rail, and takes his time entering the ring before making his way to the farthest corner and plopping down into a seated position!

The music cuts out and Tony is still in the ring.

Tony: Introducing first the Challenger to my right. Weighing in at 235 pounds, from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, TWISTER!

Twister gets a loud ovation as he poses for the fans

Tony: And now to my left, Weighing in at 260 pounds, from Detroit Michigan. He is the APW World Heavyweight Champions, The Icon, Doctor PHATE!

The crowd boo’s as Phate gets to his feet and Tony exits the ring and the bell rings to start this match.

Phate and Twister circle each other, than the two titans lock up. Twister locks his arm around Phate and Hip Tosses him, but Phate rolls right to his feet and he runs to the ropes, and comes back with Clothesline that sends Twister to the mat. Twister gets right back up but Phate bounces off the ropes and Clotheslines Twister again. Twister shakes it off and Phate goes for a third one, but Twister ducks and Phate bounces off the rope and Twister hits Phate with a Spinebuster. Twister makes a cover,

Shoulder's up. Twister picks Phate up, but Phate punches Twister in the gut, then again, then again, then again, then he begins going at Twister with the left and rights and punches Twister right into the corner. He then goes to the turnbuckles. The capacity crowd begins counting as Phate punches 1... 2... 3... 4... 5... 6... 7... 8... 9... stops and looks at the crowd...... 10! Twister slumps into a sitting position and Phate moves to the center of the ring. Phate then runs at Twister and smashes his knee into Twister's face.

Chase: Twister just got his face twisted!

Phate grabs Twister by the head and throws him to the ropes and hits Twister with a Belly to Belly on the rebound. The Champ makes a cover,

Phate picks up Twister again. He goes for a Suplex, but Twister shifts momentum and sends Phate to the mat with an Armbar. Phate tries to reach the ropes, but it's no use. He tries to claw his way out, but he can't. Twister gets bored of the Armbar and lets go off The World Champion and let's him get up. Twister stands, waiting for Phate to attack, and Phate runs at him and Twister goes to grab The Doctor, but Phate slides feet-first through Twister's legs like a ball player sliding into home. Twister looks down to see what has happened, and Phate sweeps out Twister's legs and Twister lands on his upper back. Phate makes a cover

Harvey: Nice back and forth action here!

Phate picks up Twister by the head and he throws him to the ropes, but Twister bounces back with a Spinning Calf Kick that sends Phate right over the top rope. Phate lands outside, and Twister hits Phate with a Vaulting Body Press over the top rope.

Chase: Finally, they go out of the ring!

Harvey: They're going to take advantage of the no count out, no DQ!

Twister gets up first, rubbing his stomach from the impact to the ground. Twister picks up Phate and sets him up for a Suplex. Twister stalls, then turns to face the Ring Barrier, and he drops Phate gut first on the ring barrier. The idiot fans at ring side are hooping and hollering like it's the best thing since sliced bread. Twister grabs Phate by the head and pulls him back to ring side. He goes to whip Phate into the ring steps, but Phate reverses it and Twister slams into the ring steps, knocking the top half off. Twister is lying on the ground and Phate begins punching Twister in the face, then he stops and walks over to the bottom half of the steps and pulls them away from the ring. Then, he takes Twister and drags him onto the steps. Then, he goes and takes the upper half the steps and goes to slam them into Twister, but Twister rolls out of the way and Phate hits the steps together and shakes a bit from the vibration. Twister then jumps over the steps and tackles Phate to the floor and starts pounding his head into the ground. Then, he picks up Phate and whips him into the ring post. Phate hits it with a "ding", then he turns and stumbles into a Powerslam onto the steps. Phate cries out in pain, and Twister grabs the top half of the ring steps and he slams them into Phate's ribs.

Chase: Ye-ouch!

Harvey: That’s gotta hurt!

Phate cries out again in pain and rolls off onto the ground. Twister grabs Phate and rolls him back into the ring, and then he climbs up to the turnbuckle. Phate is laying sprawled on the mat and Twister goes for a Guillotine Leg Drop, but Phate rolls out of the way and Twister holds his lower back in pain!

Chase: It could have been over for Twister if he landed the move.

Phate uses the opportunity to lock the Challenger in a Figure Four Leg Lock. Twister is screaming in pain, but he's not gonna go out that easily. Phate holds Twister in the Leg Lock for two minutes before he realizes that Twister isn't gonna give up. He lets Twister go and Twister just lays on the mat, in pain. Phate picks up Twister and goes for a back Drop, but before he can lift Twister off the ground, Twister puts Phate in a Headlock, then takes him down with a Bulldog. Twister holds his back in pain as he gets up and waits for Phate to get up.

Chase: Twister should be all taking it to Phate right now!

Phate slowly gets up to his knees and Twister walks over to him and grabs him by the hair. Phate responds in kind with a Low Blow!. Twister's eyes cross and he falls backwards.

Chase: That was low!

Harvey: Phate is lucky this is a No Disqualification match

Twister kicks out at the last second. Twister is still in agony, but the ref can't do anything because the match is no DQ. Phate picks up Twister this time and then hits him with a Manhattan Drop. Twister is groaning in pain when Phate picks him up and whips him into the corner. Phate walks over and slugs Twister in the face, then he puts Twister's legs up on the middle ropes. Twister looks helpless as Phate centers himself in the ring. He smiles an evil smile, then runs at Twister. Twister unhooks his leg last second and sticks it straight out in front, right into Phate's "Guys". Phate falls to the mat in pain and Twister unhooks his other leg and takes a breather to "readjust".

Chase: This has turned into a damn game of Roshambo!

Harvey: Have you been watching South Park lately?

Chase: Just a little

Twister, after he seems to have gone back to normal, picks up Phate and throws him into the ropes and when he comes back, Twister hits a Samoan Drop. He makes the cover on Phate.

Harvey: Twister is trying to break Phate’s neck, but Phate is like a machine.

Twister is mad, he was sure that one would end the match and he would win the belt belt. Twister then sets up Phate for the Windbreaker, but Phate reverses it by Back Tossing Twister over the top rope. Twister lands hard on his back on the outside. Phate steps out to the apron, the jumps to the middle rope and hits a Moonsault on the challenger.

Chase: Well, we had figured Phate was gone for good, but the kid's making a comeback.

Phate walks over to the Spanish announcer’s table and takes a chair that no one was sitting in. He folds it up and walks over to Twister. Twister is getting up and he turns to face Phate and *BAM*, it's a face full of steel chair. Twister falls down. He slowly gets to his feet again, and he's taken back down with another chair shot. He tries a third time to get up and his head is busted open and Phate busts it open a bit more with a chair shot that sends Twister into the ring barrier.

Harvey: Phate is about to show Twister why he’s the world champion!

He's propped up against the ring barrier and Phate hits him in the back of the head, sending Twister into the crowd. Phate follows Twister into the crowd and hits him with another chair shot. Then another, then another, then another. The fans are going nuts, screaming for more. Phate tosses the chair back to ring side and then he grabs Twister and tosses him over the ring barrier and Twister lands on the chair. Phate goes back over to Twister and sets him up so his head and upper back and laying on the chair.

Chase: Phate is a sick man!

Phate then climbs up to the top rope and tries to get some crowd support and they want more carnage. Phate then takes to the air for a big diving headbutt, but Twister rolls out of the way and Phate slams into the chair.

Chase: This could cost Phate

Harvey: Don't count Phate out yet!

Chase: They'll have to scrape Phates face off that chair.

Twister rolls Phate off the chair and picks it up. He sets it up and sits down for a few seconds to catch a breath. When he sees that Phate is getting up, he gets up and folds the chair. He waits for Phate to get up and face him and Twister swings at Phate, but Phate ducks and kicks Twister in the stomach, causing him to drop the chair, then Phate Sambo Suplexes Twister onto the chair. Phate then picks up Twister and begins to walk him over to the ramp, but Twister shoves Phate into the barrier. The two then get into a schoolyard fist fight and the two just start punching each other and then Twister takes Phate down and the two fight on the ground, roll each other over and punching each other and slamming each other's head onto ground. Eventually, they make their way up to the top of the ramp to an area next to a pit full of speakers and other electrical equipment.

Chase: This doesn’t look good.

Phate is on top of Twister, punching him in the face, when Twister uses his legs to toss Phate off of him into the pit and Phate lands on some equipment that causes sparks to fly. Twister gets up and looks down at Phate, who is about 7 feet down, laying on a black box with the occasional spark flying out. Twister then jumps off the ramp and hits Phate with a Elbow Drop, causing more sparks to fly everywhere. The fans are going wild and chanting “Holy Shit” and “That was Awesome”

Chase: Neither of these two care about what they're doing to their bodies.

Harvey: Its amazing what fighting for a world title can do to a person

Twister and Phate, just lay there for a few minutes, and Twister gets up first. He spots a utility ladder that is about 15 feet high laying down off to the side of the pit and he leans it up against to the wall that is opposite to the ramp, which is around 15 feet high and at the top there are fans leaning over, watching the action and cheering. Twister begins to climb the ladder just as Phate is getting up. When Twister is at the top, a fan there begins patting him on the back and telling him that he's doing a kick ass job. Twister turns around on the ladder and sees Phate standing at the bottom. Phate pulls back on the ladder and the ladder begins to fall over and Twister falls off, slamming into another black box and more sparks fly.

Chase: This match need to stop before someone dies!

Phate leans the ladder back against the tall wall and picks up Twister and sits him up on his shoulders. He then walks up the ladder with Twister on his shoulders and when he's at the top, he just jumps off and the two of them slam into the ground. Both of them are laying on the ground and Twister's in worse condition than Phate. The fans are chanting for them to get up. After about a minute of laying there, Phate gets up. He picks up Twister and Phate brings Twister onto a table that is by the ramp, then he throws Twister onto the ramp and climbs on himself. Phate then grabs Twister by the legs and drags him down to the ring, and then he picks him up and rolls him into the ring.

Chase: Ok, no more messing around, they're back in the ring.

Harvey: We'll soon know who is going to win this Main Event at Shockwave

Phate picks up Twister and he hits him with a Fisherman's Suplex and follows through with a cover,

Chase: How did he kick out!

Phate picks up Twister and throws him into the ropes, but Twister comes back with a Spear that causes Phate to go down hard. Twister makes a cover on Phate and the crowd counts along.

kick out. Twister then picks Phate up and he hits Phate with a Sitdown Powerbomb and makes a cover.

Chase: Do these two have anything left?

Twister picks Phate up again and holds him by the head, but Phate grabs onto Twister and runs him into the corner. He then puts Twister up onto the corner and hits him with a Superplex. He makes a cover,

Kick Out!

With every move and every cover, the fans are getting more and more anxious. Phate leaves Twister on the ground and locks him in the boston crab. Twister is screaming in pain, but he refuses to let his belt go through a tap out. After a minute or two, Twister manages to elbow Phate in the back on his knee, causing his knee's to buckle, then Twister pulls on Phate's ankles, causing him to slam into the mat face first and Twister locks Phate into the Twister's Rage.

Harvey: Phate could tap out right here!

Now it's Phate begging for mercy, but he didn't come all this way either just to tap out. He claws for the ropes, but Twister drags him to the middle of the ring and intensifies the lock. Phate looks almost ready to tap, but he reaches back and punches Twister in the Achilles Tendon, and Twister looses his balance and Phate rolls to his back, causing Twister to fall down to his back. Phate winds up sitting on Twister midsection and pushes down on Twister's shoulder.

Chase: There acting like divas...

Harvey: I don't think they care, they just want to win!

After going back and forth a few times, both of them are using one hand to push themselves off the mat, and uses the other to try to push each other to the mat. Both men eventually break out of this hold and roll away. Both men get to their feet.

Chase: What a match!

Harvey: And what an event!

The two run at each other and Phate manages to get Twister down with a






Twister is sprawled on the mat after taking one too many hits to the head. Phate makes the cover.

Chase: What is Twister made out of.

Phate can’t believe it. Phate kicks Twister in the ribs, then he climbs to the top rope. Phate smiles and takes to the air and hits a Big Leg Drop. He makes the cover.

Chase: Unbelievable match!
